Welcome to the "Girls are Players Too" Podcast, a special series brought to you by Women's Baseball The Inside Pitch. GRP2 will count down to the 2025 Australian Women’s and Australian Youth Women’s Championships which will take over Melbourne Ballpark from April 13-19.

WBIP founder Amy McCann teams up with fellow Emeralds alumni Tahnee Lovering and Amy Cannington and this trio knows their Nationals! McCann claimed seven national crowns with Victoria (2003-2014), Lovering five titles with New South Wales (2004-2018), while Cannington (née Collins) is one of the few to win gold in two states, representing both Victoria and New South Wales (2011-2020).

Each week in a dedicated episode profiling each state, the trio will bring their expert insights and knowledge to the mic to dissect the rosters, chat with some of Australia’s best players, mix in a little Nationals history, and more.

In week one, we meet Victoria's Belinda Cannington and Allie Bebbere to discuss their journeys in the sport and preview the Victorian team.  The episode explores the intense rivalries and reflects on the legacy of Victorian teams in national championships. The conversation shifts to the upcoming 2025 Victorian team, highlighting the challenges of youth and inexperience, the importance of leadership, and the personal journeys of players overcoming injuries.   The crew also discussed the journey of learning and development, injury prevention, and the importance of teamwork, the evolution of coaching methods, the introduction of Baseball Five, and the preparation for upcoming Nationals. The episode wraps up with the debut of the podcast segment that is set to take over the world - 'Drip or Skip'. What is it, well you have to tune in to find out!   Plus, you will want to stick around to the end to hear Allie's out-of-office message!

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist

It’s 1996 in rural North Carolina, and an oddball crew makes history when they pull off America’s third largest cash heist. But it’s all downhill from there. Join host Johnny Knoxville as he unspools a wild and woolly tale about a group of regular ‘ol folks who risked it all for a chance at a better life. CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist answers the question: what would you do with 17.3 million dollars? The answer includes diamond rings, mansions, velvet Elvis paintings, plus a run for the border, murder-for-hire-plots, and FBI busts.
