Gertha "Gigi" Jean is the CEO of One Way InsuranceGroup and Founder of BLB Global Consulting, in Seaford, DE and specializes in Commercial Insurance solutions for Non-Profit organizations. A product of a Haitian household living in the Bahamas, she was raised in a home with no indoor plumbing or electricity. With childhood dreams of becoming a Broadway performer, she decided to honor her parents' dream of pursuing education after the passing of her father. While in college, she began working for a localinsurance agency, helping to translate for French and Creole speakers for the agency owners. Gigi found herself enjoying the conversations and decided to pursue a career in the industry, eventually opening an agency with her husbandwhile pregnant with her first child. Nearly a decade later, she runs a thriving family-owned firm, has become a thought leader, influencer, and a mentor to others who want to maximize brand authenticity, using her creativity andexpertise to shine a new light on the most underrated industry in business today...
