We can’t wait to hear from you! Don’t forget to let your voices be heard!!

Spooky season has come and gone and although we didn’t get any tricks we did get a lot of treats. Je’Von Evans and Leon Slater put on an absolute classic against Mr. Iguana and La Parka, defeating them in high flying fashion and even making their new intentions known for tag gold later in the night. Ethan Page defended his North American title against AAA Latina American champion El Hijo De Dr. Wagner Jr. in a day of the dead match that really displayed how great of a champion both competitors are, however “All Ego” had an ace up his sleeve really taking advantage of everything goes to retain his title. In a match Brother Pyro and probably many others disagreed with we saw Zaria defend the Women’s North American Championship on behalf of an injured Sol Ruca against number 1 contender Blake Monroe in a match where Zaria was more concerned about an injured Sol Ruca on the outside rather than the title, this made it easy for Blake to come in, steal the win and the title. Back to back women’s action as Jacy Jayne puts her title up against Tatum Paxley in a short lived one on one battle, in our closing moments we saw Izzie Dame interfere behind the refs back hitting Jayne with the title to help Tatum pick up the win. Tag team titles are on the line next in a ‘Broken Rules match’ anything goes and everything went as all 4 members of Darkstate took their anger to The Broken Hardyz inevitably reclaiming their tag team titles and putting all teams on notice. Main event comes in the form of NXT champion Ricky Saints going head to head with former NXT & TNA champion Trick Williams who was looking to become the first ever 3 time champion. However after a overly dominating and one sided match Ricky was able to swing momentum in his favor at the last second to retain his NXT Championship.

Don’t forget to tune in for NXT Gold rush which we will be covering as  speciality episodes, we can’t wait to see all the titles defended!

(00:09):
Whoa.
What is up guys?
Welcome back to RestingCrossroads.
Always.
I'm one half of dynamic.
Do twisted alongside BrotherPyro.
Hello.

(00:29):
We missed you last week.
Sorry.
I had maybe like a 10 minutepodcast for these guys.
Sorry, I didn't have anybody tobanter with, sir.
Sorry, I, sorry, I didn'trealize that I agreed to
something the same day asHalloween Havoc.
Only'cause I didn't know thedate to Halloween havoc when I

(00:52):
agreed.
'cause this was before theyannounced it, so, sorry.
Sorry.
All right.
Well, I'll try not to let ithappen again.
Let's hope it doesn't let you.
Thank God.
I love you.
So overall, what did you thinkof Halloween havoc?
It was, it was pretty decent.
Uh, nothing super grand asHalloween Havocs passed.

(01:17):
Yeah.
But overall it was not a badshow.
It, it was more of a predictableshow, but pretty much a decently
predictable show.
Yes.
It wasn't overly bad.
Yes.
All right.
Um, do you wanna get us started?
All right.
We kick off the night with tagteam action, the young OG Jovan
Evans teams with the young onein charge, TNAs ex division

(01:43):
champion Leon Slater to take on.
The world of aaa, Mr.
Iguana and La Parker, greatmatch.
Overall, yes, this was a reallyfast paced match.
I think it fit all four men'sstyle.
I love that.
During La Parker's entrance, they're making their entrance

(02:04):
and you've seen Jovan and Leonin the ring.
Just kinda having a little jamsession dancing it out.
It was, it was great.
Mm-hmm.
Loved to see it.
Loved to see that everybody hadfun.
Yes.
That wasn't really a dullmoment.
This was definitely one of thosematches where if you blink, you
missed something big.

(02:25):
I, because again, all four menmm-hmm.
Oh yeah.
Know how to put on a good show.
I think they worked really welltogether.
Mm.
Um, I had a lot of fun watchingthis match, especially once we
got to the involvement of Esca.
I was gonna say, yeah.
That.
The, the iguana puppet wasinvolved a lot.
He was, he was a lot more thanwe've normally seen him in

(02:46):
matches for wwe b uh, I lovethat Booker t was, like, Matt
was trying to say that he hadno, no place being there.
They referenced, uh, judgmentdates from Ballor and his issues
with Laca and, you know.
D dude, I want, I want the dedeto, uh, puppet.

(03:07):
So bad.
You know?
You know what?
Anytime you say, anytime you saydeto, I think of hoodwinked.
Deto, yes.
How do you spell dynamite?
Dite.
Yes.
He's not wrong, but great match.
Beautiful action.
Uh, if you're looking, andagain, this really was a match

(03:28):
just for the sake of having amatch.
Yeah.
But I'm not mad that they threwit in here, right?
No.
Here, uh, if you're looking fora match to just have fun with
like, not looking for anythingserious, not looking for, you
know, nothing major.
Nothing big on the line.
Yeah, nothing.
This is definitely a match.
I recommend everybody go andwatch.
Oh yeah.
It was definitely beautiful.

(03:48):
Uh, picking up the win or JovanEvans and Leon Slater.
Uh, again, great match.
Congrats to them.
Uh, I wouldn't mind seeing themmore as a cohesive unit'cause
we're gonna talk about that abit later.
That's a very fun, that's, they,they make a really good and a
really fun tag team to watch.

(04:09):
We're, we're gonna mentionsomething about that later.
I don't know if you remember inthe show, but we'll get to that.
Yeah.
Um, your grade for this one, Igave it an a again, solid start.
Solid match.
Everybody just was able to fireon all cylinders.
And you can tell, even thoughnot all of them have worked,
worked together a lot, theystill were able to work well as

(04:31):
a unit cohesively.
Yeah.
Yes.
Okay.
Everybody fired on all cylindersand it was just, oh yeah.
It was a beautiful match.
Um, next match up, we have theNorth American Championship on
the line.
Ethan Page defends against ElIho, the Wagner Jr.
Yes.
AAA's Latin American champion.
Uh.

(04:51):
And this is a Day of the Deadmatch.
A day of the dead match, whichessentially means anything goes
yes, I love Booker T.
Um, to a degree he was, uh, hewas very upset that only Ethan
Page's ma title was on the line.
Yep.
Yep.
Uh, he feels like, uh, if Wagnerwas really a, was a real

(05:12):
champion, his title would'vebeen up for grabs as well.
I mean, could, could youdisagree?
No.
No, but that's not what we'redoing here.
No.
Um, listen, listen.
Ethan Page put out the challengeYes.
For his North American title, not the other way around.

(05:33):
No.
LE Hoa Wagner Jr.
Didn't come out demanding atitle match.
Mm-hmm.
Ethan Page put out the offer.
Wagner just wasn't an idiot andaccepted that offer.
Right.
Um, so going into this match, very beautiful, very hard
hitting.
Uh, Ethan Page did really showwhat he, you know, why he wanted

(05:54):
to retain his championship, whathe was, the lengths he was going
to go through to retain thechampionship.
There were, um, garbage binsused multiple times, which baby
Crossroads absolutely lovedwatching.
He was beating up the pillowwhile, you know, the men were
beating up the garbage can.

(06:14):
The stairs were obviously usedon the outside.
I'm surprised we didn't reallysee kind stairs.
Um, I'm surprised as well.
Um, we saw chairs, we saw prettymuch everything else and we saw
tables, um, but we didn't getcalled.
They called for tables a coupletimes, but nothing was really
done about the tables untillater on in the match, which was

(06:34):
kind of shocking.
You think?
Maybe a table spot or two.
But they did use the, um,announcement table and, uh, that
was used for.
For a bit of time, and then yougot to hear Booker T on the
headset.
He is like, Ethan, watch out.
Watch out.
And yeah, Hey, hey.
He was all, he was team all ego,all match.

(06:56):
Oh my goodness, was he, Lord, Idon't think I've ever seen
Booker T like kissing somebody'sass as much as he did with Ethan
TI swear to God, I swear God,Ethan was the one that signed
his paychecks instead ofsomebody else.
That part, that part rightthere.
Her.
Um, but overall beautiful match, beautiful back and forth.

(07:19):
Neither man really had the upperhand.
No, no.
But neither man really willingto give an inch.
They no.
Definitely took the fight toeach other and yeah, I loved
everything about it.
Uh, not really one of thosematches either.
Like when they said ev anythinggoes, like, they got pretty
brutal.
They did, but it wasn't likeexcessively brutal.

(07:41):
Yeah.
Um, there was a moment, uh, thatthey did mention that Ethan Page
was busted open.
You got to see it on the otherside of his, um, face paint and
uh,'cause he did wear day of thedead face paint on half of his
face and to represent theCanadian flag.
Yep.
I was gonna say, can we pointout that half, half his face was

(08:04):
the Canadian fact?
Yeah.
The colors of the Canadian flag.
Um.
Ending moments.
He did throw powder into, um,Dr.
Wagner's face in order to scorethe win.
Hey, they said anything goes.
And you know what?
Anything went.
It wasn't, uh, illegal.

(08:25):
Um, they did mention though, after this match that there is a
potential, I don't know if it'sa hundred percent, but they did
mention that there is apotential that Chelsea Green and
Ethan Page are going for themix.
AAA tag titles now I'm justsaying I could see it working.
I'm just saying I'd love to seeit work.

(08:46):
I could see it working.
They work so well together.
They talk about how, uh, ChelseaGreen is probably somewhere
watching this match.
Probably very proud of herfellow Canadian.
I, I, I wanna see that.
I, I would actually really wannasee that because I think it
would work, especially.

(09:06):
Especially'cause it's irritated,like please.
All right, your grade for thismatch, I gave it a B.
There were bits and pieces wherelike the match seemed to kind of
drag drag a bit.
Yeah.
But overall, I think theyperformed really well.
Mm-hmm.
Put on a good match.
Okay.
Definitely gave us a good storyand overall it was still very
entertaining.
Alright, next match up.

(09:28):
Uh, Blake Monroe.
Challenges for the NXT Women'sNorth American Title.
Zaria defends on behalf ofinjured friend Soka.
I will say, I kind of agree withwhere Booker t was coming from.
Zaria had no business being inthis match.

(09:48):
No, she did not.
Zaria should not have beendefending that title.
She was not the champion?
No, her friend was.
Her friend was injured.
Vic Joseph also talking abouthow Blake Monroe was trying to
take the easy way out and getAva to just hand her the title,
which.
I don't agree with no.
If I agree in the aspect of shedefinitely should have had to

(10:08):
compete for it, but I don'tnecessarily feel like Zaria was
the right woman for the job andespecially the way they, the
manner in which they went aboutit.
I think if they were gonna goabout this, the proper way that
they should have done it isBlake Monroe is the number one
contender Battle Royal.
The scene faces her at Halloweenhavoc.
Either that or if you brought itdown to the last line, like they

(10:32):
kind of did with Zaria.
Have, have the have it beforethe title and the champion gets
it.
Right.
Have it before the vacant title.
Vacant title, yeah.
And then Zaria could always belike, oh, one soul's back.
I'd like to relinquish this twosoul, or Soul beats me for the
title.
Right.
But like, but that's not whatthey decided.

(10:52):
That's not what they decidedlike.
Overall, we got a decent ishmatch.
Can I just point out that I loveBlake dressing up as the bride
of Chucky?
Oh my God.
Was it worked so well?
It really did.
It fits her personality so much.
It's her.
Yeah.
Uh, but overall decent match, itwasn't a very long match.
No, it was not.

(11:13):
I think they said maybe like 10,15 minutes was the match.
So about an average match?
Yeah, a little above average.
Uh, like I said, good match.
Both women did.
Uh, so did work decently, uh,together.
I feel like there was a fewmoments that, you know, were
kind of blocky or kind ofawkward.

(11:34):
I, I would say that one of thereasons for that was so being on
the outside, so definitely soul.
And, and you know what, uh, bothVic and Booker alluded to is
soul being out here more of adistraction than it is a benefit
for, uh, Zaria.
Mm-hmm.
And Loki, I think it really was'cause.

(11:54):
Anytime they went to the outsideinstead of focusing on, you
know, picking the bones of BlakeMonroe doing damage on the
outside.
Mm-hmm.
Zaria was focused on Soka andwhere she was to make sure she
wasn't, she wouldn't get hurt, like props to, uh, you being a
good friend, but at the sametime you have a job here to do.
Yes.

(12:14):
You're supposed to be defendingthis title.
You're not, do not focus on theperson on the outside.
Focus on your opponent.
Mm-hmm.
Blake Monroe took.
Advantage of a lot of thosesituations because she saw you
are not here a hundred percentmentally.
Oh yeah, I'm about to play withyour head.
I'm about to live rent free inthat sum.

(12:36):
And that she did.
Mm-hmm.
And for that, she was also ableto walk out of Halloween havoc.
Your new NXT Women's NorthAmerican Champion.
I wanna point out the, the ballson both.
So Ruca and Zaria.
For the one moment where Zia'sshoulder got dislocated and you
saw there was a yo, sherelocated it and sh and so

(12:59):
shoved her into the ring post topop it back into place.
I, yo, I thought she was turningfor a minute.
Yo, respect, I, that's what Ithought it was going, thought
like, oh, disqualification, youknow, title doesn't change
hands, da, da, da, whatever.
Like her involvement, like inthat moment, especially like,

(13:20):
I'm really thinking ref's gonnacall for the bell ref, let a lot
of go.
Yeah.
Especially in that moment, thefact that, you know, she put her
hands on the Acts competitor, the fact that she did it and
popped her shoulder back intoplace.
Mm-hmm.
That is one badass.
I, I mean, not as badass asMaria Ripley doing it to

(13:42):
herself.
Yes.
It's still, it's still somepretty badass stuff to do.
Yeah, no, I get you.
Like, I'm sorry, I've, I've seensomebody get their shoulder
dislocated.
I've seen the agony.
Like that is not a, a funprocess to deal with.
You've even had your shoulderdislocated.
We are not gonna talk.
We ain't talking about me.

(14:02):
Exactly.
It's not, I know what it's like.
I'm just saying, you know, youknow the pain.
Yes.
And even then, I will never letsomebody try to, no, no.
So respect to you as acompetitor for that.
I think even Zaria at first wasshocked, honestly.
Like no, she did.
You could tell she definitelydidn't know how to respond to

(14:23):
that, but then she's like, getget, get your ass back in the
ring.
Win my title.
Keep my title on board.
But again, those momentarydistractions, that being one of
them, I think it was like rightafter that that Blake really
took the yeah, advantage of theinjury and done advantage of the
fact that you are still selffocused on your friend.
I'm here.
I've had time to recover fromthe BW you just gave me.

(14:46):
Yeah, no.
Guess what?
Now I get to walk outta here.
Tie your title, your friend'stitle in my hand.
Yep.
That's what you get for notpaying enough attention, but
from one woman's match toanother.
Take us into the next.
You gotta give us a grade first.
Uh, I gave it a B or I, I'msorry.
I gave it a C.
Again, I feel like they didn'treally work as well together as

(15:09):
they could have, and I don'tthink that they.
We got enough time.
Okay.
So like you say, it was about a10, 15 minute match, but I feel
like it was a lot shorter.
Like, I, I don't, I don't know,just, I, I, I could be wrong in
the timing going back andwatching, but at 10 minutes
going back and watching, I don'tfeel like we hit that like 10,
15 minute mark.
It could even be a seven minutematch, but it wa I can

(15:30):
definitely tell you it wasn't afive minute match.
Okay.
Um, so jumping into the nextone.
We have NXT, women's Title JCJane Takes on Tatum Pley, and we
just spoke about lackingchemistry.
Is it just me or was this, was,was this another match of

(15:50):
lacking chemistry?
Honestly, to me, they did.
They, they didn't click welluntil.
Almost the very end.
I say, no, it did take'em aminute to, it took them a very
long minute to find theirbearings mm-hmm.
As competitors there.
Um, but with that being said, Ithink this is also the first

(16:12):
time they've really shared aring together.
I mean, I.
Yeah, I, I could say that itmight be the first time, like
aside from like the IronSurvivor matches, if they were
ever in it together.
I can't remember off the top ofmy head.
I don't remember either.
But like sometimes it does taketime to build that chemistry,
which is, uh, again, that desireof Lake Monroe match.

(16:34):
We might need to see it a fewtimes for, they may need to go
at it a couple times to reallybuild well.
Build in together, you know?
Mm-hmm.
And we can say the same thingabout Tatum and JCJ right now.
Yep.
Um, so starting off the match, obviously Tatum comes out with
the culls.
Um, I keep wanting you to callthem the Cullins instead of the

(16:55):
culling.
This isn't, this isn't Twilight.
You know what their name is thatdamn similar.
So excuse me, it doesn'tTwilight.
Excuse me.
Um, and we ain't talking aboutvampires pretending to be
teenagers right now.
We ain't talking about sparklyshit either.
Huh, who said that?
Um, and obviously J Cjn hadfatal influence both very early

(17:19):
on.
I would say both teams reallybecame a factor, not only on the
outside, but on the inside ofthis ring, um, with distractions
and making sure that the otherstook their eyes off the ball.
There was a moment though that.
Both teams were ejected fromringside.
Yes.
Which was great on rep say, tonot say, not only call for one,

(17:39):
but to call for both.
I love the, uh, you know IzzyDame and I think Felon Henley
initially got, got into it.
Yes.
And then the, uh, Sean Spearsand I don't remember the other
guy's name.
I don't either got involved.
And then who is the new chickthat's with Fatal Influence?
Uh, that replaced Jasmine?
She bad mood, by the way.

(17:59):
She's the girl that was supposedto go for the, um, speed
championship when Jada Parkertook over, uh, something.
Laney Reed.
There we go.
Uh, her, you know, hitting thatcross body on everybody.
Yeah.
Beautiful.
Beautiful.
Yeah, I think it was, uh, like Isaid, I think it was a nice call
in the ref's favor to just ejecteverybody, everybody.

(18:21):
He looked at the cull.
Ejected them.
Fatal influence, really thoughtthey had it.
And he looked at'em like, Idon't know what you're laughing
for.
Uh,'cause y'all are gone to, um,I'll go back.
That really gave both of them, both these women, you know, the,
the ability to do this on theirown.
Uh, once it, once it gotone-on-one, I think the

(18:44):
chemistry came up that better.
I think it, the match gelled alot.
Better'cause there was so muchgoing on on the outside.
Yeah.
That it was hard to focus onthe, the match.
Yeah.
People you were supposed to befocused on.
Yeah.
Um, absolutely beautiful backand forth.
Neither woman really had anupper hand in this match and
anything JC had going, me goingtowards Tatum.

(19:08):
Tatum had an answer for Yes.
Um, there was a lot of twocounts.
There was a lot of, you know.
Uh, Vic Joseph, like maneuvers.
Vic Joseph said something oneabout being happy that every
after, uh, everybody had gotteninjected.
Yeah.
He looked at how Tatumapproached this match.
Yeah.
And he, he made a comment ofshe's approaching this match.

(19:32):
Like this is gonna be like, thismight be the only one she gets.
Yep.
And personally I think he's notwrong.
I think every competitor shouldreally approach title matches
this way.
'cause like.
You don't, you're not justhanded title matches.
They don't come, you know, adime a dozen.
They don't get, just get handedto you unless you're Drew

(19:52):
McIntyre or Rear Ripley.
Uh, well, they don't reallylike, for the most part, like
it's far and few in between thatyou get a shot at a title.
Yeah.
So like, I think the sense ofurgency or the sense of like, I
really gotta get this done.
I really want this.
Yes.
Like approaching it like, thismight be the only chance you
have.
Or the last chance you have atthis title is a really solid and

(20:16):
a good approach for everycompetitor to have.
I agree.
I wholeheartedly agree to that.
Um, but like I said, beautifulback and forth, everybody had an
answer for everything.
Closing moments of this match,uh, we did see the cu, the
callings and fatal influence allcome out together.
Um, fatal influence was jumpingon the backs of the men.

(20:39):
For the callings, trying toprevent them from going to the
ring and essentially helpingout.
Tatum.
The ref does get distracted fora moment.
On the other side of the ring, however, we see Izzy Dame grab
the title.
I wanna know what her intent waswith that belt.
We get in there, she just, because it looks like she into
the ring.
She jumps into the ring andinitially she's eyeing up Tatum.

(21:01):
Oh, I'm saying it looks like shewas ready to Clobber Tatum.
She looks like she's, you know, obviously going for Tatum.
She does not.
However, Tatum Ducks and upcomes jc.
She hits JC with the title andleaves the ring after which
Tatum picks up the win.
So you're new NXT Women'sChampion and congratulations to

(21:25):
Tatum Axley.
How does this give JC claim fora complete rematch?
No.
No.
Yes, but no.
Okay.
Your ex, what?
Your explanation.
I'm gonna, let me explain.
Yeah.
For the longest time, RA aschampion and how she got tell
the title Yeah.
Has been used.
The numbers game.

(21:45):
Oh yeah.
Her game got used against her.
Yeah.
That same that there's a sayingin the sport of basketball, you
live by the three, you die bythe three.
Okay.
She lived by the numbers game.
She died by the numbers game.
Okay.
You literally, every, everytrick you have used to get and

(22:07):
maintain that title reignmm-hmm.
Is exactly what was used againstyou.
You can't be, you can't be madthat this is now, this is how
you lost the title, but at thesame time, this coming after
both teams have been objected.
Yeah.
This should have beenone-on-one.
Mm-hmm.
I, can I with their reference?

(22:28):
Yes.
I can see her having a claim.
Some kind of call, some kind ofclaim.
If I am, uh, Eva, Ava.
Ava, Ava.
I am barring everybody fromringside, making it a steel cage
match something where one-on-onenobody can get in, nobody can
get out.
Like y'all are gonna duke it outand y'all are gonna make sure

(22:49):
that this is clear between thetwo of y'all.
Yep.
I'd still put Tatum over though.
I, I agree.
Um.
Oh dude, I about cried.
Oh, I don't doubt it.
You have been pushing for Tatumsince she became Tatum So long.
Um, after this match though, onthe following Tuesday, we did
get to see a celebration forTatum, um, in which she iterated

(23:12):
to the fact that at Halloweenhavoc we did not have a, a wheel
of terror.
She did bring it back and spunthe wheel of terror.
To find out her first opponent.
That would've been that Tuesdaynight.
She spun the wheel and it landedon a nun other than Miss Lola
Vice.
They did end up having thematch, however, it was ended

(23:35):
fairly quickly.
Oh, like I didn't get to watch,uh, on xd.
I, I did not.
But this is from what I caught.
Um, it did end fairly quick withthe interjection of Fatal and
floor.
Yeah.
So, you know, this isn't gonna, this isn't gonna end anytime
soon.
Oh, no, no.
They got a whole storylinewrapped up with this, I swear to

(23:57):
God.
Oh yeah.
There's, they're, they're,they're running it back at least
one more time.
Uh, your grade for this match?
Uh, I gave it a b, the rightperson went over.
Okay.
Um, I do feel like there wassome point in the match where
things just didn't gel or clickor move the way that they should
have, and that's no fault oftheir own.
Again, this is a, this really, the Rosie Pearl wrestling really

(24:19):
is a trial and error kind ofthing.
Oh, yeah.
You, you know, you put twopeople in the ring, you gotta
figure out what works and howthey work, what and how they
work together.
Agreed.
So you gotta, you might have totry it a couple times.
Oh yeah, definitely.
Before you finally get somethingthat clicks.
All right.
Next match.
Uh, NXT tag titles are on theline.

(24:43):
In a broken rules match, brotherNero broken.
Matt Hardy defended their titlesagainst Dark State, and I would
love to say that it was onlysuch and such member, but really
it was all four of them.
Oh yeah, definitely.
And in this rule, this kind ofmatch there real, this is the

(25:04):
definition of anything goes.
Yep.
So it really didn't matter.
It didn't really matter whichtwo participated.
No.
Okay.
Before you get started on thematch, can we talk about the
entrance for the broken, MattHardy and Brother Nero?
Um, the, what about itspecifically?
Would you like to, to bring upthe homage to Ray Wyatt.
Oh, I noticed that he had the,he not only had had the, the

(25:27):
face, Jeff face paint, but ifyou remember when they were, um,
the Broken Worlds, the Leader ofWorlds, the leader of worlds,
how they would sit in the ringfor their entrance.
Yes.
Matt Hardy above him and hisarms out.
You notice that Brother Niro didit for a bit, but then went into
the Hardy sign and put his handsin a prayer motion, which was

(25:50):
absolutely beautiful to see.
I love that.
Even still now, sometime later, people are still making the
little bits and pieces toWyndham it.
It just makes me so happy, especially'cause literally right
after I ended up seeing a.
Video of the Wyatt six, going toOrlando and seeing Eric Rowan be

(26:15):
so happy that he was cryingalongside, I wanna say it was
the person that produces, uh,Wyndham's masks.
Okay.
Um, yeah, I didn't get to seethat, but still just being able
to see how they interacted withit and how much it meant to both
of them.
It was like, oh my God.

(26:35):
Was like my, my heart was, wasbreaking for them.
'cause that's all that hewanted.
And now he gets to see it, buthe doesn't get to see it in
person with his brothers.
You know, it, it's kind of sad.
But, um, anyways, enough aboutthe sappy side stuff.
Well, I was gonna say, let'stake it too emotional.
Uh, let's talk about how, let'stalk about this match.

(26:58):
This match and how it reallywas.
From the word go.
Yeah.
Like the minute that bell ring,it was chaos.
Like there were, they left, nostone left unturned.
They left nothing in theimagination.

(27:19):
They just said at a go.
Yep.
Oh.
Uh, again, I love the, uh, thedivide and conquer time.
Yes.
Um, was really, which we got tosee a lot in the, yeah, it was
really smart because the Hardeesknew they weren't gonna have a
chance with, without format.
Oh no.
So what did they do?
They immediately tried to knockout, I think it was, uh, sugar,

(27:42):
whatever, the fudge.
I don't remember.
I, I, I remember Booker tcalling him sugar.
Okay, well, sugar and, uh, andwhat, what was his name?
What was his name?
Name?
Cutler James.
Okay.
Uh, I know he definitely took,he got taken out.
Yeah, they, they were, they gottaken out at, uh, pretty early

(28:03):
in the match.
You take them out now you, nowit's two on two.
Yeah.
Now you have a slightly morefavored man, uh, opportunity at
walking away with your titles,right?
Uh, again, all four men.
Brutal.
This is what, look, I wannaregain the titles I shouldn't
have lost.
'cause I shouldn't have.
I wanna retain these titlesbecause we feel like we can.

(28:24):
You know, bring them up inprestige, which I don't entirely
disagree with.
Mm-hmm.
I still feel it shouldn't havecome at the expense of dark
state, especially with thembeing such a new and young,
fresh tea.
Agreed.
But you know what?
All four men came in.
There is just so much to talkabout in this match that trying

(28:46):
to pinpoint any one moment Yeah.
Would be extremely, extremelydifficult.
I will say the fact that.
We had, I think it was, ah, Ican't remember the, the, the
guys in Dark State's name.
I can't either.
Uh uh But there was a moment wewent where Jeff was going.
Swanton?
Yes.
I don't remember who it was thatwas on the table.

(29:08):
I don't remember what was, Ithink it was the guy with the o
on his trunks.
Okay.
I, I don't remember what hisname is, but as he went, uh, as
he went, as Jeff went toSwanton, his opponent rolled off
the table.
I think it was Osirus.
So it's Dion Le Lennox OsirusGriffin.
Cutler James Qua Sugars.

(29:28):
Okay.
That's why.
Okay.
You know what, that's why Sugarclicked in my head.
But yeah.
Cutler, and it was Osirus thathe, he did, but yeah, Cutler and
Saan were taken out.
We're taking out relativelyearly.
Mm-hmm.
Um, but yeah, I wanna say it wasOsirus.
Uh, was set up for the swanton.
He's able to roll off the table.

(29:50):
Yes.
Jeff went through two tablesright then and there, kind of
really giving drug state theupper hand, uh, it being two on
one.
Uh, Cutler and Saquon were ableto recover.
They got involved again andwalking out of Halloween havoc

(30:12):
two time NXT.
TAG team champions.
It is dark state.
It, uh, I loved this match.
It was definitely for thehardcore fan.
Um, if you're a fan of like ECWback in the day, the hardcore
match, the extreme style, yeah.
This is definitely a match youwant to watch.

(30:33):
This is definitely a match youlook into.
Um, now we go post match.
Yes.
They cut backstage.
Leon and Jevon are wa aretalking amongst each other, you
know?
Yep.
They just watched yo feel badthat like, I'm mad that Dar
State is two time champions.

(30:53):
Oh, Leon's like looks at Jevon.
Do you think we should havehelped him?
Yes, but they said they wantedto go at it alone, so we're
gonna respect the OGs.
Yeah, but we still gotta get ourlick back.
He's like, yeah, from Bound forGlory.
Like I was thinking the samething.
He is like, what do you say?
We go after them tag titles.
I'd love Leon looked at him, waslike, let me wrap up some stuff.

(31:16):
I gotta finish.
It's taking care of his exdivision champion.
But as soon as I can lock inwith you, I've got you Leon and
Joon as Tag.
As a tag.
Full-time tag team is gonna beso much fun to watch.
Not only that, but I say givethem a long rein.

(31:36):
Oh, and if you actually do pullthe trigger on putting the title
on them, yo, y'all just createdsomething.
I don't think they're even awareof what it could be.
Yeah, definitely.
They're, I don't think they'reaware of how big it could be,
man.
Oh yeah.
Um, you're great for this match.
What was it?

(31:57):
Uh, I gave it, I gave it a bagain, there were some, some
moments that I feel could havebeen chopped out a lot better.
Yeah.
But overall, great match.
We got a full story out of it.
I'm okay if you know the Hardys.
Don't try to invoke a rematch,by the way.
Please don't.
But also, I don't know, give mean eight men tag match.

(32:19):
Dark state.
You gave me dark state.
You give me the Hardy's, Leonand Jevon.
Agreed.
I feel like it'd be a very funmatch.
All right.
Um, main Event is our NXT, worldTitle Ricky Saints.
Defends against Trick Williams.
Lord Trick, you are turning intoDrew McIntyre.

(32:41):
That's anytime you lose a title, you gotta whine about getting a
title.
You need to stop.
You are not Carmelo Hayes.
So now you wanna try to be DrewMcIntyre and it's just not gonna
work.
It it agree with me.
It's just not gonna work.
It.
I mean, I mean he got, he gotthe title match, but it, um.

(33:05):
You hear how much we ramp onDrew McIntyre for getting title
match if for title match.
We, we started doing the samething with r Ripley.
And, uh, it's time to have thatsame energy with, uh, Williams.
True Williams Lord have mercy.
Because, you know what, if itwasn't him being TNA champion,
it was, we're gonna, we're gonnago back before his TNA title,

(33:26):
right?
Yeah.
How many times he had a shot atthe uh, N XT title?
I believe when I was looking atthe statistics.
When they had brought, um, whenhe had came out, they were
talking that this is his 15thtitle match.
11 of them was him d uh, I thinkit, it was like 11 defending or

(33:53):
something like that.
11 of them were like maineventing, something like that.
Um, I'd have to go back anddouble check and.
Right.
Make sure I'm a hundred percentcorrect, but something along
those lines where it was likeonly so many.
Was he the challenger for otherones?
He was defending the title.
Okay.
So, but point is he's been inthe title picture for longer a

(34:14):
lot for the la and since he and,uh, mellow broke up.
Oh yeah, definitely.
Um, so this badge, very heavyhitting every, both men had an
answer for everything.
Mm-hmm.
I mean, it was pretty heavy.
Is that really how you saw it?
I saw it heavy hitting ontrick's.
Part, I was gonna say trickdominated like 80% of this

(34:36):
match.
Ricky Saints never really wasable to get out the gate.
He never found his foot.
He never really found hisfooting.
He really did.
Then again, they're sloppytogether.
He didn't really get to find hisbearing like trick dominated.
Most of this match.
Like, I guess I just rememberthe more ending part, closing

(34:58):
moments, almost all of thismatch was favored trick Vic
Joseph even noticed like, andBooker t noted like, yeah, this
has been more super lopsidedtrick Williams has been in
control almost the entire top.
It was a very heavy hittingmatch though.
Like on trick's part, it wasvery good dude.

(35:19):
He, he wanted, well, hecontrolled, he had an answer for
everything.
He controlled the pace of thematch.
He controlled his opponent.
Like a, like a traditional bigman, and that's not something
I'm used to seeing from him.
No, but I think it's more of hisheel persona.
Like it was, well even then, like his heel persona has been

(35:40):
super flashy.
Super.
I'm gonna show off.
This was more, this was lessthat and more coordinated, more
planned out, structured he tookto this match.
Mm-hmm.
Like Oma, I think he controlledthe match much like Oba Femme

(36:05):
Prime Big show.
Well, you think, like you thinkabout it, you think these
traditional big men, big men, that's the direction he went.
Not his usual.
I'm going to show off a metrictone of athleticism.
Well, you know, think about it.
He just lost his title.

(36:26):
What was, what was working inthat match being flashy that
would work in this match.
Let's talk about the tools thatbrought him to the dance,
though.
That flashy persona Oh yeah,definitely.
Is what got him to previousworld, uh, type Hyatt Reigns as
an XT champion.
That flashy persona Oh yeah.
Is what led him to being TNAworld champion.

(36:50):
But I think what he, what hekind of went in as mentality
wise was.
Okay, this may have worked inthe past, but now let's switch
it up.
Let's try something new becauseI did lose my title here.
I was say, because clearly whereclearly what worked in the past
wasn't working anymore, right.
That's more or less where I wasgoing.
And then when you look at ittoo, I've noticed something and

(37:10):
you can completely disagree withme'cause you know these might
have bit better than I do.
Um, but Mike Santana and RickyStarks kind of have more or less
of the same in ring style.
Am I wrong?
You are though.
Am I?
Uh, again, correct me if I'mwrong with Saints being the
smaller guy, he's definitelyreliant more on his speed

(37:34):
factor, whereas Mike Santana'sgot the brawler mentality, the
fighter mentality, the.
The Eddie Kingston approach, butI'm in your face.
Mm-hmm.
What are you gonna do about it?
However, I did notice that inhis match against trick, he was
using speed.
Mike was using more speed tocounteract trick with his

(37:55):
athleticism and his big guy.
And that's more of the, I nowhave to figure, I have to come
up with a plan that's gonnathrow you off.
Okay.
Because think about it, they've,this is now, I think the second
time they've gone at it.
Granted, the first time Santawas, Mike Santana was involved.
It was a triple threat match.

(38:16):
Yes.
Involving Joe Hendrick.
Yeah.
Had to, but again, your, I'm inyour face mentality.
Yeah.
Can only take you so far.
This is a, now I gotta add a fewmore tricks.
Okay.
To really throw you off now thatit's one-on-one.
Mm-hmm.

(38:36):
Maybe I alter, I alter the, uh,recipe just a bit.
He or the equation Just a smidgehere.
Okay.
To help me long term.
I mean, I remember, you know,um, Santana Ortiz, but we didn't
really watch, I was gonna say,but let's be real saints.
He's more prone to like, youknow, to take you to the ground

(38:59):
or, you know, hit the, the, the,the high flying wounds.
Yeah.
Santana's never.
Really gonna come off the toprow.
Oh no.
But I like looking at Santanafrom now and seeing how Ricky
is, you know, from the last timethat I had seen Santana, their
moves did seem kind of similarto me.
And again, like I said, correctme if I'm wrong, which you

(39:21):
obviously did.
'cause I'm not as familiar withMike Santana as I'd like to.
No.
Um, I will say, but upon seeinghim, you know, the last time,
and Ricky saying this time theirmoves were kind of similar, you
were No, I was gonna say, uh,like, all right.
Yeah.
I guess like in some degrees, yes, but like I said, when you

(39:43):
really break down the componentsof their fight style, their in
ring style, they are, they'reextremely different.
You can see.
Okay.
You notice the differences.
Okay.
Um, closing moments of thismatch.
Obviously a majority of it wasdominated by Tur Williams.
Ricky Saints was able to pick upspeed and momentum in his favor,

(40:07):
continuing his current reign asworld champion.
Um, your grade for this one?
A to C.
C.
Okay.
And reasoning being?
Uh, I just felt like one withhow lopsided it was.
Didn't really get to see themtell a story or really.

(40:27):
See how they, how well theycould click together.
Yeah.
Because they wrote it out to,you know, be favored trick the
majority of the time.
Plus, I feel like the, the endof the match was kind of rushed.
Yeah, I agree too.
But again, we've even said itlike a lot of the times with our
main event matches, it could bebecause of timing, because they

(40:50):
didn't want something to runover, yada, yada.
And unfortunately, we as thefans.
We notice that type of thing ifyou do like the analytics like
we do.
Yeah.
And we, we truly do look heavyinto it.
Yeah, definitely.
Um, with that being said, thatdoes conclude Halloween havoc.
That does, we come back next atthe end of this month.
Yeah.
For Survivor Series war games.

(41:12):
Other than that, uh, brotherPower and I have discussed that
we will be covering NXTs GoldRush.
Which is a specialized two weekepisode that they are doing.
This will be every single titlefrom NXT triple A and TNA on the
line during NX T's televisiontimes.

(41:34):
I'm okay with this.
I'm okay with this a lot.
Oh yeah.
Um, so we will be watching onWednesday as unfortunately we're
not able to live on Tuesday, butwe will be covering it the
weekend of, for both weeks.
Yeah.
So.
With that being said, were wegonna do full gear or did we
deem that that wasn't gonna beone of the big ones that we

(41:56):
cover for a EW?
I don't believe that was a bigone.
That we Okay, well then Yep.
It'll be survive.
It'll be um, gold rush, goldrush.
Before we get into survivor's.
Yes.
I'm talking like big old paperto your time.
Yeah.
Then we'll get, it'll beSurvivor series.
Yes.
Thanksgiving, wake God.
Yep.
We are looking so forward tothat as everything is starting

(42:16):
to build up for, we do haveSaturday night's main event
going on currently, but as youguys know, we do not cover that.
However, we will be covering theone December 13th for John and
his last match.
I feel like we owe to him.
Oh, definitely.
And his legendary career.
Oh, definitely.
Um, but all right guys, you guyshave a good rest of your week

(42:38):
and we'll talk to you soonlater.
Okay.
