Just as you and I submit our lives to the Lord and wait to see where His plan leads us. But waiting isn't always easy and tends to test our level of submission.
The things that happen in your life are there for a purpose. God has chosen to put things in our life on purpose, it's up to us whether or not we will glean them. But everything passes through His hands and has purpose in our life.

When God chose to save us He rescued us from a hell we could've never escaped on our own. He loved us in our most wretched state as a sinner who needed saving, and continues to love us through our mishaps, disobedience, and failures today.

Today we look at Ruth 2 and talk about how Ruth providentially ended up in Boaz's field. It was by God's hand that the pain had came into her life and it was also by God's hand that she found herself in the lineage of Jesus Christ.
Pain isn't ideal for any of us, but God is a God of order and control and He knew we would walk through hard times before we ever did.
We read on in chapter 1 of Ruth today to look at how the bitterness of Naomi's situation brought her to a place of changing her name.
