This week Nate tackles something very near and dear to his heart: Mass Effect. Also Shamus Young, a writer who had tragically passed away just a few short years ago. Ben is also here. Sometimes. He's around here. Occasionally he has some good observations that are born out of Nate failing to properly get his point across or describe Shamus Young's writing concepts and then he has to go back and add in a lot of post-recording footgate to better explain himself. This episode started with about 91 minutes of audio and after extensive cuts and recordings it now only has... 101 minutes... well, crap.
Check out Shamus Young's work at https://www.shamusyoung.com/ and consider supporting the author on amazon. The book is currently on sale for $5!

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist
It’s 1996 in rural North Carolina, and an oddball crew makes history when they pull off America’s third largest cash heist. But it’s all downhill from there. Join host Johnny Knoxville as he unspools a wild and woolly tale about a group of regular ‘ol folks who risked it all for a chance at a better life. CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist answers the question: what would you do with 17.3 million dollars? The answer includes diamond rings, mansions, velvet Elvis paintings, plus a run for the border, murder-for-hire-plots, and FBI busts.
