Yeah, no problem do thank you for being a part
of the show.
Speaker 3 (01:23):
Not a problem. I love to talking about women's wrestling.
Speaker 2 (01:25):
Oh yeah, yeah, definitely me too, because you know, women
are paying the way, you know, they came a long way.
Speaker 3 (01:32):
Yes, very it's very much so exactly.
Speaker 2 (01:36):
Yeah, so could you see her the listeners? A little
bit about yourself and your platform.
Speaker 3 (01:40):
Uh yeah.
Speaker 4 (01:41):
Women's Wrestling TALKT started in twenty seventeen with after Buzz TV,
so you guys are.
Speaker 3 (01:46):
Familiar with that.
Speaker 4 (01:48):
It was an offshoot of I was a co host
with x POC or for XPOC for Xbox one three sixty,
so the offshoot of that show. And it originally started
off as an interview series, so we interviewed women wrestlers
every week, and then it went into becoming a network
where we have about seven different shows and several hosts
(02:10):
and yeah, we've been doing a lot of great things
and covering folks and just you know, pushing a women's wrestling.
Speaker 2 (02:16):
Okay, well that's nice to hear. That's nice, and you
could grants on your success too, thank you. You know,
I know that means a lot to work with, you know,
to interview women wrestlers and also to work with the
legendary Xbox So that's good AKA three keys.
Speaker 3 (02:30):
Yeah. Yeah, he's he's uh, he's he's good.
Speaker 4 (02:33):
I'm glad I saw him in at TNA, I think
like two weeks ago. So yeah, it's like it's it's
just great, you know, seeing seeing so many people do
great things.
Speaker 2 (02:42):
So yeah, okay, well that's awesome, man, that's awesome. So
now now what's the show. Overall opinion about this year
is WrestleMania.
Speaker 4 (02:51):
Uh, this Wrestleman. It was a little so it's there's
two different things for me. This year is WrestleMania. Unfortunately
I did. I was covering it, but I was working
with a w W Hall of Famer that whole weekend,
so my weekend was less of like the media side
and more of you know, the production assistant side, so
(03:15):
it was a different experience.
Speaker 3 (03:17):
I didn't really get to actually just finished watching.
Speaker 4 (03:20):
I rewatched WrestleMania again yesterday just because I just didn't
get to, Like, I didn't go to the stadium. There's
like pool parties, and some of my other co hosts
they were able to go to pool parties, but I
was like doing a lot of running around. But long
story short, I did really like this WrestleMania. I didn't
like the fact that, you know, it was like two
weeks later, a bunch of people got let go. So
(03:41):
I didn't really like that, but that's kind of on
par for the course, like a couple of years ago,
that's usually it was usually known after WrestleMania is like
people were gonna get let go for I feel like
the last couple of years they weren't doing that, so
I think people got comfortable. But on the whole, I
really liked this WrestleMania because Sonians of the Past, it
(04:01):
seemed like you get the WrestleMania and like it's like
a complete reset, whereas like they kind of end all
the storylines where this particular WrestleMania, it's like there's there's
things continuing, so it's not necessary a reset. It's like
this was a big deal and now we're continuing on
with everything else that's going.
Speaker 3 (04:19):
So I really like that.
Speaker 4 (04:20):
There's a lot more storylines for a lot of different people,
including women.
Speaker 3 (04:25):
So yeah, it was it was, it was good.
Speaker 4 (04:27):
I'm just in that particular incident, I wish there was
two of me. It's like one who can actually just
sit and enjoy the wrestling and the other one who
had an amazing opportunity to assist Hall of Famer exactly.
Speaker 2 (04:40):
Well, I have to say, you know, am my honest opinion,
I think the women really showed out this year at WrestleMania.
I gotta say my favorite match was Real Ripley versus
E L. Scat versus Bionfa bel Air. They really told
a house down, and I just wish they would have
had that opportunity to headline night too instead of Cody
and John Cena headline. And that was also a good
(05:02):
match with Charlotte Flair and Tiffany Stratten. I think they
really did their thing. And then if you think about it,
Charlotte Flair is pretty much passing the torch over to
Tiffany Stratton. You know, for Charlotte, she done had her
moment already, so now they want to get the newcomers
daytime to shine too. So that's what I felt like
that match is about. And yeah, you know, j car
(05:23):
Gill and Naomi did their thing too. Even though we
knew what was gonna happen. We knew, I mean, I
was well to see.
Speaker 3 (05:29):
The thing is I'm.
Speaker 4 (05:32):
I and I really like where wrestling is right now.
The thing is this, I really wanted Naomi to win
because I like, I love Naomi. I'm like a fan
of hers all the things, but in seeing in her loss,
it kind of put her in the position she is
now whereas and she would have won, it wouldn't have
(05:52):
you're not we wouldn't get the Naomi that we have now.
Speaker 3 (05:55):
So I get it.
Speaker 4 (05:58):
But you know, as a long time fan, you know,
I just always, no matter what, I'm always gonna be
like team Naomi. So I want her to win and
all the things, because my thing is like, how are
you gonna give it to the new girl?
Speaker 3 (06:10):
But I get it for the sake of the story,
it makes sense. So I just hope it.
Speaker 4 (06:15):
Pays off because I feel like sometimes they bring Naomi
to a certain level and then she kind of almost
gets shelves or she gets forgotten about, or they you know,
they don't necessarily complete her story. I think, like today
on Twitter, she said, you know, maybe she should call
in some favors from her family members, you know, Kishi,
like Paul. Like she even said Paul, and somebody said, well,
(06:36):
Paul's not, you know, part of the family anymore.
Speaker 3 (06:38):
It's like, well, she's like Paul loves me.
Speaker 4 (06:40):
So I just there's still I mean, I've been campaigning
for her to be with the bloodline or in some way,
shape or fashion for I don't know the better part
of a decade now, so I don't know if that's
ever gonna happen. However, I'll calm down on my monologue.
I understand why it happened.
Speaker 3 (06:57):
It was a good match.
Speaker 4 (06:58):
And then Tiffany and Arlett that was definitely a passing
of the of the torch. But like leading up to
it was so much like Tea and so much just atimosity,
like I absolutely love. I love when the story you get,
you get so engrossed in the story and then you
see how it plays out in the ring.
Speaker 3 (07:15):
So it Yeah, the women did an amazing job. Yes
they did.
Speaker 2 (07:19):
They did. I agree. And I like the fact that
Naomi is a heel now because we've been waiting. I've
been waiting on her to turn heels since forever because
at the time she was hell, it was with Teemed
Bad and that was a long years ago. And then
I had a feeling she was the one that did it,
did what she did to Jay Cargill because ftus on
smack that every time Bianca and Naomi would talk about
(07:42):
Jade and then the interviewers would talk about her, so
she would have this look on her face as if
she knew something. You if you look at some previous
SmackDown episodes, you would see her face was real different,
like she knew something.
Speaker 3 (07:55):
Man. But I mean you have to throw her throw into.
Speaker 4 (07:57):
The car though, like.
Speaker 2 (08:00):
Yeah, she jacked up.
Speaker 3 (08:02):
Well, I mean I could.
Speaker 4 (08:03):
I could see the frustration because it's like you look
at how nice, you look at how Jade they kind
of introed her into w W. You know she left
because I remember actually interviewed Jade right before she got signed,
and so you know she she she got signed. Then
you saw the video of her at at the performance center.
Then you saw you know, tiple H escorting her like
(08:25):
and of course at a different time, it's a different era.
But I mean i'd be I'd be a little I'd
be a little upset, like, oh, you're gonna you're gonna
you're gonna play Kate to the new girl, like like
she just got here. So I could I could see
the reasoning and and I understand it all. But it's like, damn,
we're pushing her through a car. Okay, I guess I
guess that's what we're doing.
Speaker 2 (08:46):
Yes, But I got to say her and Bianca killed
that promo in that ring. That was an Oscar performance.
Yeah very much. Yeah, So I understand that you did
a go to wrestle Mannia in person. What was that experiently,
it's like with them being in Las Vegas.
Speaker 3 (09:03):
This year, it's different.
Speaker 4 (09:06):
So this is my third WrestleMania in person, or this
is my third going to WrestleMania in person. So I
was able to go to Philly and Los Angeles like
in the stadium. Then, like I said, this time around,
I was assisting a Hall of Famer do like a
whole bunch of other stuff, but just being in the
atmosphere and then also shout out to all crib and
(09:28):
wrestling or few as well.
Speaker 3 (09:31):
They had a show, so I was assisting. I did
commentary for that. So what I love and also what
I love what I love for the.
Speaker 4 (09:40):
Wrestlers and wrestling fans is that there's so much wrestling.
There's so many shows to go to, Like it's like
you're pretty much not sleeping for three to four days
because I didn't I didn't sleep, but there's so many shows.
Speaker 3 (09:54):
You can't see everything.
Speaker 4 (09:55):
Like you could have literally seen women's shows that whole
time if you wanted, you if you schedule it properly,
and there were there were women events and stuff like that,
so that was kind of that was kind of the
disheartening thing because I couldn't be everywhere. But on the
flip side, I love sorry if you hear the helicopters.
On the flip side, it was there was so much
(10:17):
good that. You know, w W had so many things.
We did Remix Rumble where they remixed wrestlers intro songs
and stuff like that, and there's like a whole party,
so there was like there was something to do from
the time you like Wrestle Con from the time you
get up to like I mean Hills Has Eyes I
think finished at four o'clock in the morning, so there
(10:38):
was something to do like every moment of the day.
Speaker 3 (10:42):
So that was what I really love about the whole experience.
Speaker 4 (10:47):
And you just never know who you'd walk into or
you know, if you're if you are a fan of
a certain somebody who's not you know WWE, who's like
an indie wrestler. They're all around because there's so many
different shows, so there's just like a lot and there's
also a lot of opportunity.
Speaker 3 (11:02):
The show that I was working at.
Speaker 4 (11:05):
We were walking, me and the owner are walking towards
the venue and we were bumping into we bumped into
some wrestlers who were handing out flyers and we actually
needed some people to fill in some certain spots, and
those wrestlers got a job that day to work that night.
So it's just kind of it's you know, it's you know,
(11:25):
it's it's it's it's it's kind of like hustling.
Speaker 2 (11:28):
It's acting.
Speaker 3 (11:29):
It's it's it's just a beautiful it's a beautiful thing.
Speaker 4 (11:32):
And then also another opportunity seeing like got together Shout
and Andreas. It was called Biggie's Brunch last year, and
it's kind of like an event for podcasters and you know,
you just kind of people who are, you know, in
wrestling podcasts and do wrestling podcasts.
Speaker 3 (11:47):
We got to get together and you.
Speaker 4 (11:50):
Know, it's nice to see new faces, it's nice to
see old faces, and you know, talk different theories off
the record, and so yeah, there's stuff like that. So
it was a really great experience. As as far as
it being in Vegas. I was telling a friend of
mine who lives there, it's like, I don't know, it
was great.
Speaker 3 (12:06):
It was great. For Vegas. For me, I feel like.
Speaker 4 (12:11):
I feel like Philly was great, to Philly might have
been better because the stadiums were closer.
Speaker 3 (12:18):
La was, and I live in La.
Speaker 4 (12:19):
La was a little bit more challenging because it was
you know, you're going from so far to.
Speaker 3 (12:26):
You're going from so far to.
Speaker 4 (12:28):
Staples and that that was a whole journey in itself,
so totally different experiences everywhere. But I actually, I think
I really liked Philly the best because there's just there
were so many things that you could do. And then
I really loved the city. Like you know, my cousin
came down from New York. We took a whole tour
of the city and stuff like that. So no shade
to Vegas, but.
Speaker 3 (12:50):
No more to do.
Speaker 2 (12:51):
Oh yeah, well that's good. How a would the Philly cheese, steaks,
salvages and Philly Yeah.
Speaker 4 (12:56):
And there's that too, And we went to like some
incredible my cousin I can't remember the name of the
restaurants because you know, I can't even remember what I
did yesterday, but you know, my cousin took me to
some really great black restaurants there, so I really like
it's kind of I think, I say, catch on me
too a lot. It's kind of one of those things
where it's like you can enjoy the city and take
it all in, but you don't get to take it
(13:16):
all in because you're so busy.
Speaker 3 (13:19):
So you know, I guess take a lot of pictures
or something. But it's on the whole. It's a really
it's a good experience on the whole. So I really
liked it.
Speaker 2 (13:27):
Well that's cool. And then I didn't catch it. But
how many days were you there for?
Speaker 3 (13:31):
Oh gosh, I think I was there.
Speaker 4 (13:33):
I got there on the Tuesday, and I think I
left on the Monday, so I was there for like
six days.
Speaker 3 (13:40):
Wow, Yeah, yeah, it was.
Speaker 1 (13:43):
It was.
Speaker 3 (13:44):
It was a lot. I and then I then I
ended up getting sick when I came back, and then
you know, it was it was. It was again.
Speaker 4 (13:51):
This experience was a lot different because I was helping
out with a Hall of Famer, you know, with a
lot of different things, and I was in rooms that
I didn't think I was going to be in, and
then I was just a fly on the wall in
some of these situations and it was a great experience.
And then I got to do commentary for the first
time during the WrestleMania week, So yeah, it was just
kind of it was.
Speaker 3 (14:11):
It was a good experience. I can't I can't.
Speaker 4 (14:13):
I can't complain never in my like bingo bingo card
what I've thought, you know, two years ago i'd be
doing all this stuff.
Speaker 2 (14:20):
So yeah, it just goes show at the skas the limit,
anything is possible. You just got on putting down material
and then continue to show passion for it and you're
gonna be Okay, yep, very true. But that's cool. And
I will say, what was like one of your all
time favorite matches at this year's WrestleMania.
Speaker 4 (14:43):
It's a toss up. I really liked I really liked Tiffany.
I really liked Tiffany and Charlotte. But I'm leaning towards
Naomi and Jay because there's just I don't know, you know,
I like Melanin.
Speaker 3 (14:57):
So it's between the two of them, between the two
of them.
Speaker 4 (15:00):
Okay, However, Paul Hayman and that swerve that he did, like,
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (15:09):
It's he.
Speaker 4 (15:11):
I know they have the Slammys, but like mm hmm,
there has to be some the oscars need to open
up some type of category for like the the the
acting ability of like Paul Hayman or even when the
bloodline was like intact, even that. Yeah, like it's just
insane and he has so there's so many layers to
(15:32):
him and he never really breaks character. I mean, I
hope that is just his character and he's a nice
person in real life, but you know, I don't know,
but yeah, that was that was unexpected, Like you know,
so that that that there was a couple of swerves there.
Speaker 2 (15:46):
Too, Okay, cool, and then that's cool. Now, how do
you feel about The Rock not showing up at Mania?
I mean, you think he started this whole thing with
Cody Rose and John Cena and the mattress are already atrocious.
I'm gonna just put it out that that was horrible
and if for him not the show up, what are
your feelings about that?
Speaker 1 (16:03):
Man?
Speaker 4 (16:04):
So leading on to Vegas, I thought that, you know,
that would have been the perfect time for The Rock
to show up.
Speaker 3 (16:12):
But it's clear that he don't care about our feelings.
And that's fine.
Speaker 4 (16:15):
I mean, you know, somebody who you know is is
kind of part of the company, and then he has
so many other things going on. He's a family man,
et cetera, et cetera. You know it's we might we
might get the showdown that some of us might want,
we might not, and we just have to be okay
(16:37):
with that because you know, or it seems like he
just likes teasing us, but there's one there at one
point it has to come.
Speaker 3 (16:45):
Like I know, he thinks, I'm gonna try to tread
lightly this like this.
Speaker 4 (16:50):
I know, I know when people work out, they always
think that they're you know, they're invincible. But there's going
to come a point in his life life where he
can't go and we won't be able to see, you know,
the matches that we you know, the leftover matches we
want to see, you know, like it. And I don't
know if that him and Roman are like a thing anymore,
(17:12):
meaning that like does it even make sense like that
the time to pull that trigger him against Roland that
you know what I'm saying. But the bloodline is expanding
and we don't know how many more family members are
coming down the pipe because they're they're they're they're all wrestling,
So I don't know, So a long story short, I'm
because he kind of disappointed me in La. I'm not
(17:35):
I'm not as disappointed now, because that's just, you know,
it's kind of almost the definition of insanity. You expect
him to do something that you want him to do.
He didn't do the first time, so why would you
expect him to do it because you want him to
do it the second time.
Speaker 3 (17:49):
He's gonna come when he feels like coming.
Speaker 2 (17:50):
So there is Yeah, But I just think, in my opinion,
it would have been so cool to see him. I
would rather see him versus Travis Scott because number one,
Travis took all day come down to that ring and
then he come at the very last second and that's it.
And then did you see the interview he had did
on ESPN. I think was the Pat McAfee show. He
got on there basically explaining why he won that and
(18:12):
a lot of people just wasn't buying it.
Speaker 3 (18:14):
Yeah, well, I mean, so was it Philly? I think
it was Philly.
Speaker 4 (18:19):
So these long entrances like the Rocks Roman, I think
Cody took a long time. They were like eight minutes apiece.
Speaker 3 (18:27):
I mean, Jay's entrances like hell along.
Speaker 4 (18:30):
So I guess I guess Trump's is like, look y'all
using my song, So you're gonna get this long entrance too.
I don't know, It's just it's a good thing because
if you're watching it at home, you don't have to
pause it. You literally have like eight minutes to go
to the bathroom and come back, and they're still walking
down the ramp. So it's a good thing in that
(18:50):
in that way, And then who wouldn't want like, who
wouldn't want that? And then also thinking, I like really
wonder if you can like you know, it's a lot
like behind the curtain, but like what are you thinking
in your mind as you're slowly walking down this like
this this, this the ram. It's just kind of like
cause you have to you have to almost make yourself
(19:10):
walk slower than you normally walk. So how do you
how do you balance all that? I mean, I guess
they're professionals to do that, but it's like just like
think about it, eight minutes of slow walk to the ring,
Like what do you think in your mind?
Speaker 2 (19:24):
It's like they're trying to compete with the Undertaker, who yeah,
the longest interest here. Yeah yeah, but I mean it
would have been cool. But hopefully he has show up
at Somerslam A lease, yeah.
Speaker 4 (19:35):
Well we'll we'll see like I said, I don't, I don't.
It's one like, if you show up, I'm happy. If
you don't, I'm still happy because, like I said, rock
don't care about your feelings.
Speaker 3 (19:44):
And that's and that's okay. He's the row.
Speaker 2 (19:46):
I can't exact. He doing this thing with TKO, so
I get him.
Speaker 1 (19:50):
Yep.
Speaker 2 (19:51):
So now how do you feel about Paul Hammond? But
try and Roma Ryans and singing punk on night one.
Speaker 4 (19:56):
Man, it's a swerve, and I think it's I think
I'm really anything Paul Hayman touches turns into gold.
Speaker 2 (20:08):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (20:08):
So if you remember back, maybe like maybe two or
three years ago, it might be long. My my years
and days are all messed up. But there was an
interview that Jeff did where he pretty much said that
Roman was the guy. So it's just kind of one
of those things where it's like he always felt like
he was going to be like number two, even though
he worked harder than him, et cetera, et cetera. So
(20:29):
it's really nice to see that he's getting, you know,
the the accolades, and now Paul Haman's behind him, so
I think he's gonna get everything that he's dreamed about,
which is great because he's been working so hard and
I think in the pecking corner of w W, it's
just kind of like, you know, he is one of
those guys he just wasn't Roman. So now with Roman
(20:52):
kind of you know here some days here, not here,
not the other days, and Paul Haymen's now backing him.
It's good for him in that personal sense beyond wrestling
in the storyline. As far as Pat Paul Hayman is concerned,
I'm just considered curious on how this is all gonna be, Like,
you know, you have bron Breaker with them, are they
adding any more people to their uh to, to the
(21:13):
to the squad? You know, does it result in you know, Seth,
you know, controlling everything and everybody has to take him down.
So I'm just kind of I'm I'm really invested in
the story to see what's happening. And I really love
where ww's right now because at one point May it
was kind of I call like the Vince eras you
could you could predict what's gonna happen, and right now
(21:35):
it's just like you don't you don't really know, Like
even with Naomi's like you you could go back and
see the little hints, but you didn't really know for sure.
And that's what I really love right now, where it's
just like I think, sorry, I think you can hear
my dog she's snoring. I think, I think, like I
know what's gonna happen, but I'm not sure. And then
there's way more swerves than not.
Speaker 2 (21:54):
So I like that, yeah, because I didn't see that coming,
because I'm dear predict that Paul Haymen was gonna be
right Roman, but I didn't think he was. He was
gonna join forces with Seth Rollins, I didn't see it coming.
And then, like you said, he had bron Breaker. But
I think it'd be so cool if they added Becky
Lynch to that, with her being a heel.
Speaker 4 (22:13):
Now, yes, but I think I and then and correct
me if I'm wrong. I think she did an interview
where she said she didn't want to do like the
whole like relationship, you know, faction thing. Yea, So I
actually it might have been in her book. It might
have been in her book, So I don't see I
don't see it happening, but I mean, you know, if
(22:36):
the story is right, it makes sense. I think Becky
would pull the trigger. However, if it doesn't make sense
to her, I don't think she's gonna do it. I
think she's in a really good position that she can
say what she wants to do or not. So yeah,
I don't know. I don't see. I don't see that,
even though, like I've been wanting, like you know, Naomi
and Naomi to join the bloodline, like I don't know
(22:58):
in what version, because I just don't want her to
be the backup to like her husband, so you know,
and there was a perfect time when Tamina was there
and Nya and Naomi they could have did a faction.
Speaker 3 (23:12):
There are so many different things, but I don't know.
We'll see, we'll see. Like again, I love although I
in real life.
Speaker 4 (23:19):
I don't love being wrong in wrestling in the wrestling terms,
I don't mind being wrong where it's just like that's
what I thought, but it's not what it is, and I'm.
Speaker 2 (23:26):
Happy with it is exact because it seemed like when
they're young and they're trying to have her work together
with Naya Jackson, which of course who was of course
I cousin through marriage, so I could see that happening,
you know. But we'll see.
Speaker 1 (23:38):
No.
Speaker 2 (23:38):
But what they need to do is, I know they
got tag teams titles for the women, they need to
get another one for smack Down so that way rob
to have their own ones and SmackDown had their own ones.
That is cool.
Speaker 3 (23:50):
The problem, to me, the problem is.
Speaker 4 (23:55):
There's not enough tag teams, and there's not enough legitimate
tag teams because what happens is some times they just
put two people together.
Speaker 3 (24:02):
I'm not a fan. I'm not a fan of that.
Speaker 4 (24:04):
I'm a fan of like yes, Like for instance, a
good case is like the New Day, right, the New Day,
you know, prior to the.
Speaker 3 (24:12):
Whole big situation.
Speaker 4 (24:13):
So the New Day, they're a faction, they're a tag team,
and they're always up until them ousting Biggie, which I
don't agree with. They always kind of like we're brothers
no matter what. So you know, KOFE can do this,
but I'm gonna support you opposed to you're inn a
tag team. Now somebody goes off and wins, and now
you're no longer a tag team anymore because it wasn't
(24:35):
really a tag team to begin with. So I feel
like if they can get legitimate tag teams, then yes,
But I don't think we're there unfortunately, where we have
like legitimate women's tag teams on both ron SmackDown to
actually make it like they commit to make it work.
Speaker 3 (24:54):
Yeah, so I think we'll get there.
Speaker 4 (24:56):
But it's also like I think some people, Man, I
don't want to say this, but I think some people
have to realize that they're not going to be like
Jade and they're not gonna be Bianca.
Speaker 3 (25:07):
And that's okay.
Speaker 4 (25:08):
You can be you know, you could be a really
good tag team and make a difference and you still
make all the money and still have the merchants, still.
Speaker 3 (25:15):
Do all the things.
Speaker 4 (25:17):
You know, not every my favorite thing is not everybody
can eat lebron. So once you realize that, like then
you're not chasing ghosts.
Speaker 2 (25:25):
That's it. Yeah, yeah, that's true. That's true. But I
do like the fact that nxta with the women. They're
starting to come over to the main roster now, so
make some noise. So I think that was a smart
move that Paul and Triple, I mean Paul and Sean
did together, you know, to get them more involved because
NXT is really involving and yes, I do need to
catch up on more episodes but I'm so into Roma SmackDown.
(25:47):
It's like, Okay, I watch NXT when I can, though,
but when see I think in the future there will
be more women's team. So but it's just they going
through that rebuild moment right now, so where they're just
trying to get some stuff together.
Speaker 3 (26:01):
Yeah, no, NXT.
Speaker 4 (26:02):
NXT is on fire right now with the women. The
men's division is really popping off. And then the partnership
essentially with NXT and TNA is really crazy. So it's
and then you then you have evolved and then you
have LFG, so you have so many people like coming
up the pipe as far as you know, eventually these
are gonna be superstars that you know, we don't know
(26:24):
of just yet. So it's just one of those things
where it's just it's just.
Speaker 3 (26:30):
It's amazing to see where we are.
Speaker 4 (26:34):
In particular women's wrestling, when wrestling in general, because at
one point NXT, the women's division's kind of been stronger
for the last maybe year or so. Yeah, I feel
like the men's divisions coming up now as well, you know,
with with TRICK and then you know Trick now doing
stuff with TNA and stuff like that. So it's just
and then even they had TNA in Los Angeles and
(26:54):
they had a lot of NXT people there. So it's
just I'm really enjoying the crossover. But yeah, it just
it just seems like there's just more people to pick from,
more great talent to pick from.
Speaker 2 (27:07):
Exactly. DNA had made a deal with Double A, which
is pretty much a Lucha libro wrestling brane, so smart,
and I think that Ray Mysterio is going to help
help out with that because he was around, He was
around the people when they made when they made that
announcement that the wrestling the pre show, So Ray Mysterio
really having a lot to do with that, because if
(27:27):
you think about it, this is a Hall of Famer
that's been wrestling for all but thirty years, so it
will make sense to have Hill help run that.
Speaker 3 (27:34):
Yeah. No, Yeah, Triple A is going to be a
really great thing as well.
Speaker 4 (27:38):
It's been around for a very long time, So I
my fear is that all these don't become like a
feeder system to WW like for instance, TNA has had
its own creative ability and creativity for a long time,
so I don't want it to be like it eventually
(27:58):
just becomes like, oh, we developed talents here and then
you know, then they go off to w w E
because TNA is you know, their their storytelling ability and
especially in the knockouts division up until a little bit
a little while ago, has been like top notch. So
I just don't want even with Triple A, even though
I haven't I have, I've heard about it, I haven't
(28:20):
had a chance to really kind of dive into, like
all be.
Speaker 3 (28:23):
Consistent because there's so much trustling.
Speaker 4 (28:26):
I just don't want them to lose the characteristics of
what made them, you know, those those platforms exactly.
Speaker 2 (28:34):
Yeah, well, said Whale said. Now, so so back to
like the WrestleMania So, what were your thoughts about the
way the main event with Cody Rolls and Johnson ended.
Did you agree with the way Johnson to beat him
or do you disagree with the way he defeated Code.
Speaker 4 (28:52):
I think it had I mean there was there was
some people thought it wasn't gonna happen, but giving it
it's his last year and giving the real turn and
all the things, I feel like that's kind of the
only way it could have happened. And now you have
to finish telling you know, John Cena's story up until
his retirement. So he made that he was gonna retire.
(29:12):
I think he made that announcement money in the bank
last year, Yeah he did. Yeah, So he announced his
retirement last year now approaching another money in the bank
in another month or so. So and not to say
he's gonna retire there, he still was a full year.
But it's really interesting to see how that's gonna play out.
So I think it had to happen to give him
enough runway to have his whole story because I think
(29:36):
he's gonna I think he's gonna end as a face.
I don't think he's gonna end as a hell.
Speaker 2 (29:41):
That's what I'm thinking too, Because I said, this ain't
the first time John Cena has been to heel. He's
he was a heel before in the early two thousands.
This Chiefs wasn't as intense as it is now. So
and I and I kind of seen thinking back why
he did win the way he did so that way
it could create more fire to the and more fire
to the So yeah, so now we just got to
(30:02):
see what's what now. But I just thought for sure
he would have beat him fair square, and then that's
it because because I had a feeling he was gonna
be number seventeen. He was like, we're in the title
seventeen times. But I just didn't think the outcome was
gonna be that.
Speaker 3 (30:16):
Yeah. Well, I mean, do heels winning fair and square?
Speaker 2 (30:19):
No, No, they don't, they don't. But I guess I'm
thinking about Russell Man. This is mayniya here.
Speaker 3 (30:24):
Yeah, but you have to, I mean, yeah, me, I
think it did what it needed to do.
Speaker 2 (30:34):
Yeah, yeah, I guess we'll see though, But I do
say that Cody might take the title back off of
him while he's done for good.
Speaker 3 (30:42):
Oh yeah, I definitely see that happening.
Speaker 2 (30:45):
Yeah, I definitely can. All right, so now we want
to get us a backlash, which is tomorrow. So now
what are your thoughts about Randy Jordan and John Cena
facing each other?
Speaker 1 (30:54):
Ooo?
Speaker 4 (30:55):
I mean this is not their first go round, so yeah,
that's that's that's one thing, and I think it's gonna
be It's gonna be a really great match. But I
feel like Sena's gonna come out on top and this
might actually propel it when you kind of look at everything,
because you know, even though it's kind of a year
or a little bit less than a year for SNA
(31:16):
to retire. He can only tell so many stories, right,
and so you know, it's kind of like and you
you want them to mean something you wanted to like,
you know, him and Cody his Heel Turn Lady up
to WrestleMania, you wanted to mean something. So I think
with him and Randy Orton, I don't think this is
gonna be their their first or last time last go around.
Speaker 3 (31:37):
I think they might have another one after this, which
may result in I don't know.
Speaker 4 (31:42):
I have this strange feeling that you know, scene's gonna
come to come to Jesus moment after you know, maybe
you know, Rhodes beats the break or sorry, Randy Orton
beats the breaks off of him, and then you know,
Rhodes comes and takes the title.
Speaker 3 (31:55):
Or something to that effect.
Speaker 4 (31:57):
But I don't think this is their gonna I don't
think this's gonna be their first a last go round.
So I think Sena is gonna take it, but I
don't think it's gonna be the end of it for them.
I think they might run it back again in Summer Slam,
or something's gonna happen leading.
Speaker 2 (32:10):
True, because who would have thought you would see he'll
see a go against Babby face Randy because all Feith
and we Ea other it was always seen it a
good guy and Randy to hell. So now we get
at different perspectives, now make some more interesting mm hmm.
So yeah, we'll see. But I definitely see sena retainer. No, yeah,
but I I but you know, but well, he'll be
in the hill. He may not do it fair and
(32:31):
square again, he may be doing his whatever what he
wanted to do to win, but you know, and it
means necessary exactly that's what he's gonna do. And another
match I want to discuss is that match between Lyra
Barkiria and Becky Lynch for the Women's I see title
like one of your thoughts about that.
Speaker 4 (32:48):
Match, Oh that's what that's a tass up because it's
kind of like they're both on the home team and
then and Becky's now upset at Lyra and all things.
So I feel like it was a good way to
introduce Becky into a storyline, and I I kind of
(33:11):
want Becky to win because I don't know what's gonna
happen after. However, I feel like Lyra needs to win
in order to you know, obviously she's the newcomer and
you need to put some heat on her for people
to like buy into it. And I feel like she's
not all the way there yet. There's just a little
something that needs to be done with with Lyra for
(33:34):
like the audience to really kind of like passion on her.
So I feel like Lyra's going to win, and if not,
if Becky wins, there's like a there's like a there's
a storyline that between her and her and Lyra.
Speaker 3 (33:46):
That's gonna continue for a little bit longer.
Speaker 2 (33:48):
Oh yeah, But I do say it's gonna be a
great match though, because if you think about it, he's
two women. They had made history by becoming the first
Irish Tax Team women Tax Team champions. They made history
in the scene two Irish women go with it for
the women's I see title. That's the history there too,
because we would have never thought we'll see it. And
if you think about it, Lira looked up to Becky,
(34:09):
so to know that Larra's going against her role model,
it's gonna it's just gonna make it more intense. And
then too, you know, I didn't at first, I didn't
see that heel time coming. I didn't see it at first,
but now it kind of makes sense because again, like
we talked about earlier, it's all about passing the torch down,
So now Becky is passing it down to to Lrald.
(34:29):
So I think, in my opinion, Lyra will win, but
it's not gonna be an easy win because of course
we talking about the man, Becky Lynch, and then she's
been there, done it, and then she's beating the best.
So I said, this match is gonna be good, but
it's just you know, it's gonna be hard for Larra
to pick up the win because again you're going to
getst Becky Lynch. But I don't. But I do say
(34:50):
they're gonna fight more than once. This is not gonna
be their first time. They're gonna have many more rivalries,
and I think they might finish up the rivalry of SummerSlam.
Speaker 3 (35:00):
I agree, I agree.
Speaker 4 (35:01):
So that's why I'm yeah, that's why I'm saying, like
it can It feels like it can go either way,
and you know it might. It might be where Becky
takes it, and now Lyra's chasing. And now that's the
story leading up to SummerSlam. And now people are you know,
really backing for her and stuff like that, so you
know it can it can go, It can go anyway exactly.
Speaker 2 (35:18):
Yeah, yeah, and I'm definitely that's the match I'm really
looking forward. So now, well, what about the match between
Jacob Batu, l A Night, Drew Mcatar, and Priest. Now
do you agree it should have first? Do you agree
it should have been a fatal four way match or
do you think Jacob should have just thought one of
those superstars or faced one of all superstars.
Speaker 3 (35:37):
I don't know why, Like I mean, I obtously know
why what I know how it happened. I don't know
why it's happening because I feel like Jacob should just.
Speaker 4 (35:46):
Have He's just so dominant and so just like he's
and he's also the champion, so I feel like he
should he should have it with just one person. However,
this also will you know, if he proves to maintain
the championship and you know, still is US State champion,
(36:09):
Like I feel like.
Speaker 3 (36:11):
That just shows his dominance. Like okay, like I just
ran through three people, so you know it might it
might go.
Speaker 4 (36:19):
Well, I don't I don't want to say, Mike, they
built him so much that it's probably gonna go his way,
and this match is gonna be like a massacre in
a good way, Like it's gonna be a good match,
like everybody's gonna have their their time to shine. But
how he finishes it is gonna be crazy. And that's
what I'm looking forward to see.
Speaker 2 (36:36):
Yeah, because Jacob has really grown on because I know
he dominated over at the indies scene with his cousin
Zilla Zilla Fasul. So I'm definitely excited for Jacob though.
And it was definitely we all deserved for him to
be the US champion because he proved that he was
the one that he could, that he could really stand out.
I said of the blow a lote to do his
whole thing, that he don't really need Solo and Tauma,
(36:57):
and you know, he could, he could stand, He could
stand on his own two feet basically do what he
needs to do right. That this will be a good match,
and of course Jacob is gonna retain. But now I
know they added Drew McIntire police to the match. You know,
I think both of them gonna be mostly finding one another,
you know, because they still got that beef going with
(37:18):
each other. And I think they're gonna still have their
issues too, but I do say this is gonna be
a good match. But Jacob got it though.
Speaker 3 (37:25):
Yeah, yeah, I don't see him.
Speaker 2 (37:27):
Losing exactly, but I would like to see him in
the future faces because of Solo Solo for that title,
and I think it might happen, but I do want
to see it.
Speaker 4 (37:36):
Yeah, I mean there's so many like, there's so many
things that you can do with Jacob as far as
you know, within the bloodline, and I really, I really hope,
even though I'm not you know, I'm not for family squabbles,
but you know, I've seen like a bloodline, a bloodline
civil war happening. That's where you know, the rock comes
into play. So we'll see what that's gonna happen. I
(37:58):
don't know, but then you know, I'm also like I
feel I feel like, you know, where's Wakishi at, Like, yeah,
he's around. Why are y'all showing him? So that's that's
another that's a this is just a side note, but yeah,
I him and Solo that they would have a good run,
but I feel like he would just you run over Solo.
(38:18):
So I feel like there needs to be a built up,
maybe a bill up for that storyline later on, maybe
for next year Mania it's Rock decides not to show
up again.
Speaker 3 (38:26):
So you know, there's there's a there's a lot of
there's a lot of there's a.
Speaker 4 (38:29):
Lot of different with the blood Line in particular, there's
so many different ways you can go.
Speaker 3 (38:33):
It's a whole telenovella. Telenovella in it itself is and
I think that's.
Speaker 2 (38:38):
Gonna be a storyline that's gonna last for ages too.
I don't see them do I don't see them stopping
the blow line that's called.
Speaker 3 (38:43):
Oh my gosh. They have so many kids and then
they have Eva running n XT. They they even they
haven't even touched.
Speaker 4 (38:50):
On that, Like, you know, everybody knows who her father
is and stuff like that, but you haven't seen any
that much interaction with her in the Bloodline, and so
I'm hoping that they don't. I'm hoping they don't leave
it out. But you know, given you know they left
Nami out, anything as possible. But there's so many different
things that they could so many different plays that they
(39:11):
can go with this.
Speaker 2 (39:12):
That's true, But I'm wonder when she's gonna go back
to wrestling. I'm talking about a Ryan.
Speaker 3 (39:16):
I don't I don't think she needs to.
Speaker 4 (39:19):
I mean she she she she started off as wrestling's fine,
but like to be the youngest GM and how she's
evolved since she started.
Speaker 3 (39:29):
True, I don't think she I don't think she needs to.
Speaker 4 (39:34):
I mean, if she does, it might be like a
one off almost like you know, Stephanie, like I'll hop
on you know, this one time because because you don't know,
I got hands, But then I'm gonna go back to
you know, general.
Speaker 3 (39:45):
Manager and stuff like that.
Speaker 4 (39:46):
So and again it's it's I don't want to say
it's up to her because she doesn't make those decisions,
but they they made that decision for a reason. So
and she's doing really and and the reason could have
been a whole netle thing where you know, she's the
rock starter and you know thing, but she's killing it.
So you could say that and if that's the case,
(40:07):
that's fine, But she doesn't suck at it, so you know,
so there's so many different plays.
Speaker 3 (40:13):
You can do with that too.
Speaker 2 (40:14):
That's it because if you think about her great grandma,
the was the wrestler promoter, So is it her blood
to Ron wrestler. Yeah, and I do say she's doing
a great job too, But we just have to see
what they're gonna do with her in the blow aline
in the future.
Speaker 4 (40:27):
Yeah, if they do anything, because you know, again it's
insanity to expect them to do things that you want
them to do.
Speaker 3 (40:34):
So you know, you can you could.
Speaker 4 (40:35):
Play the scenarios in your head and be okay with
that because I have a whole storyline that's been going
on for years that you know, it's kind of tracks
to what what's thus happened. But you know, if they
don't do it, that they don't do it, then that's
what your your your imagination's for, is that at least
she has a name.
Speaker 2 (40:54):
She made a name for herself already. Yeah, a good
thing about it. So now the mash but Dominic Masterio
and Panca for the IC Championship. Now, do you think
Pens is gonna be a new IC champion? You think
dom gonna get away and win and retain.
Speaker 3 (41:10):
I feel like.
Speaker 4 (41:12):
If he loses, that might be the breakup, like that
that splinter that they need to break up Judge Judgment Day,
which I think is gonna happen, Yeah eventually, So I
feel like.
Speaker 3 (41:24):
Him dropping that will be.
Speaker 4 (41:27):
Now what they're gonna do with Judgment Day as far
as all the moving parts and the people in there,
I don't know, So I don't know if they're ready
for that. So I feel like if they're not ready
just yet to pull the trigger, then Dom is gonna retain,
but they are, then Penta's gonna win, and then that's
gonna be the destruction of Judgment Day.
Speaker 2 (41:47):
True, because if you think about fan Bala does a life,
the fact that Dom is champion, Yeah right, you don't
like that, and I think he's gonna interfere in that match.
Speaker 3 (41:56):
Uh huh, Yeah, that's very that's really possible.
Speaker 2 (41:59):
Yeah. And then and if Dom happens to lose, it's
because of me, and and that's when they're gonna start
that rivalry together. And I think this is gonna be
his breaking moment. I'm talking about don to become a
baby face again. And then of course Fian still be
in the bag.
Speaker 3 (42:13):
Ap.
Speaker 2 (42:13):
I hope they do something like that to make it
more interest.
Speaker 4 (42:16):
And all right, no, no, it's definitely, it's definitely definitely possible.
I think that's and so my thing is that that's
the case and Penta does win, that they actually do something,
it's not a because sometimes what they do they put
the they put.
Speaker 3 (42:29):
The belt on somebody.
Speaker 4 (42:32):
In order for somebody else's storyline, and I definitely don't
want that to happen. I don't want Penta to be
the champion just because you need to get to this
other person to be champion. So, you know, I really
hope that that's the case, that you actually do something
with it, and he has a like legitimate, you know,
something to kind of sink your teeth into.
Speaker 3 (42:51):
But yeah, we'll see what happens.
Speaker 2 (42:52):
Yeah, because he's definitely grown on me about Pants and
his brother, right, Phoenix too, both of them have grown
on me. I feel like they're really gonna take They're
pretty much gonna succeed write mystery on now. That's what
I see happening in the way, because it's like, you know,
they got all the skills needed to do something there
to be champion too. Yeah, and then they do want
the way they don't They want the people over too,
(43:15):
So I definitely see them having a very great future
in the bismiss though.
Speaker 3 (43:18):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (43:19):
Yeah, it just depends on how the stories are written,
because it's kind of like one of those things like, yes,
it's very much Luca, but you don't want to pigeonhole
them just because they're Luca. They're Luca wrestlers, So it's
it's kind of how you write the story because that
only has so many legs. And I think Penta, not,
(43:41):
you know, automatically being part of l w O was
a really great move.
Speaker 3 (43:45):
So yeah, we'll we'll, we'll see.
Speaker 4 (43:47):
But I think I think what they're doing now has
been really really good as far as storylines and the
main roster. NXT has been killing it, you know, before
Vince left, but after Vince left, I think all around
the storylines of really good.
Speaker 2 (44:01):
Okay, yeah, they have been, like I said, every since
Trip to Go but everything it's been great though. Yeah,
and damn and then congrats to him from making it
into the Hall of Fame this year, so that was good,
well deserved. Okay, So now I want to talk about
this match between Pat McAfee and Golfer, Like, I mean,
what are your thoughts about that?
Speaker 4 (44:19):
Oh my god, he's gonna get massacred and he's gonna
go off and do football and call it a day.
Speaker 3 (44:25):
Yeah, it's gonna be it's gonna hurt. I hope.
Speaker 4 (44:28):
I actually know it's two things because Pat has been trained,
and he's trained before.
Speaker 3 (44:32):
It's not like, you know, he's a newbie in the ring.
Speaker 4 (44:36):
But it'll either be you know, a swift a swift
death where you know, he just takes out Pat and
choke him out and that's that's it. Or it might
be you know, Pat will hold his own and you know,
take all the beatings and all the things, which might
be great for media wise because if you have Pat
(44:58):
who has this show and the fill with ESPN and all,
it has all those things, and now you have all
this footage of him getting his you know, eyes handed
to him. Yeah, it's gonna go to mainstream media. And
now it's gonna draw more eyes to the product. So
you know, or you know, gun that takes him out
in a quick, one quick movement.
Speaker 3 (45:20):
I don't know. It could go either way, but I
definitely see Gunter taking the w for this.
Speaker 2 (45:26):
Oh yeah, I can see it too. Now Pat gonna
give him a fight. Because one thing got liked was
that Pat McAfee where Pat stood up for Michael Cole
when he was talking mass because he was mad about
losing the title. I liked that he stood up though,
even though he got choked out, but at least he
was able to stand in his ground against him, and
Michael Cole even put his foot down because the general
management is going to be like, you could take the
(45:47):
night off, you could take the night off. He was like, no,
I'm not gonna lett some bully wrong me. It's right
for my job, and he will he is did his job.
So I said, yeah, it is gonna be cool. But
of course Gunthrie is gonna win because who's because who's
the former world heavyweight champion?
Speaker 1 (46:02):
Is that?
Speaker 2 (46:03):
So yeah, yeah, So now we're gonna have some fun now,
So we're gonna play wrestling trivia sy They're gonna ask
some questions and you're just you know, give me, give
me the answer to the question if you know it.
All right, So we're going back to russell Mania twenty
two and two thousand and six.
Speaker 3 (46:24):
Oh, I don't know. I think I'm gonna fail all
these tests. I'm tear. My memory is terrible, but okay,
let's go.
Speaker 2 (46:33):
Okay, So Russell Manya's twenty two, which was saying April
two thousand and six in Chicago, Illinois, my hometown how
did Johnson and defeat Triple Ah to retain a w
w E title?
Speaker 4 (46:44):
Oh God, girl, I'm gonna fail all these I'll let
you know from now, NFL.
Speaker 3 (46:49):
I have no idea. I'm not even gonna guess it.
I don't know. I can't remember.
Speaker 2 (46:53):
He beat them with that stfu tap them out. Triple
A is right there by the rope and to go tap.
Speaker 3 (47:00):
Okay, I'll tell you, yeah, this is this. This is
the trivia trivia I don't even play.
Speaker 4 (47:04):
I don't play regular trivia, so I already know this
is not gonna this is not gonna end.
Speaker 3 (47:07):
This is not gonna end.
Speaker 2 (47:08):
Well, folks, Yeah, I'm gonna help you out though. It's
all good. So now in two thousand and four, which
pay per view, that did the late Great Eddie Garrillroad
defeat brock Lesson to win his first w w E title.
Speaker 3 (47:21):
Okay, I'm just gonna guess say it again. In two
thousand and four, yep.
Speaker 2 (47:28):
Which pay per view did the late Great Eddie Garrill
Road defeat brock Lesson to win his first w w
E title? Summerslim close. It's so, I'm gonna give you
a hand. It's the it's the pay per view that's
before Russellmannia. Oh no, after the Royal Rumble.
Speaker 3 (47:49):
It's like right there, elimination Chamber.
Speaker 2 (47:52):
But see it was different back then.
Speaker 4 (47:54):
Yeah, because this year I was like, wait, because I'm
literally going by, because I have the calendar in my head,
because I actually playing my traveling according to the calendar,
I have no than elimination Chamber because I was in
Toronto for elimination Chamber.
Speaker 3 (48:07):
Yeah, wait, which one?
Speaker 2 (48:08):
Is it? No way out?
Speaker 3 (48:10):
Oh they don't even Oh yeah, I'm not even on
that calendar. I would even guess.
Speaker 2 (48:19):
Yeah, that was that was cool. That was cool. So
now at the Royal Ramble two thousand and six, what
number did Raymond Stereo inswer the rumble? And who did
he eliminate to win the rumble?
Speaker 4 (48:31):
Girl, I'm gonna guess them are twenty six and I
have no idea who wait, who was the person Raymond Stereo?
Speaker 3 (48:38):
Right? Yep, Uh, I don't know. I'm just scance Randy Orton.
Speaker 2 (48:46):
Uh he did yep, you correct on that part. He
did eliminate Randy Orton, but he did come in early
in the rumble. So was it either number one, two
or three?
Speaker 4 (48:56):
Mmm?
Speaker 3 (48:57):
I'd say number one, the last two.
Speaker 2 (49:01):
Yeah, he was number two, the whole thing, all right,
that lowrider. This is where Eddie had just passed. So
I came out with their low rider, a number two
and one, the whole thing, all right. All right, so
yeah that was cool. Okay, So now we're gonna kind
of fast forward. Now we're gonna we're gonna go currently. Now.
So now, which WrestleMania did Sasha Banks and Bianca Belaire headline,
(49:24):
becoming the first black women to headline WrestleMania.
Speaker 3 (49:27):
Oh? Good lord, it was recent? Oh my god. Yeah,
my years are all messed up. Let's see. I'm trying
to go by like it wasn't was it LA? Or
(49:49):
was it the one before l A?
Speaker 1 (49:51):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (49:51):
I want to say this is the one probably before LA.
I know they was in Florida. I know they was
in Florida.
Speaker 4 (49:59):
Oh that that was one where it was like raining
and they have the thunderstorms and stuff like that.
Speaker 2 (50:03):
It could have been I think they had.
Speaker 3 (50:05):
Yeah, I think that was the one. Yeah for LA.
Speaker 4 (50:08):
Yeah, yeah, so that was what are we We're twenty
twenty five? Now, twenty four was Philly, So twenty three
was La. So twenty two. So twenty two was in Florida,
so it'd be.
Speaker 2 (50:21):
Twenty two right close.
Speaker 4 (50:22):
You were so klose, it's twenty three, twenty one, twenty one,
there you go, Russell twenty one a fall.
Speaker 3 (50:31):
Yeah, oh yeah, because they well was that they were
the first.
Speaker 4 (50:36):
Because that's when everything kind of started opening for the pandemic, right, ye,
so they were like the first, like ww they they
had the thunder Dome, but I think they were the
first organization to have like a live event or something
like that. Yeah, and then it rained. It was like
a crazy like rainstorm or like the weather was not
weathering properly for them.
Speaker 2 (50:56):
Yeah, it was, and they had and this is why
was running everything. So he had all of the rustlers
come out and he was thanking everybody for showing up.
And that was when they yep, they frown.
Speaker 3 (51:07):
That's twenty twenty one.
Speaker 2 (51:09):
That was I know, it seemed like it seemed like, wow,
that was a long time ago.
Speaker 3 (51:13):
Yeah, it seems like ten.
Speaker 4 (51:14):
Like the pandemic really like this is this is kind
of off topic, but like a lot of people believe that,
like it was like a splintered The pandemic did like
a splinter like an alternate universe type thing, like because
sometimes the pandemic feels like yesterday, and then sometimes the
pandemic feels like ten years ago.
Speaker 3 (51:32):
It's very weird.
Speaker 2 (51:33):
Yeah, yeah, it was because it's like, we have never
seen a wrestler where you didn't have a laugh audience.
Speaker 3 (51:39):
We never saw that, so eras mmm.
Speaker 2 (51:43):
And then for you to see Russell manniitz Uh in
twenty twenty at that at the training facility, it's kind
of hits you like, yeah, this is different.
Speaker 4 (51:51):
Mm.
Speaker 2 (51:52):
Yeah yeah. So not the last question, how long did
Rama Rains hold the title for before dropping it to
Cody Rose.
Speaker 4 (52:01):
Oh my goodness, Paul just said this, there's like one
thousand and something. I don't remember the last three numbers.
Was like it was over a thousand.
Speaker 2 (52:09):
Correct, you're right, So it was a thousand, three hundred
and sixteen days.
Speaker 1 (52:13):
Damn.
Speaker 2 (52:14):
So he wanted in office of twenty twenty because you know,
he had to take Tom off to protect himself. Came
back in twenty four to call you.
Speaker 4 (52:24):
That was a crazy that that whole like they should
submit and I think they now I think I know, well,
I don't know if they have the closing part of it,
because that at the point up to WrestleMania, when like
Roman was dominating, they released this thing on YouTube where
like they had the whole they played everything out and
I don't know if they finished the story on that
YouTube series, but when they package it and send it
(52:47):
to the oscars, like yo, y'all need to recognize that
this is this is this is magic right here.
Speaker 2 (52:53):
Yeah, it was so And then I got to say
last year's Russell Manni it was emotional and I kind
of liked it better than this She is wrestle because
of course Cody got a chance to finish their story
and he basically did something that his dad was was
really unable to do at the time. Seeing him finally
do that in front of his family, that was cool.
(53:13):
And that's another thing, like man I help also helps
him get that side of to know he after the title,
you know, he got the sign now to beat them.
Speaker 4 (53:22):
Yeah, and then you have Bianca and Jade and Nami
coming down like their part of Beyonce Squad. Yeah, yeah,
on what it depends because even when you look at
the stage in La, like the stage in La was
just very like Hollywood and all the things and get
snoop there and I think every you know, every mania,
(53:43):
regardless if you get a chance to be there or not,
Like every city has this thing that they do. So
whoever does like the set design and all the things, like,
they do a really great job to tailor it towards
the to the city that they're in. So yeah, it
was yeah, it was good that that that Beyonce moment
with the three of them was like awesome, it was.
Speaker 3 (54:04):
Yes.
Speaker 2 (54:05):
Now do you think, in your opinion, Jaye Carr Gill
and Beyonca will ever challenge each other.
Speaker 3 (54:10):
I mean I feel like they have to eventually.
Speaker 2 (54:13):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (54:13):
I feel like they because because by Beyonca saying I
don't want nothing to do with any this. This is
y'all's problem. It's kind of like saying like I'm not
gonna pick sides, but you kind of picked sides. Mm hmm.
So I feel like eventually that will come. But it
also depends on how long Jade stays in w W.
I don't think she's gonna be I don't think she's
(54:34):
gonna be like a tenure. I don't think I don't
think that's gonna be the case. I feel like she's
gonna tap into the movies. I mean, Naomi had a
great performance on Queen the Ring, so you know, Diamie
might toop into the movies too. Also, she mentioned in
the interview that she wants to have kids soon, So
there's like there's a very there's a moment that's happening
there Again it feels like WW don't care about our feelings.
Speaker 3 (54:58):
So there's moments that you know, you think that should.
Speaker 4 (55:01):
Happen else like it's not going to happen again, and
you know those that those could be the moments where
it's like you think Jade's gonna be there for a
long time and now she gets this move herrole and
she never comes back. Or you know, Naomi gets pregnant
and she's like, nah, I'm good, I did my I
did my stint. I want to be a mom full time.
So there's so many different things that could happen. I
mean also Bianca was talking about having kids in her
(55:23):
reality show too, so those are there are so many
different you know, not to say that they can't come back,
because we've seen women do that like Becky, but you
know's it's optional.
Speaker 3 (55:35):
You don't have to come back.
Speaker 4 (55:36):
If you don't want to come back, you can do
so many different you can do so any other things.
And also it's no guarantee that they'll all be back
there at the same time. It's a moment in time
with the three of those women that you almost have
to essentially squeeze as much juice as possible because you
don't know how much time they'll all be together again.
Speaker 2 (55:53):
That's so true. Yeah, that is because at some point,
you know, like with Triush Scratus for answers up briefly example,
you know, she started her career in ninety nine, two
thousand and it was out there doing two thousand and six,
started her family, and you see she makes bradic returns
and stuff like that. So that might be the case
with those three. Yeah, oh yeah, that's true. Though again,
(56:14):
so they don't i mean, even if they don't the
stat to come back and rust, so they don't have
nothing else to prove because they done did everything.
Speaker 4 (56:20):
Oh yeah, there's so many there's so many wins. Especially
in Naomi's column, She's done so much that she won't
even know until later on, Like all the girls she's
inspired and the and the the the thing that she
essentially not just her there are people in front of her,
(56:41):
but she essentially helped to, you know, kind of define
that lane for somebody like a Bianca to come and
then you have somebody like a Jacqueline who I got
to meet in at Wrestle.
Speaker 3 (56:51):
Kan Oh, notice with Vegas or something.
Speaker 4 (56:54):
Jacqueline and Jazz like, they did so much with the
opportunities that they were given within the box that they
were put in, and so it's just kind of like
as the box and the opportunities get bigger, you can't
forget the people that were in front of you that
didn't have the necessarily you know, you know Triple A's
walking you into the building situation at the time, they
didn't have those, but they made what they did what
(57:17):
they could with what they were given.
Speaker 3 (57:18):
And that you know, some people quit, and you know.
Speaker 4 (57:22):
The naomis, the Jazz is, the Jacquelines, they chose not
to quit. They chose to keep on pushing and they
created a legacy for a lot of different women.
Speaker 2 (57:31):
And Jazz used to be in the Hall of Fame too.
I wonder what they waiting on to get her in
the Hall of Fame.
Speaker 3 (57:35):
Well, she's been making appearances with WWE.
Speaker 4 (57:38):
At one point there was there was allegedly because I'm
not I don't quote me on none of this, but
one point there was little something allegedly, but I feel
like it's all been cleared up, so I think it's
only a matter of time.
Speaker 2 (57:50):
Okay, well cool, that's cool, all right, So anything else
you would like to lead to the listeners, Yeah, to
the listeners.
Speaker 3 (57:57):
