Speaker 2 (06:39):
Welcome to our
Whispers of Wisdom.
You're joined with myself, christine Rene and Chantel Ochoa
for this wonderful conversationthat we're going to have on how
to activate our chakras.
Like, here's our top tips andtricks to really dive into
chakra activation.
And when we were thinking aboutthis topic, it was like we we
(06:59):
recognize that we had a guestspeaker not too long ago,
jessica Mangum If you haven'twatched her episode, it's fun
and we were like I want to dothat.
And it was just like this easyconversation about what works
for you, what works for me ashealers, what we actually do to
help support ourselves stay inalignment.
And I was like, oh, this will bea great topic for Chantel and I
(07:21):
to talk on the chakras, becauseI feel like we we, there's
always going to be, there'salways going to be stuff.
You know what I mean.
There, there's always stuff.
We were living life we're noton vacation here on earth Like
there's stuff, there's alwaysgoing to be stuff.
And so learning how to activateand maintain our chakra health
is super important and I lovewhat Chantel just said is that I
(07:48):
would say the majority of timein the past I've heard people
about like, oh, I want toactivate my third eye.
How do I open to spirit Likeit's all this upper chakra stuff
, and now it's like, all right,I got deep work to do.
It's the lower chakra, so speakmore on that.
Speaker 3 (08:05):
It definitely is.
I don't know if it's becauseit's the the age group that I'm
in now and you know.
And so you get to that place inlife where you start looking
back and you realize all thethings you've been holding onto
and it's ready to come up to thesurface and to start healing
that.
But even with younger people, Ijust noticed that the
conversation is shifting.
There's a lot of people thatwant to get into ceremony work
(08:27):
and they want to be doing thedrumming and connecting with
sound tools and energy work andwhen they do that, they're
seriously like I want to focuson what I need to do to stay
connected and grounded.
I want to focus on the innerchild work.
Like literally, I just had aconversation with a friend right
now and she's like, oh yeah,I'm doing all kinds of inner
child work.
Like literally, I just had aconversation with a friend right
now and she's like, oh, yeah,I'm doing all kinds of inner
child work and she's in her late60s and I'm like good for you,
(08:51):
but she's so happy and excitedabout life and she's like, yeah,
we're just healing this.
And I'm like you know, that isliterally the conversations that
I'm having.
I'm so excited for peoplebecause there's no fear anymore
about what's going to come, whenbefore people were just
bypassing it and like, oh no,well, we're not talking about
that anymore.
It's like almost like thesweeping it under the rug era is
(09:14):
kind of coming to an end andwe're not having to go and, you
know, blurt it out and all that, but we're doing this inner work
in our own way.
That's kind of like.
It's just amazing to experienceand watch and witness.
Speaker 2 (09:29):
Yeah, oh, I love that
is.
It kind of reminds me of yearsago.
I remember having a potentialclient or student.
They were talking to me andthey were like well, I'm so glad
you're not one of those coachesputting like naked pictures of
yourself on the internet anddancing around a wildfire.
You know, like that was likethe sentiment, right, like this
(09:50):
fear of the wild feminine Right.
And and now it's like I I gotan email from one of my
colleagues, mentors, and hereshe is, in her late sixties and
she's naked, sprawled out over atree branch in the jungle, and
I'm like, yeah, like this isfine, this is fine people.
(10:12):
And it's because people aregetting in touch with their
lower chakras.
It's like it's connecting withthe earth, it's connecting with
the fire, it's connecting withthis primal energy right, and
we're not running away from itanymore.
I think there's there's beenthis gravitation towards, but
now we're kind of at the apex oflike, okay, spiritual community
(10:35):
is out there, I love you.
And we got to do this work.
We got to connect with earth.
I taught a student in personhow to do Sufi grind, which is
just this sacral chakraactivation of like moving our
hips and really energeticallygrounding down the earth, like
drilling down the earth with anenergetic core to meet mother
(10:56):
earth's energy and really beable to connect that way.
And she was like this has beena game changer.
I'm like it was a 10 minuteexercise, you know what I mean.
And she was like this has beena game changer.
I'm like it was a 10 minuteexercise, you know what I mean,
and it was like game changeractivation, so that she can do
it regularly and feel grounded.
And I'm like I think there is.
(11:17):
There's this, this emphasisright now of like we're done
with the bypassing, when we'redone with the filters, like you
know how, like it wasn't toolong ago that you couldn't go on
Instagram without like findingthe perfect filter to make sure
your makeup was on Right, youknow, like all of these things.
And now it's like no, we'regetting real people.
We're just going to do thefreaking work, we're going to
get in touch with our shadowside, we're going to do the
(11:37):
child healing stuff, and maybethat's where our company is too.
Like I, I I'm always curiousabout like.
Is this like?
Did we do something different?
Did Chantel, isabel and myself?
Are we going deeper into it?
I think we are, and it hasalways been the emphasis within
(11:57):
our, our, our group, our company, to always go downward first,
like Always, always it'sbeginning and I think we only
switched at one time and we wereall three like, no, that didn't
work.
Speaker 3 (12:09):
But let's go back.
We're root up instead of crowndown or heart down, and and it
was I yeah, that was a big eyeopener that people we need to
heal in a like in a certain way,and it is from the root up
because it brings everything upbut connects you to that earthly
experience.
And then you're just purgingand I love that.
You said primal.
(12:31):
I am like totally in this energyright now of so I did a new
moon on Saturday night and sowith that, all the energy I was
in was like primal energy andfearlessness and releasing and
Phoenix rising.
I'm like, my gosh, like we'rein the solar eclipse.
We are in it, we're thickcollectively because that's what
(12:53):
I'm tapping into.
And so when you said that, I'mlike yes, it is, it's primal
healing.
It's primal like we're gettingdown into the depths of it, but
yet it doesn't feel like we arejust clawing at our you know,
past scars.
We're not, we're just peelingback layers of it and letting
ourself just be seen.
And I just yeah, so manyvulnerable, so much
(13:16):
vulnerability is happening outthere in a very empowered way.
Speaker 2 (13:20):
Yes, and I think
that's what I want to like
emphasize is that right nowwe're in a time where
vulnerability is honored.
Speaker 3 (13:30):
It's sexy, it's sexy,
it's like the new sexy it is.
Speaker 2 (13:34):
Oh my God, I love,
like, yes, to be vulnerable to
have these intimate spaces.
It's the new sexy.
It is the new sexy and I thinkpart of it is just like.
It's the new sexy, it is thenew sexy and I think part of it
is just like.
What does primal mean to you?
What vocalizations are youmaking?
How do you move your body?
Like, how are we getting intouch with nature?
(13:54):
How are we getting in touchwith our own feminine cycles?
Like, and going even deeper tolike, what does it smell like?
Like really getting the primalabout it.
Like I'm, um, I very muchrecently have, um, I I don't
want to be, I don't know, uh,tricked by essential oils.
(14:14):
You know what I want to smell.
Other humans Like I, I want toknow what their pheromones smell
like.
I want to, like, I want toreally tap into the senses and
all of that.
That primal nature is very muchour lower chakras, like we're
talking both root and sacral.
When we get into those placesand spaces and when we can get
(14:37):
into, I want to get my hands inthe garden.
I want to connect with my quote, unquote I'm going to garden so
I can connect with my rootchakra.
Like, we have students that, dothat.
But I'm like no, no, no.
Smell the earth like, put yourhands in it and feel the texture
of the earth.
Is it dry, is it Sandy, is itclumpy, is it clay?
Like what is the texture Like?
(14:58):
That level of sensuality reallyallows us to open to all of our
senses and the senses of life, you know, and so I love, like
when we can really tap intothose primal natures and going,
okay, now if I was touching thatbeautiful, gorgeous earth like
and it's crumbling through myfingers, what sound wants to
(15:20):
come out of my mouth at the sametime, like, really like getting
in touch with the whole body, experience of like I kind of
just want I can't wait for oursnow to melt, so I go roll
around the dirt Like I and I'venever done that before, I've
never been the person like Idon't like getting dirty, like I
barely can walk barefootbecause I'm kind of I'm a clean
(15:43):
person and now I'm like no, no,no, I want to roll in it, I'm
going to have leaves in my hair.
Speaker 3 (15:50):
I want to smell it
next week with twigs.
Speaker 2 (15:55):
I'm like yes, because
if it does was a snow four
inches over the next, like threedays, so I don't think that's
going to happen anytime soon, but wait till this summer.
Speaker 3 (16:03):
Okay, this summer
we're looking for the twigs in
the hair.
Speaker 2 (16:07):
Right and so, and
what we're talking about is
those lower chakras and likereally getting in touch with
them, and so I'm like I'mcurious for you, chantel, what's
your like go-to tuning intapping into that root chakra,
sacral chakra, primal energy?
Speaker 3 (16:29):
Okay.
So for me it's definitely it'sdirt, it's fire.
I love a good fire.
I love like this.
Last week I spent a week withmy husband in the Mojave Desert,
and so that's where he worksand he's on a piece of land that
is just raw.
It's just desert and huge opensky, and so I was just loving it
(16:53):
.
I was barefoot the whole time.
He's like careful.
I'm like no, I'm good.
I'm like give me some dirt.
I was like creating my own likesoft dirt, like it was like
hard and packed Right.
But then you dig into it andthen this really luscious, like
dirt and soils under it is justdesert.
And so I was teaching class andstuff and I would just go and
sit under the stars and I'm likewhere's the fire?
(17:15):
We need a fire, we needed thisand that.
I'm like that to me for root.
Yeah, absolutely.
You give me the sky and dirtand a fire pit.
I'm good to go.
Speaker 2 (17:26):
Yeah, right.
Well, I noticed what it feelslike when you have that perfect
scenario for you, when you havethe dirt, you have the sky, you
have the fire, and how, where doyou feel it in your body?
Speaker 3 (17:37):
Oh yeah, you feel it
Like for me it's so.
It's like the soul is justcalling to me.
To him it was interestingbecause he was fine where he was
at.
You know, he's got his spot,he's posted up where he is and
I'm like come over here, comecheck this out.
And so to him he was like whatare you talking about?
I'm like, nevermind, I'm doingme, let me go do me.
Because that's what I need andso.
(18:00):
But you know, and then there'sother things, like definitely
I'm really into patchouli rightnow and you're talking about
essential oils.
That is such a grounding andearthing essential oil that I
love, so I use that a lot inpractice and it just helps me to
stay grounded and connected, but at the same time I can lift,
(18:20):
so that's a really good one.
Speaker 2 (18:24):
Yeah, totally time I
can lift, so that's a really
good one.
Yeah, totally Well, and I lovethat, like recognizing that your
partner wasn't in your vibe andyou were like, cool, it's all
good, I'm going to do my ownthing over here.
And what it reminded me of isthis um, pull towards nature,
this pull towards I don't know II'm just watching my daughter
(18:45):
right now of how she's in thedirt and she's 12.
And like a lot of times, 12years are getting into makeup.
My daughter was literallycollecting cattails and making
cattail food over the weekendand I'm like, yes, you go, girl,
like stay in that childhoodplay and she's learning how to
kind of be ingenious of likemaking food with, with our
(19:10):
indigenous plants and our area.
And I just love this kind oflike witchy nature that she is
tapped into and she's reallycomfortable in it.
And I think it's because, well,one, I'm her mom and I'm like
I'm not going to, I'm not goingto tell her no on any of those
things, right, and so it's kindof like I'm waiting for nature
(19:31):
to wake up here, like we'restill very much in winter, like,
and I'm like this year, this isgoing to be the year I'm going
to go collect my red cloverflowers.
Like I have been out of stockfor five years and this is the
year that we're no excuses,we're heading to the mountains,
we're getting the plants that Ineed, and it's that like and I I
(19:55):
love that feeling Like itreally comes down to this
feeling of like I want my feeton the mountain, I want my, I
want my hands grazing over thegrasses, I want to smell the,
the wildflowers and then knowinghow to collect and how to
collect that's in honoring ofnature and and just getting in
(20:17):
tune with, with when things aregrowing and how things are
growing and how much isresponsible to take and how much
is is really meant to stay andnot take too much, and how are
we communicating with the earthand communicating with the
plants?
Like all of that feels veryroot chakra to me and right Like
(20:38):
that is where I'm really likeoh, I cannot wait.
And for now, yeah, I'm probablygoing to go muck out my goat
barn, like and I haven't donethat in probably a good nine
months because I have acommunity of people and I've
taken a break, and now I'm likeall right, I'm ready to be the
goat mom again.
I'm, I really need to go muckout some barn stalls and, and it
(21:00):
really is this, like this, getting in, um, full in the
activation.
One it's the muscles, like it'sactually doing hard labor, farm
work, and two, it's like, onceagain you have these land,
animals and the smells and youknow it feels you're not
(21:21):
thinking about the politics, you're not thinking about what
is next on your to-do list whenyou're out mucking a barn.
Like you're just not, and Ilove that, I love that.
And it's not about like, whatmusic can I put in to?
You know, take my mind off ofthings.
It's no, like I'm really in thephysical labor of it and I love
(21:42):
that as a very, very Rudyactivation.
Like it's, it feels so good.
And so I don't know, forsomeone in the urban world, is
this how you clean out a cat box?
I have no idea, but like, likeI don't want to do that.
Well, right, but like I'll sayit took some training at box.
Speaker 3 (22:07):
Um, it's definitely
not my favorite chore, but you
know, when you're talking aboutthat, I could just see all the
joy that it's bringing.
And what it was reminding me ofis the thing is is when we are,
whatever activity it is, whenwe are in our joy, you cannot be
in a negative mindset at thesame time.
It doesn't work.
(22:27):
So it's like that is it?
It doesn't matter what it isthat you want to do, just go do
it.
Whatever calls to your heart.
Go do it, cause that's going toactivate you in all of your
chakras, it's going to light youup, it's going to balance you,
it's going to bring all thebliss to your life, because
you're resonating in the momentsof life that make you happy and
your mind cannot go negative.
(22:48):
And if it does and you're justlike, nope, that's not, I'm not
doing that because you're inyour happy place.
And so it really is importantfor us to find those little
niches in the world forourselves and not just think I
don't have time for it.
And I really do feel thatthere's a lot of people where we
are having this shift right now, where we're making the time to
(23:08):
do it.
Yeah, and you may not evennotice it in your life, like, oh
I am, but look at it, where areyou putting your time and your
energy and your efforts and yourintentions?
But look at it, where are youputting your time and your
energy and your efforts and yourintentions?
And if it's not fulfilling, youcarve a little bit of time out
and just go do that.
Just go do that.
One thing might not be catboxes I mean, I don't recommend
that one but definitely havingyour moments of just happiness.
Speaker 2 (23:36):
Well, and I think
that's where the truth is for
everyone, it's in those joyfulplaces.
And what's your joyful places?
Your authentic joyful places, not what you see everyone else
taking a bubble bath, so that'sgot to be the thing.
Like, no, no, no, what is itfor you?
What really actually lights youup and what does that look like
?
And then, feeling your body, which chakra does this orientate
(23:56):
with?
Like, where are you actuallyfeeling it?
So, even if I'm talking aboutyou know, whatever it may be,
like baking, like yeah, it couldbe sacral chakra, but maybe
it's heart, like I know, like Iknow I I tend towards certain
activities depending on my mood, like, if I am actually really
(24:18):
quite upset and distraughtdistraught is the right word I'm
going to be baking and I'mgoing to be baking.
I'm going to be baking untilI'm not distraught anymore.
But part of it is that then Iend up with all of this food and
someone has to eat it, andthat's where it's activating my
heart is that I get to now sharemy food with others and watch
their joy eating my goodies,right.
(24:39):
And so, even though it feelslike in the moment, I'm very
much in my sacral of creationand really feeling into flavor
combinations and all of thesethings.
But the real joy for me, likethe, the activity is not it's.
It's a little bit of adistraction and an activation to
(25:00):
move out whatever was gettingstuck there.
But then in the heart it's likeI loved calling up my neighbors
and saying, hi, everyone, ifyou all want to come over and
grab a muffin, that would reallybring me joy.
And having 20 people show up atmy house right Like I, well,
and I live in a in a co-housingcommunity, so like that's not
(25:21):
weird, that part is not weird, but like how it can, how are we
bringing our joy to others andhow like?
So there's a bit of like, here's the lower chakras, but
then then you're able to bringit up in your heart space and
share it.
Speaker 3 (25:40):
Yeah, yeah, because
you're in the nurturing with
your sacred, but then, at thesame time, you're giving and
you're in that love, and so whenyour love is being baked and
then you offer that, others arefeeling that too, yeah, and then
it motivates them or inspiresthem to go do something, and
then it's like you're paying itforward, right.
(26:00):
Well, I went to Christine's andI got some goodies this morning
, and now I'm going to go and dothis for somebody else because
it's like this feel good thattrickles, has this trickling
effect.
Speaker 2 (26:09):
Well, I think about
my neighbors.
Like the other morning I waskind of doing my gratitude list,
which I highly recommend, like, yes, it is a chakra activation.
Is doing your gratitude list.
Where does that land for you?
For me, it's definitely heartspace.
And I was thinking about myneighbor, peter, and how much I
love Peter because he is our.
(26:30):
He's our neighbor that helpswith all of the projects.
Like, if it has wood involved,he is involved.
If there's tools involved, he'sinvolved.
And he is this retired guy whostill has energy Right, and so I
just I he came over to my porchthe other day and my daughter
(26:51):
was trying to chip off the paintof this old table that really
needs to be redone.
And she's trying.
And he comes over and he's likeI got the right tool.
And so he goes to the tool shedand he brings out a sander and
then he looks at it and and youknow, and here's my daughter.
The reason, one of the mainreasons I moved into co-housing
was so that my daughter, who hassevere social anxiety, would
(27:15):
know that other people are safe.
And I'm watching my daughterand him have this conversation
through my window about thistable and how they're going to
like tackle this project and I'mnot involved, I'm not even in
the conversation and it just litmy heart up so much to be like
my daughter run and go mom.
I had a conversation with theneighbor and I'm really excited
(27:37):
about it, like right, like itwas such a like.
He is on my list.
I don't even think he knowshe's on my gratitude list, but I
love watching him live hispassion, live his joy, and it's
by helping.
He is so filled up with likehelping people on their projects
(27:58):
that I'm like I just want tobake him a cake, like I just
want to give back to him.
I can't, like I don't even knowhow to do it yet I need to talk
to his wife or something.
But you know like he's livinghis joy and it's by helping
others and I just wish that, um,in my retirement I was like him
.
(28:18):
Like you know, he's not makingmoney for helping in all of
these different projects, buthe's living his joys, living his
purpose, and I just lovewatching him.
I love seeing his activity inthe community and how much I can
see that it feeds him.
It's not draining him at all.
He's such a joyful, positive,solution-oriented person and
(28:43):
he's ready to help, right, andso just watching him really
lights up my heart.
So it's like, even if that'sall it was, like who in your
world is living their missionand purpose, and can you have
them on your gratitude list tokind of not only just inspire
you but also like watch theirjoy and let it, let it light you
(29:03):
up.
Speaker 3 (29:04):
Yeah, so it's like
letting us thrive through with
somebody else, like he becomesthat person that you're like,
you know, and energeticallyyou're sending him all the right
you know vibes anyway.
But you know, sometimes it isnice to let them know like hey,
you really inspire me, orwhatever it is, because people,
you know, we've become sodistant.
And when you're talking aboutyour daughter, I was like at the
(29:27):
grocery store a couple monthsago with my oldest granddaughter
and she's talking we'reshopping and there's this man
there and she's like hi, andhe's like looks at her like whoa
, this kid is talking to me, youknow.
And she's like my name is Aspenand he's like, oh, hi, my name
is, you know, and I'm sittingthere with her and I thought,
(29:47):
wow, this doesn't happen anymorebecause there's so much fear
around people and kidnapping orwhatever there is.
But I just loved the innocenceof her just wanting to introduce
herself to strangers and justbe so innocent about it and so
fearless about it and I let ithappen, like yes, and we had a
great conversation with this man, and then he goes but like do,
(30:09):
do, do, do, like off in his ownthing, and I was like God, kid
you, she was inspiring to me.
So it was like, ok, well, let'sgo talk to some other people,
let's go say hi, you know.
And that is getting back toagain the core, the primal part
of it.
How can we come back tocommunity without it being weird
that you're saying hi tosomebody that you don't know?
(30:32):
And so that is, for me, also, all solar plexus, right, yeah,
that confidence, thatfearlessness that you know we're
not going to be judged becausewe're saying hi to somebody we
don't know or we're helpingsomebody out, you know, like you
see an older person that'sstruggling to reach something on
the top shelf, go help them.
Don't just watch them struggle, like, go over there and be that
(30:54):
kind person that can say, hey,let me get that for you, do you
need help?
Like you know whatever.
And so, um, yeah, all solarplexus right there, and I just
watched it grow for her and Ijust thought, oh, that was a
beautiful moment.
But for me, solar plexus is, um,trying to think of some of the
things that I like to do.
I love planning trips, okay, sothat for me is like, if I can
(31:19):
be in like the planning and theactivating and the gathering,
and I just love that, whetherit's doing like content for work
or helping others or planningtrips and things, I that I like
to be in that kind of I guesscrown or third eye to like that
fantasy of where are we going togo.
Speaker 2 (31:39):
That really is a
daydreaming Like.
For me that's totally sacralchakra, like I'm like, yeah, I'm
totally getting visions all thetime about where things are
moving forward.
Like here I am yes, I'm thevisionary at Moon Rising
Shamanic Institute for a reasonand purpose, but I totally hear
you Like I can see how it couldbe solar plexus, and for me it's
(32:00):
very sacral because it's stillin that warm, juicy, fuzzy mode,
like there's no, I'm notactually doing any, I can not
bringing it forward.
So it's it's kind of like yourthird it's more probably third
eye.
Yeah, it's more third eye thaneven sacral, because I'm not
(32:20):
actually in the creation of it.
I'm just witnessing the visionand holding space for that Right
.
Like I get those all the time, especially early in the morning
or late at night.
Like right when your body isnaturally in that theta state,
your brain wave is in that thetastate, and to just be like, all
right, I witnessed that.
Now I have this opportunity to,can I bring it down and
(32:43):
communicate about it, can Ibring that vision forward and
share it with the people?
I saw in the vision of how Iwould like to bring this forward
.
And then it's like, okay, Icommunicate it, and then I'm
bringing it down to the heartand I'm listening with my heart
space.
I'm listening with compassion oflike, then I'm bringing it down
to the heart and I'm listeningwith my heart space.
I'm listening with compassionof like is this in resonance
with these other people?
And noticing that?
Right?
I think that's such a good like, a really like.
(33:05):
Remember this part, like youhad the vision you're, you're,
you're communicated about it.
And now we're listening withour heart of like.
Is this resonating with thesepeople?
Cause, if it's a no, it's notthe right person.
Don't push forward.
If their resonance is a no,right, so you're listening,
don't be discouraged If it isfind the next person find the
(33:25):
next person Exactly.
It's like they aren't the rightone just because you had the
vision and you had a feelingthat might be them.
Because it made logical senseWell, guess what that's the mind
trying to fill in the gaps.
Because it made logical senseWell, guess what?
That's the mind trying to fillin the gaps, right?
And so when we can just say, oh, you're not it, like I'm not
(33:46):
going to set this beautifulvision aside, you're just not it
, and I'm going to keepcommunicating with the people in
my world that I feel like maybethey're it, maybe my intuition
is going to bring me the rightperson, and I'm going to trust
that intuition so that when thehit comes, you know, the
goosebumps show up, the hair onthe neck, on the back of your
neck, stands up and you're like,oh okay, intuition says this is
the right person.
Now we're talking from ourheart space and they're
(34:08):
resonating with it.
And then you're like geeking outthe way Chantel and I are right
now, or we're just really inthe conversation and we're
really excited about theconversation, and that's where
it's like yeah, it's feedingyour solar plexus, it's feeding
the.
This is who I am, this is whatI meant to be doing, like, like
that confidence and thatmotivation gets inspired.
You get lit up, there's a fireand then you bring it down to
(34:30):
the sacral where you're like, okay, how are we creating this,
how are we going to plan it out,how are we going to bring this
forward and then birth itforward into the world?
And I just love that juicyprocess.
I do, I just do.
Speaker 3 (34:43):
It really is.
It really is a process of goingfrom the crown to the third eye
to the throat, all of it allthe way through, because it's a
full system and when you gethung up in any one of them it's
really apparent If you're tunedinto your system, your chakras,
your energy and all of that.
So when you're tuned into it,you can tell where you're caught
(35:04):
up and so.
But when you're all like, likeyou're talking about, you're all
into it and you're motivatedand inspired and all the
juiciness is coming, it'sliterally flowing all the way
through you.
And to be able to have that endresult and say I created this
and look at all the people thatwe gathered, that are all a part
of it, and all the hands areincluded, and it's just, it's,
(35:26):
it's peopling, you know, but atthe same time, sometimes we have
to be the one that leads it,that gathers it and gathers the
people around, and so, yeah, really seeing that a lot, I love
it.
Speaker 2 (35:37):
Well, and notice too,
like that flow when you're
doing your work, when you'rewilling to tap into your primal
spaces and tap into your solarplexus and clear out those
limiting beliefs and fears, andwhen we're able to tap into an
open heart space where we'rewelcoming in support, like your
(35:59):
internal flute, of this energymovement.
It's when you work with otherpeople who are doing the same
work to keep the maintenancegoing of their alignment.
All of this process is so mucheasier and so much faster, Right
, Like.
I think that that's alsointeresting too, because you
might be talking with someoneand they are like, yeah, it
sounds like a great idea, butbut it's like, oh no, there's
(36:22):
your solar plexus issues.
I'm moving forward faster thanyou are, because my right, right
, Exactly, it's like no, we'removing forward and just to
recognize that people are ontheir healing journeys and
oftentimes we get into projectsand relationships right, when
we're, we're bringing thisfruition forward, but the
(36:44):
hangups are where the lessonsare Right, and so I find that
fascinating as well of going ohlook, I'm really clear in my
solar plexus and my self-worthand my confidence level, I'm
really motivated and they'regetting hung up'm really
motivated and they're gettinghung up because they think what
if they're too much?
Or what if they're not enoughor what, like they've got their
hookup Right and you're the onewho's like, no, I'm good in that
(37:08):
area and you're moving forwardand you're pulling them along.
And then that, pulling themalong, they have a choice they
can either drag their feet orget the fuck on board.
Right, Like, they come forwardand do the work of going.
Look, we can prove to our solarplexus that we can do it and
create a new story.
What stories are we creating?
(37:29):
You're putting out a story thatsays this is going to be hard
and I'm putting out a story thisis going to be easy, right,
Like that dissonance is anopportunity for, for learning
and the the person who's movingforward and this is an easy flow
.
It might be well, this is whereI need to learn how to have
boundaries.
No, I'm not available to do aproject to this extent If you
(37:53):
can't come fully on board withme.
Like, right, and so you're it.
All the time there'sopportunities to witness our own
, our own healing stories, ourown journeys and go.
Am I available for this or am Inot?
And that right, there is solarplexus and really understanding
what healthy boundaries are andgoing.
(38:13):
I'm available for people whoare ready to set forward with me
.
I am open and available forpeople who are going to motivate
me and encourage me and beright on page with me.
So if that's not this person, that maybe they're not the right
fit for this project.
Right, and to get really realabout it of and giving them,
(38:33):
like giving the other personlike this is, this, is, this, is
this is what's coming up for me, Like all of this is happening
so that we're working on ourcommunication, they're able to
hear and they have anopportunity to heal.
But it's gotta be their choice.
We can't drag people long ifthey're not ready for it.
Speaker 3 (38:50):
No, you can't go
rescue anyone.
You can't drag them, you can'tforce anyone to see what they.
What you can see Right andthat's the thing too is is it's
okay, we can accept everyonewith where they're at, and
there's probably places for themin other areas of your life,
but when you're in solar plexusenergy, it's really difficult to
(39:12):
be motivated and going.
It's like you're on the trainRight, and then you have
somebody like I aren't doingthat.
That doesn't work and so.
But there's other things.
So maybe they need to be morefocused in the details or
whatever it is.
But I just love it when we cansee where we're coming from,
(39:33):
energetically, like that, andthen when you get into your
heart and it's all aboutcompassion and love and
everything we were talking aboutand our throat.
So let's talk about our throat, like what are your favorite?
Like throat activities that youdo and activations.
Speaker 2 (39:47):
You know, I wish I
hummed more because I know it's
a really great activation, butit's not for me.
Like I just it's just notsomething I think about.
But for right now I would saymy number one throat activation
is in the exhale and the sigh ofit.
So taking a night in the breathand sighing out and then also
just vocalizing things, like notholding back, like if I'm
(40:12):
cooking and I'm smelling, I'mlike this is so yummy, like I
want to make vocalizations, Iwant to make noises, I want to
make noises, I want to makesounds, and for me that's like
really throat chakra activationand oftentimes this is also
where you know there's a bit offear of judgment of like, if I'm
over here smelling my pot offood, I'm going it's so yummy,
(40:34):
like I'm just like really in itand I'm making, I'm moaning with
it, like I'm really in thesenses of it, but I'm letting it
activate through my throat.
I feel like that is that can bereally empowering and it can be
really also, um, honoring ofyour, your senses and your test,
(40:54):
telling your senses like, yes, feel it all, feel it throughout
your whole body, and that's okay, right.
So like I love like playing withvocalization.
So like, let's say I'm, I'm, um, doing dance for myself, like
I'm a really love a static dance, I love movement, and what if I
made noise with that?
(41:15):
What noise would it be like?
And so, um, let's say, I'mlistening to something really
primal and I'm I'm growling orI'm huffing or whatever it is.
It's like I feel like that issomething that can be really
activating on your whole bodylevel, that the vibrations that
we make in our throat are fedthroughout our whole cellular
(41:38):
system, right.
And so it's like, why aren't wedoing this?
Like I feel so much better whenI make vocalizations and how
does that?
How does that feel?
So I know that one might feellike a little out there for some
people, but that's why you canstart with humming, right, I
just kind of bypass that one andwent right to like really
(42:02):
feeling into the.
The sacred sounds that came up,come out of my mouth, and
that's the way, like I almostneed to frame it Like these are
sacred sounds.
And if I'm making sacred sounds, what does that mean for me?
What does that mean for my body?
Speaker 3 (42:17):
And then it is
because it's actually
manifesting our own frequencythrough sound.
Right, when you have that soundbarrier that's broken, it's
like, oh my gosh, I am, and I dothis with people all the time.
So at my workplace it's a domeand it echoes and if we have a
(42:38):
really good session or we're inreleasing, I'll walk through
there and I'll I'll holler likeand then you'll hear somebody
else and I love it and it echoes.
But this, like going back to um, the new moon the other night.
We're around the fire and I was, we were doing this activation,
(42:59):
I was drumming and it it waswhat are we releasing?
We're letting the fire come up.
So various solar plexus werewhat is being ready to be
released and when you feel thatemotion, you throw it into fire,
you shout it into the fire.
So at first they're reallyquiet with it.
Oh, fear, shame.
Speaker 1 (43:15):
I'm like, nope, say
it louder, say it louder.
Speaker 3 (43:21):
And then it's like
fear, shame.
And then I started yelling andthen at first they're like but
then they all joined in.
It's like yell, let that comeup.
And so at the end, when all ofit was released, and you know
you're drumming at the beat oflike and all of a sudden it's
like boom, and it all stops andthey're like it's like so
powerful to be able to bring allthat up and they don't even
(43:43):
know they have it in them.
Yes, because it's not normal togo around and screaming or
humming and people really getvery I don't want to say
offended, but they get like oh,why are you agitated?
Or yeah, like you're hummingwith your food, you're like this
is so yummy.
And then people are like, oh, Idon't want to hear that.
I mean, I'm not talking likewhen people are like smacking of
(44:04):
the lips, but you know, whenyou're just enjoying the food,
yeah, yeah, or whateverexperience you're having, we
have to be able to vocalize that, because this part of our
chakra system is so importantFor me.
I think mine has been become.
I'm trying to listen more, andso that is really where, like,
(44:26):
I'm listening to theconversation and I'm engaging in
everything, but I'm reallytrying to be more attentive with
that part of it and letting myears be the vibration of my
throat chakra right now, youknow, and so that one's
interesting.
Instead of always projectingwhat I need to say next, I want
to hear what you have to say.
Speaker 2 (44:48):
Yeah Well, and I, I
love that note too, and it kind
of brings us even into the thirdeye space of can you go to a
spot in nature and just listen, like the other morning I was
doing my normal, like I've gotmy morning music on, I'm kind of
dancing around the kitchengetting my kids ready for bed
(45:08):
and the sun is at the perfectangle that the sunrise comes
from my, my window, above my, mykitchen sink, and so I can
watch the sunrise.
And you know, so I, I grab mysacred tobacco, and so I can
watch the sunrise, and so I grabmy sacred tobacco, I run
outside and I give my offeringto the morning, and the minute I
shut the door, all of thenoises changes.
(45:29):
I can hear the sandhill cranesmoving over, I can hear the
Canada geese, I can hear thecreek that's down a quarter mile
, down the ways, and I can feelthe breeze.
And all of a sudden it was in acompletely different sound
experience, right, and one waslike, yes, it was energizing, it
(45:49):
was my, it's my routine.
And then I go outside and it'slike, oh, and here's the calm,
here's this moment of gratitudefor the new day, and listen to
what nature has to offer.
And even though it was probablyonly five minutes, I stood
there and watched the sunriseand it created such a contrast
(46:12):
from one beautiful noise toanother beautiful noise, one
that's manmade and one that'snature made.
Yeah, and so the offering sheshows up.
(46:36):
Yeah, and so the offering sheshows up, yes, right, and it's
like I still would love to like, encourage and do this for
myself of like what'm.
It's a different form ofmeditation, because it's not
like you're noticing thethoughts and letting them go.
No, you can let your thoughtsgo, but you're, I'm nature, I am
nature, I am one with nature, because then, when the plants
and the animals don't see you asa threat, your energy isn't
(46:58):
threatening, like you're justgoing to show up every day in
the same spot.
Nature will show up for youbecause you're no longer a
threat, right, and so you'relistening with your whole body,
you're one with your whole body, and so this is a really great
third eye crown chakra exerciseis like I am one with everything
, and once nature sees you asthat, then it's like where I
(47:21):
live, the deer will show up, thequail will show up, the you
know, the muskrat will show uplike whatever is around isn't
intimidated by your presence, and they'll show up and say,
yeah, you're one of us, as I'mnature, we're not separate.
Speaker 3 (47:38):
Yeah, you definitely
have a beautiful view over there
and with the deer andeverything in that big picture
window.
Speaker 1 (47:43):
It's like.
Speaker 3 (47:44):
So it's just
literally like you're just
watching nature happen rightoutside all the time.
Speaker 2 (47:49):
So it's crazy, it is,
it is.
I'm really fortunate and toalso know that I want.
I am living in town and I'mliving in a community of 42
households.
It's not like I'm um, I'm not,I'm not in a rural area at by
any means, and yet nature is atmy door.
It's really beautiful, yeah.
Speaker 3 (48:12):
Wonderful.
So lately I've been doing ajuicing, so I'm doing green
juices every day and that hasbeen very much lifting me up and
I know it's like on a cellularlevel and energetically.
So I'm like being it's I don'tknow if it's the frequency of
what's in the juice, but beingall up in the third eye and
(48:33):
crown there's like I like theother night or the other day I
was just like woo and I had togo and eat like really grounding
food because I was lifted somuch.
And I'm like in my second weekI think of every day drinking it
and you just feel it flowingthrough Right.
So I've been feeling very likeup in my higher chakras and then
(48:58):
having to bring in my balanceand making sure that I'm still
here and present.
But even my husband was likeare you okay?
Speaker 1 (49:05):
I'm like, yeah, I'm
good.
Speaker 3 (49:07):
I'm like like an hour
later, I'm like I think I need
a steak, can you barbecue?
It was like one o'clock, twoo'clock, and he was like for
dinner and I'm like no, now, Ithink I need it now.
And he was like for dinner andI'm like no, now.
Speaker 2 (49:21):
I think I need it now
.
I love that that made my heartso happy for you To just one.
That you recognized what wasenergetically going on.
Two, that you were able to askfor it Right Like no, I need it
now.
I need my steak right now.
And that you had a partnerthat's responsive.
Speaker 3 (49:38):
Yeah, yeah.
So he did, he went and hebarbecued and and you know, and
I ate I was the only one eating, but it was okay and I loved it
and I was like, wow, this feelsreally good.
And so the thing is is thatthat juice has now activated a
few people around me and so nowhe's fully on board with it and
he's just like wow.
And he re he's a researcher.
So once you, you expose him tosomething, he goes in and
(50:01):
researches it.
What are the benefits of it?
And then he's like, yep, weneed this, we need that, we need
to eliminate that for his owndigestive.
Like for him he was saying aswe have spinach in it, um,
ginger, and there's one otherthing that the fiber, the
cucumber, cilantro, I think itis.
So if you have too much fiberfor his system, that's too much.
It doesn't affect mine, but forhim.
(50:23):
So he's like eliminate this, add that.
And I'm like wow.
And then you see, you startfeeling into all.
He's empowering himself, he'sin the creativity of it, he's
still grounding, he's doing allthese things.
I'm like it's just sointeresting to when you live
life through the lens and thescope of your energy, right,
right, and we label them, butit's like, really, it's you just
(50:47):
being the energy by being thatyou are and just trusting that
what's coming forward is becausewe are multi-dimensional beings
and so it's like we're doingthis through all spaces and
dimensions and and our layersand up and down, and so it's so
fluid, but we think of itsometimes as it just being so
systematic and it's like it'snot be in flow with your own
(51:09):
energy so that everything cancome forward for you and you
release what's not there orwhat's not serving you.
You gravitate to what is andyou're good.
You're good to go.
Speaker 2 (51:21):
You gravitate to what
is and you're good, you're good
to go.
Yeah, Well, I, I love that Like.
Part of what you just mentionedis that the chakras are not
standalone systems.
No Right, and I think that thisis where I I mean, it's
definitely one of my little petpeeves in the spiritual
community is that we've got like, if, like I remember always
(51:42):
seeing this like does your sleeppatterns is that like?
Is the pineal gland, third eyeor crown?
I'm like, why can't it be bothLike?
They're affecting both.
Your sleep cycles are affectingboth Like and, as, as you can
notice from this discussion, like one is going to flow into
another.
(52:02):
Our energy is going to flowinto another.
Right, if they're open andreceptive, this can be a spark
of inspiration for them to alsolike, resonate at our frequency
and I love that.
I love this real witnessing oflike.
I'm doing this for me and I'mfeeling this way and it's really
(52:23):
lighting me up for my chakrasand for my health and healing,
and then the people in my lifeare noticing that.
They're resonating with that.
They want to get on board too,and I think right, and I think
like if we were just initiatingour joy, what permission are we
giving to other people toinitiate their joy Period.
If that was the world, if wewere all going, committed to
(52:47):
doing one joyful act a day, theworld would be a better place it
would be.
And so this is like for me.
This is where joy, whereradical self-love, where doing
our self work is a form ofrevolution.
It's a form of radically sayingI'm worthy of this and
therefore I'm giving permissionto others to do it too.
Speaker 3 (53:09):
Just love it and just
and being the, it could be the
catalyst of it.
You know like it, but it's whatpeople, once they witness each
other, we witness each other.
It is a sacred witnessing rightand so when we are that sacred
witness, we can see whereeverybody is at and either you
pick up what they got going onor they're picking up what you
(53:30):
got going on, because there'sthat frequency alignment and I'm
really fortunate right now andloving it by who I'm surrounded
with right now, because they'repicking up what I got going on,
I'm picking up what they gotgoing on and we come into
community, whether it's here,whether it's here at home, it's
at work, you know it's, it's,there's just such a wonderful
(53:53):
vibe that's happening right now.
And if you're not tapped intothat vibe, ask yourself why?
Right, because there is thisfrequency that's happening,
where people are starting totune into it, and I think for
our listeners is just getyourself to that place, whether
you consciously do it or youhave to do the work to get there
.
That's fine too.
Right, because sometimes wejust have to do some clearing
(54:13):
out and then suddenly you'rethere and you're tapped into it.
But really pick up all thepositive things that people
around you are doing, becausethat's how you can start to
shift your own mindset, your ownenergy, your own activations.
Everything is because you'reseeing what others are doing and
you're like yeah, I want to dothat too.
I want to do that too.
And you go and you pick it upand you're like I'm going to
(54:35):
take this and you're inresidence with that energy.
Speaker 2 (54:47):
Well and noticing if
all you can see around you are
people doing the things that aremaking them heavy and they're
complaining and like, blah, blah, blah, like if that's their
energy, if that's theirfrequency and you're right there
with it.
This is an opportunity towitness that and say I need to
make a new choice.
I need to make a new choicewith the people I'm around.
I need to make a new choice inmy behaviors, like I think that
one of the most radicaldecisions that we can make for
ourselves is to witness where weare responsible for our energy
(55:08):
and how we are engaging withourselves in the world and
really going.
I am worthy to have a moment ofjoy.
So if the people around me areknocking that down, that's on
them.
I can go live my life the way Iwant to live it and I'm going
to do it anyway.
And I'm going to find otherpeople who are in spontaneously
(55:29):
joyful moments.
This is why I love going tostatic dance.
This is why I love going tosound.
Baths is the like like, onceyou're engaged with the
community that are also tuningin and tapping into finding
joyful moments, you will findthem in joyful places, right,
and so go seek that out.
Like I'm.
(55:50):
I'm amazed at um.
There are opportunities almosteverywhere to to tune into this.
Like I'm still amazed.
Like I just started teachingmore in person classes in
Bozeman, and five, 10 years agoI was the only person doing it
Right, and now it's like themarket is flooded.
(56:13):
There is opportunities everysingle night to do something
spiritual, and so it's like allright, no more excuses, people
no more excuses at all like gofind it.
If it's not in person, lookonline, you know.
Like, and I think this is why wereally love, love, love.
Doing our soul rising program isbecause not only are you
(56:37):
stepping into the frequency ofour group, of everyone who is
actively working on theirhealing process and activating
their joy and activating theirchakras like you're in that
container and where you're goingto get that accountability and
support, but you're also gettingall of these activating actions
all of the time.
We have like over 30 differentactivation, activating actions
(56:59):
for the chakras and I justabsolutely, I absolutely love it
, like I this is why I do what Ido and like witnessing our
students progress and really getinto those murky, shadowy
places and places and findingthat, that space of
alchemization and loving thoseareas of their cells instead of
(57:23):
rejecting them Like it is.
So it's, it's, it's beyondwords.
Like I'm so honored to do thework that I do and in the way
that I do it and really lovethat I have Chantel and Isabel
uh, you know, really are spaceholders and um teachers, mentors
, and I get to witness them andit's just such a beautiful
(57:48):
vision that I had that came intofull fruition and I, I'm in
such awe of ourselves and theway our students resonate with
it, so I love it.
I just love it resonate with it.
Speaker 3 (58:04):
So I love it, I just
love it.
Yeah, it's a great space.
It really is highly just all ofit.
I feel that that experiencewith you, that energy with you,
of what we offer and what showsup and witnessing our students.
And when you're talking aboutthe shadow part, I do want to
say, for those who are listening, there are moments when we are
going to be in our shadowthoughts.
You know, and I recently justhad a night of not a whole night
, but you know, I had a fewhours of where I'm like in my
(58:27):
shadow timelines, my my ideasand thoughts, and I thought give
yourself this time because it'scoming up for a reason and let
it go.
So don't get trapped there.
That's the whole key is, aswe're talking about our chakras
and how we can be in thispositive mindset and joy and all
this stuff.
When the other side comesthrough, process it and release
(58:47):
it.
Don't get stuck there and thinkthat's your new frequency,
that's your new residence, causeit's not.
It's just letting you know I'mhere and I'm ready to go, I'm
ready to be released and you dothat work and let it go.
Speaker 2 (58:58):
Yeah, I had a moment
this last week where I was so
tired and my body was not happyand I needed to lie on the couch
all day and I felt sorry formyself and I knew that, like,
I'm just gonna be in this momentof I'm resting, I'm not,
there's no activity requiredother than being a vegetable on
the couch, and this, too, shallpass, right, like this isn't who
(59:22):
I am, I, but I'm giving myselfthe moment to be in it, knowing
that this is a pause.
Maybe I don't understand why thepause is here and I'm trusting
the process, right.
And then the next day, I waslike all right, here we go,
we're going to clean the houseand we're going to do our yoga
and we're going to do like, I'mgoing to do my things.
(59:42):
And I was motivated again.
Right, like.
But had I just pushed through, had I not given myself the
moment to like, let my body rest?
Like my body didn't feel good?
Had I just pushed through, itwould have been 10 times worse,
right.
And then maybe the sicknesswould have lasted 10 days
instead of one day, right.
Speaker 3 (01:00:01):
And look at how many
energy centers you tapped into
just by doing that.
Right, you went from it'ssacral and it's time to rest and
take care of myself.
You had the awareness of crownand third eye to say I need to
do this for myself.
You were compassionate withyour own health and well-being.
Then you stood into your solarplexus of like like okay, I'm
ready to like, empower myselfand go step into that the next
(01:00:24):
day.
Like this isn't.
And so look at that, as we'retalking about these chakra
systems, it's not a linear upand down.
It literally is a flow.
It's a spiral effect of energy, and so, whatever one you're in,
know that you're connecting toall the others as well.
Yeah, absolutely.
Speaker 2 (01:00:43):
Beautiful.
I love this conversation.
Thank you so much, Chantel, forhaving it with me today.
Speaker 3 (01:00:49):
I know it was really
fun.
I'm like, yes, yeah, it's great.
I thank you, I'm glad I'm here.
Yeah, I'm too.
Speaker 2 (01:00:56):
