War Zone

The last sentence of the Lord’s prayer alerts us to the reality that we live in a spiritual war zone, where the battlefield is our minds, hearts, and souls.  We have hope in the struggle with temptation, because we are not alone.  Join us as we conclude our sermon series: Teach Us To Pray

Forgive Us

What bread is to our body, forgiveness is to our souls.  It nourishes spiritual health, freedom, and life. That’s why King David wrote “Oh, what joy for those whose disobedience is forgiven!” (Psalm 32:1, NLT). It’s also why confession is part of the prayer Jesus taught His followers to pray. Join us as we continue in our sermon series “Teach Us To Pray.”

Daily Bread

Privileges of Membership

“Membership has its privileges” claims an iconic advertising slogan.  True.  And nothing compares to the privileges of membership in God’s family.  Prime among those is prayer.  Join us as we start a 4-part sermon series on the Lord’s Prayer titled “Teach Us To Pray.”

What We All Want

What we all need.  What no relationship can survive without.  What we receive completely through faith in Jesus.  What we still struggle to put into practice.  What?  Forgiveness!  Join us as Pastor Tim Boucher concludes our three-part sermon series, “Relationships that Last.”

“Location, location, location” might be the slogan when it comes to real estate.  When it comes to relationships, it’s all about “communication, communication, communication.”  Join us as we consider four laws of communication from Ephesians 4.

Together

The word “together” makes a big difference, especially when we’re talking about following Jesus. Discipleship thrives in a relational context, which is why phrases like “each other” and “one another” pop up all the time when the Bible speaks about following Jesus.  Join us as Pastor Tim Boucher helps us think about what it means to follow Jesus together

Our Welcoming God

Next month we are going to throw wide open the doors of our church and welcome children, parents, students, and community members into our new spaces.  What will it mean for us to be welcoming and hospitable?  We'll never be able to answer that question fully until we first understand and believe how God has welcomed us into his prsence through Jesus Christ.  Join us as we consider the incomparable wonder of o...

“Thou Shalt Not Whine”

So read the sign hanging in the kitchen of a big family.  We understand why the parents of young kids might post such a rule.  What‘s harder to grasp is that God actually invites us to bring our complaints to Him.  Join us as we consider Psalm 13 and what it means to lament.

Summer in the Psalms

Worship and music have been around for a very long time, at least as long as psalms have been written (and Psalm 90 is attributed to Moses!).  This Sunday we begin a sermon series in the book of Psalms by asking: What are psalms and why are they important?  Join us as the Brath family, plus friends, leads us in singing psalms . . . with a touch of jazz.
