Part2: I once sat on a panel of all White men and me in an audience of cultural diverse people who were there to share their experience with the powers of the patriarch about the lack of opportunities they had to work. Sadly. the male panelists were more interested in talking about what they had done to support diversity rather than listening to here what still needed to be done to improve diversity. One of them, argued that it should be his right to cast a dog if he wanted to. That speaker was Dick Cavett, who was deaf and dumb to how offensive it is to compare casting of people of color with casting a dog. My next guest is one of the smartest people I know and was the co-founder of the original Non-Traditional casting project join me in welcoming Harry Newman.
