This "Yinz on the Street" episode is chock-full of goodness, yinzers!
You’re gonna hear from no less than 10 (!) folks at 2 different events – both involving young people and those who serve as mentors for them. Where the “on the street” part comes into play is that none of these interviews were officially set up ahead of time; Tressa attended each with the goal of chatting with participants or organizers.
First up is the Big Brothers Big Sisters Pittsburgh event, The BIG Draft, done in partnership with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Tressa talks with BBBSPGH's CEO, Marc Bloomingdale, and then with a Big Brother & Little Brother duo.
Then you'll hear from students who were attending Junior Achievement of Western PA's Empower HER Summit which brought together high school girls for a day of inspiration and growth.
And we'll hear from our Kindness Crate as well.
