NXT Battleground opens with a rematch only what once was the champion is now the challenger, Sol Ruca defends her NXT North American Women's championship against Kelani Jordan; Sol showing us in a decent match why she isn't ready to let go of the gold anytime soon. What does this mean next for Kelani? 6 man tag team actions comes our way next as the tag champions Hank & Tank team with Josh Briggs as he takes on his former tag team partner Brooks Jensen along with Sean Spears and Niko Vance of The Cullings. Once family now bitter rivals Tony D'Angelo takes on Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo in a match so equal it was as though they are battling themselves, in the end we see Luca Crusifino come out causing Tony to get distracted giving Stacks the win. Following that match we have NXT Women's champion Stephanie Vaquer successfully defending against Jordynne Grace. NXT Champion Oba Femi takes on his toughest challenge to date in Myles Borne, Myles definitely surprising all of us here at Wrestling Crossroads. The Main event showed TNA Champion Joe Hendry going up against NXT's Trick Williams where Trick clearly showing a bit of his heel side ended up winning the title off of Joe.
