Welcome back to the YGTT Book Club, You Gotta Read This!

I announce my pick on the first Friday of every month. It might be an old favorite or a new find. Grab a copy and we’ll read it together!

April is National Poetry Month, and I love poetry. This month’s selection is a new favorite: A Bit Much, by Lyndsay Rush. It’s been described as poetry for people who didn’t know they liked poetry, so if that’s you, give it a try! She’s clever and witty, and uses humor to describe the female experience. In this episode, you’ll hear the titular poem, “She’s A Bit Much,” which is one of my favorites.

You can find this book and all the books we’ve ever recommended on the show in our Bookshop, which supports independent booksellers. (We get a kickback from all purchases there too.)

Let us know what you think about it! Send us your thoughts recommendations, and delights to us at yougottatrythispodcast@gmail.com. Find us on Instagram @ Yougottatrythispodcast.
