Hello, welcome

We are going to pray before wedig into the word.
I can't wait to hear what theLord has to say to all of us,
(00:46):
and I know the Holy Spirit isgoing to be the one to teach you
and I, I am just a mere vessel.
All the glory to our Lord andSavior, jesus Christ.
Father, we thank you for thisprecious time to dive into your
word.
Lord, we are here to receivenot just milk.
We're here to receive the meatof your word, the substance of
(01:10):
your word.
Your word is so deep inrevelation, your word is full of
mysteries.
O, god, we are here to obtainknowledge.
We're here to obtainunderstanding, we're here to
obtain wisdom and, mostimportantly, oh God.
We're here, oh God, for yourHoly Spirit, to enable us to
(01:30):
apply your word.
We don't want to just behearers of your word, we want to
be doers of your word.
Oh God, and help us, oh God, aswe hear your word, receive your
word.
As we apply your word, help usto also share your word with
people that will come across.
I pray lord.
Right now you prepare thehearts of your people to be
(01:50):
receptive, to receive your word.
Oh god, you prepare the mindsof your people to be attentive,
to take heed to your word.
In jesus precious powerful name, we pray amen.
Bible study is coming from thegospel of mark, chapter 4, from
verses 35 to 41 jesus commandingauthority over windstorm and
(02:18):
wave storm.
We're going to start readingfrom Mark, chapter 4, verse 35
till 41.
So excited, I can't wait.
Look what it says.
On the same day, when eveninghad come, he said to them let us
cross over to the other side.
(02:40):
Now, when they had left themultitude, they took him along
in the boat, as he was, andother little boats were also
with him, and a great windstormarose and the waves beat into
(03:03):
the boat boat so that it wasalready filling, but he was in
the stern, asleep on a pillow, and they awoke him and said to
him teacher, do you not carethat we are perishing?
(03:24):
Teacher, do you not care thatwe are perishing?
Wow, then he arose and rebukedthe wind.
Wow, jesus arose and rebukedthe wind and said to the sea
Peace, be still.
And the wind ceased and therewas a great calm.
(03:48):
Powerful when Jesus steps intoany situation.
I don't know your storm in life, I don't want to preach today,
but this is just mind blowing.
When Jesus steps in anysituation, any given situation,
it doesn't matter if it's anatural situation, if it's a
(04:10):
spiritual situation.
If you cry to Jesus when hesteps into any situation, child
of God, the same Jesus in theNew Testament, the same Jesus
(04:34):
that we are reading here, thatsame Jesus is alive and that
same Jesus can arise and rebukeany situation that you are
facing and speak to thatsituation to be still and
restore peace in your life.
I don't want to get ahead ofmyself.
Let me continue to read.
(04:54):
I think we are in verse 40,.
But he said to them why are youso fearful?
How is it that you have nofaith?
Fearful, how is it that youhave no faith?
Oh my god, oh my god.
Why are you so fearful?
(05:14):
How is it that you have nofaith?
This is jesus speaking.
Why are you so fearful?
How is it that you have nofaith?
I am, am in the boat, I am God,I am here with you.
You have my physical presence, even though I am asleep.
But God in me, my divinity.
(05:36):
I never sleep or slumber.
Just keep an eye on who I amdivinely.
Focus on my divine nature.
I'm able to see what's going onBecause I am the omnipotent,
omniscience and omnipresence.
I am everywhere.
(05:57):
I am all-knowing.
Yes, humanly speaking, I amsleeping, but keep an eye on who
I am as the divine son of God.
What I've learned in my walkwith life and I always tell this
to people that we tend to seeJesus in two ways.
You can choose to see Jesus asa mere human, which is okay, or
(06:21):
you can also choose to see Jesusas divine.
Let me say that again.
We can view Jesus as believers, even unbelievers.
I have no problem withunbelievers believing Jesus as a
human being.
Even the Muslims see Jesus justas a human being, a prophet.
(06:43):
But you, as a child of God, youcall yourself a believer.
I'm talking to you.
You claim, you profess.
Hopefully you practice what youprofess.
If you only see Jesus as a humanbeing, you only focus on the
humanity of Jesus and you don'tsee the divinity of Jesus.
(07:04):
You are going to be fearful inlife when situations come in
your life, when situations areoverwhelming you, if you see
just the humanity of Jesus, child of God.
I'm here to tell you you aregoing to be fearful.
But when you see the divinityof Jesus, child of God, you are
(07:27):
going to put your faith in him.
Fear focuses on the humanity ofJesus.
Faith focuses on the divinityof Jesus.
It's up to you to choose.
Are you going to be fearful orare, are you gonna be, a man or
woman of faith?
(07:48):
Verse 41 let me continue to read.
It says and they fearedexceedingly and said to one
another who can this be?
That even the wind and the seaobey him.
This just confirms what I'mtrying to tell you.
A human being cannot commandthe sea or the wind.
(08:13):
A human being has no power overnature to command nature from
doing its work.
That is what I said before.
If you see Jesus just as a merehuman or you focus on his
humanity, you are going to befearful, but if you see Jesus
(08:38):
and focus on his divinity, youare going to have faith.
Let me read that again.
And they feared exceedingly andsaid to one another Now they
were speaking to each other whocan this be what?
You have been with Jesus allalong.
(09:01):
These disciples sometimes theyact very faithless.
These disciples sometimes theyact very faithless.
They have been with Jesus allalong.
They have seen the miracles ofJesus.
They have witnessed the signsand wonders that Jesus performed
(09:24):
on a day-to-day basis whenJesus was with them.
They have seen the divineaspect of Jesus.
They have seen and witnessedhis divinity in operation, with
all the signs and wonders.
But they are still speakingamong themselves.
Who can this be?
Wow, speaking among themselves.
(09:46):
Who can this be?
Wow?
Faithlessness is dangerous.
When you don't have faith inGod, you'll be fearful in life.
So for you to overcome fear, the Bible says we, as the just,
shall live by faith.
We, as believers, are called andcommanded, instructed, to live
(10:09):
by faith.
That even the wind and the seaobey him.
Obviously, nature has to submitto God.
Nature has to surrender to theSon of God.
The wind and the sea have nochoice.
(10:32):
They have to obey their maker.
Jesus made the sea and the wind, and they have to obey their
creator.
The creature submits to itscreator.
The creature has no power overits creator.
(10:56):
Its creator has full controlover its creature.
I know I was preaching becauseI have to full control over its
creature.
I know I was preaching becauseI have to.
I'm just flowing with theleading of the Holy Spirit.
I don't want to put God in abox, I want to just allow God to
flow.
But now we're going to get tothe teaching, because I love to
(11:18):
teach.
I love, when the Bible is sostructured, read line by line,
precept by precept.
So that is why we are going tonow examine these few verses
(11:39):
that we have read Jesuscommanding authority over the
wind and the sea.
We're going to do verse byverse, okay, okay, I like giving
points, so today I'm gonna giveyou guys seven points so it's
easier for you guys to followalong with this teaching.
We're gonna start from verse 37.
I'm gonna read and then breakit down, verse 37.
It says and a great windstormarose and the waves beat into
(12:05):
the boat so that it was alreadyfilling.
Let's stop there.
So the first point is the windand the wave roar like a lion.
What we see here is nature isroaring.
Nature is roaring.
Bible says a great wind stormarose and the waves beat into
(12:31):
the sea.
So this is a physical situationthat Jesus himself Don't forget
that.
Jesus is also in this roaring ofthe wind and the wave because
he is in the boat along with hisdisciples.
(12:51):
It's not like Jesus is not in.
It is actually literally in theboat.
He is in this situation, oh mygod, which shows that you and I,
when we are in difficultsituations in life, at times we
think that God is absent.
But I'm here to encourage youthat, no matter the situation
(13:15):
that you find yourself in, Iwant you to believe that Jesus
is present with you.
Jesus is with you in thatsituation and Jesus is behind
you.
Jesus is with you in thatsituation and Jesus is behind
you.
Jesus is beside you.
Jesus is before you to help yougo through your own situation.
Just to give an example, jesusis literally, physically, in the
(13:37):
same situation.
The wind arose, the waves beatinto the sea and look what the
Bible says that it was alreadyfilling with water.
Water was coming in the boatthat could cause both Jesus and
his disciples to drown Becausethe water was already filling in
(14:03):
the boat.
My God, this was a serioussituation and Jesus was asleep.
I'm pretty sure Jesus also isexperiencing water Getting
closer and closer and closer.
But Jesus is also in the boat, sleeping, sleeping.
(14:24):
The physical Jesus is also inthe boat, sleeping.
The physical Jesus is sleeping.
But I know the divine Jesus isawake because he is God.
He never sleeps, he neverslumbers.
The wind and the waves row.
That is our first point.
Now let's go to point b, jesusresting.
(14:48):
Look what it says in mark, chapter 4, verse 38.
But he was in the stern, thatis, the far end.
Jesus was on the rear end ofthe boat, fast asleep, heavily
(15:09):
asleep, and the boat was beingfilled with water and the waves
was beating the sea and the windwas blowing heavily and Jesus
was asleep at the rear end ofthe boat when all of this was
(15:30):
happening and Jesus was asleep,he was resting.
I can imagine, because Jesusmoved from village to village,
town to town, city to city.
He was all over the place, traveling to proclaim the gospel
message, to save lost sinners.
(15:50):
That was the purpose of Jesus.
I can imagine how physicallyexhausted Jesus was.
He had to sleep and it'sunderstandable Because he had to
be on his father's business.
He had to do the will of thefather that is, his food to
(16:13):
finish it before he departs fromthe world.
But the human side of Jesus hewas fatigued, he was exhausted,
he was tired, he was worried, heneeded to rest.
And that's what we see here.
He was actually resting on apillow.
(16:34):
You have a pillow in a boat.
I have never seen someonehaving a pillow in a boat.
Wow, he was really resting.
He wasn't having a nap, he wasresting at the rear end of the
boat on a pillow.
(16:54):
On a pillow Something very soft, something very comfortable.
Jesus resting maybe his head,it could be his entire body, we
don't know what type of pillowit is, but he was fast asleep,
resting comfortably, and hedeserved it.
(17:19):
Constantly working, constantlygoing about ministry At times,
as ministers, my advice to yousomething that we can learn from
Jesus, to bring this in apractical way we need to rest at
times, but sometimes, when weare so busy, when we are in
trouble, when we are facingchallenges, we tend not to rest.
(17:43):
Our mind is constantly runningwith anxiety and fear.
But God is saying I want you torest In the midst of that storm
.
I want you to be still and knowthat I am God.
I don't sleep, I don't slumber.
My eyes are watching, I amconstantly awake, I am
(18:06):
constantly alert, no matter thesituation.
Be still and know that.
I just wish the disciple couldremember this verse in the Old
Testament Be still and know thatI am God.
They have to be still and knowthat they have God in their
(18:28):
midst.
But they are fearful Sometimes.
The reason why we are anxious,we are fearful, is because we
don't know that God is God.
Even though we know that God isGod, we don't allow God into
that situation.
We don't invite God into thatsituation.
We don't give God theauthorization to do whatever he
(18:52):
wants to do.
We want to invite God and do itour way.
No, if you are going to inviteGod, invite God fully and give
God the absolute authority andautonomy to do whatever he wants
to do.
Don't micromanage God.
Allow him in that storm.
All you have to do just bestill and have faith.
(19:17):
Let's go to point C, thedisciples' reaction.
We're going to still read Mark38.
Look what it says.
And they awoke him and said tohim Teacher, do you not care
(19:38):
that we are perishing?
I can also understand, humanlyspeaking the overreacting.
I do that a lot.
Speaking the overreacting, I dothat a lot.
Yes, I overreact when I'm in amess.
I overreact when things are notgoing my way.
I overreact when I'm in asituation.
So I can relate with thedisciples.
(19:59):
We, as believers, we tend tooverreact too much when it's
unnecessary, especially if weclaim to believe in God.
When the Bible says greater ishe that is in us than any
situation, not just the devil.
God is greater than nature.
(20:20):
God is greater than the devilhimself and demons, but is also
greater than nature.
God is greater than the devilhimself and demons, but is also
greater than nature.
It's also greater than anyhuman circumstances.
The disciples reaction whileresponse was resting, but in the
(20:50):
midst of the wave storm and thewind storm, the response of the
disciple is overreaction.
Teacher, I can imagine teacher.
They even call him by his titleTeacher, rabbi.
That word is very significant.
Teacher, rabbi, master, you arein church over us.
(21:14):
You are our leader, you are ourteacher, we are your students.
Are you going to sit and justrelax and just rest?
Can't you see what's happeningto us?
Can't you see the boat that youare in, that we are in is being
filled with water.
(21:35):
Can't you see the waves beatinto the sea?
Can't you see the greatwindstorm and you're sleeping?
No, you canstorm and you'resleeping.
No, you can't see becauseyou're sleeping.
You can't see because your eyesare closed.
You are sleeping.
Teacher, teacher, wake up, youare sleeping.
(21:55):
They were just focusing on thehumanity of Jesus.
They were not focusing on thedivinity of Jesus.
If they can go back into theword where the Bible says be
still and know that I am God.
The disciples' reaction andthey awoke him.
(22:21):
They wake him up.
Jesus didn't wake up by himself.
They wake him up.
Jesus didn't wake up by himself.
They woke him up Because theywere desperate, they were in
trouble, and the Bible says inPsalm that God is a present help
in time of trouble.
Matter the trouble, it could bea physical windstorm or wave
(22:46):
storm, whatever it is to make itpractical for you.
I don't know what yoursituation is presently, I don't
know what you have been goingthrough, but I want to remind
you that Jesus is a present helpin time of trouble.
The Bible says they awoke himand they said to him Teacher,
(23:14):
our leader, our master, ourrabbi, we are your disciples, we
are your students.
We are your followers.
We are your students, we areyour followers.
We are in trouble.
We are in deep trouble, teacher.
What are you going to do aboutit?
Teacher, we need your wisdom toget us out of this windstorm,
(23:37):
to get us out of this wave storm.
What are you going to do,teacher?
What strategies do you have?
What wisdom are you going toapply?
Teacher, teacher, you do notcare that we are perishing.
Their reaction is so typical Ican completely relate to this
reaction.
(23:58):
We complain.
You know, god, god, look whatI'm going through.
God, you don't care.
You don't care about this.
You don't care about my life.
God, look at this mess.
God, you don't even care aboutfamily.
You don't even care about mychildren.
You know, we start't even careabout family.
You don't even care about mychildren.
We start crying, we startcomplaining.
This is a typical reaction ofeveryone, humanly speaking I
(24:22):
don't care how spiritual you arewhen you are in that type of
situation where your boat isabout to capsize.
You are in that type ofsituation where you are in the
sea and water is coming in yourboat and your boat is about to
be filled with water and you arein wave, storm and wind storm.
(24:44):
You are in deep trouble.
You need divine intervention.
So your reaction is going to becrying and complaining.
Matter of fact, you have Jesusin the boat resting.
That's an insult to you.
(25:05):
Master teacher, rabbi, why areyou sleeping?
Get up, you don't care.
He said that because Jesus wasasleep.
So they will assume thatbecause Jesus was asleep he
didn't show any sign of concern, any sign of caring, any sign of
(25:27):
compassion.
But that is not true, becauseJesus is full of compassion,
jesus cares about you.
The Bible says Peter says thesame Peter I'm preaching because
he was among them.
Cast all your cares upon Godbecause he cares for you.
Teacher, you don't care.
(25:49):
We are dying, we are dying, weare about to die.
We are dying, we are dying, weare about to die, we are about
to lose our lives.
Teacher, get up and help us.
Show some concern, show somesympathy.
But look what it says as areference Psalms 44, verse 23.
(26:09):
Awake, why do you sleep, o Lord, arise, do not cast us forever.
Even David himself taught thatGod is asleep in his situation
and he's crying out to God,complaining to God, calling on
God for God to awake, for Godnot to sleep for God to arise.
(26:37):
Sometimes we think that God isasleep, especially when we're in
deep situations in life, whenwe are in deep troubles, when
the Bible says that God is apresent help in time of trouble.
Not a past help, not a futurehelp, a present help in time of
(26:59):
any trouble, no matter thecomplexity of that trouble, no
matter the degree of thattrouble, god is present, help to
help you come out of thatsituation.
Let's go to our next point DJesus' response to the wind and
(27:23):
the wave.
Wow, jesus didn't overreactbecause he knew who he was.
He is God himself.
He is the son of God.
He didn't just see himself as ahuman being.
He is the word of God made intoflesh.
He pre-existed.
(27:43):
Like I said in my previousmessage, jesus pre-existed
creation.
Jesus pre-existed hisconception.
Jesus knows who he is.
He is the son of God.
So Jesus respond, notoverreaction, to the wind, to
(28:05):
the wave.
We're going to read that versein Mark 4, 39.
Look what it says.
Then he arose and rebuked thewind and he said to the sea
peace, be still.
And the wind ceased and therewas a great calm.
Oh, my God, let me read thatagain.
(28:25):
Then he arose and rebuked thewind and he said to the sea
peace be still.
And the wind ceased and therewas a great calm.
I Jesus didn't address firsthis disciples complaining and
(28:47):
crying, acting as if he doesn'tcare.
Obviously he cares why Jesusdidn't address his disciples'
complaints.
Instead he went straight ahead.
When he woke up, the Bible sayshe arose.
He didn't address disciplesright away and rebuke the wind
(29:12):
immediately.
I believe because of theurgency of the situation.
Don't forget that the boat wasbeing filled with water.
If Jesus did not actimmediately, indeed, I believe
they will perish.
(29:32):
I know God could do anything.
I believe God could do anything.
But if Jesus didn't actimmediately, I believe the boat,
all of them, would have drowned, maybe be alive again, because
Jesus can raise the dead.
But Jesus understood theurgency of the situation, that
(29:55):
this is an urgent matter and heneeded to deal with it right
away.
That is why Jesus didn'taddress his disciple complaints.
Instead, he acted right away toresolve the windstorm and the
(30:17):
wave storm because of its impacton all of them.
What we see here in verse 39, wesee the divinity of Jesus in
display.
We don't see the humanity ofJesus, we see the divinity of
(30:39):
Jesus.
Only God can speak to the windand the wave, only God can speak
to the air and the sea.
Only God has the capacity, thepower, the authority to speak to
mother nature.
Only God have the audacity andthe authority to speak, not just
(31:15):
to speak politely, calmly, butto speak with a commanding tone.
He rebuked the wind and when itcomes to the sea, he spoke
peace to the sea.
But to the wind, he rebuked thewind and spoke peace.
(31:38):
Be still to the sea, twodifferent words.
This demonstrates hiscommanding authority and power
over nature.
Commanding authority and powerover nature, the air, the
(32:01):
windstorm, the sea, the wave, storm, natural disaster.
Jesus has authority and thepower over any natural disaster.
(32:38):
Jesus has authority overnatural disaster To seize them,
to calm them.
First, he took care of thewindstorm.
He rebuked that word rebuke.
It means to reprove, denounceand express strong disapproval.
He didn't speak kindly, politely, calmly, to the wind,
(33:03):
the air.
He rebuked the wind storm,Harshly, authoritatively, to
state its claim that I havepower over you, I am in charge
of you, wind, so you better stop.
(33:26):
This Demonstrates itscommanding Authority Over the
heavens, the air, because that'swhere the wind is coming from.
We're going to look at otherreferences in the Bible with
regards to rebuke instances whenJesus rebuked.
(33:47):
Also see in Mark, chapter 9,verse 25, that Jesus rebuked
unclean spirits.
This demonstrates is commandingauthority over demonic entities
and powers.
We see in Luke, chapter 4,verse 39.
Jesus rebuked fever.
This demonstrates hiscommanding authority over
(34:12):
sicknesses and diseases.
Now let's look at the wave, storm, the sea.
Now Jesus said to the sea peace, be still.
He spoke calmly, softly, to thesea.
Wow.
To the sea, wow.
(34:41):
This demonstrates his absoluteauthority and power over nature,
to be specific, the sea.
That word peace, it means to bequiet and be still, to be
muzzled.
Jesus silenced the sea for thesea to stop causing noise.
Our next point E the wind andthe waves recognition, respect
(35:09):
and reception as a result ofJesus commanding authority over
them.
We are still going to read inthis same verse 39.
Let's see how the wind and thewave responded to Jesus
(35:33):
commanding authority over them.
The Bible says when Jesusrebuked the wind and Jesus spoke
to the sea.
The Bible says and the windceased and there was a great
calm.
And there was a great calmAlong the way by the command and
(35:55):
the spoken word of Jesus to thesea.
The sea obeyed the commandingauthority of the spoken word of
Jesus, even the wind and the sea.
They obeyed Jesus Christ.
The wind and the wavesrecognized the commanding
authority of the word of Jesus.
(36:17):
They respect the commandingauthority of the word of Jesus.
They received that word andobeyed the commanding authority
of the word of Jesus and, as aresult, the wind had no choice
(36:38):
to seize the sea, the wave hadno choice to become.
If we read the last verse ofthis account confirms the
obedience of the wind and thesea to jesus.
Look what it says.
(36:59):
And they feared exceedingly.
And they said to one another, not to jesus, because they're
afraid to talk to jesus, becauseof their unbelief.
So they spoke among themselves.
Who can this be that even thewind and the sea obey him?
They actually confirm theresult of the wind and the waves
(37:27):
Recognition, respect andreception of the commanding
authority of Jesus over them.
Let's move on to our next pointF Jesus' response.
There is no reaction of Jesusat all to his disciples.
(37:54):
He has dealt with the windstorm.
He has dealt with the wavestorm.
Now Jesus is going to addresswhat lies behind the complaints.
They were fearful, they didn'thave faith.
Look what it says.
(38:14):
Jesus responds.
But he said to them why are youso fearful?
How is it that you have nofaith?
Beneath their complaint, theircry is unbelief and fear.
To bring this into our personallives what lies behind our
(38:39):
complaints, our concerns, ourcares, our own beliefs and fears
?
And that is what Jesus wants toaddress in our lives.
I am convicted with this.
He said why are you so fearful?
(39:02):
Why are you being a coward?
Why are you afraid?
Why are you timid?
I am here, I am a present helpin time of trouble.
How is it that you have nofaith?
Not even faith like a mustardseed?
You have no faith at all.
(39:24):
That is a typical humanreaction.
I can put myself in the sameboat as the disciples of Jesus.
I am not going to say, oh, ifthat was me, I am going to act
by faith.
No, I am going to act in fearbecause that's my first human
(39:47):
reaction.
Except God helps me when I'm inthat situation to live by faith
, to act by faith, to understandthat he is a present help in
time of trouble, to understandthat I have to be still and know
that he is God, any givensituation that you find yourself
(40:07):
in.
Child of God, Jesus wants toexpel fear and encourage faith,
expel fear and encourage faith.
Finally, our last point G thedisciples' revelation,
(40:33):
recognition and reverence ofJesus.
Now they're seeing Jesus from adivine point of view.
Now their focus is on thedivinity of Jesus.
Before they were focusing onthe humanity of Jesus.
Look at your concludingstatement.
After Jesus have calmed thesituation, after Jesus have
(40:54):
rebuked, the wind spoke, peacebe still to the sea.
No reaction, but revelation, recognition and reverence of who
Jesus could be.
Even though they don't want tofully attest, affirm,
(41:15):
acknowledge that Jesus is indeedGod.
That is why they concluded bysaying who can this be?
Even the wind and the sea obeyhim.
Who can this be?
They were too familiar withJesus.
The Bible says they fearexceedingly.
(41:37):
See the, the humanness of hisdisciples, and I can relate to
that.
Sometimes, when people arespeaking the truth to us, we
tend not to look in your faces.
That's exactly what's happeninghere.
Jesus spoke truth to thedisciples that they are fearful
and they have no faith, and theBible says they became
(42:00):
exceedingly afraid and theyspoke among themselves.
Who can this be?
Even the wind and the sea obeyhim.
That is the revelation theyobtained and as a result of this
revelation they obtain aboutJesus, seeing his divinity
(42:21):
rather than his humanity.
They recognize that Jesus isnot ordinary.
Jesus is supernatural, jesus isGod himself and there's that
reverential fear that they havetowards Jesus.
That is why they spoke amongthemselves.
(42:41):
They could not look unto Jesus, because now they see him as
divine and they were afraid.
They revere him, they worshiphim as the son of God.
Before we conclude, I want toshare some references in the
book of Psalms to confirm thedivinity of Jesus, that Jesus is
(43:06):
God, his commanding authorityover nature, to be specific, in
this case, the air, the heavensand the sea, the windstorm and
the wave storm situation thatthey were facing in the boat.
Our first reference is Psalmchapter 65, verse 7.
(43:28):
You who steal the noise of theseas, the noise of the waves,
the turmoils of the peoples.
Psalms, chapter 89, verse 9.
It says you rule the region ofthe sea.
When its waves rise, you stillthem.
Wow, that's exactly what Jesusdid.
That is why Jesus pre-existedcreation.
(43:53):
Jesus pre-existed hisconception.
And I keep saying this seeJesus as divine, not just as
human.
If you see Jesus as human, you're going to be fearful the
rest of your life.
If you see Jesus as divine, you're going to have faith for
(44:13):
the rest of your life.
Psalm, chapter 93, verse 4.
The Lord on high is mightierthan the noise of many waters,
than the mighty waves of the sea.
Oh my God, powerful Psalms, chapter 104, verse 6 to 7.
It says you cover it with thedeep as with garment.
(44:35):
6 to 7, it says you cover itwith the deep as with garment.
The water stood above themountains At your rebuke.
They fled and the voice of yourthunder they hastened away.
Oh my God, jesus is God.
He rebuked the wind, the windceased.
He spoke peace to the waves ofthe sea and the sea became calm.
(44:55):
Finally, before we pray, I wantto read this powerful insight
Listen and in control, as hecommanded the windstorm and the
(45:17):
wave storm to cease and createdcalmness during the challenging
time while he and his discipleswere in the boats.
I don't know what you're goingthrough right now, or I don't
know what you have been goingthrough, but I want to inspire
(45:39):
you that Jesus is in control, that Jesus is God, that Jesus is
in charge, that he is a presenthelp in any given situation.
Don't react in fear, justrespond in faith and be still
(46:00):
and know that Jesus is God.
Help you to go through, to comethrough that windstorm, that
wave storm in your life.
In Jesus' name.
Amen, father, I thank you forthis word.
I know, lord, that we havelearned a lot.
Thank you for the insight, theinspiration and instruction that
(46:26):
you have given us Not to reactin fear, but to respond in faith
Lord, thank you for thisrevelation and, as a result,
produce reverence of who you areand we recognize that you're
(46:46):
not just a mere man, that youare the Son of God.
We recognize your divinesonship, that you are God
himself.
Help us not just to see youfrom a human point of view, but
to see you as divine as well.
(47:07):
Help us to focus on yourdivinity, not your humanity.
God, whatever it is, yourdaughter, your son, as they have
listened to your word, live infaith while they are going
through challenges in your lives.
Lord, right now, I pray thatyou rebuke every wind storm in
(47:30):
your lives.
In the name of Jesus, I prayright now, lord, lord, that you
will speak Peace, be still Inany wave storm in your lives.
In the name of Jesus, thank youin your precious and powerful
name.
We have prayed Amen.
God bless you.
