The whole vibe of this episode is similar to the song "We're not gonna take it!" Both Anita and Amy are survivors of both domestic violence growing up, and also psychological abuse in the workplace.
They have both exited their traumatic environments but still feel the physical remnants of lifelong trauma. What are they doing about it? Standing up and saying no more. Through podcasts, building communities, and ultimately movements toward trusting who you are and what you will and will not tolerate out in the world.
When it comes to violence of any kind, it is everyone's business to stop it - that's "how" we create the new world based in love, not hate.
On workplace abuse, understand it, get educated, and do your part to stop it - and do your best never to tolerate it.
