Dr. Karen Pack is a religious historian, ordained Christian minister, and marriage celebrant. Her doctoral research examines the marginalisation and erasure of women and LGBTQ+ Christians from Australian religious histories.
In this conversation, we explore her early experiences in the church, and her journey of coming out as gay, and we challenge the biblical interpretations often used to justify anti-gay sentiments, while also delving into atonement theory.
