History made and legacies have been cemented.  On the biggest stage in AAA we saw great action and even more memorable moments.  Opening up the show we saw the Copa Bardahl battle royal with a slight rule change to the surprise of many. We saw notable names like AAA/lucha royalty and legend La Parka as well as hot shots like Laredo kid and Aerostar. We also saw a man small in stature but large in name Microman. And with the inclusion of WWE talent this match made for great entertainment. With a surprise debut Omos emerged and showcased dominance picking up the win.  How do we follow up such a great start? Easy we go into a match with a history that spans decades and generation as DR. Wagner jr  watched his son battle his old rival Mesias for the Latin American title. Having so much more than the title on the line Hijo de DR. Wagner jr was able to end the night victorious. The night rolls with 6-person mixed tag action in probably one of the most fun matches of the event. Judgement Day's  Finn Balor debuted a new friend in Demonito to combat Mr. Iguana and La Yeska. After some interference on the outside from both Roxanne Perez and La Hiedra the trio of Mr. Iguana, Hamburdesa and Lola Vice fell short of the win. Tag team glory and supremacy are at stake with Los Garza defending the titles against Psycho Clown and Pagano. After a vicious street fight we congratulate our new champs as the rest of Psycho Circus come to celebrate. Konnan takes is rightful place in hall of fame forever being recognized and immortalized for his contributions to not only the world of Lucha Libre but pro wrestling as whole, congratulations and thank you. The women showed up and showed in three way battle to labeled Reina de Reinas champion as Faby Apache, Flammer and WWE's Natalya left all on the line to claim the gold.  Closing us out El Hijo de Vikingo Jr. was able to best three of WWE's competitors in Dragon Lee, intercontinental champ "Dirty" Dom Mysterio and El Grande Americano. This after interference from LWO, Judgement day and what Desario has labled the Disciples of Americano along with a small assist from AJ Styles helping El Hijo de Vikingo Jr. to retain his championship. We hope you all enjoyed the show as much as we did thank you for listening in!

(00:22):
What's up y'all?
It is Brother Pyro back withDaario.
Hello uh, here for wrestlingCrossroads Land in Sea and our
triple A Triple Mania recap.
We hope you guys enjoyed thisshow.
Hope you found something thatyou, you know, that stuck to

(00:45):
you.
Character match whatever moment,uh, something that you
thoroughly enjoyed, especiallyif you are a newer fan to the
Lucha style.
And with that being said toSorio, why don't you take us
into what was match number one?
So kinda like what I thought wehad match number one being the,

(01:07):
uh, Copa Baral motor oil cupmatch.
I mean, it turned out to be areal big banger and they changed
a couple of things up with ruleswise because it was originally
just supposed to be pitfalls, which was done in the past.
Now They said at the beginning,oh, pitfall submission.
And over the top row.
See, and it's funny'cause uh,twisted was watching with me
'cause she was, I dunno how shecame, she got back in time to

(01:30):
start the show with me.
And we're sitting there andwe're talking about like, wait,
this is what we were the rulesto be.
I don't like that.
This is how you're doing it.
Mm-hmm.
Like, and I think I called youand you were telling me you
were, you were a littledisappointed.
Displeased disappointed.
Yeah.
I was a little disappointed.
Disappointed with how that allwent down.
Because I understand WW wants toput their stamp on things and

(01:53):
they want to try to make butsome sort simplify things.
But again, if it's not broke, don't fix it.
I agree.
And so that little added aspectonto it doesn't, didn't really
sit too well with me.
I mean, in the case of oneelimination, I can understand
completely why they did it, butoverall, I'm just wishing we'll
get to that.
Uh, elimination.
Oh yeah, we're gonna get to thatone because um, that was so

(02:15):
funny.
If any moments, I would've goneviral.
That Battle Royal was not theone I was picturing going viral.
Oh yeah.
On social media.
But let's kick into, uh, whatexactly happened here?
Uh, number one, entrance comingout, the returning the man, the
myth, the legend.
Laca.
I mean, anybody who knowsanything about, uh, Luci Libre
style from Mexico.

(02:36):
La Parka is a legend.
Staple and staple.
You don't talk lucha Libre.
You don't talk triple A withouttalking La Parka.
I know.
And he has been through so manypromotions as well.
He was in WCW, he was part ofLucha Underground.
He also made a little step inCMLL.
But Triple A is where he has puthis stamp.
It's like talking AAA withouttalking.

(03:00):
Uh, LA Parka is like talking WWEe and not bringing up a stone
cold, A rock, A Brett heart, ASean Michael.
Exactly.
He is a legend.
He is an icon.
He transcends the whole.
Just to name a few, just to namea few on that one.
'cause we can keep rolling offnames.
And, uh, his dancing partner, soto speak.
So to start the match.
Anyway, to start it all off withLoreo Kid, cruise away, champion

(03:23):
for aa.
Uh, definitely another face ofthe company right there who was,
uh, definitely a building blockfor everything to go on.
Uh, I believe they talked abouthim having competed in the
Cruise Away Classic back in like2016.
He did, uh, back in the day hedid.
I was like, oh, that was a nicelittle, you know, because I, I
forgot he was in thattournament.
There's a lot of people, just asidebar, if you're talking about

(03:44):
that cruise away classic, if yougo back, you're gonna find a lot
of people that you're gonna belike, wow.
Zach Saber Jr.
Was in that Zach Saber Jr.
Was in that, TJP was in that AbuAbu.
We, we, we got a lot of reallyquoted out that Absolutely.
And a lot of great matches, which I'm Lindsay Dorado, Lynn
Dorado, the Brian Kendrick, theBrian Kendrick, Johnny Tomaso,

(04:06):
grand Melik, I mean, a lot ofgreat guys, but.
Segueing back over to the, uh,motor oil cup.
Um, we had a good interactionback and forth between those
two.
And then out comes the firstmain roster guy.
Joki Wild.
Joaquin Wild was the first.
Yep.
And so they all then startedhaving a nice little, you know,
three-way match going through.

(04:27):
And then Al comes another, uh,AAA guy.
We got El BMO Negro coming out.
Yep.
Nice.
Nice.
Action.
Now ring's starting to fill up.
We're starting to get thatfrenetic energy, um, to try to
go through a little bit for Howso?
'cause we can go through allthese guys right here.
Yeah.
And we're just gonna focus onsome of the high spots.
One of the first big surprises, one of the more notable names,

(04:49):
Arol Star being mm-hmm.
You know, coming out Aero Starbeing one.
But the, one of the first bigsurprises is somebody that we
talked about in the pre-show,which was Otis.
We thought he was hurt.
Yeah.
And then how he comes and we'relike, oh, we spoke it into
existence.
That part right there.
Like we really did speak it intoexistence.
I was fucked.
I love that.

(05:10):
And Otis sit there and had anice, great show and he ended up
eliminating three people oninside of, out of 14 people.
Oh.
I mean, that's a pretty goodshow crew.
That's a pretty show being forsuch a small battle of royal.
Yeah.
And then probably another greatspot that happened in, uh, when
Pella came out, oh my God.
Pella.
Yeah.
Pella comes out and she has, she's having fun and also doing

(05:33):
a nice little, uh, seg segmentwith Otis in the rig.
Oh yeah.
They're dancing, they're loving.
Yeah.
I love JBL talking about, oh, hedated forever.
Sure.
About five years ago he wasdating Mindy, bro.
Yeah, exactly.
I mean, what are you talkingabout?
He hasn't had a dated forever inat least 10 years.
He was dating Mandy Rose.
I mean, and the guy that, andthen shortly thereafter, a guy I

(05:54):
was very happy to see cominginto this mattress.
Cyber net call.
Yes.
That is a loop show.
I was, dude, you and I were, Ithink we were on the phone at
that time and we were like, thisguy's still alive.
Exactly.
We did not expect him to comeout.
And it was like, oh, okay.
Bringing some of AAA pass kindof like they do in the Royal
Rumble when they bring out someof the old times.

(06:14):
Right.
Some of the old time days.
Um, there is somebody that I didwant to talk about what is, uh,
up Toros Ru Toros.
Yes.
So, so this isn't gonnanecessarily be about the match,
his involvement in the match, but he did have a really good
showing for a big guy.
He moved pretty quickly.
Well, especially since he was inthere with uh, you know, pretty

(06:35):
much like Mecca.
Him had interactions with MeccaWolf.
Wolf was another one that I waslike, ho ho.
Yes, I was really.
But back to Taurus, um, I don'tknow if y'all have been
following, uh, social media actsformerly known as Twitter.
Uh, the Beast, morts out of a EWis now trying to sue for

(06:58):
character infringement.
Yeah.
But correct me if I am wrong,Toros has been around a lot
longer.
Than the Beast.
Mordo, he's been around a lotlonger.
And especially when it comes tothe Mexican promotions.
If a person's under the mask, the company owns the gimmick.
Exactly.
I mean, so you can't really sayand toros that mask and that

(07:21):
persona has been passed on towrestler, to wrestler to
generation.
Right.
Kind of like in Japan with the,uh, the Tiger mask.
Yeah.
But like, and that's my thing islike aaa, like I, uh, put in the
description like it's a companyso enriched in history and in
legacy.
Mm-hmm.
So like being able to pass thisgimmick on to generation after

(07:41):
generation, like this reallybeing a family bread business.
Mm-hmm.
Like anybody that's part of theLuta style now has somehow, in
some way been involved withTriple A.
Yeah.
Whether it be their father, their grandfather, their uncle,
them themselves, getting the, that being their first start.
Mm-hmm.

(08:01):
Oh yeah.
Somehow there is a.
Yeah.
And this whole, he's gonna tryto do a lawsuit.
The the judge is gonna laugh itout, dude, you're gonna, you're
gonna lose that lawsuit.
No.
Miss your money.
And, and, and you know, motos,I, we know you're a lawyer, but
you're not that good to take onTKOs High price guys.
Oh my God.
You're that dude.
You're gonna get crushed.
And so another entrance that wasa surprise to many people.

(08:23):
But if you're not, if you're aAAA fan, you're not that
surprised.
We get the American audience'sreal first view of Micro Man.
We were like, dude, I had tolook at the, I had to look at,
uh, I had to look at the TV fora minute.
I turned over to Twist and I waslike, he's about the same size

(08:43):
as Baby Crossroads.
He's got him beat by like afoot.
And, and so my guy, yeah, babyCrossroads stands at about two
foot even.
And of course micro man is threefoot, three inches with his
size.
You know, he was gonna make someviral moments happen in the
match right there.
He look great dude.
Dude, no, him and Otis workingas a tag team.

(09:05):
Yeah.
What is it that they said?
I commentary that is the tagteam we didn't know we needed.
Exactly.
And you know, and the themeliminating cybernetic.
Yo, that was genius.
Made you live a little, but ofcourse, you know, after getting
rid of Cybernetic who comes out, somebody that we had a feeling

(09:26):
was gonna happen.
Well somebody else we kindaspoken to existed and that was
the Nigerian nightmare.
Oma, yes.
And yes, he came walking slowlypaly when you're that big,
moving too fast might cause alot of damage.
I'm just saying.
Just ask Kevin Nash walkingacross the ring anyways.
Sounds fired.
Sorry, I love big Kevin, but,uh, that's still funny.

(09:49):
Anyways, um, OMA comes in.
Closed lines, choke slams.
He's cleaning house when all ofa sudden he feels a tap on the
back of his leg.
The cinematography on this, aswe kind of talked about, was
just a thing of beauty with, ohmy God, the, the tap, tap, tap.
No response.
Tap, tap, tap.
No response.

(10:09):
Tap, tap, tap.
All right.
I'm finally gonna turn around.
Look around, look around.
Ain't nobody there.
And then just the camera panningdown about four feet to have
almost, and micromanage justwhat up?
Yeah.
And then give micro man credit.

(10:30):
He tried to do something, but hewas met with a big boot from
Omas.
At that point.
Do tromp down so quickly.
Um, and then let's, but let'stalk about the viral
elimination.
Yes.
Because it involved micro man,it involved micro men.
So Otis gets knocked down, hegets taken out and micromanage

(10:51):
just.
Goes casually up to the ropes, little tadpole drop 1, 2, 3.
There goes, there, goes Otis.
Hey, he saw Bobby, he took it.
I don't blame him.
Don't blame him.
Give him credit.
Like, like you're, you gottawin.
You gotta win the match.
Yeah, you gotta win the match.
And this is where the pinpitfall stipulation comes into

(11:12):
play for Copa for one of theonly two times that they did in
the entire match.
Yeah.
Um, but then unfortunately Microman's, uh, you know, magical run
and shortly thereafter where,uh, Omo decides he wants to
recreate a, uh, lion King memeand, no, no, no, no.
The fact that as soon as thatmatch was over, this is how you

(11:34):
know the internet works quick.
The fact that it actually becamea Lion King me, with almost
holding up micro man.
Oh my God.
I gotta ask him.
Did he really need to use twohands in order to throw'em out
with they?
Oh no, but it made, it made thememe better.
It did.
And so, uh, going into, youknow, kind of like the little

(11:56):
last little bits of the match, the final two participants in
this match, LA Parka, who startsit off and Omo.
Yo.
Okay, so I'm looking at, uh,I'm, I'm looking at memes right
now.
Yeah.
So there's the, the, themagneto.
Oh, I prefer the, the, you know, the real this the real that or

(12:17):
whatever.
Mm-hmm.
I prefer the real moment wheretime stood Still Andre and
Hogan.
I said the, the next picture,uh, taker Sean.
I said I prefer the real momentwhere time stood still.
Yeah.
MA's, micro man.
Perfection.
I agree.
That was just a thing of beautyand 112 million views in 48

(12:38):
hours.
Yo, the fact, the fact that theyrecreated the ray material Gray
Khali.
So even Ray looks like a gianton that one right there.
Oh my God.
Nope, nope, nope.
There it is.
There it is.
There it is.
The Micro Man King.
Oh my God.
No, it's the, it's the Penelopeand Oh, it is in the background
for me.
Yeah.

(12:58):
Oh, they do?
The internet works so quickly,so, so quickly.
It worked so well.
I love everything about it.
So, I mean, it wasn't too mucha, it was a little
anti-climatic, not too much backand forth.
La Parka tried house quid gamesshould have ended.
He failed.
And, uh, your Motor Cup Oil.
Motor Oil Cup Champion Oma, uh,he eliminated La Parka to get

(13:21):
the win.
Yeah.
He eliminated La Parka to getthe win.
Yeah, but no, I looked at, uh,twisted and I was like, somebody
called uh, El Torito outtaretirement.
Uh, we'll get ahold of, uh, hornSwale.
Horn Swale.
And, uh, we'll recreate, we'lldo a triple threat wee, because
dude, that would be great.

(13:42):
That would be great.
So overall, I enjoyed the, a lotof the aspects of this match and
a lot of the personalities, andit got a lot of people onto the
card that normally wouldn't havehad a spot on here.
Um, I know you like to do yourgrades for these.
Uh, actually I'm gonna, I'mgonna hold off our grades.
Okay.
Uh, let's get a few episodesunderway.

(14:02):
Sure.
And then I'll start, I'll startdoing grades again.
No problem.
Sounds good.
But for now, we're gonna, we'regonna take a momentary pause
with this being so fair enough.
And so after that match, we hada nice little promo from Dragon
Lead talking about how he'sgonna sit there and take home
the mega championship.
Uh, you know, prettystraightforward promo.
Saw a lot of fire, a lot ofheart in that whole thing right
there.

(14:23):
All right.
And then match number two of thenight we had El i Wagoner Jr.
And what is this man's name?
He came out like Dr.
Do La Messiah.
Thank you.
'cause I was just gonna call himDr.
Do.
Oh, I know.
He had the whole Dr.
June.
Dude was, that was the firstthing that was a great look for
ah, but yeah, LA Messias cameout and immediately you saw how

(14:46):
much bad blood there was hereof, because Dr.
Wagner Jr.
Was actually in the crowd.
Yes.
Without his mask.
Without the mask, which wasreally surprising actually.
But he was in the crowd, youknow, supporting his son and
there as the match is going, youknow,'cause La la Messiah has

(15:08):
his history with, with the wholewagon mask, with, with the
whole, with the whole family.
Um, but you know, they, they, they kind of get snippy.
Wagner Junior is complainingabout how, uh, honestly, his
name was Rico.
Uh, Dorian.
Dorian was getting involved inthe match.
And all you hear is Conantalking, smacking like, dude,
shut up.

(15:28):
If you really cared that much, you'd be ringside not at the uh.
Not in the stands with the fan.
Like, dude, come on.
Like, shut up, shut your mouth.
Elcon Na still has his redfaction in there and Messiahs
isn't there?
Yeah, yeah.
Yeah.
He, they actually touched onthat in the Battle Royal too.
Yep.
Uh, but yeah, no, like, like Isaid, it's just funny that like
we also got that interactionmm-hmm.

(15:49):
Because that shows like howeverybody is so involved.
Yep.
And it also shows a little bitof a different interaction when
it comes to AAA as opposed toother promotions because AAA
announcers will actively callout people at ringside, like
Conan for example.
I mean even JBL was doing it attime.
Time.
Yeah.
I don't see that that often.
Wwe.
No, you don't.
You really don't.
Uh, and we'll, we'll, we'llcircle back to as well,'cause

(16:13):
right before the main event hehad his induction to the AAA
Hall of Fame.
Yes.
Well, right before the, uh,women's Match.
Oh, it was the Women's Match.
Yeah, it's before that.
But, but besides still, butstill it's later on in the show.
Later on in the show he had so,we'll, we'll get back to his
interactions with fans.
Yeah, because man, but like, this was a really good match.

(16:35):
Real, again, uh, I hate to soundlike a broken record, but this
match again, spoke to thehistory that is tripling and
there was a lot of emotionbehind it.
Yes.
Especially the spots where, youknow, messiahs was really beaten
down Wagner in front of PapaWagner, so to speak.
Yeah.
I mean, just going to town andtrying to rip the mask off right
in front of em.
Yeah.
I mean it's, I was like, Ooh.

(16:56):
Yeah, it was going hard.
They were really driving inthat, that, that it really drove
in the bad blood that these twofamilies have with each other.
Exactly.
I mean, and, and I love that'cause you don't, again, that's
something you don't get to seeplayed into with a lot of other
companies.
No.
You, like, you get to see thebad blood, but you don't get to
see it.
To the degree that Messiahs and,uh, and Wagner Jr.

(17:20):
Uh, really delivered andperformed into it.
I know, and I know I spoke, uh,in the pre-show that.
I didn't think that Wagner wasgonna be able to connect with
the crowd and stuff like that.
No, the crowd was firmly behindit.
He was connecting and he wasshowing that he could take it to
the next level.
So he was proving me wrong withthat all day.
He did.
He made you eat your words howyou feel right now?
My guy, I, I am, I'll be firstto admit when I'm wrong.

(17:42):
I, you are.
You are, you are very much, uh,I will admit when I'm a wrong
kind of guy.
Yeah.
And so la also later on in thematch, as he's still trying to
rip the mask off, Dorian gets onthe apron and is trying to cause
more interference.
Like cause more interference.
Obviously Wagner Jr.
Finally has enough, he jumps thebarricade.
You, you hear Conet and JBL bothlike, dude, would you doing sit

(18:02):
down?
Like that's not okay.
You pay to be a fan.
Mm-hmm.
Not to be at ringside.
Yeah.
Essentially, which I mean is a,is valid.
Like you, you, you were here tobe a fan and a spectator not,
not ringside.
If it was really that important, you would've been at ringside to
begin with.
Mm-hmm.
Uh, but he's able to run hisinterference, keep, uh, Dorian

(18:23):
from.
Interfering more than he has,uh, is taken out by, uh,
messiahs.
Mm-hmm.
For a second.
Yep.
Taken out by Messiahs for asecond and Messiahs goes to the
top rope to try to, you know, but that momentary distraction
of get, uh, getting your eyesoff the ball did help.
Uh, Wagner Junior.
Wagner Junior.
Yeah.
Nah, uh, little Wagner.

(18:46):
There you go.
Little, little Wagner Juniors.
But, uh, helped him pick up, uh,some much needed momentum.
'cause at that point he had beenkinda getting his butt whooped.
Oh.
He was looking like a, but ithelped him capital.
He was looking like a Gunthervictim.
Yeah.
But no, he was, he definitelywas able to capitalize on that
momentary distraction and he wasactually able to pick up the

(19:08):
win.
1, 2, 3, uh, pending La mess, LAMessiahs, however you say it.
I whatever, uh, just call himMilmore case to become the, uh.
New Latin American champion.
I will say I do love that beforeevery match we've gotten like
little vignettes of everybody.

(19:29):
Oh, that was a beautiful thing.
And then, you know, him gettingto celebrate with his dad at the
end was real, real heartwarming.
It was, it, it, it pulled on allthe bright strings for that type
of match.
It did.
Especially after the Copa matchwhere you had a lot of, you
know, fun spots, funny spots.
I was gonna say that was morefun.
And then this comes real, thisone was actually a little more
real, a little more serious.

(19:50):
A lot more raw.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And so coming out of this, what, what match are we gonna go into
next?
Well, we're going into the sixperson Intergender tag team
match with judgment days, JDMcDonough, Finn Baller, and
Raquel Rodriguez.
Taking on the unlikely trio ofLola Vice, um, Hamburg, ASA, and

(20:12):
Mr.
Guana.
I'm still just gonna be Mr.
Iguana, you were so salty aboutMr.
Iguana.
I am very salty about, but doththrow over.
He's over.
All right.
All right.
All right.
Desario, I gotta ask, what isyour beef with Mr.
Iguana?
Uh, well, let's see here.
I don't like the iguana.
I don't like his style.

(20:34):
I don't like how, I just don'tlike his face.
I don't like it.
What did Mr.
Iguana ever do to you except forprovide entertainment?
Oh, that's, if I wantedentertainment in the form of a
puppet, I'd ask Santino to comeback out with Cobra.
Speaking of Puppet, you knowwhat?
You won't stop hating on Mr.

(20:55):
Iguana.
Man.
You won't stop hating on Mr.
Iguana.
Well, I'm glad his, uh, iguanagot taken out in this match.
Let's say that well talk aboutthe match and we can talk about
how we got there.
So, a couple of things thatfreaking hater, a couple of
things that we were a littleworried about with this match.
And even though we didn't get tosee.
Um, the physicality betweenpossibly Raquel and maybe Mr.

(21:17):
Iguana, or maybe even Lolaversus Finn.
They teased it a little bit towhere then somebody else tags
in.
So we still don't know if WWE Eis or TKO is gonna be putting
the kibosh on intergendermatches with men and female, but
at least they didn't sit thereblatantly say, oh, if there's a
tag to a female or a male, actually, they didn't blatantly
say it, but that's whathappened.
It did.
It did happen.

(21:37):
That's why I said, I know theydidn't say it.
So it still gives me a littlebit of hope that maybe some of
the, uh, AAA TV tapings orintergender matches or even the
Intergender tag titles are stillgonna be around.
I'm hoping.
So.
Yeah, same here.
So, I mean, we start off withthe women, Lola and Raquel.
They put out a nice littledisplay back and forth with each
other.
Um, then there becomes a nicelittle tag where.

(22:01):
With Finn and Iguana for thefirst time going up.
And those two guys actually didhave a lot of good dude.
They worked so well together.
Yeah, they had a lot of greatchemistry going back and forth,
even before the, uh, spot lateron in the match.
I was like, we'll get to thatspot.
'cause like, dude, dude, I livefor that spot right now.
Uh, the next spot that uh, kindof made every made me kind of
chuckle quite a bit was, youknow, JD can get in, uh, to go

(22:24):
up against Heza and he justcan't move the dude.
No, no.
It's like, like running into abrick wall to the point where
Raquel just whales back andstarts slapping jd.
Like, dude, get it together.
Yeah, get it together.
Do do something here.
Um, so that was a nice littlefun spot.
So, I mean, so far solidopening, lots of good
interactions going on.

(22:44):
Uh, we then see, uh, Roxannecome down and really start to
put her interference into playwith some things that were going
on.
Um, and that led leads to thejudgment day, kind of taking
over the mash quite a bit.
Uh, from there, there's a coupleof, uh, you know.
High spots.
Hammer, Gaza is getting takenout a little bit.
But then, uh, Finn and JD thentried to do a suplex under

(23:05):
Hammer Gaza.
And Hammer Gaza being the dudethat he is, he's just like, nah,
bro, not happening.
Bro's.
Like, so nonchalant.
Yeah.
I I just pictured that his headwhen they're trying to just
like, nah, bro.
So it's funny.
So you've seen the movie TheLongest Char with Adam Sand.
Oh, of course.
Flash is over here.
He's playing his video games, but he looks up to see Hamburg

(23:28):
Gea.
Mm-hmm.
And we get to the spot where hesaid he's giving up the
cheeseburgers.
Oh, the cheeseburger for Yeah.
To Finn.
And he's a fin and he is like, dude, it reminds me of Terry
Cruz in the longest yard.
Yeah.
You know exactly what I'mtalking about.
He had all the hooks of all theMcDonald's cheeseburgers while
they was locked up in jail.
Yep.
I was like, yeah, pretty much.

(23:49):
And then Twisted asked if he wasto stone cold of hamburgers
because you know, stuck cold.
The beer.
Yep.
Just my hand to a beer he waspassing.
No hamburgers.
Oh yeah.
And it actually, even rightbefore that, um, Noah think
being in there, that's when FinValley buss out his secret
weapon dito my G So I'mwatching, yo, I'm watching this

(24:13):
with nurse P and she looks up,she's like, that is the most
adorable thing I've ever seen inmy entire life.
Twist said he looked like arejected Muppet Twist.
Said he looked like a rejectedMuppet.
And I was just like, I don'tcare.
I want it.
It's so awesome.
It was so awesome.
And actually, go a little funthing.

(24:34):
If you go onto to Finn Grant,uh, ball's Instagram.
He's been playing around a lotwith, you know, that little
puppet.
He's got a very interestingvideo with him, demon Fit and
Dito, basically kicking the crapoutta Mr.
Iguana.
Yay.
I love everything about this.
And so you dig a little bittowards the end of the matches.

(24:57):
I bet you were happy to seeDito.
Oh, remove Mr.
La to remove Esca.
Yeah.
Out of this match.
And you, I was hoping that lauh, that Dan Iguana, I'm not
even gonna refer to it by name, that damn iguana was permanently
injured to the point where we'dnever see it again.
But no, we saw it againyesterday on roll.

(25:17):
That thing must have greathealth insurance.
Oh yeah.
Mexican health insurance.
They don't have to pay as muchas America.
Exactly.
So it's okay.
It's okay.
There we go.
But going towards the end of thematch here, Lola and Raquel are
going to blows again.
Um, Roxanne tries to runinterference one more time when
all of a sudden a player that ifyou're following some of the
storylines isn't very unknownhere.

(25:38):
I would say we talked about iton the, uh, on the pre-show.
Yeah.
A lot.
Hydra comes running out anddoesn't hit Roxanne, but after
Roxanne's able to evade theinitial attack.
Yeah.
And then.
Accidentally hits Lolaaccidentally on purpose, but by
accident.
Yeah.
And then, oh crap.
And then starts chasing Roxannelooks at her shrugs and then

(25:59):
just go.
So I mean, yeah, you can sitthere, maybe say, oh it was an
accident.
No, what the way the story isgoing between her and Lola, that
was no accident.
See, see, see, I feel like itwas an accident that she took
out Lola.
'cause she was intending for totake out Roxanne in the process.
But it's one of those accidentsthat it's like, I'm not sorry it
happened.

(26:20):
True.
Is what that was.
Yeah.
Fair.
Okay.
Kinda like where you see the matpoints in the match with uh, l
in the main event where theytake out people and they're
like, oh, okay, that happened.
Like, exactly.
Yeah.
Like, did I intend for it to beyou?
No.
Am I apologetic that it was youalso?
No.
Yeah.
And then shortly after thathappens, Roxanne comes up, hits

(26:42):
the uh, Tijuana bomb.
Yep.
Raquel.
Raquel hits that, sorry.
Raquel hits the TBA on, I'm sayRoxanne is, uh, pop Rocks and
was chased out of the sit andwas chased out of the building
by Lara.
The two are names and JudgmentDay are getting me mixed up
sometimes.
I feel like That's fair.
I feel that's fair enough.
And so 1, 2, 3 Judgment Day winsthe match going away.

(27:04):
Very fun.
Very entertaining match, dude,dude.
And I hope,'cause I didn't getto watch her all last night.
I'll probably watch it latertonight.
Yeah.
But I hope they capitalize onsome of that momentum.
They did a little bit.
Did you, you, you did say, uh,you didn't see them losing the
match, especially with, youknow, your world tag team, them
being rotating team champions.
Yeah.
And that's why I was like, Ifeel like Raquel's on like a, a

(27:26):
decline after, you know, losingthe women's tag championships or
whatever, hadn't really beenable to get herself in the, uh,
into the title hunt to be asingles competitor.
As a singles competitor.
Maybe you play into a little bitof the momentum loss.
I was wrong, but whatever.
We here, we here.
Yeah.
Good stuff going on.

(27:46):
So then why don't you take usinto our next match.
What, uh, street fight for thetriple A tag titles Los Garza
versus psycho circuses.
Psycho Clown and Pono.
I love how you phrased that andI know why you phrased it that
way.
Oh, I did because that's that, Imean, that is technically part
of what their faction is called,of course is the psycho circus.

(28:09):
Yeah.
But, uh, this match right out, right out the gate was hard
hitting, fast pace, no nonsense.
Just like we thought it wasgonna be.
I want the gold and I'm gonna dowhatever I can to walk out of
here with it.
Mm-hmm.
Uh, Los Garza's really trying tolike cement that they deserve to

(28:33):
hold the gold psycho clown lightpsycho clown and pano.
I want this back.
Yes.
Like, I want this back withinour home company.
And, and you can tell the, uh,bad blood and the whole pride
thing started off right away.
Especially after the kicks, theheadbutts and everything.
Yes.
Everybody jumping outta thering.
You got low scars.
They throwing chairs.
Trash go.
They're, they're going at it.

(28:54):
But again, throwing back.
Pagano has history with lowscars are Garza's, I think
Uncle.
Yes.
Is it is what it is.
Yes.
Is it uncle?
Yes.
Hector Garza.
Yes.
Uh, so like, again, you seethese aren't rivalries that are
brand new, fresh starting, whatever, like these are that go

(29:17):
back mm-hmm.
Years, generations.
Yeah.
This is not hotshot booking.
Like, and, and, and every oncein a while a hotshot book.
But when you can play into like, alright, you've been here long
enough to remember this and nowwe have, you know.
Like what?

(29:39):
I'm trying to think of anexample I can use in the w in
the wwe and I'm really justdrawing a blank right now.
So I think probably the closestexample you can kind of go with,
um, where it comes to, you know, taking on, you know, lineage and
history and stuff like that.
Maybe people that theundertaker,'cause undertaker
went up against cowboy Bob atone point in time, but then,
then comes Randy Orton to play.

(29:59):
There we go.
Like, and it's one of thoselike, you've been here long
enough to remember father, nowyou gotta take on the son.
Like, and you're still around.
Here's the son to reignite that,uh, that history and that
rivalry.
Yeah, and that's exactly whatthis was.
It was a battle of pride, abattle of respect, and a battle
of.
And then, you know, great spotsall around.

(30:20):
Especially, you know, after thekendo sticks came out, then you
have, you know, the barbed wire, the barb wire kendo sticks where
great I looked and I was like, Iwant want, I really, really want
one Guinea kendo stick.
I mean, one of the first highspots also in the match too, is
when they try up, uh, pano andthe psycho clown in the trio
woes in the quarter.

(30:41):
Yes.
And start going to town with thekdo sticks.
Oh my God.
Alright.
Something about this made mereally happy.
So, you know how usually at likeSummer Slant or you know,
whatever pay-per-view we havevia WE?
Yes.
The first announced able to gowith the Spanish Now table,
something about a Mexicanwrestling promotion going after

(31:03):
the English announced tablefirst.
Yes.
Just sat so.
Write with me, I think balancedus out just a little bit.
Oh.
And if they didn't go for theEnglish announced table at All
points in time in aaa, what arewe even doing here, folks?
Right?
Like, like, like, come on.
We, it was a really fun moment.

(31:24):
Really fun now to, usually it'sSpanish announced table now that
we're in a Spanish speakingcountry, I think we could still
be, yeah.
And of course the Spanish stuff, you know, uh, audience is gonna
eat that up.
Oh my God.
I ate that up.
Eat all day long.
Uh, another cool spot that wewere kind of talking about
before we started recording aswell is, uh, when Pagano really
started taking charge in themiddle of the match.
Yeah.

(31:44):
Throwing Angel head first.
First into the chair and thenrunning around.
Code breaker on, uh, Alberto.
Alberto.
I'm surprised actually bysomething though.
What's that?
Santos didn't get involved.
Uh, no.
Santos Sanso.
Where, where was Santos?
I mean, I feel like this was amatter of pride and like those
guard was wanting to prove like,Hey, like we appreciate what

(32:07):
you're doing for us.
Let us show you that.
You've, you know, you've taughtus well and that we can handle
this because of you.
I know.
And especially since they weresuch a united front at Worlds
Collide and they're not on thisshow.
I mean, it was very, verysurprising.
Like I said, I feel like I wannasay that that was like an off
camera conversation of, yo, wegot this, we're not gonna let
you down type thing.

(32:28):
Would've been nice to see avignette on it though, right?
Like No, that's what I'm saying.
Like I wish we would've, likethey would've touched on that.
'cause like where was he?
Like, yeah, because I haven'theard anything about him being
injured.
No, I haven't heard anythingabout him.
But we haven't seen Santos in alittle bit.
He was on, when they defendedthe titles against Mr.
Iguana and Psycho Clown onSmackDown.

(32:49):
Yeah, but that was like threeweeks later.
Yeah, that was like three weekslater.
And we haven't really seen himtoo much since.
That's what I'm saying.
So like, I don't know what'sgoing on, but.
Well, here's hope.
And nothing bad or so nothingserious is going on with
Sandoz's.
Right.
Um, a couple more high spotsfrom the match up to kind of go
through this.
I mean, there was also thatawesome image that a lot of
people have never seen withpsycho clown before, where he is

(33:10):
ripping the stuff off of hismask.
Yikes.
It's a kind, he's ripping hisface off.
Well, first off, it's a mask.
Don't say it's a face.
Okay.
But you got the point of what hewas trying to say.
No, I get where he was and Ifeel like that's a lot more
that's gonna impact the way yousee it a lot more than, oh, he
is ripping off part of his mask.
And that's starting to, thatstarts beginning the end of the

(33:32):
dr the dramatics.
Remember?
Yeah.
There's still, they still gottatell a story here.
They still gotta be somewhatdramatic about it.
I get it.
I get it.
Trust me, I get it.
And then that's kinda leadinginto the momentum to build
towards the end.
They put trashcan over, uh,angel end up hitting him with a
concerto at one point, and thenthat's when the trashcan

(33:52):
concerto.
Yes.
And then we see some barbedwire.
Coming out just regular.
Oh my God.
Just none of this.
Them wrapped who, who Theywrapped, they wrapped a berdo
with it.
They wrapped burdo with it offthe top Rope.
Spanish fly.
The Spanish fly wrapped inbarbed wire was insane.
Yeah, I really did enjoy that.
Uh, and then you know what, ithelped them pick up the three

(34:14):
count your new A EW or your newTriple A tag team champions,
psycho clown and Pagano, andpost match, the rest of the
psycho circus come out tocelebrate.
I was so happy to see the restof the psycho circus.
Oh, so was I, I mean that's onthe Triple A shows that we've
talked about before.
We've, I've always mentionedthat like I'd rather see just

(34:36):
psycho circus out there.
Just gimme the regular psychocircus.
Right.
And so now we finally got allso, and the fact that we got
that moment, yeah.
Makes me real happy.
A full circle moment.
All right.
Now switching gears before weget into our last two matches.
Yes.
A moment of respect.
Very, very beautifulintroduction.
Firm Ray Mysterio.

(34:56):
Very beautiful video package forthe man that known as Conan.
Yes.
Uh, his induction to the, uh,triple A class of 2025 Hall of
Fame complete as he's givinghis, we're talking about how
his, his crowd work.
You, you heard a fan, you know, kind of running his mouth and

(35:20):
Colin wasn't having none of it.
Mm-hmm.
Telling him to shut up himself, you know, he wasn't having none
of the disrespect.
And I, I, I respect him forthat, for standing his ground.
'cause like he could've justplayed it off.
He could have just ignored it.
He could have taken the highroad, but no, he is like, we're
not about to do this.
My guy.

(35:40):
Yeah.
But like, seeing the moment, seeing that full circle moment,
if you remember, what was it,two years ago?
Yeah.
Two years ago.
Two years ago.
Two years ago, three years ago,it was three years ago.
It was, uh, three years ago, we,we got Ray Mysterio inducted
into the WWE Hall of Fame.
Mm-hmm.
Who inducted it?
It was Conan.
And to see Mysterio inductedConan into the AAA Hall of Fame,

(36:04):
it just felt right.
'cause you know, that studentteacher, mentor, mentee, but
like, also friend and familytype thing.
'cause he brought up, like Raybrought up how Conan brought him
into, helped bring him into thebusiness.
Conan brought up what Ray meantto him in the business, how he

(36:24):
loves even though, you know,Dominic's tool, but how he, how
much he loves Aaliyah andDominic and Ray, and I don't
remember Ray's wife's name, sowe're just gonna leave it at
that.
But how he loves them, how hewants nothing but the best for
his godchildren in Dominic andAal.

(36:44):
Yeah.
Everything about this just satright, it hit the right notes.
Congratulations, Conan on a muchdeserved Hall of Fame induction.
Long overdue.
Long Oh yeah.
Long overdue.
Like I love that.
They really, they showed andacknowledged every version of

(37:06):
him that has existed throughoutwrestling history throughout his
career.
Because you had the mast, theunmasked, you had, uh, Kog, you
know, his, like his WCW run hisTNA run where he was, you know,
the manager for LAX, bothversions of it.
Both like everything, all of hiscontributions, how he as a Cuban

(37:33):
American man was able to helppopularize and polarize the
world of pro wrestling for in atime where.
Guys like him were anafterthought.
Yeah.
Like the people of color,Hispanic, black, whatever,

(37:53):
weren't really sought aftertalent.
They were often overlooked, notconsidered.
And Colin really made you payattention to us.
He absolutely did.
Especially the Latin Americancommunity.
Mm-hmm.
Absolutely.
And there's no betterrepresentation to sit there and
really prop up and give thethanks to all of his

(38:14):
contributions.
Like I think when you talk luchaor you talk like Latin wrestling
influence.
Oh, especially modern.
Especially in the modern age.
Like you talk, obviously we saidit earlier, you talk Laco.
Mm-hmm.
You talk Ray Mysterio.
You talk and And you can't gowithout talking.

(38:35):
Conan.
No.
Like Conan deserves to be on theMount Rushmore of all, at least.
I am not gonna say I'm the MountRushmore of all wrestling.
'cause that's, those are, that'sway too wide.
That's way too wide.
There's too many conversations, too many different opinions.
And honestly, it varies on whoyou ask.
Yeah.
But when it comes to the worldof Latin wrestling or lucho

(38:58):
wrestling, your Mount Rushmoreconsists of La Parka, Ray
Mysterio, Jr.
Conan.
And you can decide who you wannafit in the, to that last lot,
Eddie.
But you could also addpsychosis.
You can also add psychosis.

(39:18):
You can also add who and toguerrera if you want to go that
route as well.
And that, and that's my pointis, yeah, that last spot can be
open to interpretation.
Those three.
Yes.
Do not get moved.
No, those three don't move.
Those aren't up for discussion,up for debate.
And honestly, as much as I loveLa Parker, I think Conan had a
bigger influence.
Oh, Conan did have a bigger I II, I genuinely, and I'm gonna

(39:40):
all, again, no disrespect.
You know, all due respects to LaParker, I appreciate what you
have done to help.
But Latin American wrestling, lucha wrestling doesn't get to
where it is today without Conan.
No, no, absolutely not.
Like thank you La Parker forintroducing it to the world.
Conan, thank you for, forrevolutionizing it.

(40:02):
Thank you for really bringingacknowledgement to place to who
it, in places that couldn't careof us.
And without him, we probablywouldn't have this TKO deal that
happened.
We wouldn't have this.
So I was reading something onthat actually.
Okay.
Because without him, we wouldn'thave the TKO deal with aaa, but
apparently TKO wasn't, uh,completely so Triple H credits

(40:27):
undertaker for getting this dealdone.
I don't know how,'cause he saysthat, he's like, if you would've
told me this like 10, 20 yearsago, that undertaker would be
the deciding factor.
On us getting a wrestling propromotion, much less the biggest
wrestling promotion in Mexico.

(40:47):
I would've told you, you werecrazy.
So Undertaker is now king ofDeLucas.
I dumb as much as you wannaclaim that title.
I think Undertaker deserves thattime because apparently
undertaker was the decidingfactor.
Well, according to Triple H,well may maybe I'll be on a wait

(41:12):
and see one with this.
I mean, maybe that's up therewith some of Hogan's claims.
We'll find out.
We'll find out Again.
Again, this is Triple H who madethe deal.
I know I'm gonna believe a lotmore of what comes outta Triple
H's mouth than I will hu Cols.
I get it.
I can't really believe anythingthat comes outta Hu's mouth
anymore because you know, hekinda did.
I was about to say.
Alright.
But again, like I said, muchdeserved, long overdue.

(41:36):
Congratulations going in on yourHall of Fame induction.
I, yeah.
Long overdue, well respected nowto get him in the TNA hall.
Yes, that's, and I know theybought him out, but I would like
to see him in the WWE Hall ofFame for his contributions to
wcw.
Mm-hmm.
It would make sense.
It makes sense.
And we'll see where that leadsgoing on.

(41:57):
I will also love to,'cause he'sbeen great at giving us the
history lessons, hisacknowledgement of how the, I
know we were talking about itduring the Latin American title.
How LA Miss Thank you.
It has actually battled guyslike RVD for that title.
Mm-hmm.
He, because he acknowledged thathe is like all your, like all

(42:19):
your extreme wrestlers from thattime period.
So like the RV ds, the Ravens, the whatever, all came through
AAA to get to that style, tobring it to the states.
Mm-hmm.
And again, that doesn't happenwithout a guy like ko.
Yep.
And a lot of the AAA guysbrokered deals to get to ECW
through Paul Hammond, throughConan Summit.

(42:40):
That was the bridge all Drew didthat bridge out there.
So yeah, he definitely deservesmore recognition.
It comes to, he, he doesn't, II, I do love that unlike a lot
of legends though, and I'm gonnasay he is a legend, at least to
me.
Mm-hmm.
He's not one of those.
I'm gonna go out and try to seekthe flowers or not ment that
y'all haven't given me.

(43:01):
He is very comfortable with.
All right.
Y'all aren't gonna gimme mycredit.
Fine.
Whatever.
Yeah, I'm gonna continue to dothis.
I'm gonna continue to do my jobas well as I do.
Screw, screw your price.
Yes, I know what I can, I knowwhat I bring to the table.
This is what we're gonna do.

(43:21):
Gotta respect it.
I do.
Yeah, I do.
Well, we got a couple morematches we need to dive into.
We got two, we got our last twomatches.
So go ahead and bring us in.
So we got the Rena ReynaChampionship match.
It's a triple threat matchbetween Fey, uh, sorry, Apache
Flammer.
And the low key legend, Natalia,AKA Natty, the best version of

(43:47):
Natty.
Oh, this is 100% the bestversion.
I, you gave me her and I said iton the pre-show.
I want the version of Nattygoing into this match.
I want the version of Natty thathas been showing up at the GCW
Bloodsport Show.
Yes, and that is the version Igot.
Yeah, we got the a hundredpercent package and entrance to

(44:10):
go along with it.
And even her mannerisms and herstyle in the match as well.
This hard hit, I don't think Ihave ever, and I have watched
Naty since I was like 70.
I'm 28, so we've been watchingher well over two decades.
I don't think I've ever seen amore aggressive version to Naty

(44:31):
Nightheart than I did this pastthat.
And I ate it up like a, like Iwas a fat kid eating cake on a
birthday party and Allah and youknow, WWE Triple H.
Take notice.
Take notice.
The fans reacted well to her,not only in the stadium, but us
watching at home.

(44:53):
Our clamoring are waiting, arewanting this version of Natty to
come in and run face of yourwomen's division.
You know what?
Last night on Ron Naomi wasannounced that she was pregnant
and had to vacate the title.
Congratulations to her by theway.

(45:15):
You need a number one contenderfor Stephanie Qui at Clash of
Paris.
Give Naty her goddamn follows, and just imagine that match
between her and Stephanie.
Give me this version of Naty.
Give me Stephanie Viki clash ofparents.
Clash at Paris Women's World'stitle.

(45:38):
Take my Money.
'cause you know, that's gonnaput asses in seats.
Oh, it's gonna do great.
It gonna beautiful.
That's gonna, that the revenuefrom that match alone is enough.
I like just putting it on paperis enough to get the fans
interested and you know, oh, Iknow it, I know it well.
Let's backtrack here.
Get back on track with the matchright here that we have going

(45:58):
on.
So we have a nice littleblending of styles going on.
Um, Fabi is really going intotown with, uh, Natalia for a
little bit, but they takeNatalia out early in the match
and it becomes just between, uh,Flammer and Apache for a little
bit.
Um, and then I saw a lot ofconfusion online.
A lot of American audiencesaren't used to a, uh, quote
unquote heel referee.

(46:20):
And we have the spot where Fabi, you know, gets blamer down and
here's the referee just lookingaround, goes down and we hear
one, two.
And then Corey Graves cover itup for him.
Be like, oh, he is gotta have ahurt.
So shoulder or something, dude.
Okay.
The fact that we had a, a, atriple style of baby face or of

(46:43):
heeled, but not full on heelcommentators.
Oh, it was great.
I loved it.
God give me that y And so wehave that.
And then immediately hisshoulder, uh, no problems eased
up like within two minutesbecause right when, uh, Flamm
goes for a pin, you see one, two, and then kick out, it's
like, what the heck?

(47:04):
Um, twisted pointed it out.
Two twisted called it out sohard.
Yeah.
Oh, shoulder injury is my butt.
But also no twisted.
Called it all like, dude, whatis it with the inconsistent cow?
Well, there's also other thingtoo, is that that particular
referee, I don't know his name, but I've seen him before, he has
history with Abby, uh, FabyApache, where they've actually

(47:24):
had a little bit of a feud.
So again, history.
Wow.
Kids Triple A delivers it inspades.
You know, they've had a littlebit of history with that in the
past, so that's probably why hewent with a slow count on the
whole thing.
Oh yeah.
No, and that's my thing isagain, AAA is really good about
making you remember things youthought you forgot.
Yeah.
AAA is really good at comingback and touching on moments.

(47:46):
Mm-hmm.
That you know, WWE wouldn'totherwise touch No.
Mean like once it's pa, once themoment's passed, it's passed,
right?
Yeah.
Not in Triple A.
Yeah, like quarter.
Oh, this moment passed.
But I hope you remembered it.
'cause now we're gonnaacknowledge it about three
months later and we're gettingthat a little bit in WWE now.

(48:07):
Whereas unfortunately in Vince'sera where it was, people don't
remember what happened twomonths ago, pal.
Which actually yes, they do.
You just treat the audience likethey're dumb.
You treated us like we werestupid and you quickly found out
we are not.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So with this match, it was a lotof back and forth, a lot of
stuff going on.
Naty eventually hits, you know, the double sharp shooter, dude,

(48:27):
I loved everything about that.
Like it was,'cause it's not thefirst time she's hit it, but
like for, for the lucha fans tosee it mm-hmm.
Was something great.
And the way she put it on wasflawless.
Oh my God.
The execution was chef kiss.
Uncle Brett would be proud ofUncle Brett.

(48:50):
Should be proud of that.
The entire heart family shouldbe proud of that whole woman
dude, for real.
And so we get, we're starting toget into the end of the match
right here.
Um, Fabi hits, you know, a greatmove on Natalia.
I'm trying to remember what Ihad written down.
Oh yeah, the Apache driver.
Yes.
So her version of the KU driver,in case people don't know, um,

(49:11):
goes to go for the pin, but thenflamer comes through, pushes.
Fabi off to the side.
One, two foot goes on the rope.
Referee still counts three.
Right as the foot goes on therope, remember in the triple
dirt match.
That really doesn't matter.
Doesn't matter.
Doesn't matter.
But like the, the way that theywent about, about it was really

(49:32):
great.
Like, I mean, the heel ref not,you know, you know, you know
where his allegiance liesessentially.
Yes.
Um, so the fact that they reallytouched, they made him just as
much a part of the match as partof the story as the women in the
ring.
Mm-hmm.
Great touch.
'cause again, that's, that'ssomething you've seen wrestling
in other companies?

(49:52):
No.
In any company really.
Not at all.
And I, and I, and I touch onthis when I'm recording, uh, our
original, uh, podcast, when I'mtalking to Twisted as much as
the wrestlers tell the storythemselves, oh, the referee is a

(50:12):
very huge component of your.
There's more than just the guysin the ring.
Yeah.
Because your ring announcer verymuch a part of that story.
Samantha Irving is a primeexample.
Yes.
Like she, you, you saw, youheard it in her voice.

(50:32):
How much of a passion and howmuch of a fan She's before
anything.
Your commentators give you theverbal component to what you're
seeing of the story.
They will make or break a TVaudience.
And we've seen it.
Oh yeah.
We, we've been watchingwrestling a really long time.

(50:53):
We've seen Michael Cole himselfburied.
Um, AJ Francis.
I keep calling him flop.
Yes.
But you know what, he was a partof that story and he made, and
because of that you paidattention.
Yes.
'cause it was how.

(51:13):
When is he gonna do it again?
How is he gonna, you know, howis AJ Francis gonna respond?
Mm-hmm.
This time?
Yeah.
And, but like, we've also seenthe commentators give, have no
give.
And now I'm just like, why am Iwatching this?
I'm not interested.
True.
But just as much as thosecommentators, that referee

(51:35):
probably has the most importantjob in telling the story.
Oh yeah.
He's gotta sit there and relayit.
Remind people of spots, check onwrestlers if they're hurt, he's
gotta, he's gotta, he's gottaremember everything for the
other two guys on top of themhaving to remember, he's gotta
remember what he's gotta do incount, you know, making the
count, checking for injury.

(51:57):
Now he's gotta remind them, Hey,this is your next spot,
essentially.
Oh, I'm supposed to take a bumphere, or I'm supposed to get
taken, or I'm supposed to beinvolved this way or that way.
Your referee tells your storyYep.
Just as much, if not more thanyour in ring competitors.
Yep.
And giving them their timingcues.
You know, Hey, two minutes, three minutes, go home.

(52:20):
Right.
Like, it's time to bring it on.
Come on.
Yeah.
So it's very much a no workdance with every single
component that goes through.
And, and that's my thing aboutthe world of pro wrestlers, but
especially, uh, lucha libre.
Like you need everybody to be onthe same page.
'cause if one person isn'tfollowing through or isn't

(52:41):
cooperating, your wholeproduction is screwed.
Yes.
I, I agree.
And it's no.
And to the hardcore fans likeyou, me, Desar, or, uh, and
Twisted mm-hmm.
We're gonna notice those littledetails.
Oh, very much so.
Very much.
Well, why don't you bring usinto the Main Event.
Main Event, fatal four A TripleA Mega Championship, uh, IO,

(53:05):
dragon Lee, dirty, DominicMysterio.
An El Grande Americano versiontwo of four.
Ah, once again, still original.
Just hit a growth spurt.
Slim down.
Really trained two of, okay,fine.
Version one of three.
And you can't even deny me thatone'cause the other two popped

(53:26):
up.
Mid match.
Well, they might be thedisciples of Americano.
We haven't been giving'em namesyet.
They could be the disciples ofAmericano.
But look, let's, let's talkabout entrances for this whole
thing.
The, the entrances with this wasreal de Yeah.
De you really gonna sit here andtreat me like I'm, I'm a fan

(53:47):
under the Vince McMahon era.
Nope.
But I'm trying my best to sitthere and make it my point of
view on what they should begoing with this.
Think of it.
That would be great if they sitthere announced something and
the disciples of Americano.
I wouldn't mind that actually.
Hold on.
But yeah, let's talk entrancedays.
'cause El Grande Americano had areally.

(54:08):
A solid entrance with themariachi band.
Yes.
I You got the crowd to singalong again.
Mm-hmm.
Uh, doms was me because Domdidn't really have anything
special really with his, hedidn't need to outside of
wearing deer.
Inspired by his grand uncle, uh,his, yeah, his grand uncle who

(54:32):
used to compete in Raymond RioSr.
Yes.
Because he had on the, uh, thefur, the jacket, the fur, which
I, I love the nod.
I love the nod, the, uh, homageto your history, kind of
remembering where you came from.
I'm still being a piece of shit.
Just, yeah.
Because dude also came out witha live Morgan version Mary Yep.

(54:54):
Hanging down.
Like he always wears the t-shirthanging around his way.
Yeah.
My, my dude, my dude really, uh,dragony, I think had the best
entrance.
Oh, that came hard, dude.
With the, uh, with the JAJapanese drum.
Mm-hmm.
The people ringing out thedragon.

(55:15):
It did get stuck in theentranceway for a minute and I
think it was just a littlebigger, or the entranceway was
just a little smaller than theyanticipated, but dope entrance
and then the acknowledgement oflike all these guys that were in
AAA prior, like passed AAAcompetitors and champions
helping lead vi kingo out to thering, essentially.

(55:39):
Yes.
My biggest gripe with thatthough is Ray, if you were only
allowed one, why wouldn't you,uh, support and put over the guy
that's in your faction, the guythat they have deemed the next
Ray Mysteria, the guy that youare supposed to be mentoring,
the guy you call the future oflucha.

(56:00):
I got nothing.
I got nothing for you.
I mean, I think it was just toget the Mexican crowd, not to
boo Theo, which did not.
And he still got booed, whichdid not work in any way, shape
or form.
Like bro, if you're gonna putover anybody, put over your
disciple.
You know what?
That moment reminded me of themoment when Roman won that Royal
Rumble and Rock comes into thering to try to endorse him.

(56:22):
And did they got booed out thestadium?
They got booed out the stadium.
Yeah, I'm telling.
Okay.
But that Roman Rumble winshouldn't have been Romans.
No.
Roman definitely needed likethe, the year after.
Yes.
But the year that he won thatRumble was not his tool.

(56:45):
No.
And you know it, yeah.
Nobody wanted to see that man.
But going into the match itself.
Immediately they branched offAmericana and Dragon Lee, uh,
Mysterio and Vio right awaybranched off.

(57:09):
They get to Goman.
They are having themselves, youknow, they're, they're, they're
small rivalries within thebigger picture of the rivalries.
And you know, again, this is awhat I need, what do I need to
do to make sure I walk out ofMexico City champion.
Yeah.
And it was definitely, you know, the enemy of, uh, the enemy is

(57:31):
my friend.
Yep.
The enemy of the, the enemy ofmy enemy is my friend, uh,
mentality.
You saw Dom and Americanotemporary Alliance quite often
throughout the match.
Mm-hmm.
Which doesn't bother me, but youalso got to see it with Vio and
Dragon Lee.

(57:52):
Which also again doesn't reallybother me.
'cause at the end of the day, ifyou could work together to
eliminate as many competitorsbefore y'all gotta take each
other out, it's probably thesmartest thing you can do.
Oh yeah.
And both and all competitorswere sitting there taking part
of that one.
So it wasn't one of those Oh,the baby faces are trying to be,
you know, gunning out and begrit.
No, they're like, Hey, if we gota team up to do this, let's do

(58:14):
it.
And then we'll take each thatlater on.
Because like, I'm pretty sure Isaw a temporary alliance with
Dom and Dragon Lee at one point.
Yes.
Uh, when they got, uh, goingafter Vio, like, I need to win.
You're gonna help me take himout and then I can take you up
with Yeah.
I mean, solid match that wentthrough with a lot of these
things, especially with a lot ofthe points.
Now let's talk about towards themiddle to the end with all the

(58:36):
moving components that start.
Okay.
All the moving components.
'cause first we got theinterference from judgment then
to kind of equal out thebalance.
You had Joaquin and Cruz comeout for LWR.
Then came out the other twoversions of Grande Americano
disciples of disciples ofGrande.

(58:57):
You know what, we'll call themthe disciples of Americano for
right now.
There we go.
We'll call'em the Disciples ofAmericano for right now.
You know what the initial spellout?
DOA?
Oh, I cracked myself up.
Anyways, remind me again why Idecide why I decided to do this
with you on a very permanentbasis, because I dropped nuggets
like this.
It's awesome.

(59:18):
I wouldn't say these nuggets areawesome, but you know, you're
wrestling it, you know, you, youknow, the world of pro
wrestling, so I can't be mad.
Yeah.
Why do I put up with youanyways?
Disciples of Americano.
Uh, but like that's, there's allthat chaos happening around the
ring.
You know, the guys.
In the ring or kind of fed up.

(59:39):
And I think Dragon Lee ended upovertaking out just everybody he
did before getting back in thering and once again trying to
make his mark known for thestyle.
Yes.
Um, and as we're getting closerto the end of the match, Don
puts on the mask, puts on thesteel, puts the steel plate in
his mask that El GrandeAmericano was initially trying

(01:00:01):
to use.
Yep.
And that got folded Mysteriowith that is able to take out
the rest of the field just for aman in a hoodie and mask to come
in and interfere here, costinghim his chance.
At the, at the title turns outit's AJ Styles not the first

(01:00:22):
time AJ.
Styles has, has traveled bordersto cost somebody something.
Not the first time.
And also because he did it withLa Knight.
Yep.
When they were in Perth forchamber.
Yep.
Last year.
Hm.
And also just showing that, youknow, when it comes to, uh,
Dominic, AJ knows no bounds onwhat he's gonna do or what he is

(01:00:45):
gonna show up as at this pointit's not even just Dominic.
Yeah.
But like AJ knows no bounds whenit, when he is on a mission.
Yeah.
Because this man was on amission.
Yeah.
He just don't piss off aj.
Exactly.
And again, I love that though.
'cause that's, you know, that'sgonna come back.
We're gonna get a remit for theicy title somewhere down the
line because of this.

(01:01:06):
Uh, but a being able tocapitalize on that.
Was the kingo able to hit thesix 30?
Six 30?
Yeah.
Uh, and pick up the win.
1, 2, 3.
Your and still your AAA megachampion.
I will say you didn't see thesame moment we did at co because

(01:01:30):
you remember at World Collide, the locker room empty to
celebrate with him.
Yeah.
He celebrated this one.
Yep.
All by himself.
Nobody came out to celebratewith him.
Nobody came in to give him thework like that, wasn't it?
It is interesting how they endedthat out, because usually they
do the big, grandiosecelebrations at the end of
triple Manias.
Right?
Um, and I don't, I, I'mintrigued to see where they're

(01:01:53):
gonna go with this, especiallywith how the crowd is reacting
to the Kingo.
Um, and especially with the newpartnership that's going on.
So, great piece of storytelling, great piece of, uh, you know,
just dropping a little bit of anugget going, Hey, you know,
this guy isn't gettingcelebrated by his peers.
What's gonna happen next?
And I'm intrigued.
I'm, I wanna see what happens.

(01:02:13):
Right.
So do I, I'm gonna be lookingforward to the next, you know,
uh, AAA taping.
I'm gonna be looking forward to,I'm gonna be looking to see how
this plays out.
'cause I need to know what'sgonna happen next with these
guys.
Oh yeah.
Also, I need a way to watch aaa.

(01:02:33):
I'll, we'll get to that.
I'll, we'll work on it.
Say, we'll, we'll look into thatso we can keep up, uh, later.
But that does bring us to theend of Triple Mania.
33.
33.
That's insane.
I know, because like you look atsome of these guys on the
roster, coan acknowledged thathe was part of the first one

(01:02:57):
during his Hall of Fame speech.
Ray was involved in the firstone.
Like, look at this.
Yeah, it, it's come a long way.
Congratulations to year 33.
I can't wait for number 34.
Oh, I know.
It's gonna be, it, it just keepsgetting bigger every year.
Oh yeah.
And actually, you know what Iwanna acknowledge real quick

(01:03:19):
before we sign off.
Mysterio is doing hisintroduction for Koan.
The crowd starts chanting for ELpatrol.
Oh yes.
And he and, and Mysterio.
All book guarantees that he'llfind a way to bring them back.
Mysterio.
Do not attach your name to that.
No.
Ray, I love you.

(01:03:40):
I respect you.
I admire you.
Do not attach your name to thathigh ass man.
Don't do it.
No, that, that, that's gonnamake you look bad.
Stay as far away from that ashuman possible.
Put, put your own back in thebottle.
Yes, yes.
Please, please Put it back inthe bottle.
Leave it alone.
But, all right, y'all, thatbrings us to the end of the

(01:04:00):
triple A Triple Mania recap.
Desario, thank you for joining.
I can't wait till we can recordagain, which will be Forbidden
Door.
Yes.
Uh, in London.
In London, which is gonna beanother packed house.
It's gonna be a hot show, youknow?
Oh, it's gonna be a hot show.

(01:04:21):
Some of the matches I've seengoing into that are set up for
that already.
Have me intrigued.
Yes.
Have me locked in.
I'm, I'm most excited about MJFand.
Man, that's gonna be a reallygood match.
That's not the match I'm mostexcited for.
Oh, you're looking at Nigel.
I'm looking at the NigelMcGinness match.
Yeah.
Nigel and Saber.
I, that's going to be atechnical clinic.

(01:04:46):
It's gonna be awesome.
And the fact that at one pointwe didn't think Nigel was gonna
ever wrestle again and he is nowinvolved in his second London
event.
Yeah, because remember last yearhe came back in the, uh, battle
Royal in the gauntlet, in thecasino gauntlet.
Um, yeah, we will see you forforbidden a w new Japan

(01:05:09):
Forbidden Door August 24th.
Live in the O2 Arena in London.
And that one's gonna be a veryspecial one.
'cause not only will that one beposted on our Land C page, but
we will also be uploading itthrough the O Original Wrestling
Crossroads page as well.

(01:05:30):
So that one will be a nicelittle two for one.
I think it'll be a fun way toreally continue to set us up for
land agency in the future.
Um, and with that being said, weare out.
Anything else you want to touchon before we go?
No, we are all good.
Glad to have me back and I'mglad that this is all
