(01:11):
And how are you today?

Speaker 2 (01:13):
I'm doing good. Thanks for having me back.

Speaker 1 (01:15):
Oh yeah nah, no problem, no problem. You know me
and you could talk about wrestling for hours, so I definitely.

Speaker 2 (01:21):
Have you back on Oh for sure.

Speaker 1 (01:25):
Yes, especially at the SummerSlam, which in my opinion was
a huge success.

Speaker 2 (01:31):
I definitely have to agree with you there.

Speaker 1 (01:33):
Yes, and then also so and then what was pretty
much your overall thoughts about the event.

Speaker 2 (01:43):
My overall thoughts is it was some great wins, some upsets,
but I feel like it was good overall for this
being the first for being a two night event. So
I do like that they split it into two nights
so we can have more minutes.

Speaker 1 (02:01):
M Yeah, yeah, I agree, I was. I was definitely
content with some and sim especially with the main event,
and I'm gonna get into that later on. But overall,
I think for too nice they did, they thank but
I just hope in the future because I know next
year they're gonna do it too nice again. I want
them to include n XT.

Speaker 2 (02:18):
I definitely want them to include in n XT. I
feel like it'll give us an even greater variety that
we got this time around, although we got some good variety,
but those those NXT wrestlers, they they need to get
some shine too.

Speaker 1 (02:33):
Yeah, I agree, yeah, yeah, because I mean they got
they got a lot of talent on there, so why.

Speaker 2 (02:38):
Not bring them to light exactly?

Speaker 1 (02:41):
Yeah, Now, what was what would you say would be
one of your favorite matches?

Speaker 2 (02:45):
And you know, I'm usually into the girls for the matches.
I agree, just because I feel like they just give
not to down to men or anything, but they just
give the extra you know, push for the matches. It
was an Internet the Women's International Championship match that was

(03:07):
honestly one of my favorite matches. Uh, the of the
whole thing from like one and two.

Speaker 1 (03:15):
Yeah, I agree that match between Naomi and Ria Eo.
It was a great match.

Speaker 2 (03:19):
It was.

Speaker 1 (03:20):
And then what a way for Naomi to retain her title.
And then her insurance was on point, so you know,
her dad is a guitarist, and then her dad have
to be able to play her theme song coming now
that was cool. And then and then what a year
for Naomi. Of course we all heard the good news
she's gonna be a mom and yes, yeah that is
so good. So and then and then she we all

(03:41):
found out on Stephan to make Man's podcast and on
Monday Night Raw. So congratulations to Naomi and Jimmy so excited.
I know, yes, that's that's Listally I want to I.

Speaker 2 (03:53):
Hope she showed a baby like right away because I'm
kind of thirsty.

Speaker 1 (03:57):
I know, yeah, I mean a baby gonna be adorable either.
She has had an amazing year. I mean, you think
about it. She don't want money in the bank and
cashed in her money in the bank briefcase. And then
she won the women's world heavyweight title, cashing it in unexpectedly,
unexpectedly on re Eo Sky and then to find out

(04:20):
she's going to be a mom. So I mean it's yeah,
kudos to Naomi. She's doing her thing. Where to run exactly?

Speaker 2 (04:28):
What a run?

Speaker 1 (04:29):
And then wait until she come back.

Speaker 2 (04:31):
Look better than devil. Look did she work off that
mummy butt and come back?

Speaker 1 (04:36):
Oh yeah, she definitely will. Though. I mean, if you
look at it, how long did it take for Becky
Lynch and Alexa Bliss to get back in shape?

Speaker 2 (04:43):
That's true? I mean your body, what's your body is
in shape? It doesn't take much for you to bounce
back because your body already knows what.

Speaker 1 (04:51):
To do exactly. I agree. Now, what do you now?
What do you? What did you think about that tag
match between jay Ouso Rummer Reigns versus Bronson Reed and
bron Breaker.

Speaker 2 (05:03):
It was it was a good match. I'm not gonna
hold you.

Speaker 1 (05:06):
It was.

Speaker 2 (05:06):
It was a good match. I I don't remember if
I said Roman and jay usso was gonna win that win,
but I can't. I can't remember my prediction on that one.
But it was a good match though it was upset
like some people thought it was gonna be, but it was.
It was good.

Speaker 1 (05:26):
It was good. Yeah, I have to agree. I think
you predict that Bron and Bronson was gonna win because
I thought so too. I mean, I figured Paul Haymon
is gonna be out there so white naturally, he's gonna
try to help them out. But for Jaye and Roman
to pull off the win the way that they did,
it just goes to show you that the bloodline is
still dominant.

Speaker 2 (05:46):
It definitely is still dominant.

Speaker 1 (05:47):
It's alive, end kicking yep. And then what a way
for Roman to take that spear for j yep. Yeah.
So other than that that, that was a good match though. Now,
what would you say about the Women's Tag Team Championship
match with Charlotte Alexa versus Rock on the Roxanne.

Speaker 2 (06:06):
I'm trying to get my thoughts together.

Speaker 1 (06:08):
Yeah, and I had I thought it was a good match.

Speaker 2 (06:11):
Though, I thought it was a good batch. I thought
it was a good batch. I was just really trying
to give my thoughts together about it. But the fact
that Alexa Charlotte beat Judgment Day crazy like crazy. I
don't know who saw that coming.

Speaker 1 (06:32):
Yeah, but you yeah, I mean it's like, I think
I predicted for Charlotte and Alexa to win.

Speaker 2 (06:37):
I believe you did predict that.

Speaker 1 (06:39):
Yeah, but here's the thing, and they're gonna it looked
like they're gonna remain a team for a while. And
now do say they're gonna hold them titles longer than
I expected, because if you think about they got their
own merchandise out and I think Cedric has said this
in the last episode, and they and then also that
you see the introduction to Charlie the little doll they have, Yeah,

(06:59):
I did see that.

Speaker 2 (07:00):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (07:01):
Yeah, So that tells you right there that they might
they might seem up longer than what we think. And
I just feel like, I'm sorry, I said I'm here
for it. Oh yeah, definitely. And I just feel like
Roqueale and Roxanne they lost those titles for a reason. Yeah,
so now we just got to see what's what's to
deal with them? Now? Are they gonna it's Roxanne gonna

(07:21):
still be a part of Judgment deal. She's gonna just
you know, go her own separate ways.

Speaker 2 (07:26):
Like break off. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (07:28):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (07:28):
Are they just or are they setting them up for
like a defeat, sending them up for a comeback, a
bigger comeback? Now that could be a thing too, because
you know that they're good for that.

Speaker 1 (07:40):
Yeah they are. Yeah, because if you think about a
Roqueale that's been holding it down on the women's side
of Judgment Day since Lived has been recovering from her
shoulder injury.

Speaker 2 (07:48):
Mm hmm.

Speaker 1 (07:49):
Yeah. So and then Roxanne was the perfect mix though.
But I do say they got something better where the
producers have something better in store for those two.

Speaker 2 (07:57):
Yeah, I agree. We just don't know which way they
gonna take it, but I'm excited to see what they do.

Speaker 1 (08:03):
Yeah, same here. Now what do you say? What do
you think about that match between Sammy Zay and Carrie
and Crawls.

Speaker 2 (08:09):
I like the fact that Sammy Zain won.

Speaker 1 (08:13):
Yeah, I just I like that fact.

Speaker 2 (08:17):
Yeah, I'm pretty sure I predicted that Samage was gonna
win that one, but yeah that I just wanted Sammy
to win. I don't I don't know what else to
say about it. I just really wanted Sabby to win,
like that was to go.

Speaker 1 (08:32):
Saying here because you know about and I think I
said this on a previous episode, but I think it's
either gonna be Sammy or seeing Punk that gets pushed
to win the Royal Rambo next year, because if you
think about it, Sammy wants to be champion, and of
course Punk wants to regain the title after what happened,
and then we would get into that later. So yeah,
I'm so I'm I'm pulling for Sammy here. I mean,

(08:52):
I'm glad he won, and I'm glad he stayed true
and he didn't try to cheat to be carrying and
now he just got to see what us up. But
I think it would have been interesting if he had
to turn heel and then try and then you know,
work with carrying. I think that would have been interesting.
But you know, I guess they got a better direction
for those two.

Speaker 2 (09:10):
Yeah, but he could still do it. I don't know now,
but we still got you know, some events coming up,
so you never know.

Speaker 1 (09:20):
That's true, but it's kind of gonna be hard because
Sammy is now on SmackDown, so Yeah, so now they
got to figure out, Okay, they're gonna move carrying over
the SmackDown or what are they gonna do?

Speaker 2 (09:32):
True?

Speaker 1 (09:33):
Yeah, so we did'll see. But other than I was
happy that Sammy won. Now what in your honest opinion,
what do you think? What did you think about that
match between Tiffany and Jade?

Speaker 2 (09:42):
That match?

Speaker 1 (09:43):
Yeah? I was disappointed, That's.

Speaker 2 (09:47):
What I said. Like that like that match?

Speaker 1 (09:50):
Yeah, No, I agree a big enough. First of all,
the match shouldn't have been longer than what it was.
I know that Tiffany and Jake can can go longer
than that. And I just don't think that Jay should
have took their loss that easy like that. I could
see if she kicked out on maybe two prettiest moon
sauce and then Tiffany got her with the third one. Okay,

(10:12):
make it a match though, And I understand I knew
they was going to have her retain that title because
they're not ready for her to drop the title with
her only having that title for a few months.

Speaker 2 (10:23):
Yeah, So I just.

Speaker 1 (10:24):
Think, in my opinion, that match shouldn't have been longer.
I just felt Jade have a lot to prove though.
Oh she has proved a lot, so it's like, why
make her lose like that real fast? And I think
that match was like five to seven minutes, and I'm like,
that match could have easily been a twenty or thirty
minute match. I know they can go longer.

Speaker 2 (10:42):
Than that, and I know boxing matches longer than that.

Speaker 1 (10:45):
Exactly. Yeah, that was a huge upset, but like I said,
I just think they shouldn't have made that match longer
and made it more competitive. Show j that she is capable, well,
let her prove. Let j prove to people that or
to the producer that she can she is capable of
being the champion exactly. Let her prove of work and that.
And I think she's gonna be next to, you know,

(11:08):
possibly win the Royal Rumble next year, because I still
want to see that dream match between her and Bianca,
And the way they should do it is have her
and beyonc will be the last two and that rumble
and then have and then set it for Jade to win,
because if you think about it, Beyonca has already won
a Royal Rumble, you know interested and then two make
that be Beyonca's big change. And what I mean by

(11:31):
that is make that be her big heel change to
where she made to where Jade is the old Smith
baby face, and of course that'll be Beyonca's way of
passing the torch to her. Yep, adam fighting mania. Either
for the title or just have a regular one on
one match and then whoever wins that match man or
because I know she wins, okay, she gets a title shot,

(11:52):
or to make it a triple threat match for the title,
something to make it interested. And if Jaye wins, then
of course her and Beyonca will go at it for
that title. I think they should do something like that.

Speaker 2 (12:03):
Yeah, I think the triple threat match will be dope.

Speaker 1 (12:05):
Yeah, it would be, but it's.

Speaker 2 (12:07):
Like versus the versus, like a tag team on one
on one on one match. I think a triple threat
match will be dope for the title true to defend it.

Speaker 1 (12:15):
Yeah, Now what title do you think jay would go after?
Because I mean, you think about it. The World Women's Champion,
I mean, from what I know is still vacant right now.
Of course Tiffany is still holding it down. It's like
who would she choose? Hmmm. I think it's like, you know,
I know her and Tiffany is going back and forth
at it, but I still say Tiffany is gonna hold

(12:36):
that title longer than what we expect. So it's like,
it'd be cool if she goes after that World Heavyweight
championship though, because if you think by Bianca, I believe
she's still on you know, under contract with Raw right now,
and of course with Jay moving over to SmackDown, it's
like she still has that leverage. Okay, she's gonna go
to Is she gonna go to SmackDown or Raw? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (12:58):
And the thing is is that she she's on a
main show, so it's not like she's on like, you know,
some other random show.

Speaker 1 (13:06):
She's the show.

Speaker 2 (13:07):
So SmackDown Maine for Thursday, Raw Maine for Monday. So
if she moves from SmackDown to Raw on Monday, that'd
be dope. But if she stays on SmackDown, then that'll
be okay too because it's still one of the main
event shows.

Speaker 1 (13:20):
That's true. Yeah, true, But we'll see though. But hopefully
you know, Jay can't win that rum because if you
think about it, she is Queen of the Ring and
that's pretty much ext step to winning something big though,
you know, so I'm thinking they're gonna have They're gonna
set it for her to win a Rambo next year. Yeah,
but like I said, that was one of my least
favorite matches because I know that Jay is a competitor

(13:41):
and I know that she could she she could have
went longer than that. Now what do you yep? Now,
what did you think about that tag match with Randy
Jordan and Jelly Roll versus Drew McIntyre or Logan Paul.

Speaker 2 (13:53):
I'm upset that Jelly Roll got beat, but I said
that he gave it his best shot, and I respect
him for that. He gave it his best shot, probably
one of the better celebrity matches I've seen, and I
give him his props he did well because I don't

(14:14):
know if I could have even held up in the
ring like he did.

Speaker 1 (14:16):
So I agree, because yeah, I agree his flowers. Yeah,
definitely deserves his flowers and he and he basically put
a master in that match. Basically, don't give up no
matter what you're going through, just keep fighting. Because I
thought when he got slammed through that table, and I
thought that was a little bit too much for his
first match for him to take that.

Speaker 2 (14:37):
I feel like they should have put him through the table.
I mean, I get the entertainment factor, but going through
a table mm first time out, that's that's a little bit.

Speaker 1 (14:48):
Then you shouldn't have seen how he jumped up to
do that. I'm like, no, that's too much.

Speaker 2 (14:52):
I mean that was that was straight. That was straight
acrobatic stuff.

Speaker 1 (14:58):
He was going.

Speaker 2 (14:58):
I was like, this is raw sport.

Speaker 1 (15:02):
Yeah yeah, but yeah, I gotta give it to Jelly.
He took them move like a champ though, to steal off.
But it's like, I understand why Randy and Jelly Raw
lost his life. They still want to give leverage to
Drew and Logan, so I get basing. So I guess
they figure, yeah, we're gonna pay you to do this match.
But that don't mean you feel.

Speaker 2 (15:20):
End that's cool. I just I just run to the
back with my money.

Speaker 1 (15:24):
That's all exactly. He did come the next night the
way to everybody and stuff like that. When they introduced
the celebrities that's there. Yeah you see.

Speaker 2 (15:32):
Yeah he was hurt though, but I was like, man,
I know he was using being gay ice pecs. I
reprofed all that.

Speaker 1 (15:43):
Yeah, sure, the ease that pain.

Speaker 2 (15:46):
Probably probably I'm not sure if Roy drink, but uh,
you know, he probably was probably trying to down some
whiskey pain.

Speaker 1 (15:56):
Yeah, sure, he was probably trying to do some of everything,
you know, because I didn't even keep it's gonna get
back up.

Speaker 2 (16:02):
That oo she's mm hmm.

Speaker 1 (16:05):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (16:05):
But they do get real life hurt, like, yeah, they do,
they do.

Speaker 1 (16:09):
That's what I'm like. I felt like for his first match,
that was too much for him to go through that
table mm hmmm. Yeah, but at least he's okay though,
and Randy all good. Now, what did you think about
that may have been matched between seeing Punk versus gone through?

Speaker 2 (16:25):
I mean I figured that seeing Punk was gonna win,
to be honest, against Gan through, I kind of figure
that much. But he, of course, you know, he won't
gonna go down without no fight.

Speaker 1 (16:37):
Oh yeah, definitely he wouldn't.

Speaker 2 (16:40):
It ain't no way that you can get through that
without a fight, Like it's just him. So I feel like, yeah,
it with the way I wanted it to go and
knew it was gonna go, but he still gave us
a great match. I just don't like when they you know,
and we know usually who's gonna win. Typically he kind

(17:01):
of predicted but when they just don't put up a fight,
it just be like, yeah, they're.

Speaker 1 (17:06):
Gonna win anywhere exactly. I agree, And I gotta say
this is one to see him Punk's best performance in
a long time. Oh yeah, yeah, Okay. I was very
glued to the TV. I cannot take my eyes off
off those two because he gave god Through a run
for his money, and I knew that was gonna happen
because that goes to show you how determined he is

(17:26):
to become champion. So he's gonna he's he's gonna bring
the fight. So but I'm just kind of disappointed about
the outcome because of course it was Seth Rollins being
money in the bank, missed the money and the gos
to cash it in. Now, I thought that he was hurt.
You know, they made it seem as if, oh Seth
is hurt. He got hurt a Saturday nice Man event,
and when he came out, it's like I knew something

(17:47):
was up. And then when he dropped them crutches, I
had I already knew that was over. It was over with.

Speaker 2 (17:52):
So it's just like see him Punk got it from
Gunther and then Seth Rollers got it from seeing Punk exactly,
and that was like, that's the quickest take it of
a title I've ever seen.

Speaker 1 (18:03):
I know. Yeah, that was a huge disappointment though, so
I was kind of upset about that, but I kind
of understand why it happened, because of course, you know,
Seth really wants to make Senior Punk's career. They are miserable,
so of course he's gonna do what he gonna he
want to do to him. But that's why I figure
it's either gonna be him or Sammy to win a
rumble because of course, Singing Punk is still hungry right now,

(18:26):
then he ain't gonna stop until he get what he wants.
So that's why I figure. You know, of course Seth
he'll be champions to WrestleMania, and if Seeing Punk happens
to win and that's it, he can he can do it.
Or then again too, they might set up for Sammy
to win a rumble again Seeing Punk wins an elimination
chamber mm hmmm, so they could do something like that.

(18:46):
But either way it goes, Punk is coming after that title.
He not gonna stop until he get it, even if
it takes him for the rest of this year, even
if it takes him going to win Elimination Chamber and
going to the main and finally going to the main event.

Speaker 2 (19:00):
Get it.

Speaker 1 (19:00):
He's gonna do it. And I think that's why they
did it. They figured, let him have this WrestleMania moment
he had, he had a small Summer Slam moment, but
let him have his biggest moment at WrestleMania, and I
think that's what they're gonna do.

Speaker 2 (19:14):
I definitely agree with that. I know, I don't know
any other way that that would go.

Speaker 1 (19:19):
Mm hmm if you agree, yeah, so yeah, we'll see though. Now,
of course, we had talked briefly about the match between
Naomi Ria and EO. Sky, and like, I gotta say,
that was one of the best matches on the match
card of Night two, because of course, Naomi gave those
two awesome women a run for their money. You know,

(19:39):
she gave Ria a run for her money, ill aroun
for her money, and it's like that was a perfect
mix though. It's like you got somebody that's real strong
in the match, which is real Ripley, and then you
got someone that's a high flyer like EO. Sky, and
then you have another you know, high flying wrestler Naomi.
So it's like I think that was a perfect match

(20:01):
and they really and they really did their thing and
they matching they and they just really deserve a round
of applause because, like I said, the women have really
been holding it down for a long time now, and
it's like it's great that I could see them get
their flowers. Because when I first started watching the women
wrestle when I was a kid, I just saw bron
panty matches, lingerie matches. I didn't see what I see today.

(20:23):
So kudos to those women for holding it down, and
then kudos to the women in general holding it down
and wrestling.

Speaker 2 (20:30):
Oh for sure, they really holding it down for real.

Speaker 1 (20:35):
Yeah oh yeah they Yeah. It's like I'd be looking
and in no offense, I'd be looking forward to their
matches versus the male matches, even though I liked some
of the male matches, but it's like something about the
women matches. It's like it's so much more entertaining.

Speaker 2 (20:48):
I feel like because the women started off more so
as beauties, yep, and they were just there was oh
they just look cute and they didn't feel like they
really had talent. And now like as the year's progressed.
I feel like the first one to really show her
talent was China, and even though she was like, they
felt like she was more mainly because she was really built.

(21:11):
She could probably honestly, I felt like she could be
some of men, but because she just was super built.
But I feel like it started off with her, and
like she paved the way for some of these other
you know divas. They're not actually really divas anymore because
they are like true, full fledged wrestlers that's just not pretty.

(21:37):
I feel like she paved the way for them to
actually show their talent and it doesn't matter whether they
look a bit smaller and not as bulky, or if
they look super bulky, it's okay. So I feel like
that's why women like appeal more than me, not just
being a woman, but the fact that I feel like

(21:58):
they put it in hard work too.

Speaker 1 (22:00):
They do because it's like they've proven themselves each and
every day. And I was so happy when they dropped
them divas and put and made them superstars.

Speaker 2 (22:09):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (22:09):
Then they finally had their first pay per view evolution,
which by the way, it was if he was success
this year, and I just hope they could take evolution
every year because I don't I didn't understand why they
launched it that one year and next thing, you know,
sixteen years later, they bring it back. They got to
keep that going. The women works hard for that. Keep
that going exactly yeah, yeah, but the exactly right one

(22:33):
minute you had not keep it going. Keep it going. Now,
when what do you think about that TLC Ladder match?
I got to say that was a great match.

Speaker 2 (22:41):
That was one of the better lot of matches that
I've seen, mm hmm, because you know, I feel like
the last what's the last lot of actually saw at WrestleMania.

Speaker 1 (22:55):
It probably it could have been I may have forgot.

Speaker 2 (22:57):
I think it might have been. Okay, the last one
we've seen and never was cool. But I felt like
this one was better than the last one I saw.
It was it was it was much better because I'm
just like, what is y'all doing? And then this time
I'm like, oh, this is what y'all doing? Mm hm.

(23:18):
So yeah, I feel like that was definitely one of
the better batches.

Speaker 1 (23:22):
Yeah, I agree, And I like the fact that they
gave multiple teams an opportunity. You know, I was pulling
for the street profits to get it though. You know,
even though that they didn't win, I was still proud
of them for what they did, though. It's just, you know,
I don't like the fact that it took them six
years to get them titles back and then and then
I ain't know they was on it. They wasn't on
the pole for eighteen months. I didn't know that until now.

(23:45):
So I'm just glad that they had, you know, that
they participated in their match and they gave it. They all.
But now I'm just curious as to what they're gonna
do as far as their character. Okay, they're gonna stay
baby face, Are they gonna be healed? Are they gonna
split them? What's next? Because I was talking to Cedric
about smack Down a few weeks ago, and then this
was after SummerSlam when uh, I think it was Kathy

(24:08):
Kelly had asked, you know, the street propers how they
felt about the match, and then of course you know,
they were disappointed. But if you noticed at the end, Montez,
it's like he was upset. He didn't say nothing, he
walked away. So I'm thinking that is he gonna turn heel?
I mean, what's the deal with that? And then the
next week on SmackDown. It's like they forget that.

Speaker 2 (24:28):
So yeah, it's like, you know, it's they they a
lot of it's they are huge, they are very.

Speaker 1 (24:33):
Talented tag team. I just want them to get more
opportunities though, and of course the other teams too. They
pretty much cool. Yeah, pretty I mean the tag team
division is pretty impressive right now that they're pretty much
a great team. So yeah, we just have to see.
And now, what did you think about that match between
Becky Lynch a Lyra, which personally that was one of

(24:55):
my favorite matches.

Speaker 2 (24:57):
Yeah, for the I see.

Speaker 1 (25:00):
Title.

Speaker 2 (25:01):
Yeah that was Yeah, that was actually a pretty good match,
true honestly. Yeah, Becky Lynch going over Lyra and that happened,
so I'm happy.

Speaker 1 (25:16):
I am so that and that was That was a
halatious match though. It's like you Davis beating each other.
They tine each other up and stuff like that. That was.
That was one of the best hardcore women's matches I seen,
besides the one we saw with Tiffany and Naya Jacks.
You know, those two matches tied up. But it was
really good though. But I agree, I had a feeling

(25:37):
that Becky was gonna win because and and that's another
thing Cedric brought up a good point. It's like he said, Larra,
no doesn't need that title anymore. She could go after
the big titles. Now, yeah, so it just made sense
for for her to lose, but it was due to Bailey.
And now we got to figure out what's to deal
with Bailey. Okay, It's like she's going through like, uh

(25:57):
an identity crisis moment. It's like she hearing voices in
her head and stuff. It's like she's going back to
the old her and the new her. It's like, what
side is she gonna shoo? Is? What direction are they're
gonna take with her character? And then or Callara turned
be the heel and Bailey and Bailey be the babyface?
What are they gonna do? So that was just some
stuff I paid attention to after the event. You know,

(26:19):
when they just started showing that that document where that
footage of Bailey, it's like she's trying to figure out
what she what she's gonna do. Mm hmmm, yeah, so yeah,
we just gotta see. But other than that, Becky and
Lara they held it down and they was one of
my favorite matches. Now, what do you think about that
match between Solo and Jacob and the cage match. I
didn't like the match personally, so we're on the same

(26:41):
page with that one.

Speaker 2 (26:42):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (26:42):
I just felt like, in my opinion, for those two,
they could have they could have held it down in
the Hell and the Sale match. Mm hmm yeah that yeah,
because I and I had already knew if it was
gonna be a lot of interference too, hands down, It's
like the bloodline or the MtFs what they call. It's like,
I knew that it's gonna interfere, but I thought that
Tomatanga would have made a return, but he didn't, so

(27:05):
it's like, yeah, yeah, I was disappointed that in that
match though. But I gotta say a funny moment in
that match was when jacobot Too told but Jacob told
the rep you could close that door because I'm all
goddamn gas right now, That's what he said, and they
had to beat that out and then they had to
go ahead and continue with the match. But that was

(27:26):
the funniest moment of that match though. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah.
But other than that, yeah, I mean, I pretty much
knew what was gonna happen, you know, so but we'll see,
but I don't I don't think they're done with one another.
They're gonna continue that rivalry though, But I see that
they're gonna be in teens, they teaming up with one another,
and if I'm not mistaken, let me see. No, I

(27:47):
thought they was gonna be wrestling that class h to Paris,
but they're not. So yeah, but I still say that
rivalry will continue though, and I'm hoping that Jacob will
get his title back so at least he could become
a two time US share being. But you know, we
just got the scene. Now, what do you think about
that match between Dominika.

Speaker 2 (28:05):
Aj Oh with Dominica Stereo yep, aj styles, Yeah, oh yeah.

Speaker 1 (28:11):
That was.

Speaker 2 (28:12):
That was for that icy uh title. I mean, it
kind of came out how I figured, but yeah, it was.
It was a good match. It wasn't a disappointment like
the other match that we're talking about, but that was
that was actually pretty decent match. And I like that

(28:33):
Dominicqua Stereo actually won that match because it kind of reinforces,
you know, his place, So I did like that.

Speaker 1 (28:44):
Yep, I agree, And I like the fact that they
paid tribute to Eddie Guerrero too, if you think about it,
how he won that match that he won it the
same way Eddie did at WrestleMania twenty against kurd Angle,
So it was clever. It was clever how he won
that match though it's he untacked that boot, he pulled
it and got that pen. So like they was paying

(29:04):
paying a lot of homage to Eddie Gerrillro though, because
if you can found it, twenty years ago they had
that his dad, raimed Stereo had that Eddie Guerrero had
that infamous match for the custody of him. And then
what a way twenty years later for him to be
in that event wrestling to retain his title. So you know,
that was a big moment there for him, and then

(29:24):
he definitely deserved that win. It's like, I'm going on
the on the on the derby side of down, but
I am Cautionate's he gonna ever turn back baby Face
again soon?

Speaker 2 (29:34):
I don't know, but we're gonna have to see about that.
But you already know how I feel about some me
Eddie Guerrero tribute. That's that's that's my thing.

Speaker 1 (29:42):
But yeah, exactly, yeah, and then I like the low
right of that a came out in oh.

Speaker 2 (29:48):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, and homage to his heritage.

Speaker 1 (29:52):
I mean mm yeah. But like I said, I just
felt like it. I mean, that match is okay, you know,
but of course, with Don being he, you know, he
was gonna of course win it that way. But it's like,
other than that, it was a good match. I liked
that they paid tribute to eg the Latino Heat. Yes, yeah,
and they just think it'd be twenty years coming up,

(30:13):
and it doesn't even feel that way.

Speaker 2 (30:15):
I feel like it's crazy twenty years that's nuts.

Speaker 1 (30:21):
Like, oh yeah, I was in the I was in
the fifth grade when he passed away, and I was
twelve years old.

Speaker 2 (30:27):
So it's like, wow, man, it just makes me show
my age right now.

Speaker 1 (30:31):
Yeah, it's making me Yeah. But yeah, that definitely he
was a legend, hands down. But other than that, it
was a decent match though. But I don't think those
two are done with one another. I think AJ and
Dom they're gonna face each other again, but I think
that they might do it as Survivor series.

Speaker 2 (30:47):
Who knows, hmmm, that'll be something, yeah, yeah, it will be. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (30:52):
So now we want to get into this main event,
which was chanced down. It was one of the best.
It was basically one of the best matches I have
seen all year. And now I'm talking about the match
between Cody Rose and John Cener, hands down excellent match
way back. That was.

Speaker 2 (31:06):
That was Oh my god. First of all, we all
know John seen on his victory tour. Yeah, but I'm
gonna say fifty five million of the time until he
actually retired, retire, that was. It was good because it's like, yeah,
he's on his victory tour, don't get me wrong, but

(31:28):
the fact that Cody Rhodes actually defeating him just kind
of it's I felt like that's how it should go
because it's like, Okay, he's on his way out. He
knows he's on his way out. Everybody knows he's on
his way out. But the fact that he had Cody
get that championship and kind of keep on the legacy

(31:53):
of that championship, that was dope. I'm not gonna that
was dope.

Speaker 1 (31:58):
Yeah, I agree, I agree that pretty much. That was.
Like I said, that was a great match that I
that I haven't seen in a long time. And then
what a performance by John Cena because you think about it,
John is almost fifty years old and the way that
he went against Cody that's in his late thirties. That says,
you know, that was a good match. It just tells
you you that age don't mean nothing. It's all about
how you care for yourself. And I just felt like

(32:20):
I was watching two thousand and six, two thousand and ten,
John Cena going against Cody Rose. That's what I That's
what it felt like. And then I love the sportsmanship
that they showed at the end. You know, John, of
course he's now the baby face, he's no longer the
bad gap. So I just liked it how they ended
that storyline, you know, of course with John being the
good gap passing the torch to Cody. He didn't do

(32:42):
that mania, but he did it at Summer Slam, which
is the second biggest event ever. So yeah, it was
a good match though, And I could watch that match
over and over again and then I still feel that
same impact. You know, that's how great that match was.
But it was cool though. But what did you think
about the return of brock Lessener that right there, that
was out of nowhere expect.

Speaker 2 (33:05):
Yeah, uh, this is like I said that that right
the like the fact that Cody Rose won against John
Cena awesome. But the crazy part was that brock lesnar
like attacked him after.

Speaker 1 (33:21):
The bat Yeah. Yeah, that man, that was a crazy.

Speaker 2 (33:26):
F five he gave him that. I'm like, what just happened?
I expected that?

Speaker 1 (33:33):
Nah, But but you know that going to show you
that brock won't he wants another match with Sena before
he's out the door. So he kind of where the
producer what direction they're trying to take. You know, it
makes sense to let him go against all of the
greatest before he's walking out the door.

Speaker 2 (33:51):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (33:52):
Yeah, Now, which leads which which leads to my next question.
Who do you say his final opponent may be. It's
like he ain't he already announced that Saturday Nights Man
have been in December. That's it for him. After that?

Speaker 2 (34:05):
Oh, I don't know, Like I'm trying to see who
would they put him up against.

Speaker 1 (34:12):
I mean, you think that he don't win against Cody,
he has gone against Roman.

Speaker 2 (34:16):
In the past.

Speaker 1 (34:18):
Well, I predict it might be the Rock I think because.

Speaker 2 (34:21):
That's the only other person that I can think about
that they might put him up against, and because they
both pretty much came up together mm hmm, like in
the same era.

Speaker 1 (34:32):
Yep, because if you if you think about it would
make sense if you think about it, The Rock started
that whole he O John Cena thing. Now it's like,
does does he finish the story? Now you know Cody
Done already got the title. Now it's like, why not
the Rock? He's steal in shape. You know, we saw
how Will he wrestled last year. I would think it'd

(34:54):
be The Rock. But another thing that made sense, and
it made a lot of sense from what Cedric said
last week. He said that they could probably do a
gauntlet match. Oh yep, just have different so he beat
different superstars, have other superstars go against him, and then
of course, if the Rock happens to be his last opponent,
make the Rock come out last to rustle him. And

(35:15):
I think that would be a great way to close
out seeing this, you know, farewell tours.

Speaker 2 (35:20):
And would oh man, that'd be amazing. Yeah, but it's
just crazy, but I would like probably literally cry.

Speaker 1 (35:28):
I know, yeah, because if you think Bastina, I've been
I've been watching him wrestled since I was ten years old,
So I mean it's a lot of history with this
guy here. It's like he pretty much succeeded the rock
when the Rockers said he wanted to do Hollywood and
he wanted to, you know, step away from wrestling, like
seeing Endeavors. Yes, correct, seeing it pretty much was had
succeeded him.

Speaker 2 (35:49):
He was holding it down.

Speaker 1 (35:51):
Mm hmm yeah, yeah, yeah, he definitely was though. So
it is going to be difficult to see him leave.
But it's for the best though, because I mean, one
thing about that sport, it's like it'll tire you down.

Speaker 2 (36:03):
It definitely will mm hm.

Speaker 1 (36:05):
So yes, and then it could be wear and telling
the body. So for him to finally go out and
then still get his flowers, it's all good. But this
is the time now to start collecting his merch. Yes,
once he retires, that march is gonna go gonna price wise,
it's gonna be through the rules. So this might be
the time to get his gear. And I was gonna
ask you too. Now, since he's the Babby face, do

(36:27):
you think he may have one more heel run in him?

Speaker 2 (36:30):
Mmm mmm, I'm saying yeah, I'll say I think he
has one more hell run now. I'm saying that because
I feel like it makes more sense to do one
more here one before.

Speaker 1 (36:44):
You know, Okay, Now, who do you now, who do
you think he might do the he'll turn on he
done did it on Cody already? I mean who else
can he give a heel time to?

Speaker 2 (36:54):
Not now you're making me think, Yeah, it's like who
could he really?

Speaker 1 (37:00):
I mean who who else could he pass the torch to?

Speaker 2 (37:04):
That is a point because it's like kind of Cody is?
I feel like Cody may be it, but who who else?
I'm trying to feel like, who else is love?

Speaker 1 (37:16):
I think I think Jay Ulso would be a perfect one.

Speaker 2 (37:20):
Mm hmmm.

Speaker 1 (37:21):
Because if you remember, I mean j Uso and John
Cena they had they had a confrontation backstage. This is
when Sena was the champion and Jay was the champion
at the time. I think they might have unfinished business,
unfinished business to handle. So it could be him, because
you think about it, Jay is everybody like him. He's
the ultimate babyface. So it see seeing a possibly turning

(37:42):
he along him mm hmm. And you know, when we're
making more tense, if it's Dad Rakesh, she came back. Man,
if they that that would be cool. It's like and
they got their little beef or whatever. And then Rakesha
the Sassin team up with his something with Ja that'll
be cool. Yeah, so something like that that. I mean,

(38:03):
if he do turn here, I can see him turning
heel on Drado if you think about I mean, everybody
like him. Though, Now do you say he might become
Now do you think he may become an eighteen time champion?

Speaker 2 (38:13):
I feel like if that happens, I'm gonna just lay
on the floor. Okay, Oh, but it's a possibility. I'm
not saying that I feel like it's gonna happen, but
it's a possibility that it could, and that'll that'll break
every bunch of break every record they got so far.

Speaker 1 (38:34):
Yeah, because I mean because I mean that was another
thing that Cedric said for the predictions to something, saying
it's like he lose it to Cody and then he
could be eighteen tame champion walking out the door. So
I could see that happening. But it's like what direction
I gonna are they gonna take? I mean, it's like
we done seeing Cody and and seen it. Added now

(38:54):
I think he may come in after come after the
world title. Mm hmmm, yeah, yeah, he could he possibly
do that, but yeah, because him is self roleised, I
think they have a great match though. But see here's
the thing with that, and I just thought about it.
Seth just became the world champion, so I don't think
they're gonna have him drop it like that. So my
honest opinion, it might be it. I think seventeen might

(39:16):
be his max though, but it would be cool to
see eighteen that.

Speaker 2 (39:19):
That would be dope to c eighteen.

Speaker 1 (39:21):
Yeah yeah, but I think I think seventeen is it
for now. I mean, and he did break the record though,
I mean he surpassed Ric Flair.

Speaker 2 (39:29):
And that's hard because you know, nature boy, he had uh.

Speaker 1 (39:34):
He was he he had a run run so yeah
he did, he did. And his daughter had the same
run too. She's like a fourteen time champion so she
so she's continuing that legacy too. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So
now with the Class of Parents, with Class of Paris,
it's this Saturday that's gonna be streaming on the Peacock app.

(39:55):
Now do you think that's going to be a successful
event or do you say that might be an upset?

Speaker 2 (40:02):
I'm I'm hoping it's a successful event, okay, because I
feel like all the other ones this year have been
pretty successful.

Speaker 1 (40:11):
M hm.

Speaker 2 (40:12):
So I just hope they can keep the run going
before for this upcoming event and just build on a
success that Summer Slam just left.

Speaker 1 (40:24):
Mm hmm.

Speaker 2 (40:26):
Now if it's upset, oh well, it wouldn't be the
first time, it ain't gonna be the last. But I'm
just hoping that they could just build upon that and
keep building upon that until Wrestle Media comes. Yeah. True,
Like I feel like we should be in suspense until
restmedia comes. That's just how I feel.

Speaker 1 (40:45):
Yeah, I agree, though, I mean because if you think
about it's only five matches on the match card, so
it's like I'm hoping it is a success. Though. You know,
you got the return of Nikki Bella. She's gonna be
getting in the ring against Becky Lanch for the Women's
i C Championship. So that's one match I'm into, rested
in seeing. Oh I'm looking forward to seeing. And then
of course you have seth Rollis he's going to be

(41:08):
defending the title, which of course he's going to retain.
You know, he's going to get seeing Punk ja Usa
in La Knight, you know, so that should be a
good match. And of course you got seen and Logan
Paul Wrestling so it's like it's a decent match card though,
but I'm really looking forward to Nicki Butler coming back
in the ring to face Becky Lynch and then what
would you and then what match would you said you're

(41:29):
looking forward to.

Speaker 2 (41:30):
I don't know if there's a particular match that I'm
looking forward to, uh huh, out of the five matches
on this card, I just I don't know. I have
to kind of go over the matches again to see,
but there's no particular match in my head as at
right now that I'm looking forward to.

Speaker 1 (41:51):
Yeah. Well, well, I mean I think this is another
good match that that they have the Shamous versus Roosts
up and they got a good old fashioned Danny brook
Mann or Donnybrook match.

Speaker 2 (42:02):
Oh now, I was reading up on a Donny Brook match,
so that that did grab my attention, Like match did
grab my attention. So that's probably the one that I say,
since in grab my attention, I'm looking forward to that one.

Speaker 1 (42:17):
Oh yeah, I mean it's pretty much no disqualifications. They
could lead, they can use large wood barrels, they can
use le LEAs, and they can use Irish brandy. So yeah,
it's pretty much gonna be a good match though, because
I like this new root Self character. He's more intimidating now,
and I just think, you know, they should continue with
his character. And I like the fact that he's beefing

(42:38):
with Shamus. You think about Shamus is almost out of
the door, so why not challenge Shamus even more?

Speaker 2 (42:45):
So?

Speaker 1 (42:45):
I think that's gonna be a good match. Yeah, and
then of course they got rum and Rings and versus
Bronson Reid. So I figured that's going to be a
good match. But you just never know if Paul Hayman
being that ring side, ain't no telling, that's true. Yep.
So now we're gonna play the game, play a game
called Guess the Finisher where I'm gonna name some finishing

(43:07):
moves and then you just tell me which wrestler that
move belongs to. Okay, so we got the Haluva kid. Huh.

Speaker 3 (43:19):
Now you're just making me think again, Oh my gosh.
And and of course my little one wants to be
in on the action.

Speaker 1 (43:32):
Oh wow. Well we were just talking about him earlier.

Speaker 2 (43:41):
You now what I am gonna concede. I'm gonna concede. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (43:48):
Well, he went to gets carry across at SummerSlam, oh yeah.

Speaker 2 (43:55):
I was like, wait, I know what that is?

Speaker 1 (43:57):
Halluva Kit. Yeah yeah.

Speaker 2 (43:59):
I was like, well, I shouldn't know who that is
since he.

Speaker 1 (44:02):
Was we were talking about him for a good good
amount of time.

Speaker 2 (44:06):
So yeah, Sammy say, uh huh, So what about the
stump the oh Jesus and I'm usually good at these.
This seems so simple.

Speaker 1 (44:18):
Mm hmm. Well, I'm gonna give you a hand. He's
the world heavyweight champion. Ye uh huh. What about Jaded.

Speaker 2 (44:30):
Jake?

Speaker 1 (44:31):
Yep, Jake car your uh huh? Now what about the
prettiest Moon Salt?

Speaker 2 (44:40):
The fact that the Davin had the moons? Mum kay
now I know dang.

Speaker 1 (44:58):
Yeah, I'm gonna give you a hand. She is the
U back down women's world champion, I mean women's champion
and yeah, and she just had a match with j
car Gill at the summer sound.

Speaker 2 (45:14):
I wonder why I think it's so hard.

Speaker 1 (45:16):
She always is Yep, there you got Ti.

Speaker 2 (45:21):
I was like, it's so hard.

Speaker 1 (45:23):
Prettiest Moonstal Yeah, Now what about the Kiss of Death?

Speaker 2 (45:31):
I'm like, what's.

Speaker 1 (45:34):
And and that's shortening it to kod.

Speaker 2 (45:38):
Oh my girl, Bianca all yeah.

Speaker 1 (45:41):
Huh yeah, what about the twist of faith.

Speaker 2 (45:45):
Mhm, Now you and you really had me thinking.

Speaker 1 (45:53):
Yeah, let's say they are pretty much tag team legends.

Speaker 2 (45:58):
Oh how are you boys, chef hard yep?

Speaker 1 (46:00):
Uh high yup? What about the figure four leg lock?

Speaker 2 (46:06):
And it's two people, My little one's over here, very
tab This is so funny.

Speaker 1 (46:15):
Uh yeah, we had just talked about him briefly before,
uh before we played, before we got into the game. Yep.
So he's a sixteen time world champion and his daughter's
supports teen time world I mean women's world champion. Oh boy, yep,

(46:40):
uh huh. And it's one more person, it's his daughter, yep,
his daughter.

Speaker 2 (46:56):
Oh well so it's both of them.

Speaker 1 (46:57):
Yeah, so you got Rick and his daughter uses the fools,
his daughter.

Speaker 2 (47:03):
Look, this is my afterwork brain.

Speaker 1 (47:09):
Yeah that's Charlotte Flair Sarler Flair.

Speaker 2 (47:11):
It was like I was like, if my afterwork brain,
I should not be thinking this.

Speaker 1 (47:14):
Hard try Yeah, what about the tombstone pile driver?

Speaker 2 (47:22):
Now I see, and you're going back and forth between
current and paste.

Speaker 1 (47:27):
Now that should be not tombstone. I mean who was
into like the cemetery and yeah, there you go. Uh huh. Now,
now you should be able to get this one. It's
on the side of his pants too. The phenomenal for
a arm he just rustled at Summer Slam and he's

(47:48):
still going out the dominated and give Yeah, there you go.
Uh huh. Now the last one, the choke slam, and
it's two people that used it that I know for
sure use this move growing up.

Speaker 2 (48:07):
Okay, because because you said too uh huh chokeslam, so
Undertaker used it.

Speaker 1 (48:13):
Okay, Okay, now I can include that. I accept that, okay,
and the and the rock to use it similar he
had like the rock bottom boy mm hmm. But okay,
who else.

Speaker 2 (48:29):
Who else used it? Let's see here me go overthink
