The operating table was supposed to be the end of your appendix troubles—not the beginning of a nightmare that would leave you fighting for your life in a hospital gone mad.

Welcome back to the terrifying continuation of "Code Black," where we pick up right after our survivors escaped their initial operating room horror. Armed with nothing but an IV stand and a security guard's baton, they now face a hospital transformed into a labyrinth of death and mystery.

What started as a routine medical procedure has spiraled into something far more sinister. The facility is crawling with "gurglers"—zombies that emit a deadly pink mist from their mouths where organs grotesquely hang. Most horrifying are the infected children, whose small bodies can't contain the infection, causing them to explode when approached.

The stakes rise dramatically when the hospital PA system crackles to life with a message from Dr. Eris Thorne, broadcasting from "sub-level three"—revealing the existence of secret underground floors. Simultaneously, metal grates seal all exits, trapping our survivors inside. What kind of hospital has lockdown protocols and hidden subterranean laboratories?

When armed personnel arrive, they shoot first and ask questions never. Our survivors sustain multiple injuries in the ensuing firefight but manage to overcome their attackers, collecting valuable security access cards for the mysterious sub-levels. Could the key to survival—and answers—lie beneath the hospital?

Throughout this pulse-pounding episode, you'll experience the desperate measures people take when faced with impossible situations: treating severe wounds with limited supplies, disguising themselves in enemy uniforms, and making split-second decisions that determine whether they live or die.

Grab your medical kit and load your weapon—this hospital visit is just beginning, and discharge isn't an option. Subscribe now to hear how deep the rabbit hole goes in this medical facility where healing is the last thing on anyone's mind.

SPEAKER_04 (00:56):
We got Eric, he's the whiny one.

SPEAKER_01 (01:00):
No, I had a character planned out on
everything.

SPEAKER_04 (01:03):
We've got Alex, he's the mute one.
He doesn't actually talk, he'sjust here.
Say hi, Alex.

SPEAKER_02 (01:08):
He says hi.

SPEAKER_04 (01:09):
He's signing right now.
He actually communicates throughsqueaks on his bald head.
He just rubs his strategically.

SPEAKER_02 (01:22):
Wow.
That would actually be quite animpressive language.
That's like a Star Trek languagefor sure.

SPEAKER_04 (01:28):
But yeah, today we are doing Code Black.

SPEAKER_02 (01:32):
Woo!

SPEAKER_04 (01:33):
Uh for those of you who haven't seen the last
episode, probably go watch thelast episode.
It ends on a cliffhanger, andthen you can come back to this
one.
Sit back, relax, enjoy this longass episode, because it's
probably gonna be long becausethey were in the operating room
last time for at least 45minutes.

SPEAKER_02 (01:48):
Okay, we didn't know the we didn't know the vibe.
We were still vibe checking.

SPEAKER_07 (01:54):
Yeah, you were mean.
Yeah, you didn't give us anyclues.
He speaks.
Eric.

SPEAKER_02 (01:58):
Can you remind can you remind us for for the
audience?
Uh what happened last?

SPEAKER_04 (02:05):
Okay, so for those who haven't heard the last
episode, basically they were onthe top floor of a hospital.
They woke up, they were on theoperating table.
Their appendix was just about tobe cut off.
Like it was already clamped andeverything.
They were gonna cut it off orwhatever.
Woke up, room was covered inblood.
Uh it took them 45 minutes.

(02:25):
They finally exited the roomafter doing all the proper
medical care to their bodiesthat they needed to, so they
didn't get an infection.
That was they then ran into thebig bad of the story, my
zombies.
I'm not sure what I'm gonna callthem yet.
Let's just call them zombies.
Um, gurglers, I think it was oneof them.
Uh Zekes, they emit a pink mistfrom their front where their

(02:52):
organs are hanging out of theirmouth.
Uh yeah.
Yeah, so they escaped that.
They ended up in a room.
Uh, that room had a securityguard uh in the middle.
It was he was dead.
Uh there was a room on the rightwhere they could have gotten a
flashlight and a gun, but theywere smart.
They missed it.
And we said no.

(03:12):
Um, their only weapon was theirIV spirit.
We missed it, like the pinkmissed.
I hate you.
You see what I did there?
You see what I did there?
The um they stole the securityguard shit.
He left them but butterball assnaked on the floor.
Uh they have He wasn't gonnaneed it.
They have a baton, they havetheir IV stand, they have

(03:35):
handcuffs, they have oh, a mapof the building, but only for
the top floor.
Um, am I missing anything thatyou can remember?

SPEAKER_02 (03:44):
Well sounds about right.

SPEAKER_07 (03:45):
We went into a stairwell and we were looking to
see it our way down, but it'scollapsed.

SPEAKER_04 (03:52):
Yeah, the stairwell is collapsed from the second
floor down.

SPEAKER_07 (03:55):
So they second floor, okay.

SPEAKER_04 (03:57):
They could only be on the third floor, and that's
where the pediatric ward and alllike the kid ward shit, baby
ward, whatever, it's all on thatfloor.
Uh when they made it to thatfloor, they realized that there
are multiple types of zombies.
Uh, and when a child is infectedwith this virus, um, or

(04:19):
infection, or whatever the fuckit is, um their little bodies
can't stand it.
Uh their organs expanding, because usually it'll go out
their mouth, but they can'tstand it and they explode into a
pink mist.
Um, there was hundreds of them.
Uh, and I believe you wererunning, got glass in your feet
because you were barefoot.

(04:41):
Okay, I remember that.
And just right at the end ofthat.
Security guard was like a sizeeight.
You threw something.
That's right.
I think you threw the baton.
Wait, what happened?
Why did we throw it?

SPEAKER_07 (04:54):
We didn't throw the baton.

SPEAKER_04 (04:55):
What what did you guys throw?
You threw something at thezombie.

SPEAKER_02 (04:59):
I'm not gonna lie, because now things aren't really
uh clicking too hard with me.
I feel like I got tired at theend of this episode.

SPEAKER_04 (05:07):
At the very end of the episode, it ends on a
cliffhanger.
They throw the baton at the headof the child zombie, or the one
that's closest.
Because there's a lot chasing.
Um that won't open.
We threw a baton at a kid to tryto they tried to initiate the

(05:29):
explosion prematurely, so itdidn't get to them.

SPEAKER_03 (05:33):
Yeah, what is that?

SPEAKER_04 (05:34):
And that that's that's where we end, because
they they rolled a dice, Ithink.
A die.
Um Well, what did we roll?
To determine.
I I I remember what happened,like, because I don't remember
what you rolled, but I know thatit had a certain I feel like I
rolled a nine.

(05:55):
I don't think I rolled well.
I think it had a certain oplike.
Whatever's gonna happen ishappening.
Because that's it was in mybrain for so long.
I knew what was gonna happen.

SPEAKER_02 (06:05):
Okay.
I'm ready.
I feel caught up.

SPEAKER_04 (06:07):
Let's do this.
What was that noise?
Sound like an explosion comingfrom the floor below us.
Maybe I should go check thatout.
Eric, you're on the floor abovethe third floor in the
stairwell.

SPEAKER_02 (06:20):
I'm old man, Jenkins!

SPEAKER_04 (06:22):
You're not, you're 20 years old.
Okay.

SPEAKER_02 (06:25):
I still talk this way.
I'm kidding.
Uh I'm just I'm kidding.

SPEAKER_04 (06:31):
You go down to check where that explosion is.
I'm on the fourth floor.
You are on the floor above thethird floor in a stairwell.
Uh, most people would say fourthfloor.
Um, do I do I do I know what'sgoing on at all?
Uh you have somewhat of aknowledge of what is happening.
Oh, right.
Just not what's happening downthere.

SPEAKER_02 (06:51):
Gotcha.
So I hear an explosion.
Yeah, I do want to cautiously godown the stairwell if I can, and
I kind of want to peer inthrough the glass and see if I
can see what's going on, but Iwant to be cautious.

SPEAKER_04 (07:04):
As you take your first step down the stairs,
bang! Giant explosion.
You hear the door on the floorbelow you shoot back and hit the
stairs.

SPEAKER_00 (07:15):
Okay.
Uh it got blown off.
Can I see anything?

SPEAKER_04 (07:19):
I mean, you're still on the stairs.
Do you continue on?
Um, hold what do I hear?
You hear rubble falling, youhear groaning.

SPEAKER_02 (07:30):
I'm gonna hug the wall closely and slowly start
walking down.
I I just want to see if I couldkind of peer in and see what's
happening.

SPEAKER_04 (07:37):
Uh, as you walk down the stairs, you're you know,
getting real, you know, realslick with it.
You're trying to look around soyou don't get spotted by
something or you know, whatever.
And you see what looks like asecurity guard with no shoes on.

SPEAKER_07 (07:51):
Oh man.

SPEAKER_02 (07:52):
Um, do am I in a stairway that goes down any any
further?

SPEAKER_04 (07:55):
Uh you you I mean you haven't checked.

SPEAKER_02 (07:58):
I I look around.
Does it look like I can go downfurther?

SPEAKER_04 (08:01):
It looks like you can go down further.

SPEAKER_02 (08:03):
Okay, I'm gonna call out.
Uh uh, is there anything betweenme and the security guard?
Does he even know I exist?

SPEAKER_04 (08:09):
Uh I you're looking and he looks unconscious or
dead.

SPEAKER_02 (08:13):
Oh shit.

SPEAKER_04 (08:14):
And are there any are there any Z's around?
Uh there are no Zeds, but yousee a bunch of rubble past the
door that he's laying next to.

SPEAKER_02 (08:24):
Okay, I'm gonna kinda slink my way over towards
the security guard.
I'm gonna check him for a gun.
Uh, you start checking thesecurity guard and he moves.
Oh, come on.
Okay, I take my hands out of hispockets.
They definitely weren't there.

SPEAKER_04 (08:43):
It looks as though he's alive.
But his whole shit.
His whole left side is singedand burned in the coat that he's
wearing is melted into his skin.
You know that the pink mist thatcomes from these zombies can
infect people.
Oh no.
Do I know of any way to stopthat?

(09:05):
Uh, earlier in the day, when itstarted, you've seen a guy cut
off a limb to save himself.
Is this burn just on his arm oris it like it's it's on his arm,
yeah.

SPEAKER_02 (09:17):
Alright, buddy.
Uh, we're gonna be okay.
I'm going to kind of militaryget underneath his uh his uh sh
armpits with my with my arms andkind of start walking backwards,
dragging him uh kind of awayfrom the rubble.
Is there a room nearby thatlooks like it might have

(09:38):
something sharp?
Uh a minute.

SPEAKER_04 (09:40):
Like some sort of you can go up the stairs or down
the stairs.
Oh, okay.
I'm no longer on the floor.
Um you're he he got blown intothe stairwell.
So you're in the stairwell.

SPEAKER_02 (09:52):
I see, I see.
Okay.

SPEAKER_04 (09:54):
You can't go through the door that he came through
because it's collapsed.

SPEAKER_02 (09:58):
I see.
Oh fuck.
Do I have anything on me?
Do I have a machete orsomething?
Do you want to check for that?
Yeah, sure.
I'm gonna check.
What do I got on me?

SPEAKER_04 (10:08):
You check your bag, you have a little mini Barbie
flashlight that you crank inorder to use.

SPEAKER_02 (10:16):
I actually I had that on me before the
apocalypse.

SPEAKER_04 (10:20):
You have a dead Apple Watch, you have a Samsung
phone.
It's at 2%.
What kind of person am I?
I it's weird.
I don't know.
Uh you have a half-smoked joint.

SPEAKER_02 (10:35):
I know what kind of person I am.

SPEAKER_04 (10:38):
You have a fire axe.
Hmm.
Okay.
Do I have a wearing you have alighter?
You're wearing jeans, uh, jeanjacket, and a jean shirt.

SPEAKER_02 (10:51):
Is uh is the security guard awake?

SPEAKER_04 (10:54):
Uh he seems to be like when you're moving him
around, he seems to like he'sthere.
Like he's not dead.
He's making noises and stuff, but okay, but he is he's out
though.

SPEAKER_02 (11:05):
He's out.
Sick.
I'm gonna take off my belt if Ihave one.
You do have a belt.
I'm gonna really tightly uhtourniquet his shoulder.
Okay.
You do that.
Uh I'm gonna pull out the jointout of my pocket and I'm gonna
light that up and take a couplehits.
You light the joint and startsmoking it.
Yeah.

SPEAKER_07 (11:24):
Um don't bogart that joint.
Yeah, I'll save friends.

SPEAKER_02 (11:29):
I'll save the roach for you.
Nice.
Um, and I I'm gonna grab my fireaxe and I'm gonna start lining
up the hit.
Um, but I'm not gonna lie, Idon't feel like I've done this
before, so I'm gonna reallyhesitate here as I kind of
mentally prepare myself, kind ofhoping that maybe I don't have
to do this.

unknown (11:52):
Okay.

SPEAKER_04 (11:54):
Right as you're about to do it, he wakes up.
Alex, you see a five foot sevenuh dark-haired 20-year-old uh
with an axe ready to hit you inthe face with it.

SPEAKER_02 (12:16):
And a joint in my mouth.

SPEAKER_04 (12:18):
And a joint in his mouth.
What do you do?

SPEAKER_07 (12:21):
What are you doing, man?

SPEAKER_02 (12:23):
Um This w I I don't know how to ex Am I dead?
Not yet.

SPEAKER_07 (12:30):
Why are you gonna do that?

SPEAKER_02 (12:32):
Well I okay, I should you should first maybe
take a hit of this.

SPEAKER_07 (12:38):
I haven't smoked since I've been in college.
Good.
Okay.

SPEAKER_02 (12:42):
There you go.

SPEAKER_03 (12:43):
Um So don't look.
But your arm is.

SPEAKER_04 (12:47):
Alex, as you're fully regaining consciousness,
you realize that he's not aimingfor your head, but he's aiming
for your arm with a belt tiedaround it.
Okay, but don't look.

SPEAKER_07 (12:56):
What happened to my arm?

SPEAKER_02 (12:58):
Well, I don't know.
You uh you came bursting throughhere like a superhero.

SPEAKER_04 (13:05):
Except Alex, do you realize he's going to cut your
arm off?

SPEAKER_07 (13:09):
Do you have to?
Is there I don't know anymedical stations nearby?
Can we fix it?
Am I bitten?

SPEAKER_01 (13:16):
No, but if it's like the equivalent from what I've
seen.
Look, I've seen this in a musicbefore.

SPEAKER_04 (13:25):
You remember you were burnt on your back by the
pink mist at least 30 minutesago.

SPEAKER_02 (13:33):
So from what I've seen, um, you don't look too
hot.

SPEAKER_07 (13:36):
Uh but if if I'm gonna turn from these burns, I'm
gonna turn whether you cut myarm off or not.
Because I'm burned all over myback, too.

SPEAKER_02 (13:45):
I slightly adjust my aim more headward.
Okay.

SPEAKER_07 (13:50):
I think I think this is kind of fucked up.
If I was gonna turn, don't youthink I would have already
turned?

SPEAKER_01 (13:57):
I don't know you.

SPEAKER_07 (14:00):
Well, I don't know you.

SPEAKER_01 (14:01):
Well, I don't know.

SPEAKER_04 (14:03):
You you in your recollection, you remember that
it takes ten seconds to turn.

SPEAKER_02 (14:10):
Okay, I kind of loosen up a little bit.

SPEAKER_07 (14:12):
Um can you maybe put that down?

SPEAKER_02 (14:15):
Yes.
I'm gonna lower it and I'm gonnatake that joint back.

SPEAKER_07 (14:20):
Okay.

SPEAKER_02 (14:21):
I'm gonna take a step back.
Um so the last person that I sawget burned.
Um turned pretty fast.
And so I don't know uh I don'tknow anything, apparently.

SPEAKER_07 (14:38):
I think I would have turned by now if I was gonna
turn.
But if you wouldn't mind helpingme, I could use maybe some
bandages.

SPEAKER_02 (14:46):
Yeah, yeah.
Um, do I have a backpack?
Do I have anything?

SPEAKER_07 (14:49):
Is there an OR station nearby?
Would I I'm a security guard.
I think I would know.

SPEAKER_04 (14:55):
You got an old dingy uh T-shirt that has a rock
band's name on it.

SPEAKER_02 (15:01):
I I toss him a Metallica shirt.
You could use that.

SPEAKER_07 (15:04):
Now, theoretically speaking, I would know if
there's an OR nearby or a uh amedical supply station, right?
So maybe I can direct him wheresome medical supplies are.

SPEAKER_04 (15:17):
I mean you could.
But as you guys are talking, asound of a faint crackling alarm
followed by a sudden jarringscreech of feedback from the PA
system happens.
A man's voice comes through.
Attention hospital staff andremaining patients.
This is Dr.
Eris Thorne.
I am transmitting from a securedlab on sub-level three.

(15:40):
The doors are sealed and they'renot getting in.
Right as you say that.
All the doors and windows lockdown with metal grates.

SPEAKER_02 (15:51):
So I was just here uh for a uh for a uh a measles
shot.
Um what kind of hospital isthis?

SPEAKER_07 (16:02):
You were here for a measles shot?

SPEAKER_02 (16:04):
Yeah, I was I was just here.
You seem to know uh maybe moreabout this.

SPEAKER_07 (16:09):
This is just a regular hospital.
We take in pediatric patients.
Uh on the fifth floor is theoperating room.

SPEAKER_02 (16:17):
Yeah, I don't know many hospitals that um lock down
and have sublevels.

SPEAKER_07 (16:23):
Well, um, most hospitals have sublevels.
That's where they keep themorgues.

SPEAKER_02 (16:27):
Okay, I didn't know that.
I but-level three?

SPEAKER_07 (16:31):
I don't know anything about that.
I don't even know who thatdoctor is.
For all I know, he's not even areal doctor.

SPEAKER_04 (16:37):
Gunshots downstairs.
Okay, we could keep arguingabout this.

SPEAKER_07 (16:42):
Or we could get out of here because they're coming.
Okay, well do we go towards?
Well, here's the concern.
Uh, we go towards the gunshot, and they're probably gonna do to
us what you were gonna do to me.
Can you walk?
Can I walk?

SPEAKER_04 (16:58):
Do you want to check your body?

SPEAKER_07 (16:59):
I do.

SPEAKER_04 (17:00):
Uh your arm's cooked.
Uh it's your left arm, it'spretty burnt and uh crispy.
Uh lots of acid burns all overit.
Your legs are fine.
Uh other than the glass that wasin your feet.
Um there's probably still alittle bit in there.
Um, and the rest of your body'sfine, other than the scar where

(17:20):
you're you cut out yourappendix.

SPEAKER_07 (17:22):
So on this level, really there would be a nursing
station, and the nurse's stationwould have some basic medical
supplies.
I need to take care of this armand this wound, otherwise, we're
not gonna move very far veryfast.
Okay.
I'm gonna need your help, andyou can't leave without me
because I know how to get aroundin this place.

SPEAKER_02 (17:43):
Okay, well, I was hanging tight on the fourth
floor.
Um, if we want to check that orany anything to help you.
Um I don't think you can movevery much right now.
Where where would these suppliesbe?
Do you know on the fourth floor?

SPEAKER_07 (17:59):
So I want to check my memory.
Um, what do I know about thislevel?
And where could I get medicalsupplies?

SPEAKER_04 (18:06):
Well, you know that the level you're on, you're
currently in the staircase.
The door next to you iscompletely unable to be used.
There's rubble everywhere.
That goes to the floor.
So that's a no-go.
Uh and you know that the floorbelow you is just like a general
hospital floor.
It's it's gonna be the secondfloor.

SPEAKER_07 (18:25):
We gotta check the second floor.
That's where I remember thesupplies will be.

SPEAKER_04 (18:31):
Okay.
Um Is that where is y'all y'allgoing to the second floor?
Yeah, can you walk?

SPEAKER_07 (18:36):
Carefully, daintily.
I cannot run.
I can't.
I need your help.

SPEAKER_02 (18:41):
Okay.
Kind of do like the army.
Yep.
Put your arm over me.
My good arm.
And we'll uh we'll shamble downthe stairs towards the second
floor.

SPEAKER_04 (18:50):
Yep.
Alright, so you go down thestairs very slowly.
And it takes a good you know, five minutes.
His feet are really fucked up.
Leaving blood everywhere.

SPEAKER_02 (19:00):
Watch your watch your step.
Watch your step.
Okay, there's another step.
Okay, there's another step.

SPEAKER_04 (19:06):
You get to the door for the the second floor.

SPEAKER_02 (19:10):
Do you look at?
Okay.

SPEAKER_04 (19:11):
Um yeah, yeah, we peek in.
You peek in through the glassand you see what looks like some
sort of SWAT team member orsomething.
Not he's he's very heavilygeared up.
Uh headlamp on his head, andhe's shooting down people.
Okay.
What look like people.

SPEAKER_07 (19:31):
By himself?

SPEAKER_04 (19:32):
It looks as though he's by himself.

SPEAKER_02 (19:34):
Okay.
You wait here.
Where would where would thismedical box thing be?
Front desk?

SPEAKER_07 (19:42):
I don't think we should do that.
I think we should check.
What do you mean?
We should check to see what whatis this guy's purpose here?
Is he here to kill everythingand everybody?
Or is he only killing thosethings?

SPEAKER_02 (19:51):
Yeah, that's I was I wasn't even gonna talk to him.
Don't you worry.
I don't want to go towards thebig scary guy with the gun.

SPEAKER_07 (19:58):
This is what I want to do.
I'm gonna approach him.

SPEAKER_02 (20:01):
What?

SPEAKER_07 (20:02):
If he turns to kill me, I want you to bury that axe
in his neck.

SPEAKER_02 (20:06):
He we're coming from the same spot.

SPEAKER_07 (20:08):
I'm gonna go first.
I'm gonna hide, I'm gonna he'snot facing us.

SPEAKER_02 (20:12):
I mean, that's true.
Okay.
Um, this seems like I'm gonnaget as close as I can to him.
What about the things he'sshooting?
I feel like we're not thinkingabout everything.
I feel like you're very injured.
And um, I know I've smoked alittle bit already, but I feel
like we should just grab the boxand but we can't get by him
without being noticed.

SPEAKER_04 (20:29):
As you're talking, you hear level two clear heading
up to the third.

SPEAKER_07 (20:34):
Oh shit, he's coming.

SPEAKER_04 (20:35):
Uh you hide behind the door.

SPEAKER_02 (20:37):
Yeah, okay, I hide behind the door with the axe.
I'm ready.

SPEAKER_04 (20:40):
All right.
You you you hear steps.
He's getting closer.
He's getting closer.

SPEAKER_02 (20:44):
Go up the stairs a little.

SPEAKER_04 (20:45):
The door swings away.

SPEAKER_07 (20:47):
I'm backing away towards the stairs, and I'm
gonna ask him for help.
You get down!

SPEAKER_02 (20:52):
I peek around the door.
I'm I'm ready if it seems likehe's gonna shoot.

SPEAKER_07 (20:55):
I'll comply.
I'll get down on my knees.
I'm asking for help.

SPEAKER_04 (20:59):
We've got a civilian here, and uh, you know, you hear
them.
But sir, he's not infected.
All right, I guess he pulls thegun up and drives.

SPEAKER_02 (21:10):
I put the axe down on him.

SPEAKER_04 (21:11):
You smack him, hits him right in the back of the
neck.
He drops thud.
He continue to swing on him.

SPEAKER_03 (21:19):
Yeah, I swing a couple times.
I I swing like a lot.
There's a lot of adrenalinehappening.

SPEAKER_04 (21:24):
He's very much dead.
Okay, okay, okay, okay, okay.

SPEAKER_07 (21:29):
Okay, okay.
Let's keep some of his clothesintact here.
I need his shoes.
I need his shoes.

SPEAKER_02 (21:37):
Okay, okay.
Okay.
I very shakily start uh goingfor his shoes.
I'm just on autopilot now.

SPEAKER_07 (21:45):
And I don't put the shoes on, but I take the shoes
with me and we hobble our way tothe nurse's station.

SPEAKER_02 (21:51):
Yeah, we go to the nurse's station.
I am very shaky.
I'm making it hard for you towalk.
You yunk his shoes, that's it.

SPEAKER_07 (21:57):
Um no, we gotta uh we gotta Okay, here's what we
gotta do.
Oh, I grab his gun.
You grab his gun, I use the axelike a cane.

SPEAKER_02 (22:05):
Mmm.
Okay.
You take his gun.

SPEAKER_04 (22:08):
Yeah, I'm a I'm a very shook person with a gun
right now.
Take his shoes.
You wanna take anything else?
You searching them?

SPEAKER_07 (22:14):
I mean, other than the fact that yeah, we gotta
search him, but other than thefact that you like decapitated
him and made his uniform very, very gross.
Um you might want to put it onand look like one of them.

SPEAKER_02 (22:27):
Okay.
I I start undoing hisbulletproof vest and his uh I
assume he has a vest on.
He uh he has all the all the kityou would think that would be on
a uh I start undoing hisfatigues and everything, and uh
they're very bloody.

SPEAKER_04 (22:41):
They're very this is gross.
They're they're very bloody andtorn up.
Uh one of the straps on the uhbulletproof vest is a little
shredded, so it's kind ofhanging a little loose.
Um as you are taking his clothesoff and you know, searching his
body, you find a blue key card.
That's what we want.
Okay, I hand that sub-levelfour.

SPEAKER_02 (23:02):
There's four floors.
Okay.
Um here you go.

SPEAKER_07 (23:06):
I'll take the key card.

SPEAKER_02 (23:07):
Uh I'm going through the the rest of his belongings.
Um I just want to grab like uhhis spare ammo.
Um, if he has like some sortlike kind of store it wherever
you would store it.

SPEAKER_07 (23:18):
He said that was clear.

SPEAKER_04 (23:20):
Yeah, you check for ammo.
He has from what you can see tenrounds in the one that's in the
gun, probably plus one in thechamber.
Uh, and he has one extra in theuh the mag uh on his hip.
Okay.

SPEAKER_07 (23:34):
Um I'm gonna let you get dressed.
He said this floor is clear.

SPEAKER_02 (23:38):
I but I feel like they're gonna come for him.

SPEAKER_07 (23:41):
I'm gonna go in the nurse's station.
I've gotta take care of thisarm, I've gotta take care of
these burns and my feet and getthese shoes on.
So I'm gonna go do that whileyou're getting dressed.

SPEAKER_02 (23:52):
Okay.
Um I I kind of drag the body outof the stairwell in into the
like the main floor area, andI'm gonna start uh getting
dressed, kind of like off into acorner-ish, so that if someone
walks in, they wouldn't likeimmediately see me.

SPEAKER_07 (24:06):
Check him for water and any rations too.
Okay, okay, water, rations.

SPEAKER_04 (24:11):
He has no food or water.

SPEAKER_07 (24:13):
Any other weapons?

SPEAKER_04 (24:15):
Uh he has a sidearm on his ankle.
It's a small one six shooter.
I'll take that.
Five bullets and uh gun itself.
Okay.
Um I'll take that with me.

SPEAKER_07 (24:26):
I walk to go to the nurse's station.

SPEAKER_04 (24:29):
Uh, as he is on his way to the nursery station, you
hear Finch! Finch, check in.
Finch!

SPEAKER_02 (24:36):
Uh all clear.

SPEAKER_03 (24:39):
And uh and I like I do my best, I do my best to
imitate uh the guy that I heardmoments before I murdered him.

SPEAKER_04 (24:51):
Roll a D20.

SPEAKER_03 (24:53):
Oh no.

SPEAKER_08 (24:58):
Oh no.

SPEAKER_04 (25:00):
What is it?
That's a two.
Who who the fuck are you?
Where's Finch?
This is this is this is Finch.
Roll another D20.

SPEAKER_03 (25:09):
Over it's 13.

SPEAKER_04 (25:11):
Are you you sound a little sick?
You alright?

SPEAKER_00 (25:15):
All good.
Tell 'em, tell them they hit youwith an axe.
They they hit me with an axe.
I'm okay.
Target's down.

SPEAKER_04 (25:23):
We're sending Med up to evacu immediately.

SPEAKER_00 (25:26):
No, no, no, need.
I'm I'm coming down now.
Coming down now.
Over.

SPEAKER_04 (25:34):
Roll it easy.
No, no, don't come, don't comedown here.
We'll I'll come up to you.
I feel like it's just shut thefuck up.

SPEAKER_03 (25:53):
I feel like it's just shut the fuck up.
Hey, hey, uh, I think we shouldleave.
We gotta get out of here.
I think we should leave.

SPEAKER_07 (26:02):
I gotta grab everything that I know.
Uh I'm looking for any kind ofpainkiller, any kind of
antibiotic gauze, bandages.
Uh can I can I grab anything?

SPEAKER_02 (26:16):
While he does this, I I grab the walkie again.
I grab the walkie-talkie againand I go, they're overrunning
me! Going to the fourth floor! And I and I let it go.

SPEAKER_05 (26:26):
Um we're going to the fourth floor.

SPEAKER_02 (26:30):
Are we?
I thought we were trying to getout of here.
We just got a key card for asub-level, right?

SPEAKER_05 (26:34):
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_07 (26:35):
We gotta go down.

SPEAKER_02 (26:36):
Um, is there another stairwell that we know of?
Nothing.
Can I check the the map near thethe station?
Is there another stairwell?

SPEAKER_04 (26:42):
Do I know of one?
Uh you are over at the nursestation, correct?

SPEAKER_07 (26:48):
Yeah.

SPEAKER_04 (26:49):
Uh over there you find a standard map, same as the
one uh that you guys foundbefore, uh, showing all the
exits.
Uh there is an exit or astairwell to the top left.
So you'd be going like if youcame in from the bottom, top
left.

SPEAKER_02 (27:07):
I imagine there's there's gurneys around.

SPEAKER_04 (27:10):
There are gurneys.
There's also elevators to thedirect front from where the
stairwell you exited from.

SPEAKER_02 (27:17):
I'm going to hastily grab like gurneys or anything
that I can easily move in frontof the the stairwell door to try
and block it um while we go tothe other stairwell.
All right, actually.
Are you good?
Are you taking care of?

SPEAKER_04 (27:30):
Is uh patching himself up.
He found uh you knowanti-bacterial stuff.
He found stuff to debreed thewound.
Um he cut off the sleeve.
Um he also took the belt offthat you guys forgot to take
off.
Um it's harmless perfectly.

SPEAKER_07 (27:49):
It's already burnt to a crisp, isn't it?

SPEAKER_04 (27:52):
Yeah, but it's like in your like you know, when
something melts.
You were wearing a polyesterhoodie.
That's that's what you werewearing the security guard
outfit polyester.

SPEAKER_02 (28:05):
You're either gonna die of an infection or you're
gonna get superpowers.
One of the two.

SPEAKER_07 (28:09):
One of the two.

SPEAKER_02 (28:10):
So um, I I hastily put two gurnies in front of the
and in like a kid's chair infront of the door, and I like
stand back very proud.

SPEAKER_07 (28:19):
And I see you and holler out, what what's going
on?

SPEAKER_02 (28:22):
That'll hold them.

SPEAKER_07 (28:23):
What hold who?

SPEAKER_04 (28:26):
Them.
As you guys are sitting therequarreling, yeah.
The elevator at the end of theroom opens, and it looks like so
imagine an elevator, right?
Elevator opens, it's just astandard little elevator room,
and then behind on the back wallalso opens up.

(28:47):
And then a team of two medicalpeople carrying a little gurney
to walk out with, and also uhthe guy with a gun that kind of
looks similar to the guy thatyou took out with.

SPEAKER_02 (29:00):
Oh, I get down.

SPEAKER_07 (29:02):
Draw and shoot the guy with the gun.

SPEAKER_02 (29:04):
Yeah, while he does that, I duck down.

SPEAKER_07 (29:06):
I have a pistol, I'm a security.

SPEAKER_02 (29:12):
May your rules be better than mine.
Somehow.
I do the Steve Martin thing uhfrom Pink Panther where he's
doing all the work and I'm justkind of making moves in the
background.
Not a reference to anything thathas happened today.

SPEAKER_04 (29:33):
You somehow get dude in the neck.
This is gonna be bad.
I did not.
It was I get it.
I get it.
You get it, you get him in theneck, he drops.
Uh the two uh medical peoplepull guns on you.

SPEAKER_02 (29:48):
Gotta fire.
Uh I I at this point um I take ashot.
Roll uh, roll uh, rollsomething.

SPEAKER_07 (29:55):
Who?
Both of us?

SPEAKER_04 (29:56):
Yep.
You're both.
Engaged in combat at the currentmoment, so fifteen.
Okay, look, you get hit in yourleft arm.
Oh, come on.

SPEAKER_02 (30:10):
I got four.

SPEAKER_03 (30:14):
Ain't no way, bro.
It's the same dice.

SPEAKER_06 (30:16):
Judging by how you're telling this story, I'm
gonna get hit again now.

SPEAKER_03 (30:22):
My bad rolls get you shot.
What the f what is happeningwith this dice?

SPEAKER_04 (30:29):
I almost did.
I was almost like Alex, you gethit in your lumbar.
Uh Eric, uh, you get grazed.

SPEAKER_02 (30:40):
I very dramatically and without any technique, just
like throw myself up and go, ah,and and shoot randomly.

SPEAKER_04 (30:50):
Roll.

SPEAKER_02 (30:51):
Oh no, that that was that was what I was what he did.
That was what I did.

SPEAKER_04 (30:55):
Oh.

SPEAKER_03 (30:56):
That's why I got grazed.

SPEAKER_04 (30:58):
Uh yeah, no, you uh you managed to slightly clip
them in the thigh, but it likeit was like nothing.
Um and you get uh clipped inyour hip.

SPEAKER_03 (31:10):
I I fall.
I've been shot!

SPEAKER_07 (31:12):
I've got I've got three more rounds.
And did I hit my guy at least?
Uh yes.
Jeez, I hit I rolled a 15.

SPEAKER_04 (31:23):
How does how did I get shot?

SPEAKER_06 (31:25):
Listen, and I get nothing in return.
And I got grave.

SPEAKER_04 (31:29):
You hit him, you hit him in the shoulder.
Uh they drop the one on theright drops their gun.

SPEAKER_07 (31:35):
I gotta I gotta shoot the other guy now because
Eric is down over on the other.

SPEAKER_02 (31:39):
I'm on the ground.
I've been hit! I've been hit.

SPEAKER_07 (31:44):
Do I gotta roll again?

SPEAKER_04 (31:47):
Roll again.
I still have the joint in mymouth, by the way.

SPEAKER_06 (31:52):
11.

SPEAKER_04 (31:54):
Alex, you get shot in your left arm again.
Of course I did.
But you managed to take out thelast guy.
Um let's stand up, let's beclear.
But I shoot I shoot Alex's leftarm.
One one dude is on the groundbleeding from his shoulder, one
dude is dead.
So uh I am going up to the city.

(32:14):
Dude is not a threat at thecurrent moment, but yeah.
You get a double tap.

SPEAKER_07 (32:20):
Maybe we question him.
Maybe you we question him first.
Who who are you?
What are you doing here?
Do I recognize this guy?

SPEAKER_04 (32:30):
Uh, you do not recognize this guy.

SPEAKER_07 (32:33):
So that's my that's my line of questioning.
Who are you?
What are you doing here?
Why are you trying to kill us?

SPEAKER_02 (32:38):
While he's interrogating him, I'm standing
over him trying to look realtough with the AR.

SPEAKER_07 (32:43):
After you just screamed in the hallway.

SPEAKER_02 (32:45):
I bet I'm standing over him trying to look all
tough.

SPEAKER_04 (32:51):
He's like listen, you can't you can't let them
out.
We we're in lockdown.

SPEAKER_01 (33:01):
What do you mean?

SPEAKER_04 (33:02):
What are they?
I'm not the doctor would knowthat.
I don't know that.
I'm just I'm just a medivac.

SPEAKER_07 (33:08):
And why are you trying to kill us?
We're not infected.
Didn't you shoot first?

SPEAKER_02 (33:15):
Yeah, sidebar.

SPEAKER_07 (33:17):
I I pull you over.
We did shoot first.
No, no, no.
That other guy tried to kill us.
We asked for help, and he triedto kill us.
And in response, they send theseguys.
You're right, you're right.
I turn back around.
That's not what happened.
Yeah, we shot you guys first, but you were gonna kill us.

SPEAKER_02 (33:37):
Yeah.
Where's Finch?
Okay, you you see this?
I show him I show him my head.
This is you guys.
It's not even like booming thatmuch.

SPEAKER_03 (33:49):
It's just a scrape.

SPEAKER_07 (33:51):
Finch is dead.
Finch is dead.
He tried to kill us.

SPEAKER_02 (33:57):
Yeah, I killed him.

SPEAKER_07 (33:59):
So we took him out.

SPEAKER_02 (34:00):
Actually, I don't know if you son of a bitch! One
of us pulls a gun out of us.

SPEAKER_04 (34:07):
Roll of dice.

SPEAKER_06 (34:08):
Come on, I'm standing over him with my gun
still in my hand.
You're gonna make me roll forthis?

SPEAKER_04 (34:14):
It's a surprise.

SPEAKER_02 (34:15):
I gotta agree.
I gotta agree.
A seven.
I feel like you should getadvantage.
Advantage?
Yeah.
You're telling me this guy'sgonna pull a gun when Alcat
actively has a gun pulled onhim.

SPEAKER_04 (34:30):
You have advantage.
I say you can roll again.

SPEAKER_00 (34:37):
That did not have a three.
It was a seven, and now it's athree.

SPEAKER_04 (34:43):
Alex shot in the left arm.
Alex, you get shot in your leftarm, but you should end up
ending the guy.
Point blank.
Uh you have one bullet left, don't you?
Yes.

SPEAKER_02 (34:57):
I have what?
I have eight bullets left.

SPEAKER_07 (35:02):
Fuck.
Okay.
Check all of them.
This guy had a gun.
Yeah.
I need more ammo.

SPEAKER_02 (35:10):
I'm gonna take the other guy's sidearm and ammo.
Alright, so you you you take theuh team?
Yeah, I'll take the othermedical guy who I assume had a
handgun.

SPEAKER_07 (35:23):
I won't take a rifle.
I can't handle a rifle.
I got no left arm.
You take his ammo though, because they probably are using
the same ammo.

SPEAKER_02 (35:30):
I'll I'll take the if it's the same rifle ammo,
I'll take the rifle ammo andI'll hand you the handgun ammo.
But I'm I'm gonna keep a handgunfrom the medical team.
If there's like two, I assumeeach one had a handgun.
Is that correct?

SPEAKER_04 (35:45):
Each of them have the exact same stuff as they
okay.

SPEAKER_02 (35:48):
I'll take a handgun and I'll take like two mags of
ammo, but I'll give the restover to Alex.

SPEAKER_07 (35:54):
And check the other guard for a sidearm matching my
pistol.

SPEAKER_02 (35:58):
Wait, does it match?

SPEAKER_04 (36:00):
Or is the ammo at least the same?
Uh you check his ankle.
It's not the same uh same uh,you know, kit.
You didn't have a gun.
Same ammo?
Doesn't have a gun there.
Oh, okay.

SPEAKER_07 (36:12):
Okay.
Now I gotta patch up thesebullet wounds.
Do you feel I'm in agony?
I'm tough.
Don't worry about me.
You got me high.

SPEAKER_02 (36:24):
Yeah.
It's strong stuff.

SPEAKER_04 (36:26):
It's from Colorado.
It's like I don't feel anything.

unknown (36:31):
You know.

SPEAKER_04 (36:32):
Is he feeling it?

SPEAKER_07 (36:33):
The problem is that I'm already burnt to a crisp.
I'm pretty sure if it was itsounded like that would be third
degree burns.
My nerves are completely shot.
I'm barely feeling anything inmy left arm.

SPEAKER_04 (36:44):
Is he bleeding?
Uh he's he's bleeding.
Um I don't think he feels itthough.
Uh it's it's they're pretty deepburns.
They're rapid probably.

SPEAKER_07 (36:54):
But like I need you to check me if these three shots
are through and through.

SPEAKER_02 (37:00):
Okay.
Uh I look.
Are they through and through?
They're all through and through.

unknown (37:04):
Okay.

SPEAKER_07 (37:05):
So you're good.
All I gotta do is stop thebleeding.
So we need some get your belt.
We need some co- I got this.
We need some uh blood clottinggauze, which they would have.

SPEAKER_02 (37:21):
Does the medical team have that have that on
them?
I assume they would.

SPEAKER_07 (37:26):
They should have a full kit.

SPEAKER_04 (37:27):
They came to Yeah, there's there's a there's a
medical bag next to the gurneythat they're carrying.

SPEAKER_02 (37:33):
Okay, I take I take the kit, I put one of the kit,
one of the kits in my backpack, and then I open up the other
kit, um, and I start kind ofrummaging through stuff, but I
don't really know what any ofthis is.

SPEAKER_07 (37:44):
I need you to look for morphine.
It would be an injection.
They should have a syringe andthey should have a vial.
There's two.
And if it says morphine on it, Iwant to use that.

SPEAKER_02 (37:58):
I look at I look at the vials, I find the morphine.
Um I put I put the syringe intoit.
I assume this is how morphineworks, and I I pull some out.
Okay.
Morphine.
Okay.
Hold on to that.

SPEAKER_04 (38:18):
Mm-hmm.
Turns out it wasn't morphine, itwas fent.

SPEAKER_02 (38:23):
Turns out it wasn't morphine, it was porphine.

SPEAKER_04 (38:27):
Alex is currently leaning on the corner of a gas
station right now.

SPEAKER_05 (38:33):
That's exactly what would happen.
So are you being serious though?

SPEAKER_04 (38:36):
Is it No, it's it's you you do find morphine.
Uh you also find uh a clottingagent and more gauze.
So I do my best couple tampons.

SPEAKER_07 (38:49):
Clot the I I do my best to stop the bleeding, wrap
it.
We're on the move here.
We gotta do something.
Um I I have to inject myselfwith this morphine.

SPEAKER_02 (39:02):
Yeah, I hand that to you.
I don't like needles.

SPEAKER_07 (39:05):
And do I have to roll for that?
Or am I good?

SPEAKER_04 (39:10):
You inject it, it goes in.
Um you're feeling it.
It's uh it feels good.
It feels great.

SPEAKER_07 (39:17):
My reaction times are gonna be slower, so you're
gonna have to pay attention toit.

SPEAKER_04 (39:23):
But now your lips are numb.

SPEAKER_07 (39:24):
Now now I'm in agony, but I don't care.
Yeah, you so what I what we needto do now is check the rest of
these guys for their cards.
They should have securityclearances, they should have
some key cards.
Let's strip them and see whatthey've got.

SPEAKER_04 (39:42):
Uh looking for that.
Uh you find on the Medivac guy,you one of them, you find an
access card to level one.
You also find another one uh touh sub-level one on the other
guy.

SPEAKER_02 (39:57):
Okay.

SPEAKER_04 (39:58):
Um on the gunman, you find a access card to
sublevel three.

SPEAKER_02 (40:03):
Okay, we're taking it.
We take a sub-level.
What's the other card we had?
Sorry.
Was that sub-level four?

SPEAKER_04 (40:10):
Sub-level four, you have a sub-level three and two
sub-level ones.

SPEAKER_07 (40:14):
Okay.
And now, thankfully, I'vealready taken the morphine and
it's already kicked in becausenow I'm going to cause myself
great distress.
I have to put on thatbulletproof vest.

SPEAKER_02 (40:26):
I was gonna say, are you gonna put on the other guy's
gear?

SPEAKER_07 (40:29):
I have to slide my arm in there, which is going to
hurt like hell, but at least Iwon't care.

SPEAKER_02 (40:34):
I help you.
Um, do they have helmets by anychance?
Or like anything that kind ofobstructs the face?
Yes.
Let's put those that on.
We are now these people.

SPEAKER_04 (40:46):
Yeah, you you already had it on, Eric.
You put on all the dude's gear.
Oh.
Cool.
Um, so Alex, he does the same.
Uh that's why it was crazy.
You got just you chop dudes'head off somehow.
It's crazy.

SPEAKER_07 (41:01):
What what I'm what I'm guessing is are they wearing
uh are they wearing gas masks atall?
Uh respirators.

SPEAKER_04 (41:09):
They they are wearing respirators and there
are like clear goggles over theeyes uh to block blood splatter.

SPEAKER_07 (41:19):
We gotta put those on too.
We do that.
And the the next thing is uh isthe gunman was he wearing a um
like a coat or just like a longsleeve shirt or what was he what
was he in?

SPEAKER_04 (41:38):
He had a tank top, he had a black t-shirt.

SPEAKER_07 (41:42):
That was it, just a black t-shirt.

SPEAKER_04 (41:44):
Yeah, black long sleeve t-shirt.

SPEAKER_07 (41:48):
Uh long sleeve.

SPEAKER_04 (41:49):
Yes.

SPEAKER_07 (41:50):
So I'm going to put that on uh before I put the vest
on.
I'm gonna put that long sleeveshirt on, but I'm not going to
put my arm in the sleeve.
I'm going to pin my arm and kindof uh my hand is jacked up,
isn't it?
Because my my whole arm all theway down to my fingertips are

(42:12):
burnt.

SPEAKER_04 (42:14):
Uh there's there's some spots that aren't um like
near your hand area, but youknow, there's still a little bit
of spiciness on your hand.

SPEAKER_07 (42:24):
Okay.
I'm not going to wrap like fullywrap my arm.
These are third degree burns.
So wrapping is gonna actuallyno, I should.
I should wrap them because it'sit's prone to infection at this
point.
So how much polyester is stillstuck on me?

SPEAKER_04 (42:43):
Uh you managed to get about 85% of it out with the
uh the stuff you found at thenursing station.

SPEAKER_07 (42:50):
Okay.
Uh is there is there any benefitto me searching their medical
