Welcome back to the "Wrong To Strong" 2-Minute Devotionals. This week Sister Lily Fonseca references Psalm 34:8, which encourages us to trust in the Lord. She shares a personal anecdote about her childhood pastor's humorous experience with Mexican food to illustrate that people don't know what they're missing until they try it. Lily relates this to David's message in Psalm 34 about experiencing and trusting in God's goodness, even during difficult times. She urges us to place our trust in God, promising that those who do will be blessed and find refuge in Him.

Welcome to the wrong too strong, two minute devotional each week.
We're blessed to have a newguest share a powerful scripture
and a word of encouragement toignite your spirit and fuel your
journey of faith.
Let these messages inspire andstrengthen you as you grow
closer to God and embrace thetransformation he has for you.

(00:32):
Stay strong, keep the faith andlet's grow together.
We're on a mission from God fromdarkness to light.
And from Wrong To Strong.
My name is Lily fca and this isthe wrong, too strong two Minute
Devotional.
Today's scripture comes fromPsalm 34, 8 oh, taste and see

(00:54):
that the Lord is good, blessesthe man who trust in him.
This reminds me of my childhoodpasture that was from Atlanta,
American Country of Bolivia, andhe would speak of a time that he
was invited.
By a sister in Christ have aMexican dinner that he thought
would put his palate on fire.

(01:15):
So the day came, he had dinnerand he asked the sister in
Christ, where is this food thatI so feared?
And she said, you already havehad it.
And the whole time he wasscared.
He feared that it would.
Just cause some kind ofindigestion or unwanted feeling.

(01:35):
So his testimony was you don'tknow what you're missing out on
until you have tried it.
Same thing goes here with David.
David in Psalm 34 is encouragingus to taste the Lord and know
that he is good when we takerefuge in him, when we trust in
him.
David was fleeing Saul.

(01:56):
During this time, Anne tookrefuge with the Philistines and
so he put his trust in God.
He didn't put it in in if therewas any soldiers or bodyguards
at that time.
He solely put it in the Lord andthe Lord rescued him and the
Lord I.
Gave him refuge.
And the same thing I canencourage you today is that,

(02:18):
have you tried the Lord?
Have you seen his goodness?
Now, it doesn't mean that we'renot gonna go through trials and
tribulation.
It doesn't mean that we can'thave happiness through the fears
and through the pain and throughthe troubles.
It means that when we allowourselves to taste the goodness
of God and we put our trust inhim, that.

(02:40):
He will prevail, he will help usovercome whatever it is that we
are going through in life.
So I encourage you, have youtried God?
Have you tried Jesus?
Trust in him.
Put your trust in him becauseagain, here the promises is that
Blessed is the one that takesrefuge in him.

(03:02):
I am Lily fca and this is Wrongto strong.
