This episode focuses on the way society works to put black men and women against one another. Creating this "battle of the sexes". The question is ...is there really a battle between us or is it really a series of misunderstandings, hurt, and historical trauma.
This mini-series Un:Scripted takes all the narratives and scripted responses and throws it out the window. We are here to talk about real issues that impact the Black Woman and the community we belong to.
Women’s empowerment, strength, and support are things that all women seek. However, when it comes to black females sisterhood is attacked and many times black women are placed in scenarios to promote conflict within. Society has created stereotypes that facilitate expectations and begin to shape the way black women are seen in the world which damages our relationships with others and connection to one another. That’s why this mini-series is so important. Join Me and Keisha as we welcome Dani (The host of My Survivor Voice Podcast) and Marlowe (The Woke Therapist) as we talk about some of these stereotypes and hurtful biases and the importance of authentic sisterhood of black women, Un: Scripted.
