God determined the Way for man to be accepted by Him and to enter Heaven by his Grace in Jesus Christ.   The Tower of Babel was not only evidence of the futility of men’s attempt to reach God or heaven by self righteousness and self-determination but also of God’s compassionate mercy who disrupted their erroneous judgment. 
GOD is HOLY!   Only the holy and righteous covering of GOD, Jesus Christ will protect man in the presence of God’s  Holiness, revealed as a consuming fire. John the beloved disciples, proclaims of the Way, stating , “Jesus Christ is the Way, the Shepherd and Gate leading us through the narrows of holiness and righteousness, presenting us acceptable to GOD. “ John 10-1:10, NIV.
