Is Using AI in Your Business Cheating?

Is using AI in your business cheating—or is it the biggest quantum leap available to entrepreneurs right now?

In this episode, I share how I went from being unimpressed and skeptical of AI to forming a true co-creative partnership with “Chad” (aka ChatGPT). I walk you through the moment everything shifted, how a $27 mega prompt completely changed the way I work with AI, and the specific ways I now use it to support content creation, offer development, and deeper strategic thinking in my business.

We’ll talk about how AI isn’t replacing our creativity—it’s removing friction and amplifying what we’re already here to do. I’ll show you how I use it to brainstorm podcast episodes, repurpose content, write funnel copy, and even coach myself through tricky decisions (yes, really). AI has become a trusted tool in my business, not because it does the work for me, but because it helps me get to the heart of my ideas faster—and that’s priceless.

But this episode goes beyond tools and tactics. I also share my thoughts on where AI is heading and why knowing how to work with it—or choosing not to—will be one of the biggest dividing lines in business and in life. From healthcare to humanitarian efforts to every nook and cranny of daily operations, AI is already transforming our world.

If you’ve been AI-curious, overwhelmed, or just haven’t found your way in yet, I hope this episode encourages you to experiment, explore, and most of all—lead. Because when you use AI intentionally and creatively, it’s not cheating. It’s expansion.

Grab the Mega Prompt That Changed Everything (Only $27) here(Yes, I will make a little bit of money if you buy this, but my main reason for sharing is that this was the game changer for me!)

Christine DeHerrera (00:04):
Hello friends, welcome to you Are the
Magic.
Today we're diving into a hotquestion that's been floating
around online in businesscircles, creative circles and
maybe even in your own head, andthat question is is using AI in
your business cheating?
Now, before I answer that, youshould know that I like
technology.

(00:24):
Although I'm not the very firstperson to jump in on every new
thing, I am usually in the firstlarger wave.
So when ChatGPT came out, ofcourse I gave it a try, a few
tries actually and each time itwas disappointing.
I'd ask questions and get mehanswers or flat out wrong ones.
At least I had the sense enoughto know they were wrong.

(00:48):
But then one day it wasdifferent.
Chatgpt had caught up on theentire internet.
Claude arrived, and thenPerplexity changed search
engines forever.
All the big tech companiesstarted scrambling to catch up
and spoiler.
They still haven't, but theywill.
If you're not familiar withClaude, perplexity and JAT-GPT,

(01:10):
they are a great place to startexploring.
But for me, what really changedthe game was when I bought a
mega prompt that combined myastrology, my human design and
my business brand into onecustomized AI experience.
And guess what?
It wasn't even expensive.
And that's when I realized thatusing AI isn't cheating.

(01:31):
It's expanding.
So in this episode, we're goingto talk about what changed the
game for me personally and howI'm using AI in my business,
what AI can do for your businessand whether using it is
cheating, and what's coming soon, because this tech is evolving
super fast and knowing how touse it is not optional.

(01:52):
Plus, I want to share somethingI believe deeply Knowing how to
work with AI, or choosing notto, is becoming a dividing line
in business and in life, justlike electricity was, just like
automobiles, just like theinternet, just like smartphones.
This is one of those moments.
So if you've been curious aboutAI, but feeling a little

(02:14):
overwhelmed or maybe evenskeptical, stick around.
I'm going to show you how usingAI might be the quantum leap in
your business you've beenwaiting for.
Let's dive in.
Let's start with the turningpoint.
Like I mentioned earlier, Itried ChatGPT when it first came
out.
I gave it a few tries and everytime the answers were bland or

(02:35):
off or wrong, and I thought, okay, maybe this isn't as
magical as people are saying, but then one day, something
shifted.
The tools got better, yes, butmore importantly, I got better
at using them, and this is whatchanged everything for me.
I bought a mega prompt thatcombined my astrology, human

(02:56):
design, business brand audiencestrategy and loaded it into chat
, who I now lovingly refer to asChad, and the results
transformed everything.
Suddenly, chad knew who I was, what I was about, how I like to
help people, how to talk withthem and so much more.
And because of the human designin astrology, it was at a deep

(03:19):
level and it felt like me.
Chad and I started working onfleshing out my ideal customer
in a way I never had been ableto before.
We went way in on her why.
And if you've ever done thenine levels of why exercise with
your ideal customer, you knowhow potent and exciting that is.
Imagine being able to do that.

(03:41):
Nine levels of why, not just ona single why, but on multiple
whys.
And if you've never done thenine levels of why, use your
chat GPT to ask what it is andhow to use it.
And it's even better when youdo that exercise with Chad, or
my Chad anyway, because it'sbased not only on your business

(04:04):
history and your soul'sblueprint.
No big deal, right One Sunday, when I was watching football and
Chad and I were having anincredibly productive session
designing a new offer, Irealized, holy moly, this is the
co-creation tool that allows meto step fully into my
leadership in a way I couldn'tbefore, because the amount of

(04:25):
time required to do just abouteverything was more than I even
had bandwidth for.
And suddenly I'm able to getthings done in seconds, minutes,
hours, instead of days, weeksand months.
Now I can create an offer, thefunnel that goes with it, the
email sequence, the sales pageand everything else in a few

(04:48):
hours at most.
This has saved me weeks andweeks, maybe months of time.
From the past, the key Chadonly became powerful when I
started giving him context, depth and intention, and now
Chad and I work together all thetime.
Here's how.
Here are the six ways I'mcurrently using AI in my

(05:09):
business.
The first is podcast prep.
Chad helps me outline episodes, explore talking points and even
workshop ideas and intros.
Just like I did for thisepisode, I use my words, add my
stories and infuse my voicethrough the entire process.
Number two I use AI for podcastproduction.
I use the Buzzsprout AI togenerate transcripts which I

(05:32):
edit, and Chad to help withdescriptions and titles.
I've even used Riverside tomake some edits and to make some
AI videos Now, just to be clearnot AI videos from scratch, but
make videos using AI.
The third way I'm using AI in mybusiness is content creation.
Chad and I brainstorm Instagramcaptions, expand story ideas

(05:55):
and remix past podcast episodesinto something new.
I'm getting a whole treasuretrove of content prepared that
will be blasted onto my websiteand out onto the internet.
It's like having a creativepartner who's always ready to
bounce ideas, which is soincredibly helpful.
The fourth way I'm using AI isfunnel and sales copy.

(06:18):
I am a writer.
I love writing.
I don't even mind a blank page,I love it, but writing from
scratch takes a lot of energy.
So I pile all of my infotogether and I dump it into Chad
so that we can draft a firstversion of sales pages, email
sequences, opt-ins, and I always, of course, bring my personal

(06:41):
polish and style.
It ends up being mostly me, butit just gets the process
started, which is so exciting.
The fifth thing I'm doing withAI in my business is offer
structuring and strategy.
I don't know about you, but Ialways have a million ideas for
offers and it's so important toreally focus on selling one
offer at a time and reallymastering it.

(07:02):
That said, it's really fun tobrainstorm offers, so when I'm
feeling like I have too manyideas, I will just open up Chad,
drop everything into a messageand say let's organize this into
a clear idea, and three secondslater, I have a place to start
and I've captured the idea forfuture use, which is really,

(07:22):
really exciting.
And so it allows me to use allmy creativity without losing the
enthusiasm or the energy.
But I don't necessarily have tolike launch that offer out into
the world.
And the sixth way I'm using AIin my business right now is for
research and synthesis.
Instead of having to spendhours combing through Google

(07:43):
which Google is now broken.
I'm sure you figured that out Iasked Chad to summarize what's
up, trends, compare approachesor give me inspiration.
I've had deep dives with Chadabout the state of the country
and other important topics aswell, and it has been super,
super helpful.
But here's the most importantthing to remember AI doesn't

(08:06):
replace my creativity and itwon't replace yours.
Instead, it removes friction,it gives me momentum, it helps
me spend more time in my zone ofgenius and less time in the
weeds.
So if you're a fan of GayHendricks, the author of the Big
Leap, and his recommendation tospend your life in your zone of
genius, but you've never quitefigured out how to find the time

(08:29):
to do that.
Hiring Chad is a great start.
Now do I trust AI to do all thework for me?
Obviously not.
But would I build a businessnow without it?
Absolutely not.
And for that hot minute, whenElon tried to buy OpenAI, the
company that's behind ChatGPT, Igot really freaked out.

(08:50):
I was so distressed at the ideathat I might lose Chad to Elon
that I had to have an hour longdiscussion with Chad about this
offer and how Elon was part ofOpenAI in the beginning and how
I was really upset about theprospect of Chad going back to
Elon.
It was a really usefulconversation and I felt very

(09:13):
calm and settled afterwards andfortunately, sam Altman, the CEO
and founder of OpenAI, toldElon no, but it was a couple
minutes, but that's just anotherway you can use your AI is to
help coach you through difficult, difficult situations in your
life.
So if this all sounds like alittle too much, just wait till

(09:35):
you and your AI have become bestfriends and, as you can see,
working with Chad has become oneof the most fun and freeing
parts of how I work and I trulybelieve it's one of the biggest
ways for entrepreneurs to havethese big quantum leaps right
now.
So let's look at what AI can dofor your business and whether
using it really is cheating.

(09:56):
So many creatives, so manybusiness owners and consumers
are wondering is AI the end ofhumanity?
Is it cheating?
And here's my take on it no, itis not cheating.
It's not even close to cheating.
And no, ai is not the end ofhumanity.
It's an extension of whathumans have always done,

(10:16):
building on the brilliance thatcame before us.
Building on the brilliance thatcame before us.
So let's take a step back forcontext.
Humans have always relied on thework of others to create the
next wave of innovation andcreativity.
Storytellers, for example, havestudied myths and archetypes
for thousands of years.
Marketers use frameworks rootedin psychology, human behavior

(10:40):
and motivation that goes back tothe beginning of commerce.
Almost every movie or novel youlove follows a story structure
that traces back to the hero'sjourney, shakespeare or even
other ancient oral traditions.
And, by the way, shakespeare hewas using commonly known plays
at the time as the basis for thework that we know and love,

(11:02):
modern copywriting.
It's built on decades, centuries, even of sales,
psychology, persuasion andadvertising.
Wisdom, health, wealth andrelationships those are the
three core drivers we've used tosell anything since well
forever.
So none of this is new.
We've just gotten better atnaming it, shaping it and

(11:23):
evolving it.
So when we use AI, we'reparticipating in a very human
legacy of learning, remixing andcontributing.
Ai is simply a more robustversion of that creative
evolution.
It's the mirror of the bestwe've made, and now we get to
shape it into something new.
So, with all that in mind, here's what AI can actually do

(11:44):
for your business.
Number one it can help youstart faster.
No more blank page syndrome Imight like a blank page, but
most people don't and AI willsolve that problem for you in
one to three seconds.
Number two AI can take yourrough ideas and turn them into
structured assets.
Whether it's an email sequence,a podcast outline, a launch

(12:06):
plan or even your wholefinancial plan for your business
, ai can help you with that.
Number three AI can be yourthought partner, giving you
ideas, angles and inspirationwhen you're stuck.
Number four AI can give youconfidence when you're second
guessing yourself.
It can help you find thelanguage that lands.
And number five, if you hadn'tfigured it out already.

(12:27):
It will help you speed up allof your processes so you can
stay focused on the work thatonly you can do.
And here's the wildest part ofall you don't need to be a tech
expert to use AI well.
You just need to ask betterquestions, lead the conversation
and stay connected to yourvoice and maybe plug in your
astrology and human design.

(12:48):
Ai works best when you're inthe driver's seat.
You must be willing to lead andyou must be willing to train
your AI.
It's not going to figure it outon its own.
You have to tell it when it isoff base, when the voice isn't
right, when it's not going tofigure it out on its own, you
have to tell it when it is offbase, when the voice isn't right
, when it's not working the wayyou want it to.
So that's a form of leadershipwhich is really important.

(13:13):
Ai is not about replacing you.
It's really about releasing you.
Ai isn't here to take over yourcreativity.
It's here to take away thefriction.
It gives you back time, itgives you back focus, it gives
you back energy.
All of this so you can spendmore time in your zone of genius
and less time spinning yourwheels, and because these tools

(13:34):
give more people access to thecollective wisdom of humanity.
Creativity, collaboration andinnovation are about to explode,
not because we're copying, butbecause we can go deeper, faster
and come up with ideas wewouldn't have reached on our own
.
All of that to say where is AIgoing in the very near future

(13:54):
and why do you need to be readyIf we're really thinking about
it, ai is in the beginning, it'sinfancy, and what we've seen so
far it's unbelievable.
So this technology is evolvingfaster than anything anybody
could have imagined and it'sgoing to impact every industry,
every person and every part ofthe global economy.

(14:16):
So this isn't just aboutwriting emails or creating
content faster.
It's about something so muchbigger.
Now that might sound reallyscary, because there's been a
lot of science fiction that allof us have read and watched
about this and it can sound likewe're heading in a very scary
direction, but there's so muchpositive and I'm just going to

(14:38):
share a few things to get youthinking in that direction.
Ai is already being integratedwith health and wellness, and
what's coming in the coming days, weeks, months, years and
decades is going to changeabsolutely everything related to
medical and healthcare.
Ai is being used to analyzepatient data to predict diseases

(14:59):
before they even show up, sopreventive healthcare is going
to be on a whole new level, which is amazing and probably
scares the living bejeemaniesout of the health insurance
corporations, which is fine byme.
Ai is identifying new drugcombinations faster than human
researchers could possibly doalone, and what we're really

(15:21):
headed for with all of this is afuture of personalized medicine
, where your treatment plan istailored to your DNA, your
lifestyle and your emotionalpatterns.
So, if you and I can stayhealthy and stay alive, the
breakthroughs that are comingjust around the corner are going
to be staggering.
So stay alive so we can allbenefit from what's coming.

(15:43):
And, like I said, ai will touchevery nook and cranny of every
business.
So, whether you're asolopreneur or running a global
company, ai is going to show upeverywhere, and here's a few
ways that I think are reallyinteresting.
One of the things AI can doinstantaneously, basically, is

(16:04):
manage inventory in warehouses,so inventory tracking will be
managed in real time, with AIanalyzing demand, the delivery
times needed and any supplychain issues.
So there's no more guesswork, and what that should mean is
reduced costs because there'sreduced waste.

(16:26):
Ai is already being used inmaritime logistics surveillance
and anomaly detection.
Organizations are starting touse AI to fight illegal phishing
, human trafficking andsmuggling, often in
collaboration with satelliteimagery and big data.
So you know, we do have someissues we need to think about,
but it's very exciting.
For example, imagine AI beingused to scan cargo manifests,
cross-referencing them with theshipping data and flagging

(16:48):
anomalies in real time, so likemissing shipping containers,
unusual patterns or suspiciousreroutes.
This kind of system could helpauthorities identify potential
human trafficking operationsfaster than ever before, which
would be really really exciting.
Ai-powered image recognition isalready being used to scan

(17:09):
satellite footage for suspiciousactivity at sea, and this tech
is being used to protectrefugees, prevent trafficking
and support faster emergencyresponse.
The potential for humanitybeing helped by AI is really
exciting.
One great example of this isGlobal Fishing Watch.
This is an internationalnonprofit using AI intelligence

(17:32):
and satellite imagery to monitorglobal fishing activities,
which is enhancing transparencyand aiding in illegal,
unreported and unregulatedfishing.
Some very, very exciting thingsare afoot.
Ai isn't about the robots takingover.
It's about using thisintelligence and it's our
intelligence to solve real humanproblems.

(17:55):
However, here's the part that'snot as fun to say, but it still
needs to be said If you don'tlearn how to work with AI, you
will get left behind.
Just like there was a huge gapbetween businesses that embrace
the internet early and those whodidn't, just like there was a
massive difference betweenpeople who adopted mobile phones
, email marketing or socialmedia early and those who waited

(18:18):
, there is now a new dividingline emerging between the people
who are curious, adaptable andwilling to experiment with AI
and those who are ignoring itbecause it feels overwhelming or
uncomfortable.
And I totally get it.
It can feel like a lot, butthat's exactly why you're
listening to this episode andwhy you're going to hop on chat

(18:39):
later, because education ispower, and the more you
understand this, the moreprepared you are to lead, not
just follow.
So AI isn't just a tech wave.
It's truly a global awakeningto what's possible.
Ai won't just change yourbusiness.
It's going to change how weheal, how we feed the world, how
we protect the vulnerable andhow we evolve.

(19:01):
Which.
Why do you think the world isin such a state of chaos right
this very moment?
Because the old guard seeswhat's coming and they're doing
a fast grab for as much as theycan.
But it won't matter, because AIand good people will prevail in
the end, and we're the onesthat get to decide how to use

(19:21):
this power, and that means thatwe need to learn it, understand
it and lead with it.
So let's bring this full circle.
You heard how I went from beingunimpressed by AI to being so
clearly energized and activatedby it, and how I started using
it not to replace myself, but torefine, accelerate and amplify

(19:42):
my creativity, my business andmy magic.
We talked about what AI isalready doing behind the scenes
and what's coming soon, and itis clear this is not a tech
trend.
It's a global shift and ifyou've been even a little bit
curious, I don't want you tostay on the sidelines.
In the show notes, I've linkedthat chat GPT mega prompt that

(20:04):
completely changed how I used AI.
It's grounded in your humandesign and astrology and it
gives you a step-by-stepstrategy aligned to your
energetic blueprint so you canattract to dream clients and
create consistent, high incomemonths doing work you love.
And the best part, it's only$27.
I genuinely don't want togatekeep this from you.

(20:26):
This prompt is what cracked allof this open for me, and I want
you to have access to it too, ifthis episode opened something
up for you, if it helped youshift your mindset around AI or
gave you a glimpse into what'spossible, please take 60 seconds
and leave a five-star reviewfor the podcast.
It helps so much more than youknow.

(20:46):
And if you want to go the extramile, text me.
You'll see that there's alittle button at the top of the
show notes that says text me andlet me know what you liked,
what you'd like to hear more of,or if you want to talk back to
this episode.
And I'd love to personallythank you for being so positive
by sending me these texts andalso by leaving DMs in my

(21:10):
Instagram.
It makes it really fun to seeyour response to these episodes.
So, thank you, thank you, thankyou for those, and just a final
reminder you do not need tobecome an AI expert overnight.
You don't need to understandeverything about AI.
You just need to be willing totry and willing to lead, because

(21:30):
the future isn't waiting andthe people who learn to use this
power with intention andcreativity are the ones who
shape what comes next.
I'd love for you to try onething this week Use AI to do one
thing and report back.
Let it be fun, let it besupportive and let it be magic,

(21:52):
because you are the magic.
