What is our priority in life?
What is it that you and I whenwe wake up every day, every
morning, we strive to pursue inthis life?

And Jesus has given us apriority.
Child of God, I want you to payattention to this because this

focus in this life.

you and I to connect with God,amen.
And then our soul is ourself-consciousness, it is what
helps you and I to connect withyourself.

Winnie, it's in the inside.
Who you truly are, it's in theinside.
But in the inside, we have whatdepression.
In the inside, you have whatanxiety, in the inside, you have

You dress well, you smile well,you dance, but you're sad in the

But God is saying that the realyou is in the inside because

neglect to take care of ourinner man, and the only one that
can help you take care of yourinner man is God, because you
are made in his image andlikeness.
God is spirit, so you arespirit.
I just want to lay an emphasisthat yes, it's good to beautify

your body, but your mentalhealth, your emotional health,
you're key.
Your body, it's your worldlyconsciousness, it's your
awareness about yoursurroundings.

That's why God gave us thisbody.
That's why you can feel cold.
But when you die, your spiritcannot feel cold.

Yeah, it's good to take care ofthe body, but don't neglect your
spirit, don't neglect your soul.
That is where your emotions,your mindset about who you are,

God is not just pickingmotivational dragons, God is
healing you from the inside.
Now, Matthew chapter 6, verse33.

Seeking, state your lifepursuit.
First, state your life priority.

Jesus is saying that I want youto pursue something.

Number one.
Seek first the kingdom of God.
Before we talk about the kingdomof God, you need to know the

We want to go to heaven, notbecause of the king, we want to
go to heaven because we want toescape hell.
Most of us we want to go toheaven because we don't want to
end up in hell.
We're not going to heavenbecause you want to see the
king.
You go to heaven because it's abeautiful place.
It's like for the man, you wantthis young lady because of her

body.
You want her because of sex.
You don't really want herbecause of who she is as a
person.
When you get the sex from her,you abandon her.
You pretend as if you don't knowher from Adam.
And then for women, you don'tlike this man because of who he
is.

And then when you get thatmoney, you disappear.
We come to God not because ofwho God is at times.
That's the reality.
We come to God not because ofwho God is as a person.
Would you still come to God ifGod did not answer your prayer?
Would you still come to God ifGod did not butter your bread

Would you still come to God?
You see, God is seekingrelationship.
Even how we have not done theunconditional relationship.
Our relationships in life, theyare conditional.
I have been in a relationshipthat is conditional.

If you don't do this, no love.

We want to go to heaven.
We want to be in the kingdom,but we don't know the king.
So that is why I want to startoff by saying that your first
pursuit and parody should behave a relationship with the
king.
Have a relationship with theking.

God wants a relationship withyou.
God is personal.
God is relational.
God is not a stone that you talkto that cannot talk back to you.
God is not a tree that you cantalk to that, ah no, no, no.
That is why God is inside of youby the indwelling of the Holy

Spirit that you have access to.
Do you believe that God isinside of you?
That you can actually talk toGod?
Or the only way you feel likeyou can talk to God is when you
talk to your pastor.
But do you believe that you canactually talk to God in his
word?
In his word, you can talk tohim, you can talk to him in your
inner man.

God wants a relationship.
Look what it says regardingrelationship with God.
It says in Matthew chapter 2,verse 34.
Jesus said, You shall love theLord your God with all your
heart, with all your soul, andwith all your mind.
Jesus is saying that since yourcomposition as a human being is

spirit, soul, and body, I wantyou to use everything that you
got.
Love God with your spirit, loveGod with your soul, love God
with your body, love God withyour emotions, too.
Love God with your desires, loveGod with your ambitions.
He said, love God with all.
All don't take it back.
Give God everything.

Your decisions.
When God is saying, I don't wantmy daughter, I don't like this
guy for you.
You don't live, I don't listento God, I don't listen to the
looks, I ain't gonna listen tothe money.
That is not love.
You gotta give God all yourwill.
It's hard.
You want to do A, God is saying,I want you to do B.
It's hard.
We want our own ways, we wantour own will.

Look what it says in 1Corinthians chapter 13, verse
13.
And now above faith, hope, andlove.
These three, but the greatest ofthis is love.
So God is essentially sayingthat build a relationship with
me on the foundation of love.
If you want to have a successfulrelationship, you that are not
married yet.

If you want to get married, makesure you marry somebody that
loves you.
Don't do okay.
The man is gonna love you whenyou look nice.
But if you don't look nice, dothey accept you for who you are?
We don't look nice, we don't allsinners.
The Bible says, While we're yetsinners, Christ died for us.
Jesus loves me.

God loves you when he sees yourhumbliness.
Jesus, God loves you when hesees your badness, not just your
strength, when he sees yourweakness, you're struggling with
this addiction, you're lying,you're stealing.
He still loves you.
He still loves you.
So that's the type ofrelationship that God wants you

to pursue with him.
And then the second priority isGod's reign.
That is now where we have thekingdom of God.
God's reign.
God's reign is in threecategories.
Number one, God reign means Godis the one who's in charge, he's
the leader.
He reigns in the heavens wherehe lives, and the second heavens
(18:20):
where all the spiritualactivities take place, and then
the um third, um, the the firstheaven.
God also reigns on earth.
That is the the masters thathave to do with the governance
and the vegetation, the animals.
But there's one area in ourlives that we neglect that God
actually reigns.
God reigns in you.
(18:41):
That is why Paul said that thekingdom of God is not eating and
drinking, it is peace,righteousness, and joy in the
Holy Ghost.
So the kingdom of God is notjust when you go to heaven.
God is saying, I want my kingdomto be here, I want to rule over
your heart, I want to rule overyour mind, I want to rule over
your soul.

Allow me to be in charge of you.
So God wants you and I to pursuehis reign in our personal lives,
where we consult God foreverything that we do, where we
ask God's opinion on matters,and then another one is God's
responsibility.

That's another thing that youand I wish to prioritize and
pursue.
God's responsibility.
What is that?
Our calling, our ministry.
Just like the choir, what youguys are doing, you guys are
carrying out God'sresponsibility.
You're not just saved just tosit down and do nothing, you are
saved to serve.

You are saved to serve.
That is why you have thesegifts.
You are saved to serve, to bringother people into the fold.
You are saved to serve to edifythe church, you are saved to
serve to strengthen this church,you are saved to serve, and that
is your divine responsibility.
Assignment in life.

Some of you, God has a specificpurpose for you.
Talk to God, God.
What did you call me to do inthis life?
What do you want me to do inthis church?
What is my responsibility?
What value can I add to operateroom ministry?
There are many things that weneed help with.
We need help with praying, weneed help with singing.
The church, Jesus said that theharvest is plenty, but the

liberals are few.
Christians, we're the mostselfish people.
We're the most selfish.
That's just a fact.
We're the most selfish people.
So, prioritize number one, God'srelationship, number two, God's
reign.
Number three, God'sresponsibility.
That is our calling.
Look what it says in Markchapter 16, verse 15 to 16, just
(20:49):
to confirm what I said.
And he said to them, Go into theworld and preach the gospel to
every creature.
He who believes and is baptizedwill be saved.
Wow.
And he who does not believe willbe condemned.
So Jesus is commissioning youand I to go into the world.
So you're not saved just to sitdown on your bum.
No, no, you're not saved.
You're saved to go on a mission.

And you start that mission withyour household.
You start that mission at workbecause you're saved to serve.
You're saved to redeem people.
You have been anointed.
Child of God, do you know whoyou are?
I don't think you know who youare at times.
With your fine face, you thinkthat's all that's all that
matters?
Do you know what's inside ofyou?
Do you know the power that isinside of you?

Do you know the greatness thatis inside of you?
Oh, you have to be somebody bigbefore you believe who you are.
When greater is he, that is inyou than he in this world.
Child of God, I'm here to pumpyou up, to tell you who you are
from the inside.
Not from your background,they're external, not from your

But who you are will remain.
The fourth one, in terms of whatyou and I we should prioritize,
is God's righteousness.
Look what it says in FirstCorinthians chapter 5, verse 21.
For he made him who knew no sin,but sin for us, that we might

become the righteousness of Godin him.
If we want to go stay with theking of glory, you're not gonna
come to the king of glorydressing anyhow.
Are you mad?
You don't come to work, looklike a Rastafari, no offense,

Seek my character, seek mynature, seek my lifestyle, as

That's what God is saying.
I want you to embody me, I wantyou to represent me, I want you
to reflect me.
That is the fourth priority,child of God, to seek God's
attributes.
Now you're asking yourself, manof God, how can I engage in this

priority?
How can I pursue?
How can I prioritize God'srelationship?
How can I prioritize God'sreign?
How can I prioritize God'sresponsibility?
How can I prioritize God'srighteousness?
Number one, engage with the wordof God, engage with the word of
God.
That is where you're gonnafigure out who God is, that is

where you're gonna figure outwho you are, that is where
you're gonna figure out God'svalues.
Look what it says in Lukechapter 10, verse 38 to 39.
Now, it happened as they wentthat he entered a certain
village, and a certain womannamed Matha welcomed him into a
house.
And so God.
And he had a sister called Mary,who also sat at Jesus' feet and

heard his word.
Okay, there are two types ofbelievers that we can find in
Mary and Matha.
It's up to you.
What do you want to be?
You want to be a Matha or do youwant to be a Mary?
The difference is that Matha wasa walker, Mary was engaged in
the word.
There's nothing wrong aboutbeing a walker in the church.
But when Jesus is present, whenJesus is speaking, put all that

speaks, they are spirit andtheir life.
His words will set you free.
But we take this word forgranted.
Do you know how you worship God?

dancing, but my spirit is notconnected.

When you put God first, I'mtelling you, many things begin
to work for you.

And then our soul is ourself-consciousness, it is what

But in the inside, we have whatdepression.

We come to God not because ofwho God is at times.

You see, God is seekingrelationship.
Even how we have not done theunconditional relationship.
Our relationships in life, theyare conditional.

We want to go to heaven.
We want to be in the kingdom,but we don't know the king.
So that is why I want to startoff by saying that your first
pursuit and parody should behave a relationship with the

Have a relationship with theking.

spirit, soul, and body, I wantyou to use everything that you

Love God with your spirit, loveGod with your soul, love God
with your body, love God withyour emotions, too.

He said, love God with all.
All don't take it back.
Give God everything.

When God is saying, I don't wantmy daughter, I don't like this
guy for you.
You don't live, I don't listento God, I don't listen to the

That is not love.
You gotta give God all yourwill.
It's hard.
You want to do A, God is saying,I want you to do B.
It's hard.
We want our own ways, we wantour own will.

Look what it says in 1Corinthians chapter 13, verse
13.
And now above faith, hope, andlove.
These three, but the greatest ofthis is love.
So God is essentially sayingthat build a relationship with
me on the foundation of love.
If you want to have a successfulrelationship, you that are not
married yet.

If you want to get married, makesure you marry somebody that
loves you.
Don't do okay.
The man is gonna love you whenyou look nice.
But if you don't look nice, dothey accept you for who you are?
We don't look nice, we don't allsinners.
The Bible says, While we're yetsinners, Christ died for us.
Jesus loves me.

God loves you when he sees yourhumbliness.
Jesus, God loves you when hesees your badness, not just your
strength, when he sees yourweakness, you're struggling with
this addiction, you're lying,you're stealing.
He still loves you.
He still loves you.
So that's the type ofrelationship that God wants you

to pursue with him.
And then the second priority isGod's reign.
That is now where we have thekingdom of God.
God's reign.
God's reign is in threecategories.
Number one, God reign means Godis the one who's in charge, he's
the leader.
He reigns in the heavens wherehe lives, and the second heavens
(18:20):
where all the spiritualactivities take place, and then
the um third, um, the the firstheaven.
God also reigns on earth.
That is the the masters thathave to do with the governance
and the vegetation, the animals.
But there's one area in ourlives that we neglect that God
actually reigns.
God reigns in you.
(18:41):
That is why Paul said that thekingdom of God is not eating and
drinking, it is peace,righteousness, and joy in the
Holy Ghost.
So the kingdom of God is notjust when you go to heaven.
God is saying, I want my kingdomto be here, I want to rule over
your heart, I want to rule overyour mind, I want to rule over
your soul.

Allow me to be in charge of you.
So God wants you and I to pursuehis reign in our personal lives,
where we consult God foreverything that we do, where we
ask God's opinion on matters,and then another one is God's
responsibility.

That's another thing that youand I wish to prioritize and
pursue.
God's responsibility.
What is that?
Our calling, our ministry.
Just like the choir, what youguys are doing, you guys are
carrying out God'sresponsibility.
You're not just saved just tosit down and do nothing, you are
saved to serve.

You are saved to serve.
That is why you have thesegifts.
You are saved to serve, to bringother people into the fold.
You are saved to serve to edifythe church, you are saved to
serve to strengthen this church,you are saved to serve, and that
is your divine responsibility.
Assignment in life.

Some of you, God has a specificpurpose for you.
Talk to God, God.
What did you call me to do inthis life?
What do you want me to do inthis church?
What is my responsibility?
What value can I add to operateroom ministry?
There are many things that weneed help with.
We need help with praying, weneed help with singing.
The church, Jesus said that theharvest is plenty, but the

liberals are few.
Christians, we're the mostselfish people.
We're the most selfish.
That's just a fact.
We're the most selfish people.
So, prioritize number one, God'srelationship, number two, God's
reign.
Number three, God'sresponsibility.
That is our calling.
Look what it says in Markchapter 16, verse 15 to 16, just

to confirm what I said.
And he said to them, Go into theworld and preach the gospel to
every creature.
He who believes and is baptizedwill be saved.
Wow.
And he who does not believe willbe condemned.
So Jesus is commissioning youand I to go into the world.
So you're not saved just to sitdown on your bum.
No, no, you're not saved.
You're saved to go on a mission.

And you start that mission withyour household.
You start that mission at workbecause you're saved to serve.
You're saved to redeem people.
You have been anointed.
Child of God, do you know whoyou are?
I don't think you know who youare at times.
With your fine face, you thinkthat's all that's all that
matters?
Do you know what's inside ofyou?
Do you know the power that isinside of you?

Do you know the greatness thatis inside of you?
Oh, you have to be somebody bigbefore you believe who you are.
When greater is he, that is inyou than he in this world.

The fourth one, in terms of whatyou and I we should prioritize,
is God's righteousness.

If we want to go stay with theking of glory, you're not gonna
come to the king of glorydressing anyhow.
Are you mad?

That's what God is saying.
I want you to embody me, I wantyou to represent me, I want you
to reflect me.
That is the fourth priority,child of God, to seek God's
attributes.
Now you're asking yourself, manof God, how can I engage in this

priority?
How can I pursue?
How can I prioritize God'srelationship?
How can I prioritize God'sreign?
How can I prioritize God'sresponsibility?
How can I prioritize God'srighteousness?
Number one, engage with the wordof God, engage with the word of
God.
That is where you're gonnafigure out who God is, that is
(24:04):
where you're gonna figure outwho you are, that is where
you're gonna figure out God'svalues.
Look what it says in Lukechapter 10, verse 38 to 39.
Now, it happened as they wentthat he entered a certain
village, and a certain womannamed Matha welcomed him into a
house.
And so God.
And he had a sister called Mary,who also sat at Jesus' feet and

Okay, there are two types ofbelievers that we can find in
Mary and Matha.
It's up to you.
What do you want to be?

The difference is that Matha wasa walker, Mary was engaged in

But when Jesus is present, whenJesus is speaking, put all that

His words will set you free.
But we take this word forgranted.
Do you know how you worship God?
Not just singing and dancing,it's part of it, it's an

In spirit and in truth.
Meaning that, oh God, youworship God as God is, because
God is spirit.
So you are so God.
That is why I still hope I saythat your composition is that
you are spirit with a soul in abody.
So for you to connect with God,it takes your spirit.
You cannot connect with God withyour body, you cannot connect

with God with your soul, ittakes your spirit to connect
with God.

to dance, but you can dance andyour spirit is not connected to

dancing, but my spirit is notconnected.

You're planning to go and sin,and then you are you are you are

No, God hates sin.

How do we know this God so thatwe can worship Him in truth?
It's in the Word.
That's what we are prioritizing.

You don't meet God just onSundays, you meet God every day

Wednesdays, if you can tune inon Zoom, we have made everything
possible for our people in thischurch to know the word.
You cannot do ministry, youcannot walk with God without the
word.
You're deceiving yourself.
You cannot.

Wednesdays, we have in-depth ofBible study here.
We take in, we we study book bybook.
Now we're in the book of Mark.
I have learned so much.
If you can make time in person,make time on Zoom, zoom in
because God is saying that Iwant you to engage in my word.

Jesus is coming soon.
And Jesus said, in the lastdays, there will be many false
teachers, many false prophets.

Trying to tell it that no, youcan be a man if you're a woman.

No one will take that away fromyou.
Because you treasure my word,you treasure my presence, and I

Child of God.
And then 2 Timothy chapter 3,verse 16 to 17 explains us how
we can prioritize by engagingwith the word of God.
It says, All scripture, meaningthat the old and the new
testament, is given byinspiration of God.
This Bible that you and I wehave, it is not the origin of
(33:38):
man's idea, it is God's.
But God used us men, Moses, um,Peter, James, the authors of
this Bible, for them to writeit.
But it's God who initiated this.
Okay, so get that in your headthat this is not a man's book
because the Muslims will tell,oh, the Bible is written by man.
I don't believe oh, you bothpeople, white people, I don't
believe in it because it'swritten by man.

I said, No, it's not written byman.
Have you read the Bible foryourself?
You cannot deceive me.
It's not written by man, it iswritten, inspired by God.
Use men to write this book inour language that you and I we
can understand.

Oh God, people have died forthis book.

The Catholic faith, only thepriest had access to the Bible.
No one else, the common mancould not read, they could not

You see, for a government todeceive a nation, one of the
things that they would do tothat nation, take education away

But God is not hiding anything.

is profitable.
Profitable.
That's a business term.
You businessmen and women inthis church, you want profit.
Why are you in business?
You're in business for profit.
So God is saying that, ha! Hesaid, God is a good investor.
He's in that this book isprofitable if you invest in

Number one, it is good fordoctrine, for teaching.
How can I raise my child in theways of God?
It's in this book.
How can I have a positivemindset?

It's good for reproof andcorrection.
How can I correct my children?

How can I correct my wrongdoing?

It's in this book.
It is good for instruction andrighteousness.
How can I live right?
It's in this book.
That the man and the woman ofGod, which is you and I, to be
complete and equipped in everygood work.
When we're in our homes, goodworks, in the business, good
works.
In church, good works.

And finally, engage your mind onthe things above.
Engage your mind on the thingsabove.
For you to engage your mind onthings above, you need to know
the mind of God.
And the mind of God is writtenin this book.
Look what it says in Colossianschapter 3, verse 2.
Set your mind on things above,not on the things on earth.
That is priority.

Jesus is saying that prioritizeyour way of thinking.
The Bible said, do not beconform to this world, do not be
conform to the ways of thisworld, do not be conform to the
systems of this world.
Do not be conformed.
Oh God, do not be conformed tothe thinking of this world.
He said, Be transformed.
And transformation, sometimes,child of God, it takes place, it
(36:31):
begins in your mind.
God can take you out of Ugandabecause you wanted to leave
Uganda because you are poor.
If your mindset has not changed,you will come to this land of
milk and honey, pursuing theCanadian dream, and you will
still remain poor.
And the reason is it's notbecause of the location, it's
(36:54):
because of your mindset.
Transformation starts in themind.
How you view yourself for you tochange how you view yourself
starts in the mind.
Tell the mind, no, I am not mypast.
No, I am not my heart.
No, I am not like my mom.
No, I'm not like my dad.
(37:14):
No, I'm not like my friends.
No, I am not.
I am the beloved of JesusChrist.
I am a new creation.
I am righteous.
I'm not gonna allow the trammersto hold me down.
This man is powerful, child ofGod.
This man is powerful.
Look what it says in in um in umokay, let's see.

Philippians chapter 4, verse 8.
Finally, brethren.
Now, Paul is gonna tell us howwe should engage this mind on,

He says, Whatever things aretrue, he said it off with the
Bible.
He said, Start to train yourmind, start to cultivate your
mind on whatever things aretrue.

Thy word is true.
Okay, whatever things that arenoble, what is noble?
Things of reverence, things ofrespect.
And he said, Whatever thingsthat are just, things that are
righteous, things that areproper, things that are fair,
whatever things that are pure,things that are of no blemish.

He says, Whatever things thatare lovely, things that are so
beautiful, you like them, theybring joy, they don't harm
nobody.
He says, Whatever things are ofgood report, don't hear bad
reports on social media.
What do you read on socialmedia?
What report do you read onsocial media?
He says, Things of good report,if there's any virtue, if

there's anything praiseworthy,meditate on these things.
He said, Use your mind tomeditate on these things.
You can change your life, youcan change your destiny, you can
change your circumstances bychanging your mind.
You have power over this mind.
Tell your mind, mind, I am notgonna think like that.
(39:08):
Mind, I don't want to go there.
You're not gonna take me there.
You know you can talk toyourself.
Sometimes I talk to myself.
Some people think I'm mad.
I'm not mad.
I speak in tongues while I'mwalking.
My people come to the office.
Brian, who are you talking to?
I said, Don't worry, who I'mtalking to.
You have to speak to yourself,tell yourself, mind, I refuse to
go places that I don't want togo.

I refuse to go to places that Idon't want to go.
Child of God, engage your mindon the things above, and lastly,
engage your life in the kingdommission.
And I'm so proud of you guysbecause most of us in this
church, we are involved in God'smission.
But God is saying that I wantyou guys to engage in my word
more, I want you guys to foryour mind to be transformed
(39:54):
while you're engaging in mymission, while you're engaging
in my work.
And to conclude before we pray,seek first his kingdom and his
righteousness.
Jesus said, While you put Godfirst as in having a
relationship with him, while youput God first as in his reign in
(40:16):
your life, while you put Godfirst and prioritize and pursue
as in his responsibilities foryou, and finally, while you put
God first as in pursuit andpriority to seek his
righteousness, Jesus cares aboutyou because he said in that
verse, he said, All these thingsshall be added on to you.
(40:38):
So Jesus is not saying that, oh,your needs for food are not
important.
Jesus is not saying that youwearing clothes are not
important, Jesus is not sayingthat you driving a nice car is
not important.
Jesus is not saying that youwork, no, no, he said, All these
things will be added on to youbecause you prioritize me, I
will help you to achieve thesethings.
(41:00):
Child of God, when you put Godfirst, I'm not just speaking
based on knowledge, I'm speakingbased on experience now.
When you put God first, I'mtelling you, many things begin
to work for you.
You will not struggle, God willmake it happen for you.
When you put God first, it willmake things happen for you.
