They leave it looking brand new.
It's it's just fantastic.

(00:43):
And they leave it looking likethey were never there.
That's what you want from a treecare company, and that's what
they do, that's what they do.
Badger tree care there withTrevor Barr.
So, Amher is here.
Umer, how are we doing on thisWednesday?

SPEAKER_01 (00:57):
I'm not too bad, man.
I'm not too bad.
I'm just getting over a coldright now.
So if you guys hear a littlecoughing, a little nasliness, a
little whatever, I apologize inadvance.
But I am looking forward toThanksgiving tomorrow.
I'm looking forward to the game.
I'm looking forward to trying tostuff in my face, either from a
gluttonous perspective of avictory or a loss.
Either way, I'm gonna stuff mybelly.

(01:18):
And I'm doing otherwise nowpretty good, man.
I'm just uh good news.
I think I've finally finishedeverything for my bachelor's uh
today and yesterday.
So I am hope will be done withmy bachelor's finally after like
25 years.
So I'm really excited aboutthat.
And so yeah, pretty good, man.
How are you doing?

SPEAKER_02 (01:36):
I don't, I was I was just gonna try and find a uh I
don't have any clapping.
Um I was gonna see if I had aclapping tune that I could play
in the background there forcongratulations! There you go.
Congratulations.
That is awesome to hear.
We're doing great, we're doinggreat.
Thanksgiving right around thecorner, like you said.
How are you spending it?
How are you spendingThanksgiving?

(01:57):
Are you in charge?
Is somebody else in charge?

SPEAKER_01 (01:59):
Oh, someone else is in charge, someone else is
always in charge.
My wife's family goes prettymuch.
You are lucky, my friend.

SPEAKER_02 (02:05):
You are lucky.

SPEAKER_01 (02:06):
I just have to show up, I have to assist in any way
I can.
I have to make sure that my wifehas everything she needs to cook
whatever dish she's making ortwo dishes she's making, and
then just be there for moralsupport because they know that
when the football games turn on,I kind of get like very like
anti-social.
So and then when the Packers areplaying, I'm really anti-social.
So yeah, so um, but yeah, wealways have it at one of her

(02:26):
cousins' houses or we host, andso this year we're at going to
their house.
So we're looking forward to it.
So it's always a good time.

SPEAKER_02 (02:32):
It's always good when somebody's in charge of the
cooking.
That's all it matters.
Christian and I were justtalking about it, and you know,
he's got he's got hisThanksgiving that he's got to go
to.
He's in charge of the turkey.
I got mine.
We have ours going over to mywife's family's, and then uh
we're doing a little thing onSaturday there, and I'm making
the turkey, and it's like I saidI would do it.
I felt confident at first, andthen the more I think about it
and the more I talk about it,it's like that's the main thing.

(02:55):
Like, that's the main course.
Like, you screw this up, you'redone.
Like, that's it.
You just screwed up everybody'sday.

SPEAKER_01 (03:01):
Like, that's everyone knows, everyone knows
and never forget.

SPEAKER_02 (03:05):
Right, right.
It's like, oh, this is okay, okay, okay.
So it's my fault now.
All right, whatever.

SPEAKER_01 (03:10):
I guess you'll never come in again.

SPEAKER_02 (03:11):
Yeah, whatever.
I'm not, I'm not gonna show up.
This is why I stay antisocialand I sit on the couch and watch
sports.
This is why I don't talk toanybody.
So, anyways, whatever.
This is why I don't let you overto my house, either way.
So, so, anyways, I'm glad tohear it's gonna be a good
Thanksgiving for you and yours.
And okay, so let's talk Packershere.
And if anybody wants to chimeinto the Packer talk, make sure
you're doing it.

(03:31):
715-990-4914.
That is 715-990-4914.
I'd love to hear your guys'thoughts coming off the Vikings
game, looking ahead to the Lionsgame.
Impressions on the Packers, aswe've seen as of late.
Let's talk about that impressionthat we got off of that Vikings
game because I don't know why.
But there was so many, and I canI can't even count on my phone

(03:53):
calculator adding up like number111 plus one, you know, just
keep going on the numbers.
I can't add up how many peoplewere like depressed with this
win because it wasn't enough,right?
Because they look at the statbook and they say, okay, well,
Jordan Love only threw for 139yards, and you know, this and
that, and it's like you, youonly, you know, it's 23 to 6, it

(04:13):
wasn't crazy impressive.
I I'm gonna go, I don't know ifyou like the opposite of this,
and say, I like the win.
It was a solid win.
The defense showed out, which iswhat you want, and honestly, you
want me to be honest with you,you want it like the like a uh
team that knocked you out of theplayoffs last year and went to

(04:33):
the Super Bowl.
Like they win football games.
Defense, offense has just got tobe there.
Sometimes you don't need theoffense to do a lot, sometimes
you just need the offense to begood enough, and that's what
they were on this day.
The run game was working, thedefense was carrying.
Why do anything more?
Like everybody just wants I andI do two at times.
I'm not gonna lie.

(04:54):
I do two.
I want to see Jordan Love justopen it up.
I do.
At times, I just want to see himgo crazy.
I want to see him throw, youknow, just just make some plays,
like we know he can, right?
Absolutely, but other times Ijust want to see the Packers win
football games and go awaywinning.
That's all I want.
And this was a game where theywon.
And yet we still have peoplecoming off this, like, not

(05:14):
impressed, they weren't enough.
Matt LaFleur, this, he doesn'tknow how to work Jordan Love.
Jordan Love's not a goodquarterback.
Why do the Packers think thatthey have a franchise
quarterback with this guy whenhe's not?
The Bears quarterbacksituation's better.
Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
And you see it all over theplace.
Ummer, why?
I mean, let's just okay, let'sstart there.
Were you impressed coming off?
Were you?
I mean, you don't have to sayimpressed.

(05:34):
I don't need to like impressive56 to 3.
Not not impressed, but youweren't like let down.
Like this wasn't a let-downgame.
You were fine coming off it, andit's a little over people to be
depressed, I guess, or like sadcoming off this game.

SPEAKER_01 (05:52):
I I think that I was actually I was very impressed
with the win because that was ateam that's that swept us last
year, that uh had our number theyear before.
Uh last year they swept, yeah, last year they swept us, the
year before we tied with them, right?
And I'm sorry, like we went oneand five in the division last
year.
So in that game, I saw us dowhat a lot of people were

(06:14):
complaining was like run theball, but it was successful
running the ball.
Emmanuel Wilson Sr.
looked absolutely amazing.
We had complimentary football onall three phases for once, which
Pisache guys flowers for once, and defense played lights out.
And I think there's a lot offans out there like, well, they
should have scored 40 or this orthat or whatever.
And I'm like, those fans arejust never gonna be happy
because of the day, what yousaid at the beginning of the

(06:35):
show is exactly what it is a W.
That's all I care is win thegame and keep it moving because
all this is window dressing.
When you get to the playoffs, again, if we win the playoff
games like this, too, I don'tcare.
End of the day, it doesn'tmatter.
I mean, I remember when we wentto the NFC Championship game,
and Rogers threw what he had onetouchdown, two picks, we ran a

(06:55):
touchdown, and his numbers werehorrible in the NFC Championship
game, right?
And but did we get to a SuperBowl?
Yes, we did.
I think there are just some fansout there just never happy, and
and there's a lot of folks thatcome into the Twitter sphere
lately have like just complainedand complained because they like
to feed into the negativity ofeverything.
For me, that was an amazinggame.

(07:16):
I think that the questions wehad on defense were answered.
I think Jordan left shoulderinjury was probably a lot worse
than we were we think it was,and that's why they probably
kind of pulled back on thepassing.
But when he had to make hisplays, he made his plays.
From a fantasy perspective, Iwish Jordan had thrown a couple
touchdowns to help me win acouple games.
Absolutely, I do.
But at the end of the day, I'm aPacker fan first, and I'll take

(07:39):
that.
And I had Emmanuel Wilson go inas many leagues as I can get
him, and he he showed out forme.
But what I think what you noticeis Packer fans, they're just
fans out there that complain andcomplain.
Nothing is ever good enough.
And the sad thing is if Jordanhad through four touchdowns and
they lost the game, they wouldhave been mad about that too,
right?
And they put 40 on the on theboard or they put 20 or they put

(08:00):
23, end of the day, W is allthat matters.
And I think like what that gamereminded me of is a lot of what
Tom Bray used to do in hiscareer, right?
There were times where he didn'thave gaudy numbers, right?
But he he he leaned on his rungame, he leaned on his defense,
and he would churn out wins, right?
And while that dude eventuallygot seven Super Bowls, some with
the ashes, I'll say, but end ofthe day, he still did it.

(08:22):
And I think like we finally havea quarterback who doesn't have
to be the main guy to get a W.
And as much as I love Rogers,I'm not a Rogers hater, there
were times I felt like you knowhe would want to put the team on
his back no matter what, and notjust take the layups and not
take the easy ways out to get avictory, right?

SPEAKER_02 (08:39):
Right, and you look at the second half for the
Vikings.
What did you want?
I mean, you had a punt, punt, three plays.
This is this is the second halffor the Minnesota Vikings, third
quarter.
So it started out, the Packerspunt and ended up getting the
ball back anyways.
And then they had the touchdown, and then punt, the Vikings had a
three and out.
Then the next drive, punt, threeand out.

(08:59):
Next drive for the Vikings, three and out, punt.
Then they threw the interceptionon the first play of the drive
in their next drive, and thenthe next one they threw an
interception after five plays.
Why do you want to push theball?
Where do you want to push theball to?
Like what your defense iscarrying, you're just fine.
You're you're walking this game.
Why force anything?
The only thing that could havegone wrong in that one was

(09:21):
Jordan Love tried to force theissue and try to put up numbers
and threw some picks and gave upsome good yardage for Minnesota
and put him in a good spot.

SPEAKER_01 (09:29):
Yep.

SPEAKER_02 (09:29):
The Packers they they won the game how they were
supposed to.
This was a team JJ McCarthyhasn't been feeling it.
We've seen that now.
He's out with concussion.
Hopefully, you know, he getswell.
I don't know what happenedbecause yeah, just weird, a
weird thing, but I mean, hopefully, hopefully
everything's fine with him.
Yeah, but I mean, the run gamewas going for you.
Why force anything?
Why?
I mean, there's no reason in agame like this.

(09:52):
And let's so let's go there.
The defense stepping up, yeah.
In this game, the second half.
I mean, the first half, I wasokay, you got to play it by
halves because the first half Igot a little nervous because I
said to myself, they're allowingthe one thing that the Vikings
can do is run the football, they're allowing them to do the
one thing that they need to doto win this game, and that's
control the run game.
I got worried, yeah.
And then the second half camearound, they figured that out.

(10:14):
Let's kind of start there.
So, what impressed you, I guess,in the second half?
They kind of stepped up in thatrun game there and were able to
get some stops.
What impressed you in thatsecond half there that they kind
of switched it up for the first?

SPEAKER_01 (10:24):
I think when the Packers got enough lead, they
just put their ears back andthey were like, Hey, we're not
scared of McCarthy.
We're not scared what he's gonnado.
And look, we lost Nixon by himliterally running into Devontae
wide on the sideline and thenfalling over.
And Devontae could have or catchhim, but no, he just stood there
and let him get hit.
And like now, his neck andstingers, he got his, you know,
he's he's limited participanttoday in practice or yesterday

(10:46):
in practice.
So uh I'm hoping that he couldplay.
But Kamal Hayden came in andplayed well.
I think what we noticed in thesecond half was they were able
to lock in on Aaron Jones andJordan Mason, they were able to
make them one-dimensional.
And even though Kamal Hayden, who had had zero snaps on
defense, if you go back and lookat his tape and look at all his
snaps, he was playing well.

(11:06):
Like he was he was playing inthe face of uh multiple times in
Jefferson, Naylor, Addison, andthen when he when they would
break off, he was able to staywith them in coverage.
He looked good.
Like, I I know we have NateHobbs, I know we have other
guys.
I think C V is a starter nomatter what, and I think you
know Nixon's a starter too.
But I think Kamal Hayden shouldget some snaps.
He should be out there playingbecause he looked good.

(11:28):
And I I have no confidence inhate and Nate Hobbs right now.
I don't know if he'll ever beable to be the guy we thought he
was going to be, but Idefinitely did see uh Kamal
Hayden look amazing.
I thought Isaiah McDuffie playedextremely well.
I think the way they were ableto find out that JJ McCarthy was
not that guy is what made themfeel like, hey, we can basically
do whatever we want.
And they did.

SPEAKER_02 (11:49):
Yeah, yeah, and that's that's what you wanted to
see.
We talked about it going in,putting pressure on JJ McCarthy,
and that's exactly what thePackers did.
Exactly what we needed them todo.
They did it in this one.
I completely agree with youthere.
Um, it they talked about Haddona little bit.
I saw, I think it was Halfleywas talking about him a little
bit, and he said they've beenlooking for ways to get him in.
I don't know if it's Halfley orLaFleur, I'm not 100% sure which

(12:09):
one it was.
But either way, one of those twowas saying they've been looking
for ways to get him into therotation a little bit, and this
just gave him in a bad way, gavethem the ability to get him into
there.
The Nate Hobbs thing, you know,I was listening, I can't
remember who it was, if it wasAndy Herman was talking with the
guy today or who it was, butthey they kind of said it great.
They said, you know, the Packersare always looking to try to

(12:29):
find versatile guys, they aren'tlooking for a certain thing,
they're looking for versatileguys, and I think that's what
they were thinking they weregetting in Nate Hobbs was a guy
who could go inside, outside.
The problem was you didn'treally need that.
You had Davian Bullard at thenickel, you didn't need another
guy.
So it's like it it was youshould have grabbed depth at the
corner spot, if anything, toplay on the outside, a veteran

(12:51):
or whatever it was, not an youknow, not a guy that you were
looking, oh, because he'sversatile.
That's that's where the Packerskind of run into the issue, I
guess, all the time is theyalways want that versatile guy.
So defense stepped up, a certainplayer stepped up, like you
said, Isaiah McDuffie steps upbig, filling in for Quay.
We saw Haddon step up big, wesaw Emmanuel Wilson step up big

(13:13):
for Josh Jacobs in that one.
So you love to see all that kindof stuff there.
Before I gotta let you go,because I know you're feeling
under the weather, so I don'twant to keep you for too
stinking long here tonight.
But right now, where does thisPacker team sit in the North for
you?
I kind of talked about itearlier.
I talked about, you know, Bearsfans and everything, you know,
complaining because they're notgetting respect off their name.

(13:36):
Where does this team sit for youright now in the north?
The Lions are right there, theBears are up top.
Where does this team sit for youright now?
The eye test, as you've seen.

SPEAKER_01 (13:44):
I think that I think the Packers are proving to
everybody that they're the kindof team that can find ways to
win no matter what.
They are starting to find someconsistency from game to game
from the Giants to this game.
I think them figuring out a wayto handle uh Aaron Banks because
he doesn't practice the gamebefore the game, so they kind of
rest him, and that actually hasbeen working out well.
Putting Anthony Belton at rightguard, which you and me have

(14:05):
both talked about, worked outfantastic.
I think they need to stick withthat.
I think they need to stop withthe rotation for Jordan Morgan.
I think if anything, maybe yourotate Morgan on a left tackle.
Yeah, and just start getting himsnaps over there.
I feel like this team right nowhas a chance to possibly get the
division back after multipleyears of not winning it.
I think the Bears, people willhype up the Bears, but at the
end of the day, the Bears'defense is giving up on average,

(14:28):
like anywhere between like 30like 24 to like 30, 42 points a
game.
They don't I mean they theybarely beat the Vikings and they
had JJ McCarthy, right?
And I'm not impressed by theBears, and they have a negative
six point differential when itcomes to all their wins and
losses.
And this is the gauntlet oftheir schedule.
Like they play the PhiladelphiaEagles on Friday, on Friday,

(14:49):
Black Friday.
I can't wait to see that game.
And yeah, Detroit Lions, youknow, they're they are uh a
force to be reckoned with onoffense, but again, they had to
go to overtime against theGiants in home.
Like when we played them, weplayed them in New York, and we
were able to beat them, but theyliterally had to take them to
overtime to beat them in theirown stadium.
So again, I think their defenseis still not where it needs to

(15:10):
be.
I think that you're starting tosee some cracks in the offensive
line that was very much like aone of the top three offensive
lines in the league, and you'retrying to see some cracks there.
Um, not really impressed withthose two teams, and of course
the Vikings on the Vikings,right?
They mortgaged their future forJJ McCarthy seems like that was
a bad decision, and they'reprobably gonna be probably right

(15:32):
down the bottom for the visionthis year, from things.
I think I like I like the chancefor the Packers.
I think that getting Jaden Reedback, hopefully, this week, us
getting our guys back at theright time for the final run
stretch is gonna be really key.
And I'm not gonna lie, MicahParsons, he looked like a man
possessed, and if he can keepthat up for the remainder of the

(15:52):
season into the playoffs, watchout.

SPEAKER_02 (15:55):
Yeah, no, there's been a lot of social media
chatter with Micah Parsons and alot of well-known analysts and
every reporters, everything likethat.
So he's definitely getting alittle fuel to the fire at this
very moment.
I would agree, I would agreecompletely.
You know, the the Bears, I don'tlike the Bears.
I've said this before, I don'tlike the Bears.
But if they do go to Philly andthey win that game, and they do

(16:17):
go to Lambeau and they win thatgame, not gonna win, right?
We don't want that, but notgonna win.
But if they do go and do thosethings, okay, now we have a
conversation.
Now we have a conversation, butuntil you do those things, you
will forever still be pegged asthe team who has barely beat the
Steelers without airliners, barely beat this team, barely
beat that team.
That's where this team is atright now.

(16:39):
It's not that anybody doesn'tsee the record and say, well,
they're playing good football,right?
They're playing good football.
It's just is the eye test thereenough to say that they're going
to play this kind of footballconsistently and being able to
beat somebody at their best, beable to beat a good team at
their best.
That's what we're gonna find outwith the Eagles because that is
a very good team who knows howto win ugly.

(16:59):
And I wish Packer fans, I wishwe would accept that because
that's what this game was.
23 to 6 wasn't even ugly, ugly.
But look at the if the Eaglesdid two weeks in a row.
Yes, beat the Lions, beat thePackers.
Both games, 10 to 7 and what 13to 6?
Like, what was the what was thesecond?
Oh, like that was like 13 to 6,wasn't it?
It was ugly.
It was an ugly game, but theywon.
And a win's a win, as we'retalking about with the Bears,

(17:21):
too.
A win's a win.
But the way that they're winninggames, just shutting teams down,
just shutting teams downoffensively and just doing
enough offensively, sometimesthat's all you gotta do.
So I mean, yeah, but we're gonnasee what they do.
We're gonna see what the Packersdo here coming up on
Thanksgiving against the Lions, and then we're gonna see what
the uh Bears do against Eaglescoming up on Friday.

SPEAKER_01 (17:41):
I'm looking for both of those guys.

SPEAKER_02 (17:42):
I think that's gonna be some good stuff.

SPEAKER_01 (17:43):
Yeah, all the games on Thursday and Friday are
amazing, man.

SPEAKER_02 (17:46):
I can't wait.
They're gonna be fine.
I can't wait.
There's gonna be some goodstuff.
Great stuff there uh across theNFL slate.

So we're talking about thePackers a little bit.
We wrapped up what we sawagainst the Vikings there, kind
of like our impressions, whypeople were a little.

(20:03):
It's just too many people, toomany people down about a solid
win by the Green Bay Packers.
So that was definitely somethingI wanted to talk about there,
which we did in that last littlesection.
Now we look ahead.
Lions coming up here tomorrow,Thursday, Thanksgiving.
A big one there.
This is a Lions team, you beatthem opening week of the season
there, or opening well, openinggame of the season, right?

(20:26):
For this Packers team, you beatthem there at home, 27 to 13.
A good win to start the year.
But now this is a little bitdifferent of a test.
You go on the road, it'sThanksgiving.
You got it.
You embarrassed them last yearon Thanksgiving.
This is a solid team.
They're seven and four.
They're third.
They're third in the North.
I believe they're outside theplayoff picture right now, if

(20:46):
you looked at it.
But like I said, all the wayaround, Jared Goff is still
playing some good football.
Jameer Gibbs has been fantasticfor him there.
They still have the one-twopunch of him and David
Montgomery.
And then you look across on thedefense, Jack Campbell has
played great for him there thisseason.
Jack Campbell, the linebacker.
Isn't he?
I believe he's out of Iowa.
Yeah, he's out of Iowa there.
So I thought I was like, hesounds like a he sounds like

(21:08):
he's the guy, yeah, sounds likethe guy out of Iowa.
So Jack Campbell has beenfantastic.
Ancelone's been great.
The back end of that defense isgood.
This is gonna be a game whereyou're gonna have to let Jordan
Love go at it a little bit.
But it's gonna be a very, veryhingent on what is Josh Jacobs?
Is he back in the lineup?
Is he gonna be there for thePackers?

(21:30):
He's gonna be back in thebackfield.
And then how do they split thatload between him and Emmanuel
Wilson, who looked good lastweek there for this team for the
Green Bay Packers?
So we'll see kind of what theydo with that running back spot.
This thing is gonna be keepJordan Love upright, keep the
pocket clean, let him make theplays.
Is Matthew Golden back?
Do you can you get yourplaymakers involved like
Christian Watson?
This is a different, this is adifferent game, right?

(21:50):
Tucker Kraft was there week one.
You also had Sam Laporta there.
Week one for the uh for theLions.
You're not gonna have to seeeither one of those guys in this
game.
So it's a different game.
Don't look back at week one andsay, okay, this is what's gonna
happen again.
Completely differentcircumstance, completely
different game in this one here.
Should be a good one there fromFord Field.
Fantastic one coming up onThanksgiving.
So we're gonna hit a break.

(22:10):
We're gonna come back here.
Kyle's gonna stop by.
We're gonna talk some buckshere, and then we're gonna talk
some NFL, and we're gonna getout of here for the day.
We'll be right back here onWisconsin Sports on the Go with
Trage.
Kyle's gonna be stopping by.
We're gonna talk some gettinginto sports on the go with
trade.
I'm your host, Trage, as we comeback here on this Wednesday.
And hey, this next segment, Kyleis stopping by.
We're gonna talk a little bucks.

(22:31):
We're gonna talk a little NFLhere as we get to the end of the
show.
This next segment is brought toyou by BH Concrete Lifting.
Are you tired of tripping oversunken driveways, patios, or
sidewalks with BH concretelifting?
You can ditch the trip hazardswithout breaking the bank on new
concrete and have it leveled forless than half the cost.
I don't know what more I have tosay.

(22:51):
Less than half the cost of newconcrete to stop you from
tripping, stop from that shovelgetting driven into your gut
because you're pushing alongthere and it just comes back and
hits you.
You didn't expect it.
You're on the driveway, you'recrying, it's a whole thing.
We got snow coming.
Make sure you're getting thatdriveway leveled out before you
get that.
And that is with our friendsdown there at BH concrete
lifting.

(23:11):
So, Kyle is here.
Kyle, how are we doing on thisWednesday?

SPEAKER_00 (23:17):
Oh, I'm I'm great.
Uh, you know, it's Thanksgivingweek, which is always a kind of
a pillar moment in the NFLseason.
Uh, NBA is is definitely wellunderway, so a lot to watch
these days.
Feast week.

SPEAKER_02 (23:33):
It's feast week, Kyle.
That's all we need to know.
ESPN sells as feast week for usthere.
So, what are the plans, Kyle?
What are the plans forThanksgiving?
Are you cooking?
Is somebody else cooking?
What are the plans forThanksgiving?

SPEAKER_00 (23:45):
Usually with the family, you know, mom cooks.

SPEAKER_02 (23:49):
Mom cooks.
That's always good though.
Like, let somebody else have thepressure of cooking.
Christian and I were talkingabout it earlier.
He was talking about he's got tomake the turkey for his family's
get together, and then I have tomake the turkey for my all for
so we're going to a wife'sfamily on Thanksgiving, and then
some of the family's coming overon Saturday there to my house,
and it's like I'm in charge ofthe turkey then.

(24:09):
Oh Maryland, it's like there'sthe pressure is on now, the
pressure's on my tragger.
There's a lot of things withpressure on it.
It's it's nerve-wracking now.
I'm just thinking about it nowas we're getting close to the
end of the show, and I'm like, okay, is the turkey gonna be
fine?
Like, what's going on?
So, yeah, there's a whole thingwith that.
So, well, yeah.
So, Kyle, there's only one thingwe can do, like as we always do.

(24:29):
We gotta do the mellow yellowminute, the trivia portion of
the show in honor of my grandpa.
He loved trivia and he lovedmellow yellow, so we call it the
mellow yellow minute.
And make sure if you guys gotyour favorite beverage, crack
that thing open right now.
We have our mellow yellow minutequestion, top five of the day
here.
Kyle, there's no other way wecould do it.

(24:51):
We had to do our top, topThanksgiving side dishes.
So I'm gonna give the top five.
And as always, if you guys areout there, if you want to be
involved in this, 715-990-4914.
That is 715-990-4914.
If you hit me up with theanswer, the top five in order,

(25:12):
before Kyle does, we'll get youa t-shirt from our new sponsor
down there, Jason.
Our new uh sponsor down therethat can get us some t-shirts
there.
So, Kyle, here we go.
Green bean casserole, sweetpotatoes, mashed potatoes,
stuffing and dressing, or macand cheese.

(25:51):
It is not mashed potatoes.
It's a mashed potato hater rightthere.

SPEAKER_00 (25:57):
I mean, I eat all these green bean casserole five.

SPEAKER_02 (26:04):
Green bean casserole at number five.
There you go.

SPEAKER_00 (26:10):
Four.
Let's go.
Sweet potatoes.

SPEAKER_02 (26:16):
It is not sweet potatoes, close.
Not sweet potatoes.
Not mashed potatoes.

SPEAKER_00 (26:20):
Okay.
I just wanted the potatoes.

SPEAKER_02 (26:25):
Not stuffing.

unknown (26:26):
Really?

SPEAKER_00 (26:27):
Mac and cheese.

SPEAKER_02 (26:27):
Mac and cheese at number four.
Mac and cheese at number four.
So you have mashed potatoes, stuffing, and sweet potatoes
left on the list.

SPEAKER_00 (26:35):
Green mechanics with mac and cheese, then I'll go.
Mashed potatoes.

SPEAKER_02 (26:45):
Not mashed potatoes.

SPEAKER_00 (26:48):
Okay, I'm doing terrible on this one.

SPEAKER_02 (26:50):
Uh last week you rolled it.
Sweet potatoes is it.
Sweet potatoes in.
So you're between mashedpotatoes and stuffing for one
and two.

SPEAKER_00 (26:58):
I'm assuming stuffing is one and mashed
potatoes are two.
Yes, it is.

SPEAKER_02 (27:01):
There you go.
I mean, you bounced back.
It was it was ugly to start, butyou bounced back.
The potatoes were the problemright in the middle there.
The potatoes were definitely theproblem.
So if you guys got that onebefore Kyle did, you can win a
t-shirt from our sponsor downthere, JBC Screen Printing and

(27:22):
Embroidery LLC.
They're a brand new sponsor.
I was gonna say it before, and II always butcher this part.
I should know this, but I alwaysbutcher between JCB and JBC.
So I was just about to say J andI caught myself and I was like,
oh no, I gotta make sure I sayit right because I don't want to
butcher it.
So I'm sorry.
I don't like it's not like Iit's not like I don't pay

(27:44):
attention.
It's just like I always I justso many things going on in my
mind right now, and it's like Ididn't want to butcher a name,
so I waited till the end.
But if you got it before youdid, you can get a spot from our
great sponsor on there, JBCScreen Printing and Embroidery.
They do fantastic work.
They got our t-shirts are nowavailable.
Go to the Facebook page, you canfind the link there.
I got it shared on there.
Find the link.
Go grab a t-shirt.

(28:05):
You can help support Warm KidsWisconsin.
Five dollars from every t-shirtgoes to Warm Kids Wisconsin.
And what more do you need toknow?
Donate to the kids this holidayseason.
That's what you need to knowthere.
Grab a t-shirt, grab a hat,maybe, grab a sweatshirt.
Somebody on your Christmas listneeds something, grab it up
there.
Help us, help kids out.
Don't help us.
We I we don't need we don't needthe money.

(28:27):
The kids need the money, andthat's what we're trying to do
here with those t-shirts.
They're getting a littledonation going.
So, Kyle, let's get to the box.
Let's talk about Bucks here.
The Giannis list box.
It has been a struggle to saythe least.
As playing here for the Bucs.
They've dropped five straight, they're below 500 now, eight and
ten.

(28:47):
It's looking worse than it isbetter at this point.
Giannis can't get back soonenough, if you ask a lot of buck
fans.
The panic meter, we talked aboutthe other day.
The the panic meter, the otherday we were talking, oh, it's at
like a five.
Now it's at like a nine or a tenat this point here.
It's like, okay, if Giannisisn't there, this is a
completely different lookingteam.

(29:08):
What have you seen as of latehere?
Is there maybe uh silver lining, maybe some good that we can see
out of this?
What what have you seen as oflate here out of the box?

SPEAKER_00 (29:18):
Um I mean, I I think one thing that I've noticed is I
mean, probably not a good thing, but the rebounding has become an
issue.
And I think that's where youmiss Giannis because the last
four games they've been they'velost the rebounding battle in

(29:39):
three of the four games.
The only game they won therebounding battle was against
the Pistons, but unfortunatelythe Pistons shot like 53% from
three.
So, what you're noticing is likethe defense and closing out
defensive possessions is wherethe struggle is happening with
this team.
I do think maybe.

(30:00):
Maybe where there is a bit of agood.
I feel like Bobby Portis hasplayed well.
He's you know averaging like 18and 7.
And for Bobby Portis, you'lltake that.
So that's probably the good asBobby Portis.

(30:20):
I guess you want to look at thebad.
Miles Turner is 13 and 8.
I feel like he, especiallyrebounding wise, I feel like he
should be in the double digits.
And then Kuzma.
16 points.
I like that.
He's only been averaging fourrebounds.
So they have to kind of get acollective effort to help out on

(30:45):
the boards.
Because I think that's wherethey're losing these games.
It's second chance points.
You have because long reboundswith a lot of these teams that
shoot threes, I think that'swhere the Bucs are missing
Giannis the most right now.
On the boards.
They have to figure that out ifthey want to turn around this
kind of losing streak thatthey're on right now.

SPEAKER_02 (31:08):
So it's hard, it's hard to look ahead right now for
this team.
But is there in your eyes, canyou can you give the the clear
cut?
I know you kind of did there, but what is your clear cut?
This is what they have to do toget this back on track, to get
the wheels back on track here, try and survive, maybe salvage a
game here, two here coming up.

(31:30):
What are those things thatyou're looking for?
I know you kind of hinted atsome there, but some of those
things that you're kind of likethis is what they have to do
moving forward, get this thingback on track.
You know, because just lookingahead of the schedule, you got
the heat coming up next.
That's gonna be coming, that'stonight here, as we're talking.
They're taking on the heat.
And then after that, I mean, youdo have winnable games on the
schedule.
I mean, you got the Knicks, butthen you have Brooklyn, then you

(31:51):
have Washington.
So you're gonna have some toughgames.
You got a couple road games, then you come back home and they
go back on the road there, butsome winnable games.
So, what are you looking at?
What do they got to do to getthis thing back on track in
these upcoming games against theHeat, Knicks, Brooklyn,
Washington there?

SPEAKER_00 (32:08):
Well, I guess in in conjunction with the rebounding,
defend the three-point line.
That's also been a bit of adisturbing trend that I'm
starting to see is that, and Ithink this is something that the
Bucs have probably had to dealwith for years now.

(32:29):
Their philosophy has kind ofbeen pack the paint and kind of
let you shoot from theperimeter.
Problem is long rebounds, they're not getting out to
those.
So I think they kind of have toswitch it up and maybe defend a
little bit further out and thenkind of gang rebound where you
know you're blocking your man uptop, and then you know, you kind

(32:51):
of make it easier for Turner andthose guys in the middle there
because you just named off someteams.
The Heat have Bam Otabayo who'son the glass, the Nets have Nick
Claxton, which literally all hedoes is he's on the glass.
So just up against two guys likethat, you really have to make a

(33:13):
concerted effort to just closeout defensive possessions
because you're already losingGiannis's offensive production,
which now you know that marginof error has shrunk.
So you can't give awaypossessions and give six second
chance on the other end becauseyour scoring's probably down a
little bit, so you have to makesure that you can step up there

(33:37):
and then still be somewhatproficient offensively, and like
I said, Miles Turner, I feellike broken record, need more
from him, both scoring andrebounding, right?

SPEAKER_02 (33:50):
Right.
You okay?
So give me your panic meter.
Give me your panic meter.
We're in week one withoutGiannis, and it's yes, it could
be two weeks, it could be along.
I mean, you never know.
That those injuries are very hitor miss.
What is your panic meter atwatching this Bucks team without

(34:12):
Giannis?
You're not expecting Giannis tocome back guns ablazing right
off the bat.
What is your I mean, where whereis your head at right now?
If you were if you're a Bucs fanlooking at this, you're saying
to yourself, what?

SPEAKER_00 (34:28):
Uh you're saying that you just want this team to
I mean, it's still early in theseason, so even when he does
come back, they can still makesome headway, but you don't want
them to fall too far behind thepack.
Right.
Because right now, I well, whenGiannis went out, they were
about top five.

(34:49):
They're now 11th in the East.
Obviously, he's gonna come backat some point, you don't expect
him to stay there, but you know, the Bucks, we were talking about
it a couple of weeks ago, theycould be a top six team.
And right now, you're aboutthree games behind the sixth
place Hawks, and in betweenthere, you have a Sixers team

(35:11):
that is decent.
You know, the Magic are a teamthat's been disappointing, but
they could very well go on a runand shoot up the standings as
well.
And the Bulls are the team thatyou're looking at as the team
that you could probably jumponce Giannis gets back, but that
that's my only thing.
Like, get some wins, even ifyou're still an 11th, as long as

(35:37):
you're kind of in arm's reach, you should feel okay.
Panic meter, I would probably bearound an eight or a nine,
right?
Because of the reboundingmargin, and like I said, Bam
Ataballo and Nick Claxon arecoming up next.
Those are two guys who couldclean up on the boards.

SPEAKER_02 (35:54):
It might be a time where you gotta see a little
bit, maybe of a guy like JerichoSims, maybe a guy like that,
where he's a little morephysical, maybe can get after
it.
But like you said, Miles Turnerhas got to be the we've talked
about this before, he's gotta bethe big guy that you brought him
in to be.
Like that's we you let BrookeLopez go because this Miles
Turner was supposed to be yourguy, your guy to put next to

(36:16):
Giannis and be that dominantfront court for you.
And it just hasn't been thatyet.
So yeah, I completely am allwith you that it's gotta be,
it's gotta start with MilesTurner.
It's got to finish with MilesTurner at this point.
That is what you brought him infor, that is what you paid him
for.
You don't give money like thatto a guy, if especially if
you're the Bucs, if you didn'texpect him to not to be able to
take that next step in Milwaukeeand build next to Giannis.

(36:39):
So I'm right there with you.
So let's quick, let's lookaround the league here.
I know you just you kind of justwent through the uh the
standings there talking aboutthe Bucs, but let's jump around
the the league here real quick.
Give me your let's just lookaround the league.
Let's go top five in each one.
Who are your top five teamsright now?
Okay, let's go top five, complete league, west east.
Just go let's go wild with it,right?

(37:00):
Let's go big.
West, east both together.
Give me your top five, give meyour NBA power rankings right
now, top five.

SPEAKER_00 (37:08):
So Thunder is still number one.
They're 17 and one.
They look like they're not gonnahave any hangover from last
year.
I think that's a that's a given.
Uh second, I'm taking Detroit.
I love what they're doing.
They're a young team, they playwith a lot of energy.
Cade Cunningham has definitelystepped his game up.

(37:30):
I like watching the Pistonsplay.
They're two for me.
Three.
I go with the Nuggets.
Like it's fascinating to me howthe Nuggets fly under the radar
when they have Jokic who yearin, year out as an MVP
candidate.
Right.
Never hear anybody talk aboutthem.
You know, Aaron Gordon's beenout of the in and out of the

(37:51):
lineup, but they still keepwinning, so they're three for
me.
Four.
Four's tricky, but I'll go I'llgo Rockets at four.
I I like what they're gettingfrom their young players and
Ahmed Thompson and Sam Goon.
Plus, you still have KevinDurant, who the biggest thing

(38:13):
the Rockets needed was a guy whocould just get you a bucket, and
they got Durant.
So I have them four and thenfive.
I will go.
There's a lot of teams to choosefrom for five, but you know
what?
I'll I'll give the Lakers arespect and give them five.
Luca and Austin Reeves areplaying really well, they're

(38:35):
just getting LeBron back.
See how they can uh factor himinto what they've been doing
without him so far.
So look, you have Luca, we'veseen Luca do this.
I have to put the Lakers atfive.

SPEAKER_02 (38:49):
Yeah, yeah, I like that.
I like that.
It's good.
Top five right there.
So there is Kyle's top five inthe NBA, his power rankings in
the NBA as of this week here,November 26th edition for Kyle.
There.
So we're gonna come back.
Kyle's gonna stick around.
We're gonna hit a break.
We're gonna come back.
We have some NFL to talk abouton the backside.
We're gonna talk about Kyle'sNFL power rankings on the
backside.

(39:10):
Dive into a little bit of NFL.
We got our pick'em for the week.
We're gonna wrap it up here andget you guys off to your
Thanksgiving festivities.
So we'll be back here after thisquick commercial break here on
the Speaker Trade.
As we come back here as we'rewrapping it up here in hour
number two of the show heretonight.
I hope you guys are enjoyingyour Wednesday.
And hey, this next segment,we're gonna talk a little NFL.

(39:30):
This next segment is brought toyou by Peggy Sue Bellish, a
lifelong resident of CentralWisconsin.
Peggy Sue with Century 21 GoldKey Realty knows the area and
the market.

commercial, Peggy Sue has theknowledge and experience to help

Give her a call there.
Peggy Sue 715-305-4345.

(39:52):
That is 715-305-4345.
So, Kyle, I notice when we getto the end of the show, I
always, my words, I just startlike my word play and
everything.
I start losing my words.
Like I think I'm sayingsomething, and then it's not
actually what I'm saying.
It's like you talk for so longthat you just you're just out of
it at that point.
I'm in, I'm in Thanksgivingfever right now.

(40:14):
I'm just ready for the turkey.
I'm ready for the food.
I'm ready for the football.
And that's what we're here totalk about, Kyle.
We're here to talk about thesefootball games we got coming up.
So, but before we get there, wegot to talk Kyle's power
rankings coming off of what weekare we in?
Are we all the way in week 13already or something like that?
Goodness, it's week 13, Kyle.

(40:35):
This is wild.
It's week 13 here.
Kyle, week 13, going into it.
Who do you have power rankingsin the NFL?
Let's start NFC.
Who is your NFC top five?

SPEAKER_00 (40:50):
So I think the best team in the NFC, gotta give it
to the Rams.

SPEAKER_02 (40:56):
I was gonna say the Bears, Kyle is gonna end this
and kick you out.

SPEAKER_00 (41:01):
I mean, look, they they have Stafford, you have uh
Devontae Adams, you have theguys on the defense there.
They they've beaten theSeahawks, who are another team I
have really highly regarded.
So I gotta give them that.
I think second, I'm probablystill going to keep the Seahawks

(41:23):
up there.
I just like so much about theirteam, especially defensively.
Defense travels in the playoffs,so I have to have them two now.
Three is where it getsinteresting because there's a
few teams that may have winningrecords, but I just don't like

(41:44):
the way that they're playingright now.
So three, I'm I'd probably gopackers at three.
You know, the the pieces thatthey have on offense.
I think that they're stillprobably the the favorite to win
that division.

(42:04):
I've not completely bought in onthe Bears yet, so I'll put the
Packers at three.
I think four.
The NFC is so tricky.
Four, I'm actually gonna go withthe Lions.
I I know they're like on theoutside looking in the playoffs
right now, but Jameer Gibbs iscoming off a 260-yard rushing

(42:27):
day.
I think they're poised to winagain, probably Thursday.
And I think the the Lions mighthit a little bit, a bit of a
stride right now, so I'll putthem at four and then five.

SPEAKER_02 (42:44):
Do you leave the Bears out for the Eagles or do
you leave the Eagles out for theBears?

SPEAKER_00 (42:51):
I may leave both out because I'm probably more.
I probably trust the 49ers more, even though they're coming off
that ugly game against thePanthers.
They have CMC, they have Kittledefensively.
Solo's been doing a lot withthem.
I just don't like what theEagles are doing offensively,

(43:13):
and the Bears.
I'm still not sold that they arethis good.

SPEAKER_02 (43:21):
Right.

SPEAKER_00 (43:21):
The Bears would probably be right outside.
The Bears would probably be sixfor me.
I I probably like what the Bearsare doing right now more than
the Eagles.

SPEAKER_02 (43:30):
The Bears haven't won pretty and they haven't beat
anybody good.
That's that's the thing.
They haven't beat anybody goodyet.
They're gonna have a test.
If they beat the Eagles, theycan shut up a lot of people.
But until they do that, you beatMason Rudolph and the Steelers.
You didn't beat Aaron Rodgersand the Steelers, you beat Mason
Rudolph and the Steelers barely.
You've had close games againsteverybody in between.

(43:50):
It doesn't matter.
You can talk about thisfour-game win streak.
It wins a win, right?
At the end of the day, but it'shard to look at them and say,
wow, this team's that good.
You snuck it out versus thecommanders, Jane Daniels out,
you snuck it out against theSaints, you snuck it out against
the Vikings, you snuck it outagainst the Giants, just so many
close games.
Saints was 26-14, so maybe youcan count that as a little bit
more.
But snuck it out against theRaiders 25-24.

(44:12):
Just so many close games all theway back.
Cowboys, you beat them 31-14.
Okay.
You beat the Cowboys.
But you got trout by the Lions, you lost to the Vikings in the
opener, and then you lost to theRavens 30 to 16.
I you if you beat the if youbeat the Eagles and you beat the
Packers, oh, both at on theroad, both in in Philly and in
Green Bay, hats off to you.

(44:33):
So yeah, I'm I'm right therewith you.
I you want to throw them in, butI just don't trust them.
I I'm not gonna put the respecton a team until I see it, until
I have that eye test where it'slike, okay, I like what I'm
seeing now.
So yeah, I completely agree withyou.
Um, the only one that I maybewould have flipped in my eyes
would have been, uh see, it'syeah, the NFC is tricky.

(44:56):
The NFC is tricky.
I wanted to say the Seahawksbeing a little bit lower because
Sam Darnold started to show thecracks in the armor again.
But but draws me back in.
So I think it might be okay upthere.
So yeah, I mean, I I don't haveany super big problems.
But hey, if anybody out therehas problems with Kyle's top
five in the NFC, hit us up.

(45:17):
715-990-4914.
That's 715-990-4914.
Let us know what you think.
What's your top five in the NFCright now?
I'd love to hear it.
We'd love to share it here onthe show.
So, Kyle AFC, top five.
Who do you got in your AFC topfive right now?

SPEAKER_00 (45:32):
I feel like the AFC is a little bit more
straightforward.
Um, I have the Pats at one, theyhave the best record.
May's playing really playingreally well.
The defense outside of like theopening drive locks down.
I know people are gonna talkabout their schedule, but they
they're playing like a confidentbunch.

(45:53):
I can have them on one.
Broncos at two, love theirdefense.
Have questions about Bo Nicksand the offense, but they're
kind of like the Seahawks.
Defense travels, they play outin Denver where not every team
can go out there and play.
So I got them at two.
I'm gonna put the Colts at threeand Jonathan Taylor's just been

(46:17):
like remarkable this year.
Daniel Jones, I'm worried about.
I'm starting to pay moreattention to him because I want
to see can can he turn his playaround.
Because Kansas City stoppedJonathan Taylor and dared Daniel
Jones to beat him, and DanielJones kind of came up short.
Four the bottom of the AFC forme might surprise you again.

(46:40):
I'm gonna take the Texans atfour.
Ooh, I love the defense, and ifthey could figure out the
offense on a consistent basis, they could be a scary team come
playoffs, and then five.
I was caught between two teamshere.
I'm gonna reluctantly goBaltimore because it's funny,

(47:04):
early in the season, the offensewas playing well, the defense
was struggling.
Now it's like the defense hasstepped up their game, the
offense is struggling right now.
They need to get both sides ofthe ball together, but they're
winning, they've overtaken theSteelers, they're leading the
division.
I have the Ravens at five.

SPEAKER_02 (47:26):
I like it.
I don't think I have any uhdiscretions with that one.
I do agree.
I like the Texans.
The defense is really good.
They just need and CJ Stroudisn't out there, so maybe you
get him back, maybe you canstart to put some of these
pieces back together.
The difference for me, youmentioned it right off the bat.
We talked about the Bears andtheir easier schedule and barely
sneaking games outright, andthey had the Patriots.

(47:49):
The difference for me is thequarterback play.
Caleb Williams makes a lot ofill-advised, dangerous, still
turning the ball over throws.
Drake May has been a lot moreefficient and has looked a lot
better.
So that's where I have thedifference between those two
teams is I like what I see inthat quarterback play more with
the Patriots than I do with theBears.
And I don't want, I don't likethe Bears.

(48:10):
I don't like the Bears at all.
I don't want to say that CalebWilliams can't do it.
I just haven't seen it yet.
So once we get that, andeverybody's gonna say, oh, the
game winning drives and this andthat.
It's like, oh, but okay, we sawthe Vikings have a lot of close
games.
Was that last year they had alot of close games there?
What happened in round one ofthe playoffs?
The Rams smoked.

(48:31):
I mean, there's it's just youworry about those kinds of teams
and those kinds of games, andyou know, you're gonna play
close games, you gotta figureout to win close games there.
I completely agree, but theyjust haven't been able to put
teams away.
The I can they just haven'tpassed the eye test, in my
opinion.
So that's yeah, I agree withthat with the Bears versus the
Pats argument there.

(48:51):
So, Kyle, we gotta do ourpick'em.
We gotta do our pick'em here forThanksgiving week.
Last week, okay, sadly I I'mstinking at the pick'em.
I am currently 0-2-1, and Kyleis 2-0-1.
Last week he won again, so he is2-0-1 after our tie in week one.
And I am 0-2-1 here so far inour pick'em here for the show.

(49:13):
So, Kyle, I think you startedlast week.
So, I think I gotta start thisweek.
Well, we might as well take theThanksgiving games.
Throw them right out the doorright now.
Let's nothing screamsThanksgiving like Raven, Ravens,
and Bangles.
That screams Thanksgiving to me.
Let's take.
Hmm.

(49:34):
Give me the Bangles to beat theRavens.
Joe Burrow's back.
Give me the give me the banglesand Joe Burroughs return to beat
the Ravens.
I like that.
Give me the Bangles.

SPEAKER_00 (49:44):
Okay.
Bengals have a good stretch herewhere they get the Ravens two
times in three weeks, where ifthey can win both of those,
their season looks a lotdifferent.
So I don't I don't hate thatpick at all.
Uh for me, let's see.
I usually go kind of uh, youknow, easy one for my first

(50:05):
pick.
And with that, I'm gonna takeI'll take the Seahawks to bounce
back over the Vikings.

SPEAKER_02 (50:15):
Oh, there we go.
We got the Seahawks.
Oh, we got a Black Friday game.
Bears eagles.
Give me the Eagles.
Give me the Eagles to beat theBears.
There we go.
I'll take the Eagles.
Okay.

SPEAKER_00 (50:31):
Uh it's a little riskier here.
I'm gonna take those Texansgoing on the road and beating
the Colts.

SPEAKER_02 (50:44):
Texans on the road over the Colts.
I like that.
Oh, that's a bold one.
I gotta go bold.
I don't know where to go boldwith this, though.
Hmm.
Man, uh oh, these are some toughgames.

(51:05):
Let's go Chiefs over the Cowboysat ATT.
Give me the Chiefs over theCowboys.
They, you know, every season youlook back on a game and you say
that's where their season turnedaround and they were able to
make the playoffs.
The Chiefs are gonna have thatwhen they look back at the Colts
game and say, Wow, the Coltsallowed us to get back into it,
and now we feel better.
Give me the Chiefs over theCowboys.

SPEAKER_00 (51:26):
Okay.
Uh then I will go.
I'm going Monday night.
Could be a trap game because thePatriots have the bye waiting
for them, but I think they getit done against the Giants
Monday night football.
We got the Patriots over theGiants.

SPEAKER_02 (51:46):
There we go.

Are You A Charlotte?

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
