Today, Linette speaks with Maya Robinson of Future Proof Accounting. After getting her Master’s Degree in Accounting from George Washington University, Maya started a career in Public Accounting, working with commercial and Non-Profit Organizations.

She later transitioned into Internal Auditing for the Federal Government. Maya worked for agencies such as: NASA, Department of Justice, and Department of Treasury.

After ten years Maya felt bogged down by bureaucracy and decided she wanted a role where she could truly make a difference in people’s lives. Future Proof Accounting was born, offering comprehensive bookkeeping and accounting services tailored to meet diverse client needs.

It is Maya's philosophy that accounting is about more than just numbers. It’s about building relationships with her clients, understanding their goals, and helping them to achieve financial success.

One of the core values of her firm is a commitment to excellence. Maya believes in delivering the highest quality service to clients, and she does this by staying up to date with the latest accounting trends and technologies.
