Today's guest of You Know How to Live is Sophia Benoit! Sophia Benoit's new memoir, Well, This Is Exhausting, was named a Best Book of the Month by Vogue, Good Morning America, Fortune, Goodreads, and more. Benoit is a writer and comedian who grew up in Missouri and was correctly voted “Most Likely to Never Come Back.” She writes sex and relationship advice for GQ and Bustle and has had bylines in Allure, Refinery29, The Cut, The Guardian, and more.
In this episode, Sophia shares how she became a writer and what it was like to live out her dream from youth of publishing her first book. We get to hear the details of her work routine for optimal productivity, down to her number one amp song! We also discuss tendencies we shared as young women to shape our personalities and interests to the guys in our lives (does that resonate!?) and growing out of that toxic rhythm.
