Thanks for joining in for another episode of the "Wrong To Strong" 2-Minute Devotionals. This week Michael Crosby, currently a student from The Moody Bible Institute reflects on Romans 8:1, which states, "There is now therefore no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus." Michael shares a personal story about feeling burdened with shame and guilt when he first came to the Lord but explains how this verse and his faith have liberated him from those feelings. He emphasizes the transformation he experienced, now feeling bold and confident in his faith, encouraging us all to find similar freedom and love in Jesus Christ.

And from Wrong To Strong.
Hello, my name is Michael andthis is the wrong to strong two
minute devotional.
The verse I would like to coveris in the book of Romans chapter

(00:57):
8:1, and that verse goes likethis.
There is now therefore nocondemnation for those who are
in Christ Jesus.
And I love this verse.
When I read this verse, what itreminds me of is when I first
came to the Lord.
When I walked into church forthe very first time, I walked in

(01:17):
with a heavy burden on myshoulders, with my head held
low, and I stared at the ground.
My eyes were full of shame andguilt, but now when I read this
verse with the spirit of Godwithin me, what it tells me is
this.
Now there is no more shamebecause of Jesus.

(01:41):
I can walk in boldness and inconfidence of what my Lord and
Savior did for me, and I praythat this verse affects you as,
as deeply as it has affected me.
It has shown me that a, I am nolonger a slave to fear, and I'm
no longer a slave to my ownshame.

(02:03):
I am free in the love andfreedom of Jesus Christ I am
Michael and I am wrong tostrong.
