Sometimes life gets tough.  Money is tight. Relationships crack. Emotions run high. What do you do when the storms of life are ragging? You remind yourself of the truth. You may not feel it. You may not see it. But in the middle of the storm it's imperative that we put our anchor on the truth. In this episode I talk about one scripture that holds five key truths to remember in a difficult season.

Hello, my name is Tiffany, and welcome to the podcast Working on Amazing.

This is a podcast where we talk about the work that it takes to rebuild an amazing life.

And I do use that word rebuild.

I know I say this every time, but I'm using the word rebuild specifically, because we are designed for women who feel like they're starting over in the middle of their life.

And like I said, I know I say this every time, but just in case somebody is tuning in for the first time, I want to make sure you know you're in the right place.

What does starting over in the middle of your life feel like?

For me, that felt like a divorce after a 20 year marriage.

And for my sister, it felt like the very unexpected death of her spouse.

For you, it could be a completely different circumstance that leads you to that point.

And while those two examples are completely different, I'm not trying to compare them in terms of grief or trauma or whatever.

The commonality that I'm getting at is in both instances, all my plans, all my hopes, all my dreams for the future went up in smoke.

The same thing happened for my sister.

Everything that we thought our life was going to look like, the carefully planned map of where we were going to go and how we were going to get there, that went up in smoke, and the rug got pulled out from under our feet, and our day-to-day life looked totally different.

And if that's you, the first thing I want to say from the bottom of my heart is I'm so sorry.

I do know how overwhelming and just horrible that feels.

But I'm here to offer hope, I'm here to offer encouragement, because so many women have done this, okay?

Lots and lots of women have gone before you, they've had something happen in the middle of their life that totally threw them for a loop, but they've come out on the other side better for it.

So we're not gonna gatekeep, we're not gonna keep secrets, we're not gonna say we've got some secrets, so we're gonna share, okay?

Because you are not alone, you're actually in the right place, and we're gonna talk about it, and we're gonna grow together, all right?

So welcome, I'm so glad you're here.

Let's get down to today's episode.

Now, just a brief recap, if you'll remember, in the beginning, I said I focused on five areas when I rebuilt my life, my spiritual health, my mental health, my physical health, my financial health, and growth and goals.

And I said each podcast would fall under one of those categories.

So today, we're gonna talk about spiritual health.

I feel like that is vital, it's the first one for a reason.

Spiritual health really, really matters, especially when you're in a dark season.

And so today, what we're gonna talk about is five key truths to remember when you're in a dark season, okay?

And what I am so excited to share with you today is my very favorite scripture verse, and it's just five phrases.

In this scripture verse, I found in early adulthood, and I memorized it, and I just loved it.

It's not one of the ones that's quoted all the time.

You don't see it framed on bracelets or written on t-shirts.

It's not one of the super
