In this episode I’ll be at Discover Austin visiting with Director Nancy Schnable along with Katie Carter and Emily Hovland from Austin High School. We’ll learn all about the exciting plans that are in place for Homecoming Week, September 15th - 19th.
Then I visit with Luke Reese at the J. C. Hormel Nature Center. We’ll talk about honey harvest weekend, the Hormel Nature Center 8k and visit a little bit more about the Monarch butterfly migration.
And I sit down with Austin School Superintendent Dr. Joey Page. With a 66.7 million dollar referendum on the ballot on November 4th we talk about why this referendum is necessary for the District and what the money will be used for.
