(01:12):

the support and it means the world to me. So
today's episode's part four of If They Didn't Leave So Soon,
which is a mini series where I discussed WWE Legends
slash Hall of famers who've passed away very young, during
their careers or toward the end of their careers. And

(01:33):
I'm basically predicting where they probably would have been in
their careers. So I hope you all checked out Part
one to three of this mini series before tuning and
in that's available on all streaming platforms. And I hope
you all checked out the last episode which was tied
of Women Talk Wrestling that featured TK from Women's Wrestling
Talk that's available on all streaming platforms, which was, by

(01:56):
the way, a very amazing episode discussing our thoughts about
about this year's Mania and many more. So anyway, I'm
going to be discussed in five Legends slash Hall of
Famous in this episode, so please sit back, relax, and
joy and let's get into it. So the first WWE

(02:16):
legend I'm going to talk about is Tess, whose real
name was Andrew James Robert Patrick Martin, who was born
on March seventeenth, nineteen seventy five and whitby Ontarioo Canada,
and he passed away on March thirteen, two thousand and nine,
in Tampa, Florida, at the age of thirty three, just
only four days before his thirty fourth birthday, which is

(02:40):
very sad and heartbreaking, and it's just a reminder that
we cannot take anything for granted, because you just never know.
And it was also confirmed that he had CTE, which
stands for chronic traumatic elipthopy, which is a brain disease
that's caused by repeated head injuries like concussions. So I'm

(03:00):
sure we y'all remember Tests during the Attitude era, which was,
by the way, one of the best eras of all
time of my generation, which included some of the greatest
legends slash Hall of Famous of all time like The Undertaker,
The Big Show, The Rock Stone Cold, Triple h dx Kine, Tristratus, Leader,

(03:22):
and many more. But Test was also but Tessa was
definitely part of that era and he definitely had to
look the strength, the charisma and the potential to succeed
in the business, and even brad Hart saw his ability
and decided to train him along with Leo Burke and
Dorry Funk Junior back in the mid nineties, and he

(03:42):
began his career in ninety seven Wrestling and the Indies
in Canada wrestling under the ring names as Martin Kane
and TJ. Thunder, and on October twenty fifth, nineteen ninety eight,
he made his debut in the WWF at the time
on Sunday Night he as a bodyguard. Then in December

(04:02):
of that year he worked with The Rock and the
following week he made his n ring debut, teaming up
with Film as Well to go against Triple Aasha x
POC where Tests in the Rock won by DQ and
then he later joined the Corporation and that was how
he got his ring name Tests because he did Mike
checks saying Tests Tests. Then he competed in the nineteen

(04:26):
ninety nine Royal Rumbum where he got eliminated by Stone Cold,
and then he went on to wrestle Many of fifteen,
teaming up with d Lo Brown to face Jeff Jarrett
and Owen Hart for the tag team titles, and then
he later joined the Union, and then he got involved
in the storyline with Stephanie MacMahon, which was a decent storyline,

(04:47):
but I think it would have been better if the
directors decided to go with the original plan DEVI was
supposed to happen, and I will discuss that in a
few what was really supposed to happen. And then he
would challenge Sean macmann as some i'm Aslam, where he
defeated Shane to earn his blessings to be with Stephanie
and then he eventually proposed to her and they would

(05:07):
have a wedding on Raw, but it was interrupted by
Triple H, and that's when Triple H revealed that he
married Stephanie and that she would later and then she
would later turn her back on Test to be with
Triple H starting to make Man Slash Himsley era, and
then he would He would win the Hardcore title on
Raw in two thousand, defeating the Big Boss Man and

(05:30):
then he would turn heel and start a stable with
albert A ka a Train with Trish and their manager
as their manager, and they were known as TNA, so
they so they were a pretty decent stable because they
went to russell Mania two thousand to challenge and defeat
Al Snow and Steve Blackman, and they defeated the Dudleys

(05:52):
later on that month that Backlash and TNA did challenge
for the tag team titles but were defeated by Edge
and Chrish and the Four Corners Elimination Match. Then, alongside Trish,
they went against the Hardys with Felita in the three
on three tag team match. Then they competed in Survivor
Series later that year in the three on three tag

(06:13):
team match where they lost to Steve Blackman, Crash, Hollie
and Molly Holly. Then Albert would later turn on him
and that were in the that were in the stable
of TNA, and that was when Tests became a babyface.
Then the following year, he defeated William Regal to defend
the European to win the European title, and then he

(06:35):
would win the Hardcore title again by beating Rhino. After
losing the European title to Eddie Guerrero, and he also
joined the Alliance, eventually forming the tag team with Booker Team,
where they would win the w CW Tag Team titles
and the WWF Tag Team titles. And he also became

(06:57):
the IC Champion by defeating Edge on an episode of Raw.
And he also competed in the two thousand and two
King of the Ring, but he was eliminated by brock
Lesnar and he would later form a team with Landstorm
and Christian known as the un Americans. Then Stacy Keebler
would become his manager and he would eventually form a

(07:18):
team with Scott Steiner, and then he would once again
become a hell due to him the streeting Stacy in
that storyline, and then he would start a small rivalry
with Steiner, with Steiner defeated him at Insurrection and Bad Blood,
and Tests would defeed him in the episode of Raw,
winning the managerial of Stacey and they would have a

(07:40):
rematching unforgiven what Tests beat him again. Then they would
become a tag team again where they both mistreated Stacy
in the storyline, and he was supposed to enter the
two thousand and four Royal Rumble but was attacked and
replaced by Mick Foley, and he later competed in various
house shows until he reaggravated a neck injury that kept

(08:02):
him out of action for a few months, so he
eventually had spinning effusion surgery that year in July, and
later that year in November, he was released by the WWE,
and after his release, he wrestled in the ndies for
about a year, and then he was re hired by

(08:23):
the company in two thousand and six, but he just
wrestled on the ECW brand, making his debut on the
fourth of July defeating Al Snow, and he worked with
Mike Knox The Big Show and matsh Striker seffilled with RBD,
The Samman, and Sabu who was known as the ECW Originals,
and he did have some success on ECW. He did

(08:46):
team up with Knox and they defeated Tommy Dreamer and
The Samman in an extreme rules match with Test Penn
and Dreamer, and he also defeated RBD in an Extreme
rules match. He did participate at Survivor Series that same
year in the five on five elimination tag match, and

(09:06):
he did enter an elimination Chamber match at December to
this member for the ECW Championship, and he also went
against Bobby Lashley a few times for the title. And
he eventually left the company on his own terms, and
he made his official debut on TNA in seven in
August of seven, where he once again had success and

(09:28):
he just sat in two thousand and eight, he had
wanted to retire from wrestling, but he did have two
more matches in Japan of two thousand and nine. Yeah,
but overall he did have a very successful wrestling career.
But I just wish that the WWE would have given
him a bigger push to become the World Heavyweight Champion.

(09:48):
Because he definitely was worthy of it, and he had
already won a European and an IC title, So I
just feel like that was enough already for him to
earn a shot. But now I want to talk talk
a little bit more about that storyline than he had
with Stephanie back in the day. So I learned that
Test was supposed to be the one to stand her

(10:08):
up at the altar on the night of their wedding
on raw, making him a heal, but the plans was
later changed when Triple H was the one to crash
the wedding by admitting he married Stephanie in Vegas, adding
an unexpected twist to the storyline. But she would eventually
turn on him. But you know, in my opinion, I
think that the wwe should have went with the original

(10:31):
plan to the storyline because I think that would have
been his big breakthrough and his big push in the company,
because it would have proved his ability to be a
good heel and the world champion, because he did eventually
become hell, So it's not like he couldn't do it,
and they could have had it to where Triple H
was the baby face and the angle, and of course

(10:53):
Tests would have been the heel, causing them to have
and interrest the rivalry with one another leading all the
way into you know, I think that would have been
cool to see. So I just felt like the business
didn't didn't do right by the direction of his character
and him eventually becoming a champion, because I think he
would have been a great champion. But fast forward when

(11:14):
he returned to the business back of six under the
ECW brand, again, his character didn't go in a proper
direction because he didn't capture the ECW Championship and he
had four opportunities to win the title, but in some
reason he was unable to do it, and I don't
think it was the right I don't think it was
right to do him like that when he never even

(11:36):
won a major title. So I think, in my opinion,
he should have won the title after the fourth attempt,
because it just don't make sense losing back to back
like that, because I'm sure it became a huge disappointment
to some of the fans, and that probably explains his
final release from the company. And it's like, you can't
blame him because you know, I probably would have done

(11:57):
the same thing too if my character was being pushed
in the right direction, and I wasn't able to win
the title. But I do predict if he didn't pass
away in O nine, he would have been completely retired
from wrestling and he would have been fifty years old
this year. But according to his last interview he did
back in O eight to O nine, I think by

(12:18):
now he just would have focused more on his personal
life by spending more time with his family since he
was on the road a lot doing his wrestling career,
and he was also very laid back to himself, so
he probably would be just He probably just would have
been living a normal life because that's what he wanted
since he was a wrestler for over ten years at

(12:38):
the time, so obviously he would have wanted his privacy,
and he also was trying to wing away from wrestling
to focus on other things that were important to him,
and he just didn't want that attention on him anymore.
So he definitely would just be living a normal, chill
life by now. And now do I think he would
have mentor and given a vice to future superstars? And

(13:01):
my prediction is yes, because one thing about Tess is
he spoke his mind and he didn't sugarcoat anything, so
I think he would have been great with giving advice
on how a future superstar should conduct themselves as a wrestler.
And he also was an actor, so I think by
now he probably would have acted in a few more movies,

(13:22):
mostly action packed, because the last movies he played in
was Grindhouse and Medium Raw Night of Raw with Chad
Action in them. And I think he would have also
made special appearances on various wrestling podcasts talking about his
experienced wrestling with the WWE and wrestling in the Indies,
and he probably would have appeared on an episode of

(13:45):
Mavin Hoffmann's YouTube channel also talking about his time in
the business since they were both since they were both
in the business at the same time and they were
very cool with one another. And Maven also did a
special tribut episode about him, and I will leave that
info in the description box because it was definitely a

(14:05):
great episode. And also Renea Prix and Stevie Richards did
an episode about him as well on their platforms, and
I will also leave that info in the box as well.
Now do I believe he would have made it to
the Hall of Fame by now, even though I feel
like he was deserving of it because he was dedicated
to the business and he was a good performer in

(14:26):
the ring. And the answer is yes. If the company
didn't terminate him back in two thousand and four, you know,
I think he would have been in the Hall of
Fame by now. But I do hope regardless of how
things ended with him in the company, he deserves he
still deserves a place in the Hall of Fame because
he did put his body on the line to entertain us,

(14:47):
just like the other superstars, slash Legends, slash Hall of
famers we all admired, So that's something to look at
and know. He didn't become World Heavyweight Champion, but he
still held but he still held some gold in his
time with the company, like the IC title, the Hardcore title,
and etc. So he definitely had some accomplishments. And I

(15:09):
do understand he was in a relationship with Kelly Kelly,
who was also a pro wrestler before he passed, and
I do say by now they probably would have been
married to each other because I could tell that they
really cared for each other from watching interviews, and he
was also very protective of her, which was a plus
because according to Kelly Kelly in the interview, you know,

(15:30):
I could tell from watching it she enjoyed being with him.
They appeared to be genuinely happy with one another, and
it seems like they connected well with each other, and
I think he had future plans to spend the rest
of his life with her. So overall, he did have
a very successful wrestling career. He accomplished a lot. I
wish he would have been pushed a little bit more

(15:51):
to capture the world title since he had a lot
of potential to succeed. He traveled the world, and I
could tell in his last interview that he was really
trying to just live its life to the fullest and
just enjoy life. But he was definitely a great wrestler.
And hopefully the WWE can't add him into the Hall
of Fame someday so he could finally receive his flowers

(16:13):
that he deserves. So rest in peace to Andrew Tess Martin. So,
the next legend slash Hall of Famer I would like
to discuss is Shina, whose real name was Jean Marie Lauerer,
who was born on December twenty seventh, nineteen sixty nine,
in Rochester, New York. And she passed away on April seventeenth,

(16:34):
twenty and sixteen, in Ridondo Beach, California, at the age
of forty six years old. So one thing I could
say about China is she is definitely one of the
pioneers slash shreil blazers of women's wrestling. She definitely paved
the way for the women's division and why women's wrestling
is what it is today. You know, if it wasn't

(16:55):
for her, we definitely wouldn't have a Jazz Beth Phoenix,
Natalia Nya Jacks, j Cargio, Bianca Belair, Ria Ripley, Raquel
Rodriguez and many more if it wasn't for China. And
also the women would not have an all women's pay
per views titled Evolution if it was for her as well.

(17:15):
And she's the knife Wonder of the world for many reasons.
I mean, you think about it. She was the first,
the only woman to be part of the one to
be part of one of the best stables in WWE history,
which we know as D Generation X. She was the
first woman to enter the men's Royal Rumble, and what
made that moment so historic and unique was it was

(17:37):
unexpected because I don't think nobody thought at the time
a female would answer a man's royal rumble, and she
had so much confidence walking to that ring, and yet
she did eliminate someone before she got eliminated, but at
least she made history. And she also was the first
woman to answer the King of the Ring tournament and
also become the number one contender for the WWF title.

(18:00):
And she was also the first woman to hold the
IC title, but not once but twice and again, if
it wasn't for her, there would not be a women's
IC title. So again, she definitely paved the way and
she opened up doors for many women that's in the
division today and to have and then for the women
to have an ic IC title. And she also wrestled

(18:24):
male wrestlers like Triple H Kurd Angle, Chris Shiriko, and
Jeff Jarrett. And she got her start training at Killer
Kewaski's Pro Wrestling School in Malden, Massachusetts, and she had
her first match in ninety five and she made her
a WWF debut on February sixteenth, nineteen ninety seven at

(18:46):
the End of Your House thirteen Final four pay per view,
and then she would join DX as their bodyguard, and
she would be involved in the storyline with the Hall
of Famer Mark Henry and she did defeat the British
Bulldog on the episode of Raw, and then she would
go on to defeat Jeff Jarrett for the IC title
with No Mercy. Then she would have a feud with

(19:07):
Jericho for the title, defeating him at Survivor Series, and
she would later drop the title to him at Armageddon,
and then they would have another rematch with the Royal
Rumble with her Kowal Holly being part of the match,
making it a triple threat match where Jericho retained the title,
and then she would be involved in that infamous storyline
she had with the late Great Eddie Guerreuro, which in

(19:29):
my opinion, was one of her best storylines in her
career because it's like it brought out that fun side
of her and also the romantic side of her too,
because we were so used to seeing the tough, horror
core side of her, but to finally see her loosen
up and just have fun at the same time was
so cool to see because it was rare that we
saw that. And then she would starting feud with Ivory,

(19:52):
which China defeated her at Wrestle Many At seventeen for
the Women's Championship, and she had only one side of
defense against Alda at Judgment Day of that year, and
then she will letter vacate the title and she will
also leave the company later that year. So in two
thousand and two, she would go over to New Japan
Pro Wrestling for a short period of time, and then

(20:13):
in twenty and eleven, she would make her debut on
TNA as Kurt Angle's business associate and they will team
up to face Chef Jarrett and Karen Jaredt in a
mixed tag team match at Sacrifice, where China and Kurk
got the win, making that match China's last wrestling match.
So overall, China had a very great, successful wrestling career.

(20:36):
She definitely accomplished. She definitely accomplished a lot in the
company during her time with the WWF, and she broke
so many barriers for women in wrestling, you know, especially
for the women that we see today. And she's also
one of the reasons why women not now call superstars
instead of divas. But if she didn't pass away in

(20:56):
twenty and sixteen, she would have been fifty five years
old going on fifty six, and I do predict she
would have continued living a private life like she was
doing prior to her passing, and she probably would have
went back to teaching since she had a degree in
Spanish literature and she also taught English in Japan, so
I think she would have eventually went back to teaching

(21:19):
for a little bit. And I also believe she would
have made guest appearances on various wrestling podcasts talking about
her time in the company, wrestling Overseas and etc. And
I also believe she would have spent more time with
her family. And she also got inducted into the Hall
of Fame class at twenty nineteen from being a member
of DX, and her award was accepted by her mother, Janet.

(21:43):
So overall, I'm content with her getting inducted into the
Hall of Fame as being a member of as being
a member in the Stable, but I just wish she
would have received that acknowledgment while she was still here
so she would have seen just how I appreciated she
was for her contributions to the WS. And I also
wish she would have gotten her flowers from being the

(22:04):
Solos competitor, because she's definitely deserving of going in as
a solo performer, and I'm sure she would have gotten
a huge standing ovation from her fans and peers, and
I'm sure that would have made her feel very appreciated
and very special, and I'm sure her speech would have
been very powerful and motivational and probably emotional because she

(22:25):
did overcome a lot in her life. And I do
believe the night of WrestleMania after the Hall of Fame,
I think she would have been backstage just given the
best advice to the women on how to conduct themselves
in the business and how to stand out to bring
their character to life. But I do hope in the
near future she will go into the Hall of Fame
as a solo superstar because it is overdue and she

(22:48):
definitely deserves her flowers. And according to an interview that
I watched that she did back in twenty fifteen, when
the interviewer talks to her about going into the Hall
of Fame, I could tell that she really wanted to
go and get that acknowledgment, and she did seem very
optimistic about it. You know, it was just unfortunate that
that moment didn't take place right away, but I'm just

(23:11):
hoping she goes in soon. And I think Ivory would
be the perfect person to adduct her since since they
had some history with one another, and she's a Hall
of Famer herself, so she knows what it's like to
be acknowledged, and I think she would share some great
moments about China that we probably didn't know about her.
And I'm sure she would talk about that Wrestle Andia

(23:32):
seventeen as they had with each other as well. So
you know, those are pretty much my predictions as to
where China would have been in her life post wrestling
and acting career, but she definitely would not be forgotten,
especially in the WWE, and anytime I think about the
Women's Revolution, I know I would think of her and
her legacy will always come to mind. So rest in

(23:55):
peace to the knife Wonder of the World, China. So
the next WWE legend I'm going to discuss is Ashley
Mazarro whose full name was Ashley Marie Mazarro and she
was born on May twenty sixth, nineteen seventy nine and
baby Line, New York, and she passed away on May sixteenth,

(24:16):
twenty nineteen at the age of thirty nine, just ten
days before her fortieth birthday, which is very sad, So
I definitely remember her like it was yesterday. I remember
watching Monday Night Raw in the year of two thousand
and five, and they was talking about the WWE Raw
Divasearch contest where whoever wins will receive a WWE contract

(24:38):
for one year and they would win a two hundred
and fifty thousand dollar check. So when I first saw Ashley,
she definitely stood out from the rest of the other women.
You know, she had a lot of confidence, she was fierce,
and I could tell she was ready to do big
things on the main roster. And I also liked to astown,
you know, I really liked that schoolgirl tom boy look

(25:00):
that she rocked with the checkered skirt and wearing her
hat backwards. You know, that was a dope look for her,
so of course she would She did win the contest
and she was a water that contract along with two
hundred and fifty thousand dollars, So she definitely broke the
bank back of five and she also definitely paved the
way for the Women's rip for women's wrestling as well.

(25:23):
And she's also the reason why evolution exists because she
came into the business where they were called divas and
not superstars, and where they had Brian Penny matchss, lingerie matches,
pillow fight matches, and bikini contests, and where they only
had one title for the women, which was the Women's Championship,
and I don't think the Divas Championship existed at that time.

(25:46):
She came into the business so basically, so she basically
went through an era where the women were basically sex symbols,
and she had to work hard to receive better opportunities
to prove that she can wrestle in the ring instead
of only being looked at as a diva that just
won the contest. So she definitely had a lot of
proven to do to show how worthy she was in

(26:08):
the company. And she was definitely a great performer in
the ring. And now you see what women's wrestling is today.
So a week after she won the contest, she was
immediately involved in the storyline with Victoria and Tory Wilson
and her and Sure Stratge formed the team together and
they had matches against Tory, Victoria and Candye Michelle, and

(26:31):
she also had a field with Mickey James, and she
would go on to smack Down and team up with
Jillian Hall to defeat Michelle McCool and Crystal Marshall. And
she also teamed up with Paul London and Brian Kintrick
to have a match between the Idol between Idol Stevens,
Casey James and Michelle McCool whatever victorious, and she started

(26:56):
a companying Paul and Brian to the ring, and she
will also lay the team up with Layla to defeat
Jillian holland Crystal, and she will also have a field
with Jillian and Melina and will go on to challenge
Molina for the Women's title at wrestle Mania twenty three.
While Melina will retain the title, she would and she

(27:16):
would win a lingerie pillow fight against Maria, Jillian, Melina,
and Micky James, and she would be involved in the
storyline with Maria and Santino Marella and she would go
on to Wrestle Mannia twenty four to team up with
Maria to challenge Beth Phoenix and Melina, but both Beth
and Molina will win the match, and her final match

(27:37):
in the company was a six on six tag team
match where she would team up with Michelle McCool, Cherry Kelly, Kelly,
Maria and Micky James where they defeated Layla, Molina, Beth, Natalia,
Jillian and Victoria. Then she left the company in July
two thousand and eight. So and then she would later

(27:58):
go on to the ND scene in two thousand and
seven by managing Jillian Hall. Then she would go on
to make appearances on different TV shows like Survivor, Extreme Makeover,
Home Edition, small Ville, Dessauce, and she also made appearances
on music videos like Timberland, Stole It On Me and
Reugh Theories. Hell Yeah. Then she became a radio DJ

(28:22):
in Long and Long Island, New York and the station
was called WWSK FM ninety four point three. So off
a roll, she had a very successful wrestling, wrestling and
entertainment career. You know, she definitely accomplished a lot, and
I'm sure she inspired most of the women that's currently
on the main roster, and she's definitely one of my

(28:43):
favorite female wrestlers during the mid two thousands. But if
she was still here with us, she would have been
forty six years old, and I do predict she would
have probably been DJing at the radio station she was
working at at the time of her passing, because it
appears she enjoyed it. And I also believe she would
have started her own podcasts, and I think it would

(29:04):
have been mostly about entertainment, and I'm sure she would
have included special guest on there. And I also believe
she would have probably made more appearances on various TV shows,
and I think she would have made appearances on various
wrestling podcasts talking about how she wanted two thousand and
five divasearch contests, you know, her time with the company,

(29:25):
and many more. And I think she would have spent
more time with her family because she was a mother,
so I'm sure she would have continued to spend more
time with her daughter. So she basically would have been
living a chill life by doing things she was passionate
about and just also staying productive. Now, even though she
had a short WWE career, it was still it would

(29:46):
still be cool to see her one day get inducted
into the Hall of Fame because, as I stated earlier,
she also paved the way for the women's division that
we currently see now, and that's something that should be
acknowledged by the company, and she also caught on very
fast in the ring, which is very impressive and not
too many people can do that, but she was just

(30:07):
one of them. And she also had two appearances at Mania,
which will highlights of her career. So hopefully she can
get her flowers one day. And I think Chris Stratus
would be the perfect person to induct her since they
had history with one another and she basically became Ashley's
mentor when she first came to the roster, and I'm

(30:28):
sure Trish would have shared a lot of stories about her.
So those are pretty much my predictions as to where
she possibly would have been in her life if she
was still here with us, But she would definitely be
missed and remembered by her family, friends, peers, and fans.
So Western peace to Ashley Massarrow. So the next well

(30:51):
known slash former WWE superstar I would like to discuss
is Chris ben Watt, whose real name was Christopher Michael
ben Watt, who was born on May twenty first, nineteen
sixty seven in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, and he passed away
on June twenty fourth, two thousand and seven and fetti Ville,
Georgia at the age of forty years old, and before

(31:14):
I get started. My heart and prayer still goes out
to his family, and also my heart and prayers go
out to Nancy's family as well, because imagine what their
families had to endure doing this tragic doing that tragic situation,
and how difficult it was to even comprehend what happened
over the course of those days. So I just wanted
to first get my cardoles Is out to the families.

(31:37):
So I'm sure we y'all remember him from wrestling and
the indies, wrestling in ECW, WCW, and WWE, and he
had a lot of success with those companies where he
did win win a lot of championships and at the
time when I first started wrest watching wrestling full time
in two thousand and four, he definitely became He definitely

(31:58):
was one of my favorite super stars because he was passionate, fearless,
and determined when it came to his craft and when
it came to him competing in the ring. That's what
made him stand out. And while he was one of
my favorites, but he had an interest in wrestling at
an early age. He I the last the Dyna Mike
Kid and Brett Hart, and he would eventually start training

(32:19):
with Stuart Heart and the Dungeon and in nineteen eighty five,
he would begin his career at Stampede Wrestler promotion that
was owned by Stuart Hart. While he was wrestling for
the promotion, he he adopted some of his wrestler moves
like the dapping head budd and snapped suplex and his
first match was a tag team match where he would

(32:39):
team up with the remarkable Rick Patterson going against Butcher
Moffatt and Mick and Mike Hammer, where he and Patterson
were victorious, and then he would go on to win
various titles with the company like the Stampede British Commonwealth
Mid Heavyweight Championship, winning the four International tag team titles,

(33:02):
and winning three more British Commonwealth titles. Then he would
go on to New Japan Pro Wrestling and when he
first got signed with the company, he started training in
New Japan Dojo to sharpen his skills in the ring
and he debuted in nineteen eighty six and he started
wearing a mask and he was known as the Pegasus

(33:25):
Kid and he had matches with just with Justhin Thunder Leiger,
shan Hiro Atani, Black Tiger, and l Samurai. He did
win the i WGP Junior Heavyweight Championship, he won the
Best of the Super Juniors tournament twice and the inaugural

(33:46):
Super j Cup tournament. And he also wrestled in Mexico
and Europe where he won a few titles like the
u w A Light Heavyweight Championship. Then he would go
over to w c W, teaming up with Biff Wellington
to try to capture the NWA World Tag Team Championship,
and he had some single matches as well, and then

(34:07):
he went back to Japan, and he would go over
to Australia and back to Mexico, and then he would
join ECW, having matches with Saboo, teaming up with Dean Malinko,
winning the ECW Tag Team titles and having a field
with the Steino Brothers. Then he would make his way
back over to w CW where he became part of

(34:28):
the reformed for a Horsemen, joining Rick Flair, Arn Anderson
and Brian Pillman. Then he had a rivalry with Kevin
Sullivan Booker t and then he would team up with
Dean Malinko to win the WCW tag team titles and
then he would win a w CWUS title and he
also formed a stable called The Revolution that consisted of Malinko,

(34:52):
Perry Saturn, and Shane Douglas and he also got a
chance to wrestle Brett Hart, who was one of his titols.
He would eventually go to the WWF at the time
along with Eddie Guerrero, Dean Malenko, and Perry Sataram who
were known as the Radicals, and then he would go
on to wrestle Mannia two thousand to defeat Chris Shiroco

(35:14):
and Kurt Angle for the IC title in a triple
threat match. Then he would challenge The Rock for the
WWF title and having a rivalry with Jericho for the
IC title, and then he had broke sass with the
Radicals and he also had a feeld with them along
with Kurt Angle where they would have a match with
each other at russell Mania seventeen, Backlash and Judgment Day,

(35:36):
and he had become a tag team champion along with
Jericho and he won the IC title again. He also
became a tag team champion with Angle and he did
challenge Angle for the WWE title at the Royal Rumble
two thousand and three, but Angle did retain, and at
Wresselmannia nineteen, he teamed up with Rhino to challenge for
the tag titles along with Team Angle and Los Guerrero's.

(36:01):
But his breakthrough came when he won in two thousand
to four Royal Rumble as the first entrant our last
to twenty nine other superstars by eliminating the Big Show
to win. And then he would go on to Rustle
Manny At twenty where he defeated Tripleation Sean Michaels and
a triple threat match for the World Heavyweight Championship. And

(36:21):
this match was definitely my favorite, my favorite match that
he participated in because he was very resilient in this
match and it was definitely a battle that he was
in to win the title. And what made this match
at the end so special was his celebration with Eddie
and his family, So that was a very special moment
because it was a celebration of blood, sweat and tears

(36:44):
to become the world champion. And then his first successful
successful title defense was against Sean Michael said Backlash in
his own in his hometown of Edmonton, and the next
day on Raw he would win the tag titles with
Edge defeated Batista and Rick Flair for the titles and
then they would lose the titles to Lie Resistance and

(37:06):
he would have successful world title defenses against Caine a
Triple H, but he would later drop the title to
Randy Ord, making him the youngest world champion in WWE
history at SummerSlam. And this was also the first pay
per view that I saw when I really got into wrestling,
and I also liked the sportsmanship that Chris showed at
the end of the match because it was the main

(37:28):
event of the pay per view. And then he would
later have a few with Edge, but they would team
together at Taboo Tuesday to win the tag team titles
again before losing them moral. Then he would go on
to survive a series where he was part of Randy
Joran's team that consisted of Maven, Chris Shiroko, Randy Joran,

(37:49):
and himself where they would win the match where they
would have an opportunity to become general manager on Raw
and the next year at New Year's Revolution, he would
participate Plaid in the six men elimination match where Triple
H did retain the title, and then he would go
on to the Royal Rumble of that year as the
second entrant, lasted for a very long time before being

(38:12):
eliminated by Rick Flair. Then he competed in the first
ever money in the Bank ladder match at russell Mania
twenty one that consisted of him, Jericho who had been
at the match, Edge Shelton, Benjamin Kane, and Christian with
Tyson tom Co where Edge did win the match, and
then he would go back to SmackDown and he defeated

(38:33):
Eddie at ECW one night Stand and would later become
the US Champion by defeating Orlando Jordan at SummerSlam, and
he would successfully defend the title at No Mercy in
the federal four way match against Booker, Christian and Orlando,
but later dropped the title to Book on the episode
of SmackDown. Then they would start a field with him

(38:56):
and Book where they would have the Best out of
seventh series for the US title, where Chris was unsuccessful
with regaining the title due to the interference, but he
would eventually regain the title at No Way Out end
of that field, but he would drop the title again
to jbl at wressell Mania twenty two and later have

(39:17):
a rematch in the still Okhe match on an episode
of SmackDown, where JBL did retain the title, but he
would eventually regain the title by defeating Ken Kennedy and
he would successfully defend the title against Tchavo Guerrero three
times before a feuding with MVP, where he successfully defended
the title against him at Wressell MANU twenty three and

(39:40):
Backlash before dropping it to him at Judgment Day. Then
he would go over to the ec to the ECW
Brim where he would see him up with CM Punk
where they defeated Elijah Burke and Marcus Corvaan in his
debut match being part of the brand. Then he would
wrestle his final match against Elijah on ECW defeated him

(40:00):
to become number one contender for the ECW World Championship
what he was supposed to challenge for the title Avengeance.
So overall, he had a very great, successful career where
he accomplished so much. But you know, it's just very
sad and unfortunate that that situation occurred where the company
doesn't even want to mention his name and now his

(40:23):
first son named David, who wants to wrestle under his
dad's name won't be able to and it's obviously due
to his dad's actions. So now he has to figure
out what other name he would like to use. So
I just wish tomorrow the best of luck. So before
I get into my prediction, my predictions about where he

(40:43):
could have been, I just want to talk briefly about
the situation and what I think caused him to do
what he did to his family and himself. And even
though it won't justify his actions, because wrong is wrong,
I just want to explain what I think happened to him.
So we all know he did rustle for over twenty years,
and he did put his body through a lot of

(41:04):
damage over the years too. And I also learned that
he had he did substain a lot of concussions causing
him to have head trauma leading him to have CTE,
as I mentioned before, with tests, and I think his
wrestling move sets, you know, had a lot to do
with it as well with him developing CTE, especially with

(41:25):
doing diving hair buds. He will always do that he
will always do, which was in fact a risky move.
But the riskiest hair bud I saw him do was
when he did it off the off of a ladder
at Russell Many at twenty one and five and that
money in the bank ladder match. And prior to that match,
he had already had stitches in his forehead from a

(41:46):
previous injury, and after he landed the move, he reopened
the cut, causing him to bleed and have to get
restitched after the match. So I would have to say
that was the most riskiest hair bud I seen him
do and did. He would do it off the steel
cages and also use his head as a weapon in
the ring. So for instance, if he was on the

(42:06):
turnbuckle and another superstar to try to knock him down,
he would have butt them to stop stop them from
knocking him down. So he definitely had head trauma and
that definitely explains how he developed CTE. And if you
think about it, he was doing that move for majority
of his twenty two year career. And I also learned

(42:27):
that his brain was in very bad shape and compared
and it was compared to an eighty year old with
Alzheimer's disease. So I definitely believe he was not in
his right frame of mind when that situation occurred because
he did this over the course of three days, and
I believe all of the damage that occurred in his
brain probably caused him to snap and become a different person.

(42:49):
And he also seemed to have been suffering from depression
after Eddie Guerrero passed away, because he took it very hard.
During that tribute episode that was Daddy catered to him
and he did write a lot of letters to Eddie
expressing his thoughts about how he was feeling. And I
also watched the interview that Chris Jericho did talking about

(43:11):
how hard Ben Watte took it at his funeral room,
and he said when Ben White gave Jericho a hug,
Jericho said that the shoulder section of his jacket was
drenched with tears. That's how hard he took it. So
I do believe he didn't take it very well because
Eddie was was his best friend and they of course
shared the same passion. And I'm sure anyone anyone else

(43:35):
would have taken their heart as well lose to someone
that she was close to. So that's why I believe
he could have been depressed. And some people think Royd
rage may have been the calls because the Royds were
found in his home. But I watched another documentary and
they said that that was not a factor, but definitely,
but I definitely believe he was out of it and

(43:57):
not himself, because according to the interviews I watched about him,
his peers talked highly about him and enjoy being in
the ring with him, and they were all shocked when
they heard about the news. Secluded myself because I just
knew something wasn't right when he missed that pay per view.
But as I stated earlier, this was never This would

(44:17):
never justify his actions because it was still wrong and tragic.
So maybe if he changed his move sets around so
where he wasn't doing hair buss anymore, that probably would
have helped. And if he took time off to focus
on his physical well being and received counseling, counseling the
cope of grief and retired sooner, then maybe that situation

(44:39):
would have never occurred. Who knows. So now I want
to discuss my predictions as to where he would have
been in his career slash life if he was still
here and if that situation never happened. So at the
paper view, at the pay per view avengeance back of seven,
he was supposed to win. He was supposed to wrestle
seeing Punk for the ECW title, and he was scheduled

(45:01):
to win, so I do believe that he would that
it would have been a great match between him and Punk,
who had great technical wrestlers, and I think they would
have had a lot of chemistry in the ring, and
they probably would have shown sportsmanship at the end of
the match in the ring. And of course Chris would
have been happy to once again become the b Champion,
and I think he would have held that title for

(45:22):
a while before dropping it. And I'm sure he would
have wrestled at next year's WrestleMania, which was twenty four,
and I do predict he would have won another Royal
Rumble since at the time it had been three years
since he won a Rumble, and I think he would
have went after the World Heavyweight Champion again like he
did the first time, and I'm sure he would have
won it the multiple times. He would have won it

(45:44):
multiple times as well, and I'm sure he would have
had rivalries with other superstars like Punk, the Undertaker, John Cena,
Raymisterio Batista, the Great Collie, and etc. And I believe
he would have given them a run for their money.
And I believe at the time he was a babyface,
so I think at some point he would have turned

(46:05):
hell out of nowhere where it would have been at
least suspected. And I think he would have been a
great heel like he was a great babyface. And I
think he would have won the tag team titles once again,
and I could see him partner wing up, partnering up
with Chavo Edge, Kofi Kingston Ray or Shelton Benjamin, and

(46:25):
I think he and I think maybe he would have
had a few years left in him to wrestle before
retirement because at the age, because at the time he
was forty years old and he would have been fifty
eight years old today, so I would say he probably
would have had at least another five to eight years
left in the tank. And I do believe he would

(46:45):
have announced his retirement on either Raw or SmackDown. And
I think he would have retired at WrestleMania, and I
could see his last opponent being the Undertaker, where he
tries to end his streak, but it's set for the
Undertaker to to keep his street going. And of course
the match would have been amazing because one you have
a technical wrestler going against a brawler, which are two

(47:09):
different styles that would make that match unique. And second,
these are veterans were talking about that's been wrestling for years.
And third, they're gonna give each other a run for
their money. And lastly, it would have been it probably
would have won Match of the Year because it would
have been a slobery knocker in the words of Jim Ross.
And after the match is over, they probably I'm sure

(47:31):
they would have shown sportsmanship and they would have gotten
a huge standing ovation from the crowd and commentators, and
of course they would have gotten a huge one backstage
from their peers. And I could also see his retirement
match against John Cena because at the time they had
history with one another, and I'm sure they studied each
other well enough too, and I'm sure the fans would

(47:53):
have wanted to see them go with it one last
time because at the time, Sena had already become a
mega superstar and to be business and the h and
at the box office, and of course Chris was a
real established superstar beloved by the fans that still had
some fight left in him. And I'm sure this match
would have been great to see because it would have
been veteran versus superstar, and I think, hands down it

(48:17):
would have been a great match to watch and something
we will always remember. And I think it would have
been set for Chris to win because it would have
been his last match, making room for Sena to still
elevate in the business like he's already done. And I'm
sure they would have showed these other sportsmanship receiving a
standard ovation at the end of the match. So I think,

(48:38):
in my opinion, Taker or Sina would have been would
have been a perfect choice for his retirement match. And
I also believe he would have opened his own wrestling
school and h in his hometown of Canada to train
future superstars, helping them pursue their dreams of becoming a
pro wrestler, since he was very passionate about the business
and he had years of experience, and I'm sure he

(49:01):
would have been honored training future superstars. And as I
mentioned earlier, his oldest son wanted to follow him too
his footsteps, and maybe his youngest son did as well,
so I'm sure he would have trained and mentored them
to make sure they were ready for the business. And
he probably would have been their manager, appearing ring sad
in some of their matches. He probably would have did

(49:23):
a small storyline with them too, you know, I think
that would have been cool. And then he probably would
have started his own podcast about wrestling, and I'm sure
he would have made guest appearances on other wrestler podcasts
as well. And he also probably would have made appearances
at the NXT Training Center to encourage and mentor to

(49:44):
new talent, and he probably would have done some training
sessions with the new talent as well. And I'm sure
by now he would have made it to the Hall
of Fame, and of course his speech would have been
motivated and aspiring, and I'm sure he would have thanked
his family, fans and peers for and support. And I
think Bret Hart would have been a perfect person to
induct him because they're both from Canada. He did training

(50:07):
in the Heart Dungeon, and Brett watched him develop into
a successful performer, So that's why I think he would
have been a perfect one to do it. And I
also believe he would have been spending more time with
his family since he would have had the extra time
to do so, and I think he would have also
made surprise appearances to either Rawle of SmackDown if they

(50:28):
were in Canada, to promote maybe a WrestleMania or a
Summer Slam. And I'm sure someone would have interrupted him,
maybe a superstar who was a heel, probably talking stuff
to him about like what you're doing here? The attitude era,
a ruthless aggression era is over, and the fans probably
would have started booming the superstar. Then he probably would

(50:50):
have responded by saying, first things first, this is my hometown,
so I have every right to be here tonight. And
second of all, I'm here for my family and fans.
And everyone would have probably started clapping and cheering, and
wrestle Mania and Summer slamers right around the corner, and
I have a special announcement to make. Everyone would have

(51:11):
started cheering again, and the announcement would have been that
Russemanio either Summer Slam was coming back to Canada, and
of course the fans would have went bizarre. And the
last thing he would have said was and all of
the legends slash Hall of famers included myself are the
reason why you are a WWE superstar, because we opened

(51:31):
doors for you and if it was for the blood,
sweat and tears that were shed in this ring, none
not you, or none of the current talent would exist.
So that's why I'm here. And I'm sure he would
have said that with passion, and I'm sure he would
have been in the SuperStar's face and the crowd would
have still been cheering, and then the superstar would have
gotten mad, and then he probably would he probably would

(51:54):
have shoved Chris, trying to test him, and then Chris
would have retaliated and probably hit him in the face
with the microphone and then put him in a sharp shooter,
and so he got out of there, and so he
got to the ropes and out of the ring, and
then he probably would have said, come on, get your
ass back in the ring, and then his music would
have played and the crowd would have been chanting, you

(52:14):
still got it, and that's when we would have and
that's when he would have been interacting with the crowd
in the ring while still receiving a standing ovation. So
those are pretty much my predictions as to where he
could have been in his career in life after wrestling,
if he was still here, and of course, if his
family was still here too, But even though it's been

(52:35):
eighteen years, it's still a shock to this day, and
it's something I never saw coming because according to the
pictures that I've seen of him with his family, you know,
I could tell he was a family man and that
he loved being a husband and most of all the father.
And to know that that just and to know that
that happened, it's just beyond shocking. But I just hope

(52:56):
his remaining intermediate family and Nancy is doing well and
hoping with it to the best of their ability. And
as I mentioned earlier, I just hope his oldest son
receives an opportunity to get in the ring one day,
because he's still young, and I just hope he doesn't
get judged or mistreated by other restler promotions because of

(53:18):
what his father did, And I just hope they will
be willing to give him a chance, especially if he
has what it takes to succeed in the ring. So
to close out this segment, as I mentioned earlier, my
heart and prayers go out to Chris's family and Nancy's family,
and rest in peace to Daniel ben Watt and Nancy

(53:38):
ben Watt aka Woman the Last WWE Legend slash WWE
Hall of Famer. I would like to discuss it's Latino
Heat the late great Eddie Guerrero, who was hands down
one of my all time favorite superstars. The first time
I saw Eddie was on SmackDown, of course, and this

(54:00):
was when it came on on Thursdays on upn and
I believe at the time he was still teaming up
with Travel, but they were on the verge of going
their separate ways because Chavo did eventually turn on Eddie,
making Chavo a hill, and then Chavo Guerrill Senior aka
Chavo Classic and Rest in Peace to him came back

(54:21):
to wrestling briefly, so all three were in the family
field with one another. And after that field, he had
become the WWE Champion and he had just beat Kurt
Angle wet Wreussell Mannia twenty and then he would have
issues with JBL and I remember the match they had
at Judgment Day two thousand and four when Eddie got

(54:42):
busted open real bad. And what was amazing about that
match was he kept going. He didn't stay down because
he was bleeding very bad. He just stayed resilient and
then he had retained the title, So that was one
of the main reasons why you know, Eddie was always
one of my favorite superstars. And then so his real

(55:02):
name was ed Roddo Glory Guerrero Lanes and he was
born on October ninth, nineteen sixty seven in al Paso, Texas,
and he passed away on November thirteenth, two thousand and five,
in Minneapolis, Minnesota, at the age of thirty eight years old.
So I'm sure when we all think of Eddie, we
think of Latino Heat, we think of Biva La Rasa,

(55:25):
and we think of his theme song, Live Sheet and Steele,
And of course I have so many other memories about
Eddie that I would discuss briefly at the end. But
wrestling was definitely in his blood and he was born
to do it. His father, the late Great Gory Gueriro,
was a wrestler, making Eddie a second generation wrestler, and
also his brother Shavel Senior, Mondo and Hector were also wrestlers,

(55:50):
and of course we all know we all know his
nephew Chavell Junior, was a wrestler. So Eddie was definitely
born to do it, and he was exposed to it
for all of his life and he was strained by
his father. And he made his debut in nineteen eighty
six wrestling for promotions like CM L L and Triple

(56:11):
A form of the team with Art bar Conan, Shaquino Power,
and Madonnad's boyfriend called the Los Kringos Locos which means
the Crazy Americans, and debuted it mostly with Lheo del
Santo with his partner Octagon. Then Eddie would go over

(56:31):
to New Japan Pro Wrestling Wrestling under the name Black Tiger,
where he won the nineteen ninety six Best of the
Super Juniors tournament of Junior Heavyweights. Then he would go
to e c W where he won the ECW World
Television Championship from Tuco Scorpio and his debut match at
Three Way Dance. Then he would have matches with Dean

(56:54):
Malenko and another match with Scorpio and a two out
of fall two out of three falls match. Then he
would go over to w CW where he lost to
Malenko in his debut match, and he would have matches
against Conan and feuds with Ric Flair and the Four Horsemen.
Then he would have then he would have a field
with DDP and he would eventually win the US title

(57:17):
from him by participating in the tournament and defeating him
in the final round at Starcade, and he would successfully
defend the title against Scott Norton six aka x POC
and Chris Shiricho. Then he would eventually drop the title
to Malinko and then he would have a Field of

(57:37):
Jericho for the Cruiserweight title, which he did win a
fall brawl, and then he would drop the title to
Raymastereo at Halloween Havoc, which by the way, was one
of the best matches in w CW history at a
pay per view where both Eddie and Rageas had so
much natural chemistry in the ring and then it was
definitely a great match. Then he would regain a title

(57:59):
with again defeated the Ray for it, and he would
have a successful side of defense against Ray at World
War Three, and then he would drop the title again
to ot Mool Dragon. Then he would have a storyline
with Travel Junior where he would defeat him in the
match on w c W Thunder at a Bash at
Bash at the Beach. Then he would eventually form the

(58:23):
LWO which included him, Hector Garza and Damian where they
filled with Mysterio on Billy Kidman, and then he was
part of the faction called the Filthy Animals along with
Ray and Conan and they would have feuds with Deadpool
and Revolution. Then he would finally make his way over
to the w w F at the time along with

(58:44):
Ben Watt, Malenko and Perry Saturn on an episode of
Monday Night Raw. Then he would later be involved in
that infamous storyline he had with China, which was one
of the best storylines ever as I mentioned earlier, and
he would eventually win a europe title, but would drop
it to Saturn at Fully Loaded, and then he would

(59:06):
win the Icy title but would drop it to Billy
Gunn and then he would later reunite with the Radicals,
having the field with the with d X and the Hardys,
and then he would field with Jericho, Ben White and
Poc over the Iced title and he would later defeat
Test that wrestle Mania seventeen to become a two time
European champion, and then he would wrestle in the Indies,

(59:28):
having matches with super Crazy, Jubi two Guerira for Psychosis
Singing Punk and Ray Mystereo and then he would return
to the WWE where he would defeat RBD for the
IC title, starting the field with him and then he
would have a field with Stone Cold and then seam
up with Ben White, and then he would field with

(59:48):
Edge and then he moved over to SmackDown and they
would form and then he formed Lows carill ROAs with
Travo where they would become the tag team champions at
Survivor Series. Then they would have a few with Team
Angle and Eddie would win the tag team titles the
second time with Tajiri and then he would field and

(01:00:09):
then he would become the US Champion and have a
few with Senna Who and he would win the tag
team titles again with Travel and then he would have
a rivalry with The Big Show where he would drop
the US title to him and then losing the tag
team titles. And this is when Los Guerrillas broke up
and at the time I really got into the WWE,

(01:00:31):
and that would lead to their match at the Royal
Rumble where Eddie defeated Travo. Then he would later become
number one contender for the WWE title where he would
defeat brock Lessener and No Way out two thousand and
four to win his first WWE title, and I got
to say that was a very emotional match because Eddie

(01:00:52):
had been through a lot and he had overcome a
lot and to finally when his first major title was
a blessing and it was a great moment to watch
get his flowers because he definitely deserved it. And then,
as I mentioned earlier, he would defeat Angle to retain
the title at russell Mania Twiny. It go on to
have a rivalry with JBL where he would drop the

(01:01:13):
title to him at the Great American Bash in a
Texas bull rope match, and then he would have issues
with Angle where they would battle with SummerSlam where Angle
would defeat him, and then he would participate in the
four on four elimination tag matches Survive the Series where
his team defeated Angles team, and then he would form
a team with Ray where they would become the Tag

(01:01:35):
Team Champions, and then they would have a match with
each other at russell Mania twenty one where Ray defeated him,
and that would be Eddie's last WrestleMania, and then he
would become a heel once again and turn his back
on Ray, and you know what. I remember this moment
like it was yesterday because they had just lost the
tag titles and Eddie was mad at Ray and then

(01:01:56):
he beat the brakes off him and he ripped his mask.
Last thing he did was suplex him of the steal steps,
leaving him bloody and batter and I just remember being
upset as a kid watching this because I was like,
why would you hurt Ray Mysterio? Why would you hurt him?
That's your friend? And then of course Ray was also

(01:02:16):
one of my favorite superstars well still is one of
my favorite superstars to this day, so to see that,
I was actually mad at Eddie and then they would
later have a fine have their final feel with one
another with Dominick Mysterio, and I gotta say this storyline
was genius and also one of my favorite all time

(01:02:38):
storylines because it evolved my two favorite wrestlers who had
perfect chemistry in the ring, and they made it personal
by adding Dom in the mix. So that was when
Eddie was reading his bedtime stories, and I remember wondering
what was Ray trying to keep from dumb and what
was Eddie trying to tell Dom. Then I remember when

(01:02:58):
they had when they had a match up the Great
American Bash, and towards the end and Eddie went outside
at the ring to try to tell him something, to
try to tell Dom something, and Ray came out and
begged Eddie on his knees to not say anything, and
that's when he left Dom alone and they got back
in the ring and Ray managed to get the win
and he got dombed and they went backstage and then

(01:03:19):
on on SmackDown after the Bash, that was when Eddie
told Dom he was that he was, that he was
his real father, and that was when the when the
angle got deep. And I remember watching this and being
shocked at the same time as a kid because I
thought Eddie was for real, for real about it, but
my mom was like, uh uh, he looked like the

(01:03:40):
men in the mask. And that's when they would go
on to have their infamous match as Summer Slim for
the Custody of Dom And still to this day, that
match will always be my favorite ladder match because they
really tore the house up that night, and I like
how Vicky Gueriro interfear trying to stop Eddie from winning,
and that's when she knocks him off the ladder. She

(01:04:03):
knocks him off the ladder and gave the upper hands
to Ray, so we're in the match that soon after
Ray won, Dom was grinning from ear to ear and
then he jumped over the barricade to celebrate with Ray.
But that's one thing you know, I will always missing
a mier about Eddie is that he could break any
storyline to life because the way he betrayed that role

(01:04:23):
and that angle was magical because he played his cards
to a team and it's like you felt everything he
was saying. And of course Ray and she Domb and
Vickie played they parts of very well too, because me
being twelve years old at that sound watching that unfold,
I really thought that was real life. That's how good.
That's how good they did. And I like how Vicki

(01:04:46):
bought their daughter Shaol and Shery Lynne to SmackDown to
make it more personal. And again Eddie did his think
in that segment, and I like when he told her
called Holly to mind your own business, and that's what
Holly pushed to to the car door, and he told
Vicky to just go before I get hurt. And what
made the heart woman was when he apologized to his

(01:05:08):
girls for raising his voice and watching him get pushed
through the car door. So Eddie definitely. So Eddie was
definitely the goat when it came to selling storylines and
why that storyline was one of my favorites. But before
he passed, he did finally beat Rape because he was
obsessed with not being able to beat Ray, and I

(01:05:29):
will never forget it. It was on SmackDown in a
steel cage match when he finally beat him because at
first Eddie was going to escape the cage, but he
stopped and looked back and the started to pin him
by giving him the frog splash to ensure he would
get the win by paying fall. And after his last
field with Ray, and he had his final fuel with

(01:05:50):
Bautista for the World Heavyweight Championship and doing this angle
behind the scenes, him and Batista were very cool with
one another. But he did retain his time against Eddie
ed No Mercy, which would be his last pay per view.
That happened on Eddie's birthday, and his final match was
on set was on SmackDown that took place on November

(01:06:10):
the eleventh, two thousand and five, and he faced mister
Kennedy and I remember watching that match laugh at home
in my room, and he did win the match by
using his lion cheating and stealing tactics, and of course Kennedy.
Kennedy got upset and he hit Eddie with a steel chair,
and you know, I would have never thought in a

(01:06:31):
million years that would be my last time watching him
wrestle live in the winner of that match would advance
to survive a series, but the Raw versus SmackDown elimination
tag match, so just think he was supposed to wrestle
as survivor series, but he was replaced by Randy Ordon.
But I remember, like yesterday, you know, I played SmackDown

(01:06:51):
versus Raw two thousand and six that weekend, and Eddie
of course was in that game, and I decided to
do a career mode. So as I was scrolling through
through the superstar lineup to select someone, I remember something
telling me to choose Eddie. Choose Eddie, so I completed
a career So I chose him, and I completed career

(01:07:13):
mode with him, and I didn't suspect anything. It was wrong.
And of course this is way before social media was out,
so of course you wouldn't find out anything until you
watch the news or if you watch the program. So
he passed on the Sunday and I didn't find out
until the next day on RAL So I remember going

(01:07:34):
to school that day and everything seemed normal. I did
have a few friends in school that also watched wrestling,
but you know, no one mentioned anything. So I came
home from school, I did my homework, of course, before
watching Raw, and once at the clock PM rolled around,
I turned on Channel thirty nine, which was the USA channel,

(01:07:55):
and when Raw came on, I just knew something wasn't
right because the first thing I saw was his lowrider
on the side of the stage and all of the
superstars surrounding the stage in tears, and I saw people
in the crowd in tears, and I saw signs that
said rest in peace, Eddie Guerrero and thank you Eddie.
And that was when Vince McMahon brought the news that

(01:08:17):
no one wants to hear, and I just couldn't believe it,
and it just felt like I was in a dream
because I had just saw him wrestle on SmackDown three
days ago, and I had just selected him for career
mode in the game, So I'm thinking, how could this
be true? And it really hit me when a tribute
video came on and when I didn't have any other

(01:08:38):
choice but to accept it, and when some of the
superstars spoke highly about Eddie, that's when it really hit
me because everyone was taking it hard. But of course
we all knew who. We all know who took it
the hardest, and it was Ray Bautista and most of all,
definitely it was Ben Watt that took it hard because
I even got emotional listening to everything Ben wahte I

(01:09:00):
said about Eddie. But even though he was distraught, you
could tell, you could still tell that Eddie meant a
lot to him and to the WWE, because he definitely
touched a lot of lives. You know, he was a
very likable guy, and he was very relatable, especially if
you've been through something. And of course in wrestling, he
would make you like him, he would make you dislike him,

(01:09:22):
but that was just Eddie being Eddie and doing what
he did best was to lace up a pair of
boots and entertain across the world. And of course, throughout
the tribute episode, all of the superstars and devas at
the time wore eg arnbehm to pay respect to him,
and of course they played clips and highlights in his
career throughout the show. That would have to be, and

(01:09:45):
that would have to be one of the saddest Monday
Night raw I ever ever witnessed, along with the raw
I watched when Ben White had passed and the next year,
Eddie would be inducted into the Hall of Fame in
my hometown of Chicago, Illinois, and Ben Watch and Ray
inducted him, and Beckie and his family accepted the award
on his behalf. And you know, again very emotional because

(01:10:08):
again he was suspected in love by many, and he
passed away in his prime in doing his career, which
was very successful. So it was just very hard to
process the situation. But you know what, his legacy would
forever live on because still to this day his name
is mentioned in the business, and that says a lot.

(01:10:28):
And you have superstars like Dom Ray, monteze Ford and
Sasha Banks Aka and Marcedes Money still using his finisher,
the frog splash, and that says a lot. That he
was one of the ghosts and that his legacy will
always continue. But if he didn't pass back in two
thousand and five, he would have eventually been a two

(01:10:49):
time World Champion because at some point Batista would have
dropped the title, and I believe Eddie would have been
next to the line to be the champion, and I'm
sure he would have been proud to be the champion again,
and I'm sure he would have gotten a huge standing
ovation from the crowd like he did at No Way
Out two thousand and four, and he would have stayed

(01:11:10):
the baby face for a while as well. And I
also heard in the beginning of two thousand and six
he was supposed to have a feud with Sean Michaels,
and I believe those two would have definitely given each
other a fight, because you're talking about two veterans going
toe to toe with one another. And I do believe
they would have had line WrestleMania that year that next

(01:11:31):
year for the title, and that would have been an
incredible match. And I believe Eddie would have penned Sean
because that would have been Sean's way of passing the
torch to him, because Sean was already a multiple time
champion anyway, and he been to many of multiple times,
and this would have been Eddie's second title rank and

(01:11:52):
him getting his foot in the door of a man
have been in more WrestleManias, so that's why I could
see him retaining the titles. So he would have been
since he would have been a face of the company,
and I do believe they would have had a rematch.
But if he didn't become champion in five, I think
he would have won to Rumble to go on so
Mania to face the champion and win it that way.

(01:12:13):
You know, that could have been an option, but I
think the first option would have been better to just
have him going to Mania as the champ and defend
the title. And I do believe he would have held
the title longer than what he did the first time,
and I'm sure he would have defended the title going
against Ray, Kurt the Undertaker, Ordon, maybe JBL, maybe Sena,

(01:12:35):
and etc. Because at the time he was thirty eight,
So I do believe he would have wrestled for another
maybe five to eight years, because like I said about
Ben White before hanging up the boots for good, and
I'm sure he would have announced his retirement on either
SmackDown or maybe Wrong. And I think his retirement match
would have probably been against Ray because again they have

(01:12:56):
so much chemistry and who wouldn't want to see those
two tea down the house again for good at this time.
And I think the match would have been great, and
I think it would have been set for Eddie to
beat Ray to win his final match, since Ray had
more victories over him, And of course at the end
of the match, they would have embraced one another. They
probably would have been emotional too, and they would receive

(01:13:19):
a huge standing ovation from the crowd and commentators and
definitely from their peers backstage. And he could he currently
would have been fifty seven years old, going on fifty eight,
and I do believe he would have still had task
to the business, Like I could see him now visiting
the NXT training center to mensor and talk to some

(01:13:41):
of the talent about what would be expected out of
down working for the company. And I do believe he
would have been involved in Triple A that was recently
launched this past April, and I believe he just would
have been behind the scenes coming up with ideas for
the current talent. And I'm sure he would have been
a mentor to the superstars as well. And I think
he would have opened his own wrestling school in al

(01:14:02):
Paso to help train future superstars, and I believe that
Chavo Junior would have been involved are running the wrestling
school with him, and I could see that happening. And
also his brothers were probably would have been involved in
it too since they were former wrestlers too. And also
Eddie's oldest daughter, Shaw was a former wrestler that wrestled

(01:14:23):
in fc W, which was another pre WWE at the
time before NXT launched the wrestling under the name Raquel Diaz.
And I did watch a few of her matches and
I was suppressed with what I saw because she definitely
had skills in the ring like her dad, and she
did the three Amigos just like him, and she would

(01:14:43):
also use his live sheet to steal tactics which was
cool to see. But Eddie definitely would have trained her
to prepare her for life in the ring, and I'm
sure he would have enjoyed every moment or that knowing
that one of his daughters wants to follow into his footsteps.
And I'm sure he would have managed her for a
out while appearing while appearing ringside with her, just like

(01:15:04):
Rick did with Charlotte at the beginning of her career.
You know, I could see him doing that with Shaw,
and he probably would have appeared in the storyline with her,
which would have been cool to watch. And I also
believe he would have helped Ray train Dom, and I'm
sure Eddie would have looked forward to to that, knowing
that Dom wants to get in the business too, and

(01:15:25):
he definitely would have critiqued Dom's craft in the ring
to make sure he knew what he was doing and
to make sure he was comfortable with his craft, and
of course he would have made He would have been
a great mentor to him along with Ray, and I'm
sure he would have always been there to give him
advice on how to conduct himself in the company. And
I think he probably would have appeared in the storyline

(01:15:47):
with Dom, which would have been cool to see, and
also making guest appearances in a w WE to promote
maybe a WrestleMania or a Summer Slam. And he also
probably would have started his own pie cast or probably
been a co host on Chavo Junior's podcast, and I
believe he would have made guest appearances as well on
other wrestling podcasts, talking about his life, personal battles, and

(01:16:11):
wrestling career. And if he was still here, I believe
he would have made it. He would have made it
in the Hall of Fame once he officially retired from wrestling,
so maybe in the two thousand and tens he would
have made He would have made it, because probably he
probably would have been retired for good, focusing on other things.
And I think either Sean Ray, Chavo Junior, Ben White

(01:16:34):
or Angle would have been perfect to induct him because
they have history with him, and I'm sure they would
have hasded some great stories to share about him. And
I could see his daughters escorting him to the stage,
rob receiving the biggest stand of ovation from his family,
peers and fans. And of course it would have taken
him away out to speak because everyone would have still

(01:16:55):
been clapping, sharing his name and seeing you deserve it.
And I'm sure he would have been very emotional because
of the unconditional love he would have been shown that night,
and his speech would have been emotional, powerful and motivated,
and of course he would have thanked everyone for the support,
and he probably would have bought a low rider out
on stage at the end of his speech with his

(01:17:17):
daughters in it. And whoever choose to induct him in
the front seat, celebrated with him by the cargoes up
and down while streamers are coming down from the ceiling,
while his music is planned, and while still receiving a
standing ovation from the crowd, And I believe he would
have pulled up Somnia where they were introduced to inductees

(01:17:38):
with the low rider, breaking it down the al and
getting out the car to walk to his start, which
would have been in the center. So those are pretty
much my predictions as to where Eddie could have been
in his career in life out the wrestling, and it's
still hard to believe that it's almost have been twenty
years since he transitioned. And I would definitely do a
tribute episode later this year to celebrate his life and

(01:18:01):
career because he's definitely one of my favorites and I
definitely miss him a lot. And I gotta say, wrestler
was never the same again after losing him, because he
bought so much joy to everyone and he was so
passionate about his craft, and he loved his family, fans
and peers very much because they stood by him through

(01:18:21):
thick and thin. But other than that, rest the piece
to the Hall of famer Latino Heat Eddie Guerrero hashtag
Viva Larassa. So that's gonna do it for this episode
