Preacher: Rev Luke Collings
John encourages his readers not to fall back into the patterns of hatred and violence that mark the world out for judgment, but instead to embrace practical Jesus-centred love for one another.

#8 - Mary's Unexpected Blessing (Jn 20:1-18)
Date: 31 March 2024 (Easter)

Mary Magdalene arrives at the empty tomb and believes that Jesus' body must have been stolen by his enemies. Although there is evidence to suggest that something quite different had happened, it is only when Mary encounters the resurrected Jesus personally that she understands the amazing truth.

Date: 24 March 2024 (Palm Sunday)

Does our place in the Kingdom of God give us the right to be proud or put ourselves over others? Or does the kind of Lord that Jesus came to be direct us to a better way - humility?
