Scott Parker is a theatre-maker and creative director of his own theatre company, Matriark Theatre.
He also created a theatre show called ‘Hillsong Boy’, which recounts his experiences as a worship leader at Hillsong Church.
In this conversation, we explore Scott's journey as a worship leader at Hillsong Church, and his experience coming out as queer within the church. We also discuss the distinction between the church and Jesus, as well as the creation of his solo theatre show, 'Hillsong Boy'.
Scott is partnering with the Australian Cultural Fund to raise money to take ‘Hillsong Boy’ on tour, you can donate here: https://shorturl.at/ck6Nq
