The world and its powers and priorities are passing away, but in the meantime we will see many people presenting different pictures of Jesus in order to justify their own worldliness. The apostle John warns the churches about these people, and encourages them to remain faithful to the Christ they have always known.

Mary Magdalene arrives at the empty tomb and believes that Jesus' body must have been stolen by his enemies. Although there is evidence to suggest that something quite different had happened, it is only when Mary encounters the resurrected Jesus personally that she understands the amazing truth.

The Roman governor of Judea, Pontius Pilate, wanted to know if Jesus was a revolutionary leader preparing to overthrow the government. Jesus' answer to his questions reveal that the Kingdom of God was about more than political power.
