About Leona Godin
Dr. M. Leona Godin is the author of There Plant Eyes: A Personal and Cultural History of Blindness(Pantheon Books, 2021), which The New Yorker called a “thought-provoking mixture of criticism, memoir, and advocacy.” Leona Godin writes fiction, nonfiction, and poetry, and has been published in many different venues. Several of her recent publications have focused on advocacy for people who are blind.
Leona Godin has a most interesting project underway as the founder of Aromatica Poetica, an arts and culture laboratory for the advancement of smell and taste. And she creates scented/tactile performance journeys.
