Real Madrid, who are coming off a draw against Sevilla in the Sanchez Pizjuan and a UCL Group Stage victory over Braga in Portugal, will now prepare to battle their bitter rivals from Northeastern Spain. Yes. That's right. Next up, El Clásico.
The Blaugrana come into this match missing key players, looking a bit unconvincing but fired up and invigorated by their youth prospects who have carried them across the finish line when they needed the win.
El Clásico, it has been said, is a game where recent form means little. Both teams come into the match wanting to deliver a knockout blow. Both teams want to win. And both fanbases want blood, figuratively of course.
