Send Us a Message!

Dive into the profound world of Reiki Fusion with Christine and Shantel as they explore the balance between Masculine and Feminine energies in our Reiki practice. The conversation illuminates how Reiki itself embodies both energies—its essence is inherently feminine, flowing like water, while its teaching structure provides the masculine container that allows it to be shared and practiced systematically.

Yet many practitioners struggle with finding balance, either clinging to rigid protocols or abandoning structure entirely for intuitive flow. Christine invites us to consider: What if the hand positions and symbols we've been taught are simply "training wheels" until we learn to dance with the energy authentically?

This exploration extends beyond Reiki technique into how we live our daily lives. Along the way, we cover:

  • The inspiring story behind the term Reiki fusion
  • Why balancing feminine flow and masculine structure can deepen your energy work
  • A powerful insight Christine received on Mount Kurama—where Reiki began
  • How Reiki naturally blends intuition and structure (and why that matters)
  • Common struggles practitioners face in their practice
  • Reframing hand positions and symbols as "training wheels"
  • How this energy balance plays out in everyday life—especially for women
  • Simple ways to return to center when you're feeling out of sync
  • A look into Christine’s upcoming Reiki Master Teacher Training (East meets West)
  • How to find your unique, authentic Reiki path
  • And more!

There's no single "correct" way to practice Reiki—what matters is finding your authentic balance between structure and flow, tradition and intuition, boundaries and receptivity. Ready to dive in? Listen now!

For years, christine hasblended Eastern and Western
teachings in her Reiki master'straining, but that's not all
that the term Reiki fusionrepresents for us here at Moon
Rising.
In this conversation, chanteland Christine will share
profound insights into masculineand feminine energy patterns,
calling on the wisdom andinformation that Christine

(01:33):
received during her time onMount Kurama this May.
They'll also explore how Reikifusion guides us on the path to
balancing these energies whiledeepening our Reiki practice.
This conversation goes beyondthe typical idea of masculine
and feminine energy and reallydives into the energetic
archetypes of these two, understanding that, while the

(01:54):
highest ideal from our crownchakra is non-duality, while we
are embodied in this physicalplane, we are in a world of
duality, and understanding howto navigate that in a balanced
and harmonious way is reallywhat allows our Reiki energy to
awaken and flow.

Speaker 2 (04:04):
Welcome, welcome everyone to our Whispers of
Wisdom.
I'm your host, christine Rene, and I'm joining with Chantel
Ochoa for this conversation onReiki Fusion, balancing the
masculine and feminine energies, and I have to say that I got on
the call this morning withChantel.
We both recognize that we'reboth wearing red, we both have

(04:26):
our hair braided.
We're feeling freaking cute.

Speaker 3 (04:28):
Unplanned, totally unplanned.
That was awesome, though.

Speaker 2 (04:33):
I love it and I literally like I saw this dress
and I was like that is what I'mwearing today, like I have to go
on live in this dress.
So here I am drinking my we'reboth drinking coffees and you
know, I feel like there's somuch to be had in this
conversation and when I was onJapan, on Mount Kurama in Japan,

(05:00):
where you know, here's the siteof where Asui quote unquote
received his enlightenment, theAsui Gongen is this Kami giant
cedar tree that fell and it wassupposed to be the divine
representation of the divinemasculine on the mountain and
that is supposedly where Asuiwas.
Well, literally 10 feet fromthe tree is the divine feminine

(05:22):
representation being thisfountain.
There was this fountain andit's at the top of the mountain.
So it shouldn't be.
It's not a spring that shouldbe sprung, being on the top of a
mountain, and yet it's likethat's one of the reasons why
it's so miraculous.
Here's this flow of water atthe top of a mountain and it's
the divine feminine.
So, and we always hear he wasin front of this tree and it's
like he was next to the fountain.

(05:44):
He was in front of this treeand it's like he was next to the
fountain.
You know, there's a part of itthat I feel like we only got
half the story, and it was thistrip that really made it click
going.
No, he was sitting between thetree and the fountain, he was
sitting with them, both thedivine masculine and the divine
feminine.
And what does that mean?

(06:05):
Here we have the divinefeminine in constant flow, and
constant like giving is she'sjust offering so much of her
constant flow of waters.
And when we peel the layers backto what does Reiki mean?

(06:25):
When you actually go to thekanji, it's something to the
effect of the female shaman thatflows water through her mouth
to the earth, which grows thegrains of rice, that produces
steam and feeds the mind, bodyand spirit.
Okay, right, feeds the mind, body and spirit?

(06:46):
Okay, right.
And so you have this innatefeminine energy that, through
the lens of Reiki in the 1920s,1930s, has a very masculine
overtone to it, because it is soinnately feminine that the
masculine had to bring in thestructure.
That's what it feels like themasculine had to bring in the
structure to say here are thehand positions, here's the rules

(07:09):
, here's what we're going to do,here's the chance, here's the
trainings, here's A, b and C andX, y and Z, and the energy
herself feels feminine, and sothis is kind of what I want to
talk about today.
Is that it's both, and whatdoes that mean for our practices

(07:30):
?
What does it mean for us aspractitioners and how does it
feel in our bodies to experiencethat dichotomy?

Speaker 3 (07:41):
Yes, yeah, I think that it's so powerful because we
do need to fill into thedichotomy of both sides, right.
And I find it interestingbecause when I do Reiki, when
I'm in a session, I always start.
Well, I don't always start, butI will wrap around one side in
the masculine energy and comearound to the feminine energy,

(08:04):
because when you're actually youwork on both sides.
You feel the difference in theperson and their energetic field
.
You can't ignore one withoutthe other, right?
It's like you can't massage onehalf of your body and ignore
the other half.
We have to bring in thatbalance.
So I love that you're bringingthis up, because I think it can
become very masculine when we'rejust following the system

(08:24):
itself, our intuition and beingin flow with how Reiki is
showing up for us in oursessions, with ourself and with
others, and we can really be inthe structure of what we need to
do and, at the same time, inthe flow with the feminine
energy to help us just really bein that beautiful experience of
it.

Speaker 2 (08:44):
Yeah Well, and I want , I want to.
I want to ask you a question.
I want to go back the way youdo sessions.
Does that mean that you starton the left side of the body or
do you start on the right sideand you start on the right for
the math?

Speaker 3 (08:55):
I actually listened to my intuition.
So if I'm guided to the, to theleft, I do.
If I'm guided to the right, buta lot of times I do find it is
more the right side.
It's going to be more of themasculine, but I do make sure
both sides are done.

Speaker 2 (09:10):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, cause I mean I think that
even that in and of itself isgoing like yeah, we have a rule
book that says that we'resupposed to quote unquote from a
traditional perspective, startat the head and certain hand
positions and move down the body, and I've always, for as long
as I can remember, go say kindof like fuck that, like I'm not

(09:30):
doing it that way.
Yeah yeah, like it didn't feelright to me.
It never has.
Starting at my head has alwaysmade me feel really out of body
and ungrounded and um, just notnot fully present and and so

(09:52):
I've always started at the Hara, your belly button area, and
then moved down to root chakraand work my way up, like I've
always done that way.
I've I've trained my studentsto do it that way and with the
caveat of, if that doesn't feelright for you, here are the
traditional feel into both.
Do what feels right to you, right.

(10:12):
And I think that for me is thebalance of the masculine and the
feminine, of saying look, here's what the intention behind
all of this was and trust yourown intuition, aka your feminine
flow of what feels right to youin this moment with this client

(10:32):
, with your body, whatever whoyou're working on, and trust
that process, because the energyitself is in balance.
The energy itself is very it'sflow, it's, it's wants to show
up, and so if we dropped therule book of how it's supposed

(10:52):
to be and trust it's leading meto exactly where I need to be,
maybe the hand positions arereally just freaking training
wheels, maybe that the symbolsare training wheels.
Maybe maybe there's all of thestructure that's been put in
place to to kind of make itfoolproof, to make it easy.

(11:13):
But when do we let the trainingwheels off and just dance with
Reiki?

Speaker 3 (11:20):
Yeah, and I agree with that.
It actually in my um, myworkbook, it does when I'm doing
level one, cause actually I hadlevel one on Saturday, so you
are reminding me of, you know, asection in there where it says
just that that we are Reiki andto just be Reiki, and so these

(11:40):
symbols are kind of liketraining wheels, so to speak.
You use them until you are soconfident that you are just
Reiki.
You walk in, you're in thebubble of Reiki, you exude Reiki
, you just are the expansiveenergy of it.
Always.
So for me, I'm just at a placeof my intention is, wherever I

(12:00):
go, it's with me, I just amright.
And so, instead of feeling likeI got to turn it on or feeling
like I got to line up, I got tocall in, I just always feel like
I'm in this protective energyand there are things that I do
to make sure I am protected on aregular basis, but I'm not
always in that consciousawareness Like I am protected.
I just know that I am.

(12:20):
And when people feel thingsaround me, I'm like, yeah,
that's, it's Reiki, it's justReiki, right, instead of feeling
like we have to be sostructured.

Speaker 2 (12:37):
Yeah, yes, exactly Like I feel like when you start
to live a Reiki lifestyle, youfeel that more and more, that
it's just showing up.
For me it doesn't.
It's not something that has tobe done in this really tight
container of a session.
I mean it absolutely can, andthat's beautiful in and of
itself.
I love Reiki sessions and I feellike when the original Reiki

(13:01):
development this was about thepersonal practice of coming into
flow with your Kokoro and Ilove that word because it's kind
of it has that in thetranslation of balancing the
heart, mind and in a way thatfeels like balancing the

(13:21):
feminine, masculine right.
And so if we are coming intobalance, these and I think this
is where I get frustrated, and Ithink a lot of people get
frustrated is that we have a lotof conversations these days on
the divine feminine and thesacred masculine and in that
conversation we forget that weeach, as individuals, contain

(13:45):
and hold both, that one isn'tbetter than the other, that
they're about this fusion, it'sabout this continuation of
coming together.
And so how does it feel torecognize within myself this is
my masculine energy and this ismy feminine energy, and are they

(14:08):
matured Meaning?
Does your feminine feel safe tofully express and to flow and
to have that wildness about her.
And does your internalmasculine feel like it's there
to have the logical, have thestructure, have the boundaries

(14:29):
put in place and is it developedwithin you?
Right, because the developmentwithin you then provides a
mature being ready to live lifeto its fullness, right, and to
have relationship with others, knowing that we're balanced
within, right, yeah.

Speaker 3 (14:50):
That's coming to center point right, when we are
in balance of both sides, and weknow when we're balanced on
both sides and when we're out ofbalance.
And when we are and I thinkthis is kind of what we're
talking about prior to gettingon is when we aren't in balance,
one side or the other is goingto dominate our decision making,
our life, our reactions, ourresponses.

(15:12):
So it's knowing when we're inbalance we can be the one that
needs the structure when we needit, but we can be in flow and
receive.
And I think with like being inflow with the feminine is it is
so hard for people to receive, you know, especially now we are
go, go, go all the time.
We're running very masculine.

(15:33):
Families are disrupted withdivorce and separation and all
these different things.
So the mothers typically takeon both roles, you know, and all
of that.
So women in general arebecoming very masculine in their
energy because they're havingto work and work the home and do
the children and all the things, and so, as women, it's really
difficult to sit back and toreceive until you get to say you

(15:56):
know what.
I need to be in balance withmyself.
What does this look like?
And it's going to look likedifferent for each one of us,
but really it's being in balance.
I need to go out and earn anddo what I need to do, but when
I'm home I get to receive.
I get to be the one that cancome home and be in my soft
place.
My home gets to be my sanctuaryand I feel like when we can

(16:16):
create that sacred space withinour home, both the masculine and
the feminine can show up.

Speaker 2 (16:31):
Yeah, and I feel like it's so individualistic too
right, like we need to have somespace to develop self-awareness
practices.
Yes, right, because I feel likewhen I went to Japan the first
time, holy crap, I was living95% of my masculine.
I didn't even know what thefeminine was Like.
I knew she was out there inthere somewhere, but like she
was not present at all becausemy life didn't allow her to feel

(16:51):
safe enough to have the timeand appreciation to be expressed
.
Right?
And and then this time it was acompletely different energy.
I, I think I live predominantlyfrom a very feminine place of
flow and going.
Hmm, what do I feel good aboutdoing today?
How do I want to show up in myfullness today and express

(17:14):
myself?
And do I need some structure?
Like I literally came home andit was so funny, because it's
like I'm, I feel so in flow thatI started doing my time tracker
again, and a time tracker issomething that I usually give
our beginner students in soulrising to kind of identify where
they are spending time and inwhich category of life, whether

(17:36):
that is, that's in yourspirituality or sexuality, your
home environment, yourpartnership, like whatever it
may be like there in yourspirituality or sexuality, your
home environment, yourpartnership, like whatever it
may be like there's like 10different categories.
But it's because I'm so likeright now I feel so in flow.
I needed a masculine element tocome in, to show me the
structure, to have this logicalaspect in what I was doing,

(17:57):
because it felt supportive, togive me a container, right Of my
time, right To just and to havethat level of self-awareness of
where I was spending my time soI wouldn't spiral off too much
in one direction and really kindof help me hold the idea of
balance right.
And so I feel like there arethere is this recognition, I

(18:24):
think right now in our in ourculture, there's this
recognition that women are kindof fed up of being in that
masculine role, like we don'twant to hold it all we and.
And so there's a ginormousswing into one direction of like
doing the divine feminine work, which is amazing and part of it

(18:47):
should be like I I hateshitting on people Like I take
that back.
I feel like the most beautifulway to help hone in on your
divine feminine is theappreciation of both within.
And if we don't have aninternal masculine energy within
ourselves that say I'm notavailable for this.

(19:09):
I am available for that.
That's really setting up thatlinear structure and boundaries.
If we can't express what ourboundaries are, that's when
things get.
That can be taken advantage ofor that can be where things go.

(19:31):
Afoul is that in that divinefeminine space of like, I'm in
my full divine feminine energyand that's all there is for me
full divine feminine energy, andthat's all there is for me.
There's also, I'm fullyreceiving.
I'm receiving everything thateveryone could possibly send to
me, without any boundaries, without any restriction, and we

(19:59):
become this full receptive beingwhich is then out of balance.
And so I think that's wherethere's a huge amount of caution
of like.
Going fully in your femininecan feel amazing and wild and
free.
And yet what about our ownboundaries that we need to
create within ourself of going?
I'm not available for thispractice.
This makes me feeluncomfortable.

(20:20):
Therefore, I'm going to use myvoice, my inner masculine voice,
my solar plexus power, to sayI'm not available for this.
This is not who I am, this isnot who I want to be.
And from that point of like, going from a very masculine
energy within myself swingingover into the feminine and

(20:44):
working my way into this balancehas been a lesson in and onto
itself.
And where's the Reiki threadwithin it?
All right, like I feel likewhen I can go into the structure
of a session here's a session Ican go into the structure of a

(21:04):
session.
Here's a session, there's adoor, there's a place, there's a
table, there's music right.
That actual environmentprovides a sanctuary, a space
that can hold it.
So there's the masculine rightand go ahead.

Speaker 3 (21:19):
When you said, like the container that brought in
such a great visual of themasculine is the container,
that's the structure, as you'resaying the room, the building,
the place, the energy is thefeminine, that's the flow that
was within the container and sothat brings in such a great
balance, because you can be allflowy and feminine within it.

(21:41):
But those boundaries, thosethat container is going to give
you the structure that you needso you can bring in both the
masculine and the feminine, because if we are too much in
our feminine then it's verydifficult to achieve a lot.
Right, because you need thestructure of the masculine to
set the goals, to be structured,to be focused on all the

(22:02):
details.
That's not feminine energy.
The feminine energy is toreceive and to create and to let
it be right.
We're manifesting, we put itout in the universe and we sit
and let it come to us and flow.
It's the structure that thenlets us go out and do all of the
work for it.
So when we find that balance, like even for me, I always

(22:23):
visualize and I like tell mystudents and clients like it's
like the pendulum swinging right, where are you within your two
energies?
Are you way over here swingingon your masculine?
Are you way over here swingingin your feminine?
When it comes to that centerpoint and it drops in, that's
when you know you are fullybalanced.
But you can visually see whereyou are.

(22:43):
Even if you need to use anactual pendulum to do that
energy, you can see where yourenergy is holding up at and then
you can do the work.
Okay, I need to tune into heror I need to tune into him, you
know the sides of ourself andbut that visual was really
powerful right there, because Iwas like, yes, that's exactly
what it is.
We need the structures, but wealso need to be in our feminine

(23:06):
and I know, like with with you,sui Reiki, the lineage is what?
One hundred and three years now, but really Reiki has been here
since the beginning of time,Like it is literally the life
force, energy of all things onour planet, all living things.
So this is one structure ofReiki and one teaching, one

(23:27):
lineage, but it is all things.
We are Reiki, we are, you know, divine energy, we are source
energy and that's what it allcomes from Nature, animism, all
of it.
It's all connected.
We're all connected toeverything.
It's a universal law of onethat has this Reiki energy

(23:48):
flowing through us.
We're just learning through thestructure of Usui Reiki.

Speaker 2 (23:54):
Yes, yeah, exactly Exactly.
Like I love it.
We can end the conversationhere, right, like I think
there's that's so important toreflect on, like we have, I feel
.

Speaker 3 (24:10):
Yeah, let me just ask you this real fast so with the,
the fountain, with the waterand the tree, do they honor the
water at all, or is that just?
It's just there?

Speaker 2 (24:20):
You know it's hard to say, because I feel like a lot
of it's like, oh, it's justthere.
You know it's hard to say, because I feel like a lot of
it's like, oh, it's just there.
Like I think I missed, I missedit, I missed the point of it
all.
The first Japan trip, like Ididn't get it, like it didn't
make any sense, like it was likehere's this tree, it fell down,
it's super important, the Reikiworld.
I'm like I don't, I don't, Idon't understand.
Like nothing, none of it landedand um, and on this trip I was

(24:43):
like oh, wait, wait, wait, hold, hold, hold up, let me, let me
make sure I got this.
This tree is supposed to bedivine, masculine, and it fell
over and it took out a templeand literally, trees in the
fountain, 10 feet away arecompletely undisturbed.
Literally, trees in thefountain 10 feet away are

(25:04):
completely undisturbed.

Speaker 3 (25:07):
And this is this should feel really significant
Right, the symbolism of itshould be filled very
significant and and here's this, here's this fountain, and you
know there's fountains all overthe mountain.

Speaker 2 (25:18):
There's a water aspect everywhere, like I think
that's part of every singlesacred space has water, and
there's a ritual of washing, like taking the scoop and
washing your hands.
I think it's left, right, left, and then you sip and you drink
some of the water.
And so these stations offountains are all over the

(25:43):
mountain, especially at thesetemples, and a lot of the
temples are for masculine energy.
So let's take Mao Zen, who hisenergy is like a force,
literally a force, likeeverything, is these beautiful
trees, and here's this templeand behind it are these massive

(26:06):
boulders and the.
The folklore, or the myth storyof Mao Zedong is that he came
in to earth on like thisasteroid that like, blew up the
earth and this is the point ofcreation, is like his, his
earthiness, and so you have allthese ginormous boulders

(26:26):
everywhere behind the temple, and Mao Zen is, is the, this
deity of groundedness, he's thedeity of the earth, and at his
temple there's a fountain, andthe fountain is the most
fountainous of fountains,meaning it's perfect.

(26:47):
The stream of water, when thereis no wind, comes perfect
connection with the pool, without any ripples.
It looks like it's one constantflow, like a pitcher, like
there's.
You can't tell if it's flowingor not.
It looks.
It looks like it's one constantflow, like a pitcher, like
there's an.
You can't tell that if it'sflowing or not, it looks.
It looks like it's standstilland it's like the how masculine

(27:09):
this, this, this, uh, thistemple is, is balanced by the
perfection of this perfectflowing water, and you can't get
, you can't perfect it anymore.
I have like no idea how.
Like there's no engineering, like that's just the way it is
Right, and so there's a lot ofspaces where the feminine is

(27:34):
respected, but it's in this flowof water, and so it's.
It's interesting, as you have atemple for mouse, and then you
up the up the mountain a littlebit and you have a temple for
Mao Zen, and then you up the upthe mountain a little bit and
you have a temple for Fudo Mio,which is like this really scary
deity, like he's ready to likechop things up and burn things
away and like make you see yourshit and all the things I love.
Fudo, like he's great to helpyou get into the light, and so

(27:55):
he's got a space, and then yougo up further to the mountain,
you have that space where yousee all the roots and that's
where these trees and thefountain are, and it feels more
feminine up there, like in thisin-between space.
And then you get to the verytop of the mountain and this is
kind of where the deity ofBishmantan is.
Bishmantan is the deity who islike more of a cosmic being and,

(28:20):
and so it's like you travel upand you have this masculine and
then like somewhat feminineenergy in the middle, where the
tree and the fountain are, andthen at the top you have more of
this masculine energy and it'scosmic Right and there's the
container for the feminine Right.

(28:40):
So here's the thing.
It it's like you have masculineenergy, uh, which is mao sen,
then the middle, which goshfreaking, put a kanan statue
there.
Like I'm like, come on, where'sher temple?
Like we have temples for theseother dudes, and I'm like and I
want one for her.
And then, and then at the maintemple complex you have it's the

(29:06):
top, it's like Bishamontan isis definitely represented there,
but then you have three deitiesand it's like the Trinity, and
the Trinity of the energy itselfis Santen, which is like really
the best way to describe it islike Holy Spirit, right, it's
the all that is.
It has no image, right.

(29:27):
And so you have all of ithappening on Mount Karama, which
is really what I'm going to bekind of getting more into in the
Reiki fusion class.
Like I believe in balance, Ibelieve in honoring our history
and understanding the culture inwhich Reiki was born.
And I will be the first one tosay that, after this trip in

(29:51):
particular, I'm not a Buddhist.
And even though that Reiki hasa Buddhist foundation, it is not
.
It is not Buddhism Buddhistfoundation.
It is not, it is not Buddhism.
And whether or not you careabout these deities, it doesn't

(30:11):
matter for your practice, itmatters that you understand the
reason why.
So we went up to Mount Karama, which I'll be doing a webinar on
, and understand what was hismotivation and to understand the
cultural context and to know welive in a different cultural

(30:31):
context.
The Reiki has developed andevolved over the last hundred
plus years to really bring inmore balance than the original
could offer.
And you know it gave me a muchmore gratitude Like the more I
sit with it, I'm like I'm in amuch more gratitude space for
Takata, because she, she did,she did strip away a lot of the

(30:54):
masculine practices that hadbeen founded in Buddhism and her
voice was known Like she wasn'teven supposed to be freaking,
taught Like they were.
Like you're too American, you'retoo American for for Reiki.
And she was denied.
And she got a doctor to writeher a letter of recommendation
that she should be trained andit's like a was a personal favor

(31:19):
between this doctor to keeppositive, healthy relations
between him and this clinic, this Reiki clinic.
Right, like I'll you need totake this person on or I might
not send more patients to you.
Like it's kind of like theundertone, right, and so um, the
at in the beginning it was likethey tolerated her.

(31:41):
They didn't want her.
They tolerated her because shewas so American and outspoken
and would ask questions, andthat's not okay for women to do
in Japan.

Speaker 3 (31:51):
You don't, you don't speak up.
Even back then in America, still, women weren't voicing a
lot.
So for her to come forward thatway, to like that was her
intermission, is like no, thisneeds to come over, this needs
to travel over into America.
We need to teach this and I dofor myself have, I believe, all

(32:12):
healing methods and mythology, all of it, all of it.
It is for the people, all thepeople.
Right, I know that you get thechakras here.
You get, you know, all thesedifferent healing modalities,
but really it's just us allfiguring out the human body and
our energetic body and insteadof dividing everything, we need

(32:32):
to bring it all together andthat's why there are so many
layers with Reiki.
Now it's like you can have theshamanism, you can have the
chakra system, you can bring inthe meridians, you can bring in
the energy, like all of it is soencompassing because we're just
trying to figure out this humanvessel and it's showing up in
different cultures and the morethat we communicate and teach

(32:55):
and learn, the more we get tounderstand our body and how to
work with it, how to heal it,how not to have mental
breakdowns, how not to haveemotional breakdowns, how not to
have emotional breakdowns, hownot to let our body become
diseased, right and release pasttraumas.
And this all happens because weare working with each one and
it's like finite teachings, andit's like this ability to say I

(33:18):
see this and I see this and Ican pull it all together in one
method, in one healing session.
And so for me, it's like yes,all the teachers that are out
there that are have brought itforward.
We're just an evolution.
We're taking it and we'reevolving as we're meant to right
now, and we are standing in ourfeminine energy and we have

(33:39):
been now for what?
A well over a few years.
But we're in the age ofAquarius.
We are in the feminine energy.
Masculine energy has shiftedout.
That's why systems arecollapsing.
We are now rising up in thisenergy because we've been out of
balance on our planet for solong.

Speaker 2 (33:58):
Absolutely, absolutely.
So know that if you are wantingto deep dive into this topic,
this is going to be kind of howand why I teach Reiki fusion,
which is that honoring of thetradition and understanding how
we're bringing it forward intocurrent day and into the future,

(34:20):
and so that we're going to bedoing a review.
We're going to be diving intodeeper on what was happening in
Mount Karama and the history.
Like part of this course you'llreceive I think I have over
four hours of history training, like I do the deep dive, like I
really want everyone tounderstand why and how it

(34:42):
transformed over the years topresent day and um, and then we
really get into.
I'm going to be including theEastern Reiki practices
self-attunements, chanting, um,how to invoke some of the powers
of these deities on Mount Krama, like some of these Eastern
Reiki practices that from fromtraditional Reiki that may not

(35:05):
even be taught very oftenanymore.
So I'm going to be includingthat.
So if that is something thatyou're called to do, if that is
a practice that you want to helpheal your Kokoro, with it's
available and to understand that, oh my gosh, I think this is
the thing.
Understand that.
Oh my gosh, I think this is thething, like when I'm in

(35:26):
practice of doing thesepractices with these spiritual
masters, I could feel it, Icould feel all of it and it felt
amazing to be in the chance tobe in the practice, to hear the
prayers and all of the things, and then step back and go.
That was amazing.
And where are the female voices?
Where are the female leadershere?

(35:47):
Like, I had that distance oflike this is amazing and I love
it and there's something missing.
And so I want to bring forwardlike that, like yes, you can
feel it, you can feel all ofthis power and energy by doing
these practices, and the partthat I was missing.
I want to also offer right, andso we're going to be having the

(36:11):
more modern day trainings ofhow do you mix modalities, how
can you do this in an ethicalway, how can you say Reiki to
your life and beyond a session, like how can you flow with Reiki
and that divine, feminineaspect?
Right, and so we're going to bemoving through the Eastern and

(36:33):
the Western, we're going to bemoving through the masculine and
the feminine.
We're going to be movingthrough the symbols and
attunements and how to do andhow to offer those and give
attunements and become theteacher and really recognize
where in my life can I continueto expand in my Reiki practice.
So all of it's going to bethere in a real juicy way so

(36:57):
that you can come through thissix week process and stand in
your truth.
As I am a Reiki teacher, I amsomeone who has wisdom from the
Reiki, from both my trainingshello masculine and from my own
internal sense of self.

(37:17):
My own internal sense of thisis what is true for me.
This is what I want to share.
This is what is flowing andexpansive in my energy today and
be you and I think this iswhere I oftentimes confuse
students and the fact that, whether you're taking our soul
rising training or you're takingmy Reiki masters, I always end

(37:40):
with what feels good for you.
You don't have to do it my way.
There's no, there's nothing inany of this that says you must
teach like X, y and Z.
There is an invitation to go.
What does it look like for youto practice?
What does it look like for youto be in your authenticity and

(38:04):
still remain within ethicalboundaries and practice the way
you want to practice and show upthe way you want to show up and
what does that look like?
So if you don't like a certainaspect of how I teach, I'm not
taking offense to it, I'm likecool, great.
What does that mean to you?
How do you want to take that Idon't like that piece and go.

(38:25):
I'm going to do it my way andstill come back to when you
teach.
How can you give it, stillhonor the tradition, how can you
still honor the culture inwhich it was born, even if you
don't a hundred% disagree withit?
Like, agree with it, right, like I'm not a Buddhist, and yet

(38:47):
I will teach the Buddhismcultural perspective of these
practices, because it's innatelywhere Japanese is born out of
and it's important to understandthat piece.
But am I a Buddhist?

Speaker 3 (38:59):
No, yeah, I think it's important too for this to
be coming out now because youknow, let's just be honest, the
majority of Reiki practitionersand in healing, like, is women.
It's women, and so we do need tostand up and recognize our own
energy and what we're bringingto the table, what we have to

(39:22):
offer, and so it's not for me,it's not like, okay, men, step
aside.
No, it is.
We need to bring in balance nowand we are showing up in our
feminine energy and we aresaying we do have power, we do
have a voice, we do have.
Like, if they would have beendoing the chanting and had the,
the women singing, their chance, you know, bringing in that

(39:44):
feminine voice, what a beautifulbalance that would have brought
in, instead of it all justbeing the chants of the men,
right, but having this woman inthe background, or even, you
know, up front and center, singing and chanting, like I
just feel that that day iscoming, that day will rise on
this planet.
But right now, we are the oneswe are marching for, we're the

(40:05):
ones with our, we are on theline, we are standing, our toes
are on the line right now andwe're doing the work.
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (40:11):
Yeah, and then you know, I love that reminder, you
know, because I have been inspaces where I have taught my
students and because I'm givingthem permission to do it
different, show up differently.
And I had I once had thestudent she was one of my
apprentices and she had takenall my Reiki trainings and she
goes when I do Reiki, my handswant to do this, and it was bull

(40:32):
, big full arm swings.
And she was like and then I andI want to use my voice like
this, and she would sing and I'mlike great.
I was like do it that way, because you know what I feel it?
You are five feet away from me,I'm lying on the table and

(40:52):
you're five feet away from meand I can feel energy throughout
my whole entire body beingilluminated and that aligning
process happening.
And so if that is throughstrange arm movements and your
voice cool, I have no problemwith that.

(41:13):
So, and I think that's where weneed to also have that
permission to like let it flowthe way it wants to flow.
And for me, I think in my mostauthentic form of Reiki, it's
always with white language, likeI'm always channeling some
bizarre yet beautiful language, and when I let it flow out of my

(41:36):
mouth and I move my hands theway they want to move a move.
It's powerful and I and, and sowith that I'm, I'm not really.
I'm not really, I don't knowLike I feel like that's amazing

(41:57):
and beautiful, and I don't wantto deny myself, nor deny any of
my students, the possibility oftheir fullest expression with
Reiki.
Energy Reiki is what Reiki, like, has the possibility to do
is to allow us to opencompletely and fully to our
spiritual gifts and our innatebeautiful nature with this
energy.
Why would we deny that?

Speaker 3 (42:18):
Yeah, it does.
It knew each session shouldfeel different, right?
Because we are not working asystem.
We're working with the energybody on the table.
So, whoever it is that you'reworking with, that's how we
should flow, because we'reconnecting with that person's
energy, which opens us up, right?

(42:39):
So if it is for one person bigand flowy arms and now you're
chanting or you're doing lightlanguage or whatever, and now
you're chanting or you're doinglight language or whatever, and
then you can come in and bestructured because that person's
energy is feeling structured, and now I feel like I need to go
from head to toe, which is veryrare for me.
But if that person's energyfeels like that, that's where
I'm going to go.
But if I come and it's like, ohmy gosh, I am going to be

(43:02):
dancing all over your body andin your like way up here and way
down there, yes, I want to comein and be in that flow.
And when there are people inlike, say, like a couple, or I
have two friends that come andthere's someone in there and
they're just like, oh my gosh, you're just.
It's like a dance, like yourarms are like in a dance and
it's like that's exactly what itshould feel like, like you are

(43:23):
dancing with the energy, you'removing and flow with it.
Your eyes are closed, you're inyour third eye, everything is
open, heart is open, expansionis there.
That is exactly what's beingoffered.
But when we want to be in that, when we find ourselves in the
masculine, that's when you'relike this, and I think that's a
really easy way for people tosee where they are.

(43:43):
Are you flowy with your energyor do you feel very structured?
And if you are structured, doesthat feel right for you?
Does that feel good, or do youfeel like you're listening to
somebody else's way of doing it?

Speaker 2 (43:55):
Yeah, yeah, absolutely.
So we will continue, we'llcontinue in the conversation,
we'll continue in training andshowing up and our voices of,
and permission that you too canfind your balance of flow,
because I feel like when we arein that balance, we have a

(44:17):
mature masculine and femininewithin, we are at our most
powerful.
We are at our most powerful inour voice and in our bodies and,
knowing what we're availablefor and what we're not available
for, we're we're just um, itjust feels absolutely amazing to

(44:38):
to have that internal compassand have Reiki flow with us in
that.
And so thank you all forjoining us in the conversation
