In this week’s episode, we kick off another installment of Fuck That Guy Palooza—because apparently cheating CEOs at Coldplay concerts just won’t stop giving. Yes, we’re talking about the Astronomer CEO who thought snuggling up to HR mid-marriage was a stealth move… until he got smacked by the karmic arm of the Jumbotron. Sir, you’re not even the brightest star in your own scandal.

But that’s not all—we also dive into the emotional mess that is Aiden 2.0. This man really said, “When did I become the bad guy?” as if gaslighting your partner, overstaying your welcome, and sabotaging her career meeting with a bestselling author isn’t textbook man-baby behavior. (Spoiler: it’s been 20 years, bro.)

We break down the week’s And Just Like That episode—where self-abandonment is still trending, sober compatibility gets tested, and someone almost cheats (again) with someone named Marion. We also explore the very real emotional gymnastics women perform to keep the peace, hold the line, and hold their own.

Come for the sarcasm, stay for the heartbreak, and don’t forget to decenter mediocre men.

Not only are we going to recap and Just Like That in this
episode, but we're going to use the chaos on screen to unpack
the mess off screen as well. We're going to be talking
emotional manipulation and cheating scandals and the very
real complexities of dating someone who's not just sober,
but who has a polar opposite lifestyle choice than you do.

(00:38):
And of course, because it wouldn't be the summer without
Fuck That Guy Summerfest, we have a Fuck that Guy Summerfest
story, which I'm thinking it should carry into the fall.
So like, right, So like spooky fest send, right?
Send us your scary dating stories.

(00:59):
Fuck that guy, Fall. Fuck that guy, Fall.
All right, so I want to talk about the first thing I want to
talk about with and just like that.
And before we get into it, if you don't want to listen to the
recap, totally cool. We've got the show notes, we've
got the the time breakdown. You can just Fast forward to the
the other parts of the show. So the first thing I want to

(01:22):
talk about in this episode, because it so pissed me off was
the emotional manipulation. Aiden Aiden shows up.
It carries palatial when they were coming up, that's that
staircase. I was like, Oh my God, she's one
person living there. I clocked it as well.
I was like, oh, we've never gotten this view before.
That's interesting. And I loved I loved the carpet,

(01:43):
by the way, which of course he had to shit on.
Not that he actually shit on thecarpet, but he was he was.
Listen, the way Aiden's going, Iwent at this point, I wouldn't
be surprised, but he has to makelike a snarky comment about it.
Hey, bro, if you want to say in what goes on in this apartment,
why don't you, I don't know, kick in some money or show up a

(02:05):
little bit more, but you don't so zip it because she likes it,
she owns it and that's all that matters.
So he's got a lot of bags and carries immediately suspicious
of this. Hey, what do you have into this
in, you know, in this you, you only have like 3 blue shirts,
which is true. And he says, oh, you know, I'm

(02:26):
this time I'm, you know, I'm planning to stay more than a
couple of days. And you can kind of tell she's
like, all right. So they spend the afternoon
together. Obviously, they're spend the
afternoon together in bed and everything's great.
And she has an alarm for 7:30 PMand she has to get up and she

(02:48):
has to go. She has this, like, appointment
with the writer downstairs. They write together and they, I
think, you know, just review each other's work.
Yeah. And earlier in the day, Aiden
says why don't we invite Dunkin'Donuts for dinner, which again,
here we go. You're being passive aggressive.
And Carrie's like, no, I don't want that.

(03:10):
I don't want that. Kind of I like, like, what did
she say? That's not my kind of
neighborly, something like that.Well.
Yeah, she basically says like, they don't have that kind of
relationship. They just hide together.
They're all business. Right.
Well. That was, you know, maybe a
little overcorrection. I I feel like she's still
thinking about that fight with Miranda, right?

(03:31):
She has to be right. Yeah.
That has to be like sort of justrolling around in her head.
So she makes it clear, no, I don't want to do that.
I don't want to. I don't want to have that kind
of relationship with my neighbor.
So they spend the afternoon together and they're in bed and
she gets up at 7:30 and she's like, listen, I have to go and I
have to have this writing appointment.

(03:55):
And what does he do? What does he he reaches.
For his phone, right? He reaches for his phone, and he
has. To bad news.
Obviously, and it's and not it'snot really bad news, it's just
that Wyatt hasn't responded to his numerous texts.
Because he's got him, yeah. Right.
And because Wyatt's decided to live with his mother and he

(04:15):
goes, when did I become the bad guy?
Bro, how much time do you have? Yeah, how I would say probably
circa 2004. The writer who wrote that line
is probably not a parent. Parents, I think, are pretty
accustomed to being the bad guy. That's kind of like their whole
deal until the kid is like 25. But like, particularly with

(04:36):
teenagers, you're the bad guy all the time.
That's you're literally your ownjob with the teenager.
You know what else was weird to me about the beginning of
Aiden's arrival was honestly theway he just showed up.
Right. All of a sudden, the guys
downstairs and he's popping in. It's Sarah.

(04:56):
You. I think the writers were
listening because this is what you kind of predicted, right?
That he was going to jump up. Yeah.
I mean, Carrie has been very generous calling it their
apartment. It's not.
It's hers. It's hers, right?
But still, like if someone's notaround most of the time,
wouldn't you expect a heads up to say, A, I'm on my way if not

(05:20):
24 hours notice, right? And then B, wouldn't you expect
them to say and I'm going to stay X number of days?
Right. Because that's just kind of like
what you do. Right, right.
When you don't actually live somewhere, right?
Right. You don't.
It doesn't, right? It doesn't matter who it is.
I don't care if it's your part. I don't care.
Right? Say, hey, person, I'm I'd like

(05:43):
to come up for four days or whatever.
But when she hears him talk about how Wyatt wants to live
with his mother, it clicks like,oh, OK, that's why you're here.
You're not here because you wantto be here.
You're here because, oh, you're lonely or you need your ego
stroke. What, like, why are you here?
Oh, OK, so you need me from emotional support.

(06:03):
Got it. And which she's?
Very willing to offer, right? She she offers to cancel with
Duncan so they can go out to dinner.
Very generous, very uncarry. Like honestly.
After Aiden is like, oh man, I was like like, oh Jesus, here we

(06:28):
go. She didn't say it like that, but
it but you know, he, she, I think she, she, there was a
there was a hesitation there. And he explains, well, Wyatt
wants to live with his mother. And when did I become the bad
guy? And she's like, you know what,
I'm going to cancel my appointment with Duncan and
Aiden does it. No, no, no, no, you don't have

(06:49):
to. That's exactly you knew what you
were doing. You knew that this was something
that was important to her. But because you've got your
fucking trust. Trust issues that apparently you
still haven't fucking addressed in 20.
Percent right the first time. It's a trust issue.
It's a. It's a trust.

(07:09):
In any case, he was threatened, he felt insecure, but also he
was pouting and he was being a little boy and he wasn't getting
his way. No, I don't want you to leave.
Right. Bro, yeah, she has a life
outside of you, and if it's so important for you to be the

(07:30):
priority to her, treat her like a priority.
That's what was so weird to me about him just showing up, no
warning and and no indication ofhow long he was going to stay.
I don't know a single person youcould roll up on and be like,
hey, I'm here, right? And they wouldn't have anything
going on. Dude, listen, I can't stand when

(07:51):
my neighbors come to my door. I had this happen to me.
My aunt, someone accidentally got one of my Amazon packages
and they come to my door and they ring the bell and what?
You're what? What?
I don't like when people do that.
Don't come into my building. Nobody does.
Nobody does. And that's just my neighbor.
Like, hey, I'm just dropping offmy Amazon package.

(08:12):
You don't do something like that.
It's just so invasive. Girl, what happened to reading
Vogue and eating crackers with Jelly on it?
What happened to that? Remember those secret single
things that you used to do? Yeah, which?
She's trying to do for herself and he just will not let her

(08:34):
have it. He won't.
He won't let her have it, but hedoes want her to perform the
behavior for him to observe so he could determine the threat
level. Right.
Yeah, that's a great observation, right.
He's being kind of controlling. He is very he's very threatened

(08:54):
clearly by this guy. And mind you, this is the guy
who just slept with his ex-wife.This is that guy.
So if anyone should have the trust issues, it's Carrie.
But no, she's like, I'm just going to go do this and you
hang. You go do something right for
three hours. You used to live here.
Right. You know what?

(09:15):
That you do you not? What about Steve?
Call Steve. Do something.
Get a life. It's not like it would be hard
to spend 3 hours doing something.
It's in man. It's Manhattan, right, Right.
But no, he was going to, he's going to dump.
He's going to trauma dump on her.
Right. Yeah.
And make her feel guilty and instead of prioritizing this

(09:37):
project that is really importantto her, she has to stay and hold
his hand. Also super rude to cancel on
anybody with like 5 minutes notice.
Right girl, do you understand this man is a best selling
author? He's doing you a favor.
Yeah, well, I mean, you know, allegedly so is she, but yeah.

(09:58):
But still. But again, this is your career
and this guy Duncan can really help you here.
And instead of prioritizing yourself, you abandoned what's
important to you to hand hold this big man baby in your bed.
Yep. Right.
It's that that kind of emotionalmanipulation.

(10:20):
No, it I, I had a visceral reaction when he did that.
I went son of a bitch. And then I then I sent you a
text. I'm like, Can you believe this?
I was so bothered by that because it was so transparent
what he was doing. And I was so upset.
Like, you know what he's doing. Don't let him get away with

(10:42):
this. Why are you coddling him?
Because she still feels guilty for 20 years ago.
Which is exactly what he wants. Yeah.
And need I remind you, he just slept with somebody else so she
ends up canceling her plans and whatever, I don't care what the
fuck. Can we move on from Aiden?

(11:03):
Absolutely. I do feel like if this franchise
continues, what I would be interested to see is the back
story of Kathy and Aiden. Because don't you feel like
quite possibly Aiden was still reeling from Carrie when he got
together with Kathy? Girl, he was.
Exactly. So I mean, he brought all those

(11:23):
issues into that relationship. Obviously we see it didn't work
out. Wouldn't.
Wouldn't that be an interesting show to get the back story of
Aiden and Kathy? Right.
I would have loved that. That was a missed opportunity
when they had Carrie and the ex-wife meet because we do know
that Aiden was dramatized essentially from the breakup.
And and it would be interesting to hear from the like, OK, what

(11:48):
was he like then? What was going on then?
Did he does he do any of this stuff with you?
So This is why I loved when she sat with the Russians, ex-wife
Alexander Petrovsky. She met his wife.
They had lunch. It was so great.
And I love seeing these two women just get along and and
kind of bond. Oh, because the the ex-wife kind
of gave some insight. As she would, right.

(12:11):
As she would in a very, very like respectful way without
getting without seeming like mean, you know, she was sort of
letting Carrie know you're nevergoing to come first.
So just get used to that and andit right and and it's always
going to be about him. It's always going to be about
him. Every one of her relationships

(12:31):
has always been about the guy. Always, she always always self
abandoned, just puts everything aside to cater to these men and
and she still hasn't changed, right?
That's just so infuriating. So she canceled the plans and
what, what? Was there anything else to that
story? No, that was pretty much it for

(12:55):
Aiden this week. Yeah, so.
OK, other than Aiden kept like fishing around at the the
gallery. Charlotte had invited everyone
so the whole cast was there and there was a scene where Carrie
and Aiden were separated, so Aiden was trying to fish for
information about Dog. Right, right.

(13:17):
Yeah, asking the gardener. And how uncomfortable did both
of them see? Oh, very yeah.
Very uncomfortable seeing what was like.
Yeah, he's the gardener was like, Oh yeah, he's a meanie and
Seamus, like total meanie. Very uncomfortable because he
is, he is, he's fishing. He's looking for information.
And again, that's there's something so creepy about that.

(13:40):
It's like he just came up there to fight.
I I OK you, you clearly still donot trust her.
Not at all. That's what you did this little.
This is what you did the last time, bro.
You got back together with her and you didn't trust her and now
you're doing it again. Why?
Why is there no growth? You know, I think I have to

(14:01):
blame the show's audience. So many people were just so
taken with Aiden as we first knew him.
As as many missteps as the writers have taken, I I want to
give them credit for intentionally trying to set us
up to see that Aiden sucks. It can never be.
You can't turn back time. I think they are listening

(14:25):
because the turn against Aiden started last season, right?
Yeah. Started after the whole thing
where he was like, can you wait five years?
And. And every woman who was ever
creaming over this guy was like, what, what did he say?
What did he just say? Yeah, yeah.
What now? Right, Blah, blah, blah.
What? And that's when the tide change.

(14:46):
And I think the writers are maybe listening to that and
realize, OK, they don't like Aiden anymore.
And we do have to sort of changewith the times here, right?
Because the reason why we thought Aiden was so great a
compared to big, he was. Yeah, right.
He was. Oh, he's just so emotionally
secure and he's very confident. And John Corbett, man, he is

(15:08):
just a charmer. Well, Aiden in the beginning was
very charming and as a characterfoil to Big, at least at the
time, we had Big who basically contributed nothing material to
care. Of his life.
Right. All he brought was drama, right?
And Aiden came in and he seemed very practical.

(15:28):
Remember the first time he came over to Carrie's place?
He was like I. Can fix your floors.
Was that the first time he'd been there?
I. Think it was not the first time,
it was early. And so I think that was charming
at least. Again, in contrast to big.
But of course, the flip side of that is Big.
Just let her be. Whereas Aiden was always trying
to change her. Well, here's the thing, when

(15:49):
they got back together after shecheated, people were siding with
Aiden. When he was flirting with the
bartender, people were siding with him.
But listen, I think we were all in our pick me era back then and
or maybe not you. I was.
It was hard for me to be mad at Aiden for flirting with the
bartender because one thing I dounderstand is wanting revenge,

(16:14):
wanting to even the score. I get it.
That's why you should never get back together with an X in the
first place. Right.
Exactly. So, you know, that second time
around, we started to see the cracks with Aiden, and now we
see he's this toxic, borderline kind of abusive guy.
He really was good at hiding it.I think he's giving everybody

(16:35):
the ick right now. Yeah, he starts with the phone.
Sex. Right now, let's talk about Lisa
and her coworker, her editor, Marion.
She's talking about how she is having sex dreams about Marian.
She's talking to Charlotte aboutthis.
And Charlotte, man, she's that great friend who's like, you
know, you work together and you're kind of supposed to have

(16:56):
that like, kind of synergy and that connection.
And, and Lisa's like, yeah, you're right.
There's Charlotte being that good friend, Not judging.
Please listen. Where would Charlotte be if this
was? If this was happening 20 years
ago, what do you think Charlottewould be saying?
Something judgmental, yeah. But really, ever since Carrie's
doomed first marriage attempt tobig, Charlotte has been the real

(17:19):
MVP. Right.
She really has. And Charlotte's listening to her
and you know, know it, Like you're just flirting at work.
You're you're flirting that that's all it.
Is chemistry with your? Culture.
Yeah, right. Creative process, right?
Yep, she's being very supportive.
Right. Lisa's supposed to go to the
gallery opening, right? And Marian invites her to this

(17:40):
screening because Michelle Obama's people are going to be
there. And she's trying to get Michelle
Obama into the series that she'sproducing.
And she's kind of uncomfortable because he is being flirty.
He's flirting with her. I did not get that from him at
all. Oh my God, I did.
And, and I don't know, maybe he's just one of those guys that
sort of exudes that kind of heat.

(18:02):
I yeah, I didn't get anything ontour from him.
See, I did. I did.
And I was really bothered by that because I was like, bro,
you're married too. Right.
And Lisa, you know he's married.Right.
So what are you doing? Your husband's suspicious.
Well, he's getting there, right? He's getting there because not

(18:24):
only is she like, Oh my God, Oh my God, Oh my God.
No, no, no, no. It's a work thing.
It's a work thing. She comes home because they're
supposed to go to the gallery and she, I don't know.
What did she do? She popped some tomatoes in her,
like, cherry tomatoes in her mouth.
And it's the work thing. If they're working.
And her husband's like, OK, what?
Well, wait a minute. What do you mean?
What do you mean? And she finally brings up the
fact that she's supposed to meetthis person connected with
Michelle Obama, and he's like, all right, OK, I get it.

(18:47):
Right. Like basically it was like, why
didn't you just say that? Right.
Why didn't you just fucking say that?
And the day before she has another sex dream, what she
trying to do? She tries to have sex with her
husband which. Before we get into this.
Yes. When Herberts like, why don't
you just say that? Similarly, Herbert, why don't
you just get the seltzer that your daughter wants?

(19:08):
Right, right. Why?
Does it have to be Mom? Can you not DoorDash it?
Right. Anybody has postmanship DoorDash
at this show? Well, well, Charlotte does.
We know that. Yeah, true.
So she in. Amazon Prime hell.
Right. She goes to the screening and
their knees touched. And when she gets up to leave,

(19:29):
she's like, Oh my God, she's got, I've got to get out of
there. I've got.
Because she just feels like, oh,this is crossing a line.
Yeah. And the way they're standing
there and they're kind of staring at each other, I totally
feel like they both are feeling something.
And I'm going to be really fucking disappointed if they
have her cheat on her husband. You know, to be honest, I was a
little disappointed with that attempted morning sex scene.

(19:52):
Why? Between her and her husband,
that's a little creepy. Well, yeah, because he was
asleep. That's precisely what I'm
getting at. If we saw a man groping his wife
while she was asleep, we'd be like 1000 times thick.
Yeah, I agree with that. I didn't even think of that.
Yeah, at least wake him up first.
Right, please. So the the whole cheating with

(20:15):
the Co worker thing, we're goingto get to that because we're
going to be talking about that that stupid CEO got caught
cheating on his wife. We're going to be talking about
that once we finish this recap. What a douche.
And I just think, please don't do this.
Please don't ruin this characterfor me because I love this
character. It's.
Also just like kind of boring. Well, the cheating story you.

(20:37):
Know yeah, it's been done, but here's the thing, like you kind
of just said, why couldn't the husband have gotten the seltzer?
Yeah. I've been saying this, he does
really seem to downplay what shedoes.
Yeah. Right.
Like there is that. And I have to credit the writers
with the way they've been sort of planning those.

(20:58):
And maybe they're not even doingit intentionally, but they have
sort of been planting these seeds that he thinks his stuff
is more important than hers. Yes, it's like he's very
supportive but almost like she has a hobby and he has a queer.
He doesn't take what she does seriously, which disappoints me,
probably because I love Christopher Jackson so much.
Oh PS We were so upset that Patti Lupone didn't sing in last

(21:21):
week's episode. Christopher Jackson.
Hello, original cast member of Hamilton.
He didn't sing either. What is happening?
What is happening so? They're just taunting us.
They really are. So I don't know where that
storyline's going, but I'm goingto be super disappointed if they
have her Chi Now this is the this is the the the story that

(21:43):
you that you thought was the medias of the episode.
So Miranda is dating Joy. Another one.
I'm on the way to the Illinois home from the airport.
Ding Dong. What do you mean?
Do you is your phone not working?
Can you just send a text? What do you mean?
Ding Dong? What do you mean?
So she just drops by unannouncedand she's got this huge bottle

(22:07):
of gin. Doesn't Joy say Oh my God, I
just remembered you don't drink? That's a very strange thing to
forget. I'm.
Not sure it is. I feel like I would clock it,
but only because I would be wondering if it was meaningful.
And if you've never dated an addict before, maybe it wouldn't

(22:27):
be something that you would clock.
Maybe you'd just be like, you know, they don't drink.
Well, you OK? Maybe when I used to go home, I
had a friend in Boston. He was had been sober 20 years.
But even still, when we would goto dinner, I would say, are you
OK if I get a glass of wine? And I never felt comfortable
doing it in front of him. So I always had like my glass of

(22:49):
wine, a soda water and I always felt uncomfortable.
So Miranda tells Charlotte and Carrie about this experience and
PS Joy wants Joy. Let's her keep the gin at her
place. Seems like that was the reason
she came over cuz doesn't she say I got this gin?
You can't get it in the US. Can I keep a bottle at your
place? If that were the case then I

(23:12):
would be wondering, are you an alcoholic?
Well, I mean, I'm sure it was onthe way.
You know, I'm sure like she wanted to see Miranda anyway.
But right, yes, you know, like that was it like that was the,
you know, small R reason she came over?
Right, so Miranda tells Charlotte and Carey about the
thing with the gin and take us on a journey.

(23:35):
Oh me. Yes.
OK so Miranda and Joy are talking and the not drinking
thing comes ugly because Miranda's like why?
I don't have any mixers, which Ithink is what made Joy remember.
Oh, right, yes, you don't drink. But Miranda sort of downplays
the not drinking. She's like, Nope, totally cool,

(23:55):
I'm breezy. You can keep it here.
I'm breezy. Yeah, she brings this up to the
ladies. Carrie does what Carrie does.
She makes a face about it, but doesn't say anything because
she's passive aggressive. And then Charlotte, because
she's a good friend. It's like, wait a minute, what
is this a good idea? It's kind of seems like you're
tempting fate here. Miranda says something so

(24:17):
interesting, though. To paraphrase, why do I have to
be defined by my worst moments? And she elaborates by saying I
haven't been an alcoholic my entire life.
I was an alcoholic last year, but I had a terrible year.
What if I'm not an alcoholic? What if I just was a lesbian and

(24:39):
I was married to Steve? Let's remind people she's
watching some reality show and she's trying to work.
She gets up, she goes over the cabinet, she gets the gin, she
pours it in the glass and she throws it out.
But first she reaches for a cookie.
And she doesn't want the cookie. She pours a drink and she almost
drinks it. She pours it, you know, dumps
it, goes back to work, it can't get back to work, goes back,

(25:02):
gets the gin, throws it downstairs.
PS You need to recycle. You can't throw glass down.
PS Someone else bought that. It's not yours.
Yeah, at least call Joy and be like, I'm sorry, but you got to
come get this. If you don't want to call Joy,
call Charlotte. Do.
Something do? Something other than what she
did, which was stupid. Let's talk about the cheating

(25:23):
CEO. OK.
If you're on social media, you you've heard about this.
So these two Co workers, one's the CEO, 1's the head of HR.
Yeah, they are at a Coldplay concert.
Now, important fact, you must know they're both married to
different people, right? And they're at this concert with

(25:44):
a Co worker and Chris Martin is doing some sort of like
Jumbotron, Jumbotron, you know, catching different people in the
audience on the Cam. And he, he pans to this couple
cause and they're like snugglingand he's got his arm around her
waist and they're listening to the music and that the both of
them, bam, he hits the fucking floor.

(26:08):
But she laughed and I was like, bro, that's not great.
That's not great because she thought it was funny.
But dude, you have a husband andhe has a wife and you're
laughing at this? Are you talking about the woman
in the embrace or the one that was standing next to the woman?
In the embrace. I don't remember her laughing.

(26:29):
I she, I mean. She was definitely smiling.
Yeah, she, well, she looked surprised for sure.
Listen, she should have looked more than surprised.
She should have looked horrified.
No, you think. A lot of people just respond
inappropriately in the moment. Is that like, especially women,
Anything awkward you're gonna smile at?
Right. I will say I'm somebody when

(26:50):
stupid stuff I, I out of nervousness, I laugh and I
that's not how I meant it. But now in a situation like
that, that's a big fucking deal.Like that's a big deal.
And he just like he was gone, hehit the floor.
She covered her face and turned around and then we panned

(27:10):
slightly over to another Co worker beside them who thought
this was hilarious. Hilarious.
But Chris Martin, he's on stage and he's like, either those two
are having an affair or they're very shy.
Yeah. I didn't know Chris Martin was
that clever. I got to hand it to Chris

(27:32):
Martin, honestly. So here's what we find out.
The coworker obviously knows about the affair.
Yeah. Coworker recently got promoted.
Yeah, so. That's interesting.
She gets a promotion probably asa way to like to keep her.
Make sure to keep the secret quiet.
And who knows, but the CEO's wife changed her last name, went

(27:55):
back to her maiden name on Facebook.
Good for her. Because you know, in these
situations, how many people would have been like, no, I'm
going to stand by my man type ofthing.
And I'm glad that she said Nope,I'm not.
I'm not doing this. Perhaps that that was her
motivation. I also have to assume that
people were like harassing her on mass because they were

(28:20):
harassing. The two people were caught.
True, true. I hope she fucking takes me to
the cleaners. This is exactly what I'm talking
about when I say these things onTikTok.
If your name is Allison and you're dating a guy named Greg
and he's in A at a bachelor party in Las Vegas, he's
cheating on you. Hey, you don't care about these
people, so don't say that you dobecause when this gets

(28:43):
discovered and it always does, and this goes viral because it
always does, you're humiliating the girlfriend.
It's never the man again, is whyI'm like, why are you doing
this? And don't say it's because
you're a girl's girl, because ifyou were, you would think this
through and you would know, OK, this could really put a woman in
a very, very bad position. This is different to me though.

(29:06):
There's a there's another layer to this because usually these
things circulate amongst the girls.
This went super viral. People were talking shit about
this Kristen on LinkedIn and LinkedIn is not a messy bitch
usually. Well, it can be, but not in this
way, right? People were going to this dude's
LinkedIn and shaming him there, and I think that the sheer

(29:30):
unmitigated Glee that people areresponding to this with is
entirely due to class consciousness.
We want both of these people to lose all their money.
We love it, we love to see it. So yes, I can understand why
people think it's funny. Still, you have to think about
the spouses. Maybe you don't.

(29:53):
You don't. Apparently you don't,
apparently. You don't.
I just, I felt how embarrassing that would be.
I mean, this, this dude's wife, you know, she's only not the
villain here because there's a worse person, right?
Like, we're not going to feel sympathy for her about what
happened. We're going to feel more

(30:16):
delighted that, oh, she's going to, you know, get half his money
in the divorce. No one is upset or thinking
about the dissolution of their marriage, which I like.
I get they're strangers but alsowe don't want good for either of
them. You, you kind of wonder though,
how many people at work, I've told the story about the guy at
work who was like, he was livingwith a woman.
He was having sex with his administrative assistant.

(30:38):
Everybody knew. Well, everybody knew.
People do know, yeah, Depends on, right.
I just think most people are notgreat at hiding that behavior.
When you first start seeing someone, you're excited about
them, right? Yeah, I get it.
I do. You're all over him all the
time. Kind of like Lisa, right?
LTW. She's only interested in Marion
cuz he's novel. Is that it?

(31:00):
Cuz he's. Well, I mean, obviously he's
good looking and talented. Yeah.
But. But yeah, I mean, she kind of
voices that in this episode, right?
Like she's she's looking for thenewness.
I do. I do think she's looking for the
newness. I do.
I agree with that. The dopamine isn't it isn't, you
know, flowing as as heavily anymore and you settle in and

(31:20):
you get comfortable. You are, you're looking for a
dopamine rush. So yeah, well, I didn't say this
in the beginning of the episode, but we combined this because
we're starting up again with thebonus episodes.
