Amy Jackson is the founder and director of The Perch, where she offers Soul Care practices to help people step into a healthy, flourishing life of purpose. The Perch hosts retreats, classes, workshops, groups, and more designed to guide people on their spiritual journey. Amy is the author of two books, a certified yoga teacher, and a certified Wellness and Social-Emotional Learning Facilitator.
In this interview, Amy talks about the spiritual and physical aspects of self-care and caring for your soul. She shares how discovering yoga helped her feel better mentally and physically and became a way to connect with God. Painting and other creative art activities can also be therapeutic practices that lead to greater self-awareness.
