Speaker 2 (03:40):
Welcome, welcome to
the call, welcome, welcome.
I am your host, christine Rene, and so is Chantel Ochoa.
We are going to be talkingabout all of this beautiful
light side of archetypes and howwe can embody it in our daily
lives.
To really emphasize how thearchetypes can be embodied and
(04:03):
affect our daily life, and Ilove this idea.
I love this concept becauselast week on the show we really
talked about the shadow side andwhen we do the shadow work and
we start alchemizing the shadow, embracing the shadow, loving
the shadow, then we can startstepping into the light side of
(04:24):
our archetypes.
And when we can identify andembody that, then we can really
make a positive impact in ourlife, because you're really
embodying your higher self, you're really embodying that
grandest version of who you areand you're doing it so
consciously of like.
Okay, here's the situation.
What if I enveloped myself inthis archetype?
That's already part of who I amto the highest degree available
(04:45):
to me, and what does that feellike when I move through life?
What did I miss there, chantel?
Speaker 3 (04:52):
No, that was great
and that's exactly what it is.
And so even if we, you know, we, like I said, label them as the
archetypes, but take it to adifferent degree of the
different aspects of ourself.
And so that's what I love aboutit it is embodying our higher
self, with a conscious awarenessof how we show up and how we
(05:12):
respond and how we act incertain situations.
I did pull.
So there is a deck ofarchetypes, and so I, kind of
before we came on, asked likewho would like to come forward
in this conversation.
And so I do have a few, and Ithought, you know, because that
would be a great way of bringinga few in, and the first one
that came out is the Midas andthe Miser, and I love that
(05:34):
because it's all about our senseof abundance, right?
So when we're in our lackingmindset, that's more of our
shadow, but when we can be inthe Miser energy, that's more of
our shadow.
But when we can be in the miserenergy, that's when we can
embody the abundance, that'swhen we can start manifesting,
claiming all of the things thatwe want to have in our life and
know that it's safe, know thatit's part of our journey here
(05:57):
that it is safe to do, so wedon't have to be in this poverty
consciousness, and I just lovethat, and so that's definitely
one that we can talk about.
The Seeker came out too soAdventurous Seeker of Knowledge,
seeker of Wisdom, seeker ofTruth, nature, the child nature,
going out into the world andreally connecting with nature.
(06:19):
And Shapeshifter, which I thinkis a great one.
I love the shapeshifter andthat is the version of us that
can go out and just merge in allsituations and with different
people and um, personalities andeverything you know, I think,
in the, I feel in the spiritualworld, we, you know we might
have one gift that we'reawakened to, but the many
(06:40):
different aspects of that openup, right, and so it is like
that shapeshifter where we canbe a Reiki practitioner and we
can be a shamanic practitionerand we can go out and, do you
know, entity, retreat, you knowall those things, and here doing
podcasts, and that's usembodying that shapeshifter of
all the elements of who we are.
Speaker 2 (06:59):
Yeah, it's like
really switching out those hats.
So notice how Chantel gave uslike four brief examples of
different archetypes and like wecan use each one of those to
kind of really recognize, okay, what is the light element of
those?
Do they resonate with you?
And like how can you fully stepinto like the positive aspects
of each one?
So I say like, yeah, let's doit Like if these are the cards
(07:22):
that showed up, let's go aheadand play, hoping that they
resonate with you and differentaspects of yourself, knowing
that there's lots and lots ofdifferent archetypes.
So if you haven't listened tothe previous shows on archetypes
, know that there's, I think, 72different types that are are um
really emphasized in Carolynmisses book um Contracts, and so
(07:48):
know that like there there'sdefinitely a lot of archetypes
out there and Carolyn Missdefinitely hones in on these
primary 72 and you can reallyfind and identify with many of
them.
Usually we have 12 in ourarchetypal wheel.
(08:09):
That is like the blueprint ofyour personality, and they each
have this lighter side and thisdarker side, shadowy side, and
when we can start working withthis we can really look at the
lighter side of embodimentpractice.
So these four, let's go aheadand start with the miser Like.
I would love to like just divein and feel into each of those
(08:31):
qualities and noticing how wouldwe blanket ourselves in the
archetype Like.
I don't think you necessarilyeven need to have the archetype
in your wheel to go.
I need the miser today in mylife so that I can fully be
embodied in prosperity andknowing that other people are
happy to pay me for my services.
Right, like that energy of like.
(08:53):
How can I say you know, thisisn't part of who I am, but
today I'm going to embody itanyway and really use that
energy to put on that hat, puton that cap, cloak yourself in
it and say yes to life from thatlens.
Speaker 3 (09:11):
Yeah, so definitely I
love how you were bringing that
out is that the archetypes?
They kind of awaken within uswhat we're, we're we're moving
and how we're shifting in life,Right?
So it's not even as thecollective.
As we grow and evolve, archetypes start coming in all
the time, based on where we are.
(09:32):
So with the miser, if that'ssomething an archetype you want
to work with, that's typicallypeople who look, we're looking
at being more our own boss, opening our own businesses, our
own companies, doing our ownthing, you know, shifting away
from the nine to five.
So I'm seeing this a lot in mycommunity, where people are
really diving into what they canoffer, what are the services
(09:54):
that they have, and so the misercalling in the miser and
knowing I am abundant in all mythings, all my business, my home
and my life in general, and sothat can really help you to
start to grow in the abundanceof your business.
It's everything you touchbecomes gold, and when you know
that, it's like you are alreadyputting the intention, you're
(10:16):
declaring it right Because ourenergy will follow that.
So everything you know andtouch is going to become
abundant and successful for youtouch is going to become
abundant and successful for you.
Speaker 2 (10:28):
Yeah, absolutely.
So.
I have miser in my archetypeand right, and so notice, like
the idea of being anentrepreneur has never scared me
.
Like I would choose this anyday over a nine to five.
Like I fully want to be in myown power and my own creative
process.
I don't want to follow therules that someone else gives me
on how to do business or playby the quote, unquote the man or
(10:52):
corporations.
I've never wanted to play thatgame, ever.
I remember when I was younger, working for a giant corporation
and be like, yeah, no, I'm done,I'm not doing this.
Like if I'm not directlyimpacting someone's life,
there's no point for me doingthis.
And the Miser came in and reallyhelped me establish like I have
(11:12):
the capacity to offer servicesthat people would be willing to
pay for and not feeling badabout that Right.
So I think the shadowy side ofthe Miser is that low money
mindset, that I'm takingpeople's money and it's not
valuable or, you know, no onehas enough money to pay for my
services or you know, like thatlack mentality is like the
(11:35):
shadowy side of the miser andthe and the positive what I'm
hearing from Chantel.
It's like everything you touchturns to gold, Like knowing that
your services is of the highestquality and people are going to
be so happy to pay you inexchange for those services.
Right, and you know, like, where's the balance in that of
like here I am?
Is this like not being theprostitute?
(11:57):
Like I need to exchangeeverything?
It's the miser is like knowingthat they're valuable and
sharing their area of expertisein, in for, for money, and
knowing that that prosperity istheirs for the taking.
Speaker 3 (12:12):
Yeah, exactly.
And so, with the miser, comingforward too is what it does, is
it offers you a flow.
So, when there are certainpeople that are struggling to
pay, you know, for your services, you're so abundant that it
gives you the opportunity to say, hey, I can, you know, do a
discount on this, I can help youin this way.
Right, that's the balance thatwe can bring forward, but it's
(12:34):
because we're coming from asense of security and abundance
within ourself that we can give.
We can give even more than whatwe typically would, and I love
that with the miser is becauseit really does put a twist on
our abundant mindset.
And so what are the things thatwe can do?
We can bring forward moneybowls, right.
We can donate, we can offer to,you know, like the homeless or
(13:00):
you know.
There's just so many differentthings that we can do.
That's in abundance of givingthat in return, we receive back,
because that's the universallaw of energy, of exchange of
money.
Right Is, what we give, we'vereceived back.
It's the service of.
And so when you can line it allup and know that you are giving
of your heart, because that'sthe biggest part of it, right Is
we're giving of ourself, fromour sense of our heart of love
(13:24):
and compassion, and not ofgreediness, because the miser
can have a greedy side effect toit, can have that shadow aspect
of greed and it's all mine andthat's not when you're standing
in the light of it.
You're able to give theofferings that you have because
you're doing it in thecompassionate part of who you
are, because you're in such anabundance that it's okay to
(13:45):
offer as well, absolutely.
What are some of your thingsthat you do that help you to
bring forward that abundantmindset?
You know?
Speaker 2 (13:53):
I love creating up
sacred space for money dates.
I don't know if you guys haveever heard of this term of money
dates.
I may have mentioned itpreviously on other podcasts,
but it's where when you know youneed to do payroll or you need
to put together your payments oranything money related taxes,
(14:16):
and we were right around thecorner for doing tax season it's
really setting up sacred spaceto do your financial duties
right.
And so you are lighting candles, you're putting flowers on your
desk.
It's like really coming totoward your financial work, the
pieces of that entrepreneur thatmust be done, and doing it in a
(14:39):
sacred way.
I think so often entrepreneursare like especially spiritual
entrepreneurs.
They don't like this part ofthe job, right.
So how can you bring thespirituality into the finances?
Like, how can you bring itforward?
And before you start looking atyour QuickBooks or looking at
(14:59):
your bank accounts andreconciling those things, like,
how can you step forward in thatof going?
I can take 10 minutes tomeditate and feel into the
embodiment, the fullest of thecapacity of the miser, and
knowing that all as well andthat I can be in this flow of
abundance and then open up allof your financials Like, I'm
(15:22):
lighting the candles, I'm doingthe smudging, I'm creating
sacred space and a container.
Okay, I'm doing this for onehour, right, create the
container for it and then do itRight.
So, if you haven't got yourtaxes done, those are, do this
too, really soon.
Um, like tomorrow, right, Ithink, yeah, I think it's
tomorrow.
I've got an extension and I'mlike, yeah, I need to get that
done.
(15:42):
Um of like, doing it in sacredspace and then when you come
into that, you're giving thankyou.
Like, when I write my checks onthe memo line, it's always
thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you for the money I'm
sending out and now that we'redoing it all, like, I'm paying
my my you know, my energy billonline and paying my phone bill
online, like, and sometimesthose are all automatic.
(16:05):
So, as I go through those lineitems, can I take a moment, even
if it's just 30 seconds, andgoing thank you, thank you,
thank you for the electricity.
Can I say thank you for myinternet service?
Can I say thank you for?
You know, whatever those moneyout goes out, because it's just
like Chantel said, it's going tocome back to you and I really
(16:25):
believe that it comes back toyou in tenfold.
So if I'm giving thanks to myelectricity, I'm going to have
this abundance of energyavailable to me through through
what I need in my home.
Right Like it's, it's allowingyourself to come into that state
of awareness and abundance andreleasing that scarcity
(16:49):
mentality, and so it's reallycreating that sacred container
to do your financial work.
So look at your calendar andactually set a date of I'm going
to have a money date, I'm goingto check in with my finances,
I'm going to reconcile myaccounts, I'm going to look at
my profit loss statements, whatever it may be, and do it
with intention.
Light your candles, do yourthings to like, really set up
(17:11):
sacred space for that work.
Speaker 3 (17:13):
Yeah, yes, that's an
amazing practice Also giving
thanks to what we call debt.
Right, you can also switch theconcept of debt to your assets,
because really that means thatyou were abundant enough to be
approved for the loan you have.
You've worked hard enough tohave that credit score, whatever
it is, so it's giving us theopportunity of being in this
(17:35):
abundant state of mind, even ifwe're talking about paying our
debts down.
Speaker 2 (17:43):
Yeah Well, and I you
know, that whole conversation is
really also very interesting tome because there's such a
negative mindset around debt andwhen we can say no, no, no, no,
no, like if we can take out thenegative connotation and go I
am, this is an exchange of, I'mutilizing this asset.
It's an asset Like I have thisasset available to me so that I
can do the thing and I'm I'mhappily paying that bill every
month to pay down my credit carddebt.
(18:04):
It's it's an asset Like itallowed me to take this course.
It allowed me to take that goto that retreat or whatever it
was like it's an exchange, rightand the interest rate is worth
it right.
So it's oftentimes I'm like itis absolutely okay to go.
You know, like my going to myTantra Wasco retreat back in
(18:29):
October.
I put that on a credit cardright and I knew that the
information that came out ofthat experience was going to
come back to me tenfold right.
And now here I am.
I love teaching the divinefeminine workshops.
I love integrating it into oursoul rising course.
I'm putting out more and moreinformation on this, why?
(18:50):
Because it was that experience.
I feel like my energeticsignature expanded tremendously
by taking it all flowed fromthat experience.
My personal life shifted my, myenergy.
Experience shifted my sexualself expanded right.
Like all of these things, I'mlike absolutely freaking worth
that debt on the credit cardRight and when I can really
(19:13):
embody all of those benefits,it's going to expand out into my
clients and into my students sothat I receive money back to
pay that down.
So I it's like how can we losethe fear that we're not going to
have enough to pay it down?
And going Absolutely, if Iinvest in this, it's going to
come back to me and I really, umI.
(19:35):
That's why I encourage you totake our workshops and our
courses and programs and reallyfeel into like how is this going
to serve you afterwards?
Like how is your life going tobe so expansive that the money
of what you invested into is notgoing to be a problem, right?
So that's another way oflooking at the miser going.
How are we investing inourselves for our expansive
(19:56):
state of mind into the future?
Speaker 3 (20:00):
Yes, how are we
investing in ourselves?
That's it, that's totally it.
And you know, just on a quicknote of like, yeah, me going to
Costa Rica with you.
Part of my intention with thatwas to go and learn how to do it
, and here in May I'm hosting myfirst like retreat.
So you know, it really does.
It comes that tenfold, andthat's if you have the mindset
(20:22):
to run with it and not look atthe debt of what you spent, but
the asset and how it's going toreturn back to us.
So, yes, love that, love that Doyou want to do the seeker now?
Yeah, I totally do.
Okay, so I know the seeker isin mind.
I love yeah, it's more, I'mborn into it the Sagittarius.
(20:42):
It's definitely like I am aseeker of truth, I'm a seeker of
knowledge, I love adventure, Ilove to travel and journey and
do all those things.
So with it, the lightattributes are thirst for wisdom
and truth, wherever they are.
So the seeker within you isalways going to be in search of
truth.
It's going to be in search ofwhat and how things are going to
(21:05):
benefit you or how you canbenefit others.
But you're seeking it out andwhether it's text, whether it's
taking the classes, it's takingcourses, it's going on retreats,
it's traveling the world.
Whatever it is for you, theseeker within us is always
looking for something that'sgoing to help us to grow.
Speaker 2 (21:25):
Absolutely.
It really is looking for thatsearch for God or enlightenment
and finding its own path oftruth, right.
The shadowy side is when thatsearch becomes lost and that
you're a lost wanderer, notreally having any direction or
container in which you're doingyour search right.
(21:48):
And so how can we embody thelighter side and saying and
going?
My seeker archetype is reallyhoning in for this embodiment of
what experience, what emotionare you hoping to obtain?
Right, like having some type ofgoal.
(22:08):
Orientation can help the seekerreally stay focused on what
they're trying to obtain insteadof endlessly searching and not
really knowing where they'regoing.
Speaker 3 (22:19):
Yeah, and that is is
when we feel lost.
We can tap into the seekerwithin us so we can have that
path and we can journey awell-traveled path right, it's
kind of like being on that gooddirt the red dirt road is what
it's called.
It's like you're being able tojourney towards the things that
you're seeking because it'sheart you're calling.
You're being able to journeytowards the things that you're
(22:40):
seeking because it's heartyou're calling, you're being
called to it and whatever it isfor you.
But with the seeker, it isseeking the truth of self and if
that is the enlightenment, ifthat is your incension, if that
is you're trying to find thehigher source of all things, go
seek those things out, becausethat's an inner calling for you,
and so let the journey unfoldfor you.
(23:01):
Yeah, absolutely yeah.
For me, like all the like cominginto energy healing and
everything, that was somethingthat I think I was seeking my
whole life.
But until it showed up, Ididn't really know what it was
titled and what it was, but itwas always something in me that
I was seeking and then, once Ifound it, it was like oh there,
(23:22):
it is right, there's my goldnugget, I just found it and that
embodied.
I was able to embody so manydifferent aspects of myself
because of it.
So for a long time I think Iwas on that lost road of where
am I going and what am I doing?
And so when it came, it waslike oh, there you are.
I've been looking for you for along time.
Speaker 2 (23:43):
Right Totally, and
know that if the title of secret
is is not um, if you can'treally visualize what that is,
know that other titles for thiswould be like wander or nomad or
vagabond.
And noticing those aspects ofthe vagabond who's just going
from one adventure to the nextand really living life in the
(24:06):
present and really feeling like, yeah, there can be definitely
um shadowy aspects of like notknowing where to go next or how
to go next, and yet they'restill on that, that that
adventure side.
It kind of reminds me ofSagittarius, honestly, like that
.
That's probably why itresonates so much with you, my,
my Sagittarius friend of likehow does it really tap into this
(24:31):
?
It's not necessarily goaloriented, it's not the Capricorn
, it's the Sagittarius, whereit's really enjoying the present
and just taking one step at atime and really feeling into the
fullness of life wherever youare.
Speaker 3 (24:46):
Yeah, and you fill
with the secret too.
That's a very prominent onethat's out there right now.
A lot of people are seeking.
They're seeking where they wantto be.
A lot of people are traveling, moving from state to state, you
know wherever their hometown is.
A lot of people are moving outof it.
They're breaking old ties, youknow.
People are traveling more, wanting to live in trailers and
(25:06):
just be living the nomad life, and so, with a seeker, it's
really powerful to see it inyourself of what is it that you
are honing in on or what do youfeel like you're missing?
Because if you feel like you'remissing something, it's
typically the seeker that'sgoing to show up for you because
it's got some plan or some goalfor you but, like you said,
(25:27):
it's not being like I have thisdeadline with it.
It's being in flow of it andknowing what it is, but also
what doesn't work for you.
So when you feel something inyou that doesn't work for you,
so when you feel something inyou that doesn't resonate, that
is a seeker letting you know too.
This isn't meant for us.
We got to let that part go,release that Holding us down,
because a seeker doesn't want tobe held back.
(25:49):
A seeker doesn't want to be,you know, suppressed or
oppressed or anything, or havethe boss or have somebody tell
you you have to do this or that.
The seeker is free flow.
Speaker 2 (26:06):
Totally Like, let me
go do me.
Yeah, well, and I love this.
Like this is not one in mychart.
Like I, even though I haveSagittarius as my um moon rising
like my Sagittarius sign, Istill have seeker as an
archetype, which is interestingto me.
And also, knowing that when I'mon vacation, when I'm already
like scheduled in to be, um, tobe away from home, that is
(26:29):
typically when I like really tryto embody the seeker of going.
How can I be in flow, expectthat the universe is going to
show up for me, and all of theplaces and spaces in which I
show up, so like, for example,I'm going to Japan for
pilgrimage, this is a great timefor me to embody the seeker so
that I can, like it's almostlike having an expectation of
(26:51):
miracles happening, having anexpectation that the universe is
going to show up for me inevery place in space that I go.
So, whether it is in the hotelroom and enjoying a meal or in
the temples, right, like, howcan I be in that seeker space of
having this open-mindedness andan open heart, that, wherever I
(27:12):
am, I'm going to feel therichness of that experience?
Like that's what it feels like.
So, even though, like in myday-to-day experience, I might
not be a seeker Like and I and Iand I, really I'm I love
reading and I love like findingtruth, but it's not in the same
capacity as like the full seeker, right.
But when I'm like going on aspecific trip, that's really
(27:36):
where I find myself going.
Okay, how can I embody theseeker and really put that, that
cloak on, to be fully embodiedin that experience, right, and
so, like, that's a great way foryou to start to feel into it.
Like, maybe it's not part ofyour everyday life, maybe it's.
I'm taking a day trip or I'mgoing to the library, right,
(27:58):
like, like there's some littlepieces that you can just go.
Okay, in this moment I'm justgoing to put on that seeker hat
and go reveal to me the book inwhich is going to help open my
eyes to broader horizons, orwhatever it may be, and let your
intuition be utilized throughthe seeker archetype.
Speaker 3 (28:17):
Yeah, it doesn't have
to be a big trip, like you said
.
It's going to the library, it'sgoing to some workshop, a
ceremony, whatever it is that ishappening near you.
Sometimes it's just doing thelittle things, but it brings
forward a sense of truth withinyou, a knowing or a knowledge
that you needed to learn, andthat's really all it is is
seeking that within you isknowing your own heart, knowing
(28:38):
all it is, is seeking thatwithin you is knowing your own
heart, knowing your own voice, the seeking, the wisdom within
which, then, can bring us to thechild, the nature child, which
I think I'm doing that a littlebit.
You know, I had a dream lastnight and I don't remember the
whole dream, but at the end Iwas snuggling with my lion, with
(29:00):
my power animal, and I was like, oh my gosh, and he totally had
his head like over my shoulderand I was looking at him, right
like in his eyes, and it wasjust, I've never, that's never
happened in any of my journeysor experience with lion.
He's always just really strongwith me and a very powerful
(29:20):
protector.
But no, he was.
I'm like, oh, maybe I neededthat love.
I don't know.
I'm still sitting with it, butthat's what I woke up to this
morning was literally likehanging out with my lion, which
was a trip, so having childnature coming up and hanging out
in nature and letting nature beour healer, as well as going
(29:40):
out and sitting in nature, sitting with the trees, sitting
on the grass, the dirt, whateverit is, hanging out with your
animals at home and knowing whattheir presence is for you, and
so that is something like mepersonally I'm dealing with,
because I have animals andsometimes I feel like they kind
(30:00):
of entrap me at home because Ihave the responsibility of them
and there's things I know thatare coming up and I need to find
sitters and all these thingsand it kind of, um, it's
difficult for me.
That's one of I'm on the shadowaspect of that right now,
trying to figure out why I haveanimals and I have things to do.
I'm going on a trip and I I gotto figure it out and so, yeah,
(30:24):
myself, Right, totally.
Speaker 2 (30:25):
So.
Note that in the archetypesthere's, I believe, six
different child archetypes andnature child is one of them.
And really Nature child is oneof them.
And really I feel like thenature child is like how you
(30:46):
really can step into nature andsee the magic and nature, right.
So this is talking to animals, talking to the plants, really
enjoying the miraculousness thatis inherent in nature, like
what's the miracle around you, right, the flowing water, the
breeze, like all of it, andreally feeling and tapping into
that space, like so the lightestside is like if you're, let's
(31:06):
say, you're, going camping, there's no fear of getting lost
in the woods.
It's like all of nature isgoing to support me and take
care of me, and like natureherself is going to help me tap
into my, the safety in which Ican exist here, right, this is
why I love that our book clubright now we're just finishing
up book club on Brady andsweetgrass and when you read
(31:27):
this book it's just like, ohyeah, nature is all around us.
Like it's so clear that theauthor has this archetype like
fully, fully, fully in her, thisarchetype of of I can come to
nature with a listening ear, oflike are you available to help
(31:48):
support me?
Is there a if I ask for yoursupport, will it be freely given
or will I hear a no?
And can that no be honored andnot taken like, not taken
advantage of Right?
And so it's this inherent, flowy communication with all of
nature around you, and I justlove like.
(32:09):
So if you're looking for thethe most embodied, fullest
archetype of the child spirit ofnature, go read Brady and
sweetgrass, cause it's just soevident.
And then it's like bringing inthose aspects of play right.
Like I, my daughter is verymuch the child with nature,
because I just send her outside, like if she's dysregulated, if
(32:35):
she's having a lot of anxiety,it's just like go outside, just
go outside, come back in an hour.
You're going to feel so muchbetter.
Why?
Because it feeds her soul.
So, yeah, she might come homewet because she's playing in the
Creek and it's 40 degreesoutside and that doesn't
surprise me.
She might like the other day Iwas teaching a class and I
(32:57):
wasn't home and I came back andshe had like made a staff, like
she had found a stick, broughtit home, put it in the bathtub,
scrubbed it down, found somesandpaper, sanded it off,
decorated it with all of hernature art, like feathers and
homemade braids and all thesethings.
And I'm like cool.
(33:17):
She's in her energy of thenature, spirit of like, the
child within her Right, and soit's utilizing this, this energy
of like I'm one with nature, and how can it support me in
feeling my most expansive self,like?
(33:38):
I love it when children havethis archetype because they're
so free in nature.
It doesn't scare them, right.
Like there's some like.
My son is completely different.
He's the opposite.
He doesn't want to get dirty,he doesn't like it.
Like, and he's 18 and he'sstill this way.
Like I remember he came homeyesterday, he was doing his
internship and he was makinghimself dinner.
He's like all right, mom, likeI really just don't like having
(34:02):
anything on my hands.
Like I just can't handle myhands being dirty.
I'm like, yeah, I know youcouldn't.
Even when you were two, Icouldn't set him down in the
grass because his whole bodywould cringe.
If I try to set him down onbare grass, he couldn't handle
it.
He would like playing in themud was never something he would
do, right.
Versus my daughter completelyopposite child I'm never
(34:25):
surprised if she is covered headto toe in dirt and has rolled
around in the mud, like I'm like, yeah, yeah, yeah, like this is
fine, and so it's like honoring, like she can embrace it.
But how would my son, whoreally struggles in nature, like
he doesn't do camping very well, like he doesn't do those
(34:45):
things he's starting to find theappreciation is like okay, I
can exercise, he likes exercise,so if he can go for a big run
up a mountain, he's missing alot of that appreciation of
nature along the way.
But he enjoys the view at thetop of the mountain Right, and
so it's like, okay, in thatmoment he might be able to grasp
(35:05):
this appreciation for natureand the childlike wonder of
nature of like, wow, I'm at thetop of the mountain and so it's,
how can we invite it evenfurther to slow down and play
along the way?
There's the child aspect ofthis, of how can we playfully
engage with nature.
Speaker 3 (35:26):
Yeah, yeah, when I
was a kid we so our house is
near the riverbed and that wasthat was our everyday.
That's what we did.
We had the you go out and playwhen the sun rises until the
lights come on, kind of thing, and we would go and gather frogs
and tadpoles and create theselittle compounds for our, our
(35:47):
pet frogs, and connect all theseboxes together and make ponds
and different things in theboxes.
Um, but that's how, like wegrew up.
And then now it's the other dayI was we're doing some yard work
in the front and there's pilesof dirt.
I'm just sitting in therebreaking the clumps of you know,
I'm just playing in it and myhusband's laughing at me.
He's like what are you doing?
(36:08):
I'm like I don't know, I'm likegrounding, but I really love it
.
It's so tangible and thebreaking of the clumps of the
dirt and the way it I don't knowit was just it was good, it was
soothing in the moment and soit's being playful in it.
It's still being able to getdown on the ground and play in
the dirt and do your sandcastles and kind of stuff like
that, whatever it is, but it'swhat calls to us in the moment
(36:30):
and allowing ourselves to getour hands dirty if we're not
afraid of it, right?
But for those who are justsitting on a porch, just take it
in the view.
Sometimes that's really all youneed you know, and that's okay.
Like you're saying.
Like when you get to themountain, look at the vistas and
let that speak to you, yeah.
Speaker 2 (36:48):
It's interesting
because, like my child archetype
is the divine child, very muchlike more on the mystic child
side of things.
And looking at my life of likewhat do I really want to find my
edge in with the summer?
Like summer is going to be inMontana here in the next couple
months, like yes, it's a couplemonths out, like we are getting
(37:08):
snow here still.
And going, like what wouldreally help me find my edge in
nature?
And really it's like I don'tremember the last time I got my
feet muddy or I walked in dirtor did some Creek walking one,
because the water here isfreaking cold Right, like I get
that.
And how is that finding my edge?
(37:29):
Like not necessarily outside ofmy comfort zone, but going this
is going to help me tune intothe, the, the child nature
archetype and really feeling thewisdom and connection with all
of nature and not separate fromher.
Speaker 3 (37:47):
Yeah, there's no
separation.
And so then, when we get intothe shapeshifter which I do,
love this one.
So the light attribute of theshapeshifter is skill and
navigating through differentlevels of consciousness, the
ability to see the potential ineverything and so, collectively,
(38:08):
you know, in society, beingable to merge with different
aspects of people and differentways of life.
But it's also within thedifferent layers of ourself and
our consciousness.
And where are we?
So, if you think of, like, ourenergy centers, from, like, root
to crown, right, they're twodifferent aspects of ourselves.
So root is very earthy, it'svery connecting to our sense of
(38:31):
stability, our security, ourchildhood, right.
Whereas in having a strongfoundation, then we go into
crown and that's very like we'relifting ourself up, we're
seeing a much broader view ofeverything and we're unattached
from most of the experiences oflife, right?
So we're not a much broader viewof everything and we're
unattached from most of theexperiences of life, right, so
we're not having an emotionalattachment because we're seeing
(38:51):
things from a bigger perspectiveand understanding it.
So it's being able to shiftbetween all the different
aspects of ourself, whether it'swork, it's play, it's
friendships, how, like, if youthink of all your different
friends, I'm sure they don't allmatch up, right?
They're not all cookie cutterfriends, they're all different
aspects of who you are bringingin different versions of you and
(39:13):
having that friend that you cango out and be like, hey, let's
go do this.
And then another friend mightbe your quiet friend that wants
to go and talk about the booksand do that, and then you have
your party friend that wants togo out and be wild for the night
, you know, know.
So these are all the differentaspects of ourself and each one
is showing up and being a mirrorof ourself, because the
shapeshifter is allowing us tobe able to mold and shape to
(39:34):
each of them as well.
Right, and?
Speaker 2 (39:36):
so I think the like,
the judgment on the shapeshifter
is kind of like the trickster, like your face, like right, and,
and it's her highest capacity, that light version is more of
how can you like?
I think the highest version islike how can you do the healing
work necessary to embodydifferent, these different
(40:01):
aspects, right, like, I think,of the shape shifter, um, from
like the shaman's point of viewof in one moment I can be in my
lioness energy and in the nextmoment I can be in the energy of
bear and in the next moment Icould be in the energy of fish
and how can I embody the powerof my power animals to do the
(40:25):
healing work?
Like that's, also like an aspectof the shape shifter and
utilizing the power of whateverhat you're putting on.
And I love, like the, the likeboth versions, what Chantel is
telling you and what I'm tellingyou have their, their, this
beautiful mystery about them, oflike what feels good and the
moment of like.
(40:45):
How can you be most expansivein that shape shifter energy
versus like the moment of like?
How can you be most expansiveand that shapeshifter energy
versus a trickster of like I'mtricking you and I'm trying to
like emotionally manipulate thesituation to get something I
want Right, like that would bethe shadow aspect.
Speaker 3 (40:58):
Yeah, that's the
personal agenda.
Yeah, but you know, we're alsoall shapeshifters.
If you look at it like you're amom, you're a wife, you have a
job, you know, so you can go towork and you have that hat that
you're wearing, and then you gohome and now you're being,
you're playing the mom, nowyou're playing the wife, you're
playing the caretaker right, youplay the friend.
It's.
(41:18):
We are all doing this every day.
We just don't look at it likethat.
And so when we can see it like,oh wait, that's a shapeshifter
that's showing up, how can Iembody the best version of
myself as a mom right now?
How can I be a nurturer and acaretaker?
And then how can I turn aroundin the same day and become the
lover, you know?
And then how do I wake up thenext morning?
(41:40):
Now I got to go and be the bossat work and or hold space for
your clients, you know.
And so we are shape-shiftingevery day, all day, so that we
can be all the different layersand levels of ourself and
noticing how stressful it can bewhen you're trying to wear more
than one hat at a time.
Speaker 2 (41:58):
Like when, in the
morning, if I am really need to
be in my mom role and I'm alsochecking, checking my Facebook
messenger and responding tostudents.
And like trying to come up withmy to-do list for the day and
also make the breakfast and packthe lunches.
(42:19):
And like be mom and besupportive and to my children
and helping them get out thedoor.
Like when you're trying to wearmore than one hat at a time,
how complicated that feels, howdisorganized it feels, and
taking a breath of going.
Like which role am I in rightnow and can I honor that Right?
(42:39):
Can I just be in the presentmoment with my child, if I'm
meant to be a mother right now?
And how can I say no?
And this is something that mykids get onto me all, not all
the time, but like enough ofgoing.
Mom, what are you looking atright now?
Like I want to have aconversation with you.
You're getting distracted,right?
Yep, I'm doing it again, Right.
Like I'm looking at somethingfor work and not paying
(43:00):
attention to my 18 year old, trying to have like a um, you
know heartfelt connection.
Like whoops, I don't.
I'm not wearing the right hatright now.
I'm in the shadowy side of likenot being fully present in the
role that I'm being asked to bein right now.
Speaker 3 (43:15):
Yeah, and the phones
are a big issue in a lot of
relationships right now, becausehow many times do you get into
your phone for one thing and youend up scrolling for like 20
minutes on something you didn'teven go into?
For You're like, how did I getinto Facebook and I was going
into my bank account or whatever?
You know and all people see isthis they don't know what you're
(43:36):
looking at and where yourmindset is and why you're in
there.
They just know there's thisdetachment, and so we are really
having to be aware of that, especially as entrepreneurs,
when everything's in our phoneand I used to not be, you know,
2015, 20 years ago, and now it'severywhere and so it is being
conscious and making sure thatwe're available in the
(43:56):
relationships that we're growingand developing in our life, so
that we don't push our peopleaway based off of what that one
hat is, based off of what thatone hat is.
And so, yeah, being that shapeshifter, knowing in the moment,
what hat am I playing right now?
What role do I have right now?
Speaker 2 (44:12):
Absolutely so.
A little recap we went throughfour of the main four of the 72
archetypes of the Midas, theMiser, the Seeker, the Nature
Child and the Shape Shifter andknow that this is like small
scratch of the surface.
And if you're ready to dive indeeper, chantel has got a six
(44:32):
week masterclass coming up atthe end of the month.
Do you want to tell us a littlebit about this opportunity to
kind of dive in deeper to thearchetypes?
Speaker 3 (44:42):
So with them in the,
in the masterclass, we're going
to be working with the victim, the prostitute, the saboteur and
the child that you resonatewith the most, and for a week
each we're going to walk withthem.
There will be journal promptsthat you'll be provided.
You're going to be noticing andhaving full awareness of self,
(45:03):
of like, how is the victimshowing up for me right now?
How am I alchemizing that intothe warrior aspect of myself and
then going into the saboteurhouses?
How am I sabotaging myself?
So it's really bringing in aconscious awareness of yourself
so that you can shift your ownconditioning, your own patterns.
And at the end of it we'regoing to have a week of
(45:24):
integration where you're goingto work, a week of integration
where you're going to work withall of them.
You're going to be integratingall of the information and
wisdom that you've learned aboutyourself so you can apply this
to your day-to-day.
And when you apply it, everyday is a day of learning a
aspect of yourself.
But eventually you start tobreak those, um, the
conditionings that hold you back.
And that's really what it is.
(45:45):
It's going through the healingprocess so that we can be fully
empowered, fully embodying ourhigher self and stepping into
who we want to be and who we seeourself as, without all the
layers of conditioning and stufflike that.
So I'm really excited about it.
It's going to be a lot of fun.
It's going to be a lot of workand a lot of it just is, but I'm
(46:06):
going to be a lot of fun.
It's going to be a lot of workand a lot of um, it just is, but
I'm going to be there tosupport you through the whole
thing.
Yeah, and it's very interactive.
Speaker 2 (46:13):
I, and I love it.
Like, I feel like, um, Idefinitely did this one-on-one
with Chantel and it's just.
It really helps you recognizewhat your strengths and
weaknesses are and how toalchemize yourself into that
highest version of who you are.
And so knowing where thesaboteur is showing up, knowing
where the prostitute showing up,knowing where your victim is
(46:35):
showing up, is such an impactfulpiece of your healing journey
and just bringing what's in thesubconscious into the conscious
Cause when we have things in theconscious, then we can have a
conscious choice about how werespond to different situations.
So I highly recommend thismasterclass.
Chantelle, will you let us knowwhat the dates are and the
