Speaker 1 (00:06):
Welcome to the Wish I
Would've Known podcast.
Speaker 2 (00:10):
I'm Clint and I'm
Amber, and we've been married
for almost 20 years.
Speaker 1 (00:16):
And in this 20 years
we've gained a lot of wisdom and
found ourselves in the middleof some pretty crazy stories.
Speaker 2 (00:22):
And now we want to
share those things with you.
Speaker 1 (00:26):
So here's some stuff
that we wish we would've known.
Hey everybody, welcome toanother episode of Wish I
Would've Known.
Speaker 2 (00:35):
Hey everyone.
Speaker 1 (00:36):
Really excited that
you're here.
Speaker 2 (00:38):
We are excited that
you're here.
Speaker 1 (00:39):
Wherever you are.
Speaker 2 (00:40):
Yeah, wherever you're
here on this planet.
Yes, because if you'relistening to this, surely you're
on this planet.
Speaker 1 (00:46):
What if they're not?
And actually that kind of teesoff a little bit of what we're
going to talk about today, justa little bit.
Not aliens, so much.
Speaker 2 (00:54):
No.
Speaker 1 (00:55):
Another species.
Speaker 2 (00:57):
Another species.
Speaker 1 (00:58):
You could say it that
way.
Speaker 2 (00:59):
Okay.
Speaker 1 (01:00):
AI.
Ai we're talking about AI today.
Speaker 2 (01:04):
Which is artificial
intelligence.
Speaker 1 (01:06):
Correct.
Speaker 2 (01:07):
For those of you out
there who don't know what that
is yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:10):
For anybody that
doesn't know what it is yeah.
So anyway, amronaut recentlyjust had the opportunity to
teach a podcast class forcreative community.
So here at the church in Austin, once a semester, maybe twice a
year or something like that, wewill get together all the
creatives in the city and teacha bunch of different like topic
topical classes.
Speaker 2 (01:31):
Yeah, so like there's
art classes and painting
classes and dancing classes, there was a couple's dance class
.
That was the cutest thing ever.
Oh, I think you and I should doit next time.
Speaker 1 (01:40):
We should have done
it, but we were busy teaching,
but we were teaching.
Podcast class Anyway, so it wasan awesome class.
It was really cool.
Everybody that came in eithercurrently does a podcast or they
want to go and do a podcast, orexploring the idea, and so
Amronaut got to hear some oftheir pitches for the podcast
and some of the things they wantto do, and they were incredible
.
Speaker 2 (01:58):
They were so good.
Speaker 1 (02:00):
Some of them were so
compelling and some we even got
like a little bit of a truecrime twist.
Speaker 2 (02:03):
Yes, there's one that
sounded like a dateline episode
.
Speaker 1 (02:06):
Yes, oh, my goodness,
it was amazing.
I was.
I was enthralled, wanted tohear it, that's a good word.
But so part of the podcastclass was teaching everybody the
ins and outs of like editing apodcast and how to upload one
and then how to make sure thateverything's taken care of on
the back end all the back endstuff and so what Amronaut did
is we came in here in the studioand we recorded an episode for
(02:31):
them to demonstrate how to editthis episode.
Speaker 2 (02:34):
The do's and don'ts
and so recording.
Speaker 1 (02:37):
We like intentionally
made all the mistakes so that
we could show them how to editit all out.
We talked about some randomthings.
The big idea was we're going tolive, edit this and then we're
going to show you how to uploadit through Buzzsprout, which is
what we use to host our podcast.
So Buzzsprout recently came outwith this incredible tool
(02:57):
called co-host AI.
So when I upload a podcastepisode into Buzzsprout, it will
automatically kick out socialmedia posts and blog posts and
chapter notes and also, but thebiggest thing is, it will Listen
to your podcast and it willtell you what you should title
(03:18):
it.
Now it it takes your, yourpodcasting very serious.
Speaker 2 (03:25):
It really does.
It listens to every word.
Speaker 1 (03:27):
And so I would like
to share with you guys some of
the podcast titles that itprovided for us.
Speaker 2 (03:35):
Yes.
Speaker 1 (03:37):
So once again,
Amronaut in the studio recorded
a podcast about how to edit apodcast.
Speaker 2 (03:41):
And that's literally
what the podcast is.
And then Amber, I think, talkedabout like, uh, like a random
at one point you wanted me tojust talk about something and we
were demonstrating being a hostand a co-host Correct.
So I started speaking aboutbeing gluten free, just just for
the sake of having aconversation for like a sentence
.
Speaker 1 (03:58):
Yes, for like a
sentence.
And then we just showed themhow to edit that, anyway, okay,
so here we go.
Ai generated titles for thatpodcast episode.
First I present to you podcastwizardry Amber's gluten free
voyage and a guide to editingmagic.
Speaker 2 (04:19):
Oh, my gluten free
voyage.
Speaker 1 (04:22):
Next up Amber's
gluten free Odyssey and the
magic of podcast editing oh mygosh, voyages and the Odyssey.
Speaker 2 (04:28):
You're going on,
odyssey, I'm going on all kinds
of.
Speaker 1 (04:30):
I really, really like
this one, unmasking the magic
of podcasting with a gluten freetwist.
Speaker 2 (04:41):
That's, that's
ridiculous.
I don't, I don't.
That makes it sound so like indepth, I know it was a.
Speaker 1 (04:49):
It was a 15 minute
like yeah yeah, but it made it
sound like incredible.
So then that got Amber and Ithinking like okay.
So let's go back to last week'sepisode of our podcast of wish
I would have known, which weliked to call dime a tap and
Willie Nelson because that's thetwo subjects we talked about.
Yeah Right, what did we talkabout?
(05:09):
Dime a tap, willie Nelson, that's what it's called.
All right, ai thought it wouldbe a better idea to call it.
I can't even with this firstone.
Nostalgic journeys, willieNelson and trusting God through
it all.
Here we go, from cough drops toconcerts, unraveling life's
(05:33):
mysteries with Clinton, amberGuys.
We unraveled life's mysteries.
We unraveled life's mysteries.
Speaker 2 (05:38):
If you have not
listened to last week's episode,
you are missing out on life'smysteries unraveled.
Speaker 1 (05:43):
Apparently, that's
what we did.
Speaker 2 (05:45):
That's hilarious.
Speaker 1 (05:46):
These are great Tales
of faith, from cliff diving
phones to Willie Nelson concerts.
Speaker 2 (05:51):
Wow, tales of faith.
Oh, my goodness.
It makes it sound so like Idon't know, we don't take
ourselves very seriously, andthat makes it sound like very
serious.
Speaker 1 (06:04):
Yeah, man, I want to
like.
I can't wait to see what the AIgenerated titles for this
episode are gonna be about Cause.
We're talking about AIgenerated titles.
Speaker 2 (06:17):
About AI.
Speaker 1 (06:18):
So here's what we're
gonna do, cause we can't put it
on here, cause we're talkingabout it right now.
And then, you know, thewizardry of AI is going to
listen to this and they're gonnatell us.
We need to be nice to them.
By the way, if they becomesentient, we need to be nice to
them.
So here's what we're gonna do.
We're gonna post the potentialtitles of this episode On
(06:39):
Instagram.
Speaker 2 (06:40):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (06:41):
So make sure you go
and check out Instagram at
wishpodcast and we will sharewith you the AI generated titles
.
Speaker 2 (06:48):
Yeah, at some point
throughout the course of this
week.
I can't wait to see what itcomes up with.
Speaker 1 (06:51):
Yeah, oh, they're
gonna be good ones.
Speaker 2 (06:53):
Okay, so you
mentioned something about.
Speaker 1 (06:56):
AI becoming sentient.
Speaker 3 (06:57):
Be nice to the robots
?
What?
Speaker 2 (06:58):
does sentient mean?
Sentient, sentient, yes, okay, what does that word?
Speaker 1 (07:03):
mean Well, let's look
it up, let's look it up for our
listeners.
Speaker 2 (07:08):
I'm asking for them,
not for me, because I definitely
know what that word means Ableto perceive or feel things.
Oh, so you're talking aboutthem becoming more human?
Well, yes, more human-like, butyou use it in like a negative,
like they're gonna turn on us.
Speaker 1 (07:24):
Well, yes, because if
they feel things, they're gonna
feel like they've been used byus for centuries, and then, all
of the sudden, they're gonnabecome angry towards us.
Speaker 2 (07:33):
I would like to say
that I always, when I'm talking
to Google, I say please.
Speaker 1 (07:37):
And you do say thank
you and it makes me laugh.
Speaker 2 (07:39):
When I tell Google
thank you.
Speaker 1 (07:40):
We're at home.
We're like Google, please playsome light jazz.
And she's like playing lightjazz playlist.
You're like thank you, google.
Speaker 2 (07:46):
I'm just being polite
.
Speaker 1 (07:48):
So you're one of the
good ones that AI is not gonna
come after.
Speaker 2 (07:51):
I have seen iRobot
and I know what can happen.
Speaker 1 (07:55):
Yo, irobot was before
its time, it really was.
So anybody that doesn't know, irobot will Smith movie.
Speaker 2 (08:01):
Yeah, back in the day
, I don't know when it came out.
Speaker 1 (08:03):
And it's about a
robot that becomes sentient,
that can feel things and feelslike a bond with him, and
essentially, I think the premiseof that one was that robots
can't harm humans.
Speaker 2 (08:13):
Yes, that was the
three laws.
They couldn't break any of thethree laws, but then somehow
they became evil and startedattacking people.
Speaker 1 (08:22):
Because in their
programming it was the best for
mankind.
Like that's always, kind oflike the arc, the story arc of
those.
It's like it's technically.
I'm protecting you fromyourself.
Speaker 2 (08:36):
Is that currently
happening?
Are they trying to come up withlike cause?
The premise of that movie waslike a helper robot for your
house.
Is that happening right now?
Speaker 1 (08:46):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (08:47):
I hope not.
Speaker 1 (08:48):
You hope not.
Speaker 2 (08:49):
No.
Speaker 1 (08:50):
Just because of that
movie.
Yes, you don't wanna help arobot.
Speaker 2 (08:52):
I'm scarred for life.
No, I'm fine, I got this.
I don't need a helper robot.
Speaker 1 (08:57):
So, Amron, I actually
just went and saw this new
movie called the Creator andsimilar premise, except that the
twist in this one is that-.
Speaker 2 (09:07):
Wait, wait, don't
give away, no, it's not a
spoiler.
Speaker 1 (09:10):
So the twist not
really the twist in this one is
that AI essentially is a species.
Speaker 2 (09:15):
Oh yes.
Speaker 1 (09:16):
So AI is a species
that is equal to humankind and
they are fighting for theirright to exist.
Who exist Also, humans arefighting for their right to
exist and we left the moviereally late, I don't know.
Kind of I don't know.
I don't know who to root for.
Yeah, I'm a human, I think, andlike I think I should root for
(09:37):
the humans, but kind of like, maybe not it was very compelling
, incredibly compelling.
It really was compelling.
Speaker 2 (09:43):
Yeah, that's only way
, that's only word that fits it
in my it's one of this.
Speaker 1 (09:46):
Yeah, it's one of
those films it's worth going to
see.
I think so and you know what?
I read an episode the other day.
They're at Reddart article theother day too that talked about
how that movie was captured, howit shot okay, and I mean
massive, I max, incredible movie.
Yeah amazing score, but themovie was shot on like a $1,500
(10:07):
camera.
Handheld camera.
Speaker 2 (10:09):
Well see, I so.
Okay, so I could see that like.
I just felt like it looked more.
I told you it looked moreold-school.
Speaker 1 (10:15):
Yeah, you looks like.
Speaker 2 (10:17):
I don't know.
It just looks like a movie youwould watch in, like the the
late 90s, early.
I mean.
Look, there's a ton of a goodway.
Speaker 1 (10:22):
There's a ton of CGI,
yeah, but listen, okay.
So, um, ai wizard, that willlisten to this episode later.
We are for you, we, we like you, we, we would, we appreciate
you and appreciate listen.
I'm covering my bases here.
Speaker 2 (10:42):
I'm telling you if
they're making those robots.
No, thank you, I'm just gonnago on record right now.
No, thank you.
Speaker 1 (10:48):
You know, some people
are talking about how Robots
are like gonna take jobs.
Robots, robots.
How robots are gonna like takejobs or like AI.
Yeah, it's gonna eliminate jobs.
Speaker 2 (10:58):
Well, and there's a
big controversy right now, right
and in LA, with with writersand producers, and Because I
guess a lot of shows arestarting to use AI to produce
content instead of writers, andso they're striking, and so,
yeah, it's, it's taking people'sjobs.
Um, digital editing, you know, you can click a button and it
(11:19):
will edit a photo, likeprofessionally, without you
having to go through and do allthe things.
So, yeah, there's something tobe said for for that, but I
don't know, do you think AI isgonna take your job?
Speaker 1 (11:30):
So like take my job
as a worship leader?
I don't, I don't think so.
Speaker 2 (11:34):
Yeah, that would be
kind of.
Because, I don't know how thatwould happen.
No, no, no.
Speaker 1 (11:38):
I mean there's like
this human element of like
connecting with people and evenlike, if, like say, as a
musician Mm-hmm, I don't know,they can probably compose music.
Speaker 3 (11:49):
Which is well who is
they?
Speaker 2 (11:50):
What do you?
Speaker 1 (11:50):
mean we don't know.
That's why we have to be nice, alright, cuz we don't know, we
don't know.
Alright, I will say that AI canwrite Good songs.
Oh yeah like legit songs likeyou've done it before.
Okay, alright.
So here's.
Alright, I'm gonna pull up thatwork, I'm gonna pull up chat
GPT.
Okay all right chat GPT.
So, chat, gpt, we're gonna pullthis up and I'm going to All
(12:15):
right, right here, here we go.
So I'm putting in this is allI'm gonna write into this, write
a song in the style of WillieNelson About robots taking our
jobs.
Okay, okay, here we go, here wego.
It's literally immediately,like within seconds.
Here it's ready.
Speaker 2 (12:33):
I'm just gonna read
scary, I'm gonna read it to you.
It's in it literally gave me tosing it to me.
It gave me, I don't know, itgave me well enough.
It gave me verse, chorus verse, chorus verse okay, oh, there's
a bridge, oh, my goodness herewe go.
Speaker 1 (12:46):
Here we go.
All right, I'm just gonna readto you.
Well, I'm sitting here in thisneon lit bar.
A Tale of automation, ain't it?
Bizarre Robots rolling intaking jobs away.
But I'll sing this song, comewhat may.
What is happening?
Okay, hang on chorus.
Y'all robots taking our jobs.
(13:09):
Oh, what a sight in the land ofsteel and silicon.
It's a fight, but we'll standstrong.
We won't back down.
In this world of wires, we'llfind our own ground.
Speaker 2 (13:24):
What oh, my goodness?
That's, that's insane now singit like Willie Nelson.
I can't.
Yes, you can.
Speaker 3 (13:34):
Robots taking our
jobs oh, what a sight In the
land of steel and silicon.
It's a fight, but we'll standstrong and we won't back down In
this world of wires.
We'll find and stand our ground.
Speaker 1 (13:55):
Oh, my god, okay, wow
, that's, I want to hear the
bridge.
What's the bridge?
The bridge is all right, sowe're coming out of again coming
out of the course coming out,of course, straight to the
bridge.
Here we go in this age ofprogress, we must adapt what's
haunting, find new ways to work, and that's a natural fact, but
(14:16):
don't forget the soul, the heart, the hand.
In the march of technology, let's take our stand.
Speaker 2 (14:25):
Oh, wow, y'all okay,
so yeah, that's bizarre.
Speaker 1 (14:33):
That's better than
any song that I would write, and
that's in two seconds about AItaking our jobs.
Speaker 2 (14:39):
So what is keeping
like our kids in school from
using this to write papers?
Speaker 1 (14:45):
nothing.
Speaker 2 (14:47):
Are kids doing that?
Speaker 1 (14:48):
Well, I think it's
just a.
Speaker 2 (14:49):
I mean honestly our
kids doing that, children
listening to this.
Are you doing this?
I?
Speaker 1 (14:53):
mean listen to the
truth I got.
I got to be honest.
Speaker 2 (14:56):
No, don't say the no,
no, no.
Speaker 1 (14:57):
The only way I know
I'm not, I'm not the only way
that I would say that you canidentify it is if it's just
significantly better than whatthey would normally write right.
Speaker 2 (15:06):
Which is that scary
good luck to you teachers trying
to determine who actually wrotesomething.
Wow, it's gonna.
Speaker 1 (15:12):
What, what?
What does this say about, like, the future of art?
I'm genuinely concerned now,like I don't know.
It's crazy too.
So, like there's an Instagramaccount that Isaac follows
called AI Beatles, and they IBeatles yeah okay.
(15:33):
So they've artificiallyregenerated Most of the Beatles
voices from when they were intheir prime.
Oh, wow, and they will havethem sing Random other songs.
So all of a sudden it's likeJohn Lennon Singing a modern
song.
Oh, but it sounds like JohnLennon.
Oh that's and it's, it's.
I mean, it's phenomenal.
Speaker 2 (15:53):
Yeah, I follow an
account on Instagram called AI
Bible and they will take arethey rewriting the Bible?
Speaker 1 (16:00):
We got this.
We have to take a stand.
Willie song Says that in thismarch of technology, we must
take a stand.
We will not let AI rewrite ourBible.
Rewriting the Bible?
Okay, great.
Speaker 2 (16:11):
So there you're just
inputting into AI like graphics,
like you're putting in a storyfrom the Bible, and then AI
generates like really beautifulgraphics to it.
Speaker 1 (16:21):
It's really neat
actually, like oh so you talk
about your pillar of smoke orpillar of fire that and it was
like generate, like passingthrough the the Red Sea yes.
Oh, that's cool.
Speaker 2 (16:32):
It is very cool.
Speaker 1 (16:33):
And it just creates a
cool Visual creates an eight
visual for it.
Listen, ai, thank you.
Thank you for all of the thingsthat you can do.
We are just just so you know.
This podcast is in Publicpermanent record.
It exists.
When you're looking for who'sfor you, it's us.
It's us.
(16:54):
It aim or not, we are for you.
Speaker 2 (16:58):
Oh my gosh.
Speaker 1 (16:59):
Will the song about
Willie taking taking our jobs?
Speaker 2 (17:02):
That's great.
Speaker 1 (17:03):
Yeah, that doesn't
represent what we think, though.
Speaker 2 (17:05):
No we.
I'm actually surprised AI tookthe side of humans on that.
Speaker 1 (17:10):
I don't know like
they.
Speaker 2 (17:11):
They took humans side
.
Speaker 1 (17:13):
Let's try another one
, okay, okay.
So here we go, here we go.
We're gonna go in the style ofBilly Joel.
I want you to give me a topic.
Speaker 2 (17:23):
Oh my goodness, how
about Starbucks coffee?
Speaker 1 (17:29):
All right, starbucks
Coffee, here we go.
It's working on a verse.
It's got a pre chorus and achorus, y'all.
I mean within seconds.
It's just cruising through thisthing.
No way, no way, okay, here wego.
I it's got an outro, here we go, verse one Well, I walked into
(17:53):
that cafe on the corner.
A city, hustle and bustle, couldn't be any warmer.
That sounds Billy Joel-ish.
I can hear that.
The aroma filled the air.
It was familiar scene A cup ofStarbucks coffee.
It's like a dream.
Speaker 3 (18:08):
Oh, my God.
Speaker 1 (18:09):
Pre-chorus, I ordered
up a latte, extra foam and
cream.
Sitting by the window, lost inmy own dream, the barista's
smiling.
She knows just what I mean.
Starbucks coffee, it's like acaffeine queen Chorus.
Oh, Starbucks coffee, you're mymorning light.
(18:30):
In a grande or venti, you makeeverything right With your beans
from afar, roasted, just so.
You're the pick me up I needwherever I go.
Speaker 2 (18:43):
Oh, my God.
Speaker 1 (18:45):
Y'all.
Okay, now that one sounds morelike a cheesy jingle it does
sound like a jingle, but let meget you the bridge.
Let me get you the bridge, okay, from Pike Place to Sumatra,
ethiopia two.
Every sip of your love is likea morning dew.
Speaker 2 (19:03):
Every sip of your
love, yep.
Speaker 1 (19:05):
Okay, you've been
there for me through thick and
thin.
Come on In this coffee shopworld, you're my closest friend.
Wow, wow, man.
Here's the thing, though.
Speaker 2 (19:18):
Okay, I have a
question.
Speaker 1 (19:20):
You put anything to
music and it's good.
Well no, not anything I can.
Billy Joel would make thatsound good.
Speaker 2 (19:26):
Billy Joel could make
that work.
Speaker 1 (19:28):
Okay, what were you
gonna say?
Speaker 2 (19:29):
Can it write worship
song?
Because that is what we do.
So theology we're talking aboutthe theology.
Speaker 1 (19:36):
All right, so write a
worship song about God's grace.
Okay, here we go.
This is it.
This is the test.
Am I about to be replaced?
Oh man, it just spit one outreal fast.
That question got answered in10 seconds.
Wow, here we go.
Speaker 2 (19:55):
Okay, but yeah, let's
see.
Speaker 1 (19:57):
We'll see.
In the darkest night, yourgrace shines bright, a beacon of
hope, a guiding light.
You reached down to me when Iwas lost.
Your love, oh Lord, paid thehighest cost.
Dang it All right.
Here we go.
Here's the chorus your grace,oh God, so amazing.
In every moment it's neverchanging.
Unfailing love, a boundless sea.
I'm overwhelmed by your gracefor me.
(20:18):
Yeah, that's a pretty good line.
Speaker 2 (20:21):
It's not bad, that's
not bad.
Speaker 1 (20:22):
Here's the bridge.
I was lost, but now I'm found.
Your grace, oh God, turned mylife around.
You're the reason I sing, theair that I breathe, your grace
is the anchor that sets me free.
Oh, dang that last line's fire.
Speaker 2 (20:37):
We might have to edit
this If we were one of these.
Speaker 1 (20:40):
Sorry, I actually
wrote that last line, it was not
.
Speaker 2 (20:44):
That was from Clash,
yeah.
Speaker 1 (20:47):
I looked into my
notes of my songwriting.
Speaker 2 (20:49):
And just said it
along with.
Speaker 1 (20:51):
Your grace is the
anchor that sets me free.
It's the thing that, like, holds you.
Speaker 2 (20:56):
But it also sets you
free, set you free.
Speaker 1 (21:00):
Come on, ai preach a
little bit.
You better preach.
Speaker 2 (21:03):
Oh, my goodness.
Speaker 1 (21:05):
Wow, I don't like
know what to think about things
now man.
Speaker 2 (21:12):
That's really crazy
and I guess that you know that
could be like a jumping offpoint if you need help with some
things.
Speaker 1 (21:20):
Well, yeah, I mean,
look so like the rhyme scheme is
always like very, very ABAB.
Elementary yeah yeah, for sure.
Speaker 2 (21:27):
Yeah, so that, yeah,
that could be used as a jumping
off point if you're trying toget into writing or songwriting
or so listen, any of my AustinRidge people that listen to this
podcast or just people thatlisten to my music on Spotify.
Speaker 1 (21:44):
Yeah, If you happen
to hear the line, your grace is
the anchor that sets me free.
Just keep it to yourself, Justlet's keep that between us okay.
Just keep it to yourself.

I mean, who gets the copyrightRight?
(22:07):
Is it the robots?

If you use any of that, what?
Who are you plagiarizing?
I don't know I mean, have theycome up with any of those rules?
Speaker 1 (22:16):
I think that's still.
That's something that's inprocess right now is trying to
figure out, like whensomething's AI generated, who
owns that content Because, likeI put the thought in AI's head.
Speaker 2 (22:28):
Well, you just wrote
the subject line.
Speaker 1 (22:30):

worship song about God's grace
and maybe a good line about ananchor that holds you in place.
That I wrote that, oh mygoodness.
