What do you wish I asked this guest? What was your "quotable moment" from this episode?

Virginia, a Tucson-based mystic and tarot reader, takes us on her enchanting journey of spiritual rediscovery. From early ghostly encounters that initially shut down her metaphysical abilities to reawakening her mystical path five years ago, her story is one of fearlessly embracing one's authentic self. Virginia's daily rituals—like stirring coffee with blessings and using protective imagery during showers—infuse intention into everyday moments, offering a glimpse into her unique spiritual practices. Her crystal "armor" for aura protection and her range of products, including scrubs, bath bombs, and candles, reflect her dedication to blending energy with creativity.

Navigating the intersection of mysticism and capitalism is no easy feat, and Virginia candidly shares her experiences with imposter syndrome and the frustration of relying solely on spiritual gifts for material needs. She highlights the role of intuitive insights and spirit guide communication in affirming one's path, while also stressing the importance of ethical discussions within the witch community to dispel misconceptions. Rejuvenating spiritual energy by connecting with nature and the accessibility of these practices help Virginia maintain balance and authenticity in her mystical endeavors.

Virginia's journey is also about honoring those who have influenced her path. By crafting personalized items like candles and jewelry, she pays tribute to figures who have shaped her spiritual and professional life. Her advice to newcomers in the mystical realm is empowering: believe in your potential and take up space. With her daughter, Virginia creates jewelry, emphasizing regular cleansing rituals as a cornerstone of spiritual health. Her story intertwines mysticism, creativity, and personal growth, offering inspiration for listeners eager to explore their own spiritual journeys. Explore Virginia's world further by diving into scents like 'Self-Love' and 'Surrender,' each narrating a chapter of her spiritual evolution.

Kimothy (00:04):
Welcome back to your Average Witch where every
Tuesday, we talk about witchlife, witch stories and
sometimes a little witchcraft.
In this episode, I'm talkingwith Virginia, a witch and tarot
reader.
Here in Tucson.
We talked about growing up withghosts, working with nature and
scrubs, composts, working withnature and scrubs.
If you'd like to get a readingfrom Virginia, she'll be doing

(00:31):
readings at the Ninth House, atLibra and Thorn and at Bookman's
in 2025.
Now let's get to the stories.
Virginia, good morning, welcometo the show.

Virginia (00:40):
Good morning.
Thanks for having me.

Kimothy (00:49):
Thanks for being here.
Can you please introduceyourself and let?

Virginia (00:50):
everybody know who you are and what you do and where
they can find you.
Sure, my name is Virginia.
My business name is VictoriousVisions with V.
I am a tarot reader intuitive.
I use a lot of intuition toengage with people's guides and
provide messages.
I am on Instagram atvictoriousvisionswithv and I'm

(01:16):
also currently at Libra andThorn reading every Friday and
every other Sunday.

Kimothy (01:24):
Yay, that's near me kind of.
What does it mean to you whenyou call yourself a witch?

Virginia (01:33):
Well and okay.
So if I'm going to be real Kim,I actually prefer the term
mystic, because so much of whatI do is not necessarily
witch-like but more mystical.
So what it means to be a mysticfor me is getting in touch with

(01:53):
my intuition and allowing thatto guide how I live my life.

Kimothy (02:00):
What kind of family history do you have with
mysticism or metaphysicalpractice or witchcraft?

Virginia (02:12):
So back when I was really little, my sister and I
lived in the basement of ourfamily house and my sister kept
talking about how there was thisghost and it scared the crap
out of me.
And at that point I had heardum clear audience, using my

(02:34):
clear audience, I had heard thisentity in our family room
playing with a microphone.
Um, and so that point I kind ofgot very scared and shut down
any and everything of all of theabilities that I might have had
or had access to at that time, just because it scared me.

(02:58):
And growing up I really didn'tengage with any of that.
It wasn't until about fiveyears ago that I started dipping
my toe back into this realmbecause I knew there was more
out there.
As far as like family, I don'tknow, because we don't talk

(03:21):
about that in my family, ofcourse not.
Yeah, it's kind of like wedon't talk about Bruno.
We don't talk about that in myfamily, of course not.
Yeah, it's kind of like wedon't talk about Bruno, we don't
talk about that.
But what I have come to realizein my current life and how I
live my life now, is that themore I open myself up to this

(03:44):
idea that there's a bigger worldout there than my 3D reality,
the bigger my reality gets.
So I just continue to be openand do different things that
allow me to continue to grow.

Kimothy (04:01):
Can you introduce us to your practice?
Do you have any consistent ormaybe even daily things that you
do?

Virginia (04:07):
Oh, yes, okay.
So I'm all about like buildingpractices into everyday things.
So stirring my coffee, we stirit clockwise and we put the
intention of having blessingsflow into my day.
Different practices that I havefor protection.

(04:32):
That always takes place in theshower or the bath.
So I envision that that waterrushing over is a protective
layer, that that water rushingover is a protective layer and
it provides my 3D reality, thismeat suit of a body with the

(04:52):
protection to be able to go outinto the world.
Now, as I've grown in thispractice, I also so I with my
business I have different scrubsthat I use.
I use a sugar scrub at thebeginning of the day to add
sweetness into my day and then, depending on what I'm getting

(05:16):
into that day, I have differenttypes of scrubs.
So I use a self-love scrub if Ineed just a little bit of extra
love.
I have a forgiveness scrubwhich I love to use on my feet,
especially now because I'mforgiving the people who are
trying to walk all over myability to be a woman in society

(05:42):
.
So, again, I build those thingsinto my day.
I also have a surrender scrubwhich I've been using a lot
lately and I use it on my chakrapoints, to be able to surrender
my will and allow the betterwill for humanity, for our

(06:07):
existence, to take over.
So again, there's lots ofdifferent things.
I don't know if we have time togo into all of them, but one of
my most favorite things is,after I've done the whole act of
creating this barrier on mybody, as I'm stepping out and

(06:29):
drying off, I envision myselfbeing I put on my crystal.
Armor is what I call it.
So when it's a piece of crystal, it refracts whatever people
are trying to penetrate my aurawith.
It reflects it back onto them.
So that's probably the mostimportant part of the everyday

(06:52):
rituals.
Another thing that I like to dobefore I enter my house, upon
coming back from the day of allthe things, is shaking off any
negativity that might have stuckto me before I enter my own
space.
So it's like a car wash, so tospeak, of being able to release

(07:18):
what's not mine, because as anempath, I attract a lot of other
people's energy.
Does that make sense?
There's a lot of differentthings that I do throughout the
day that other people wouldconsider witchcraft, but I just

(07:39):
consider it part of my quirkypersonality.
So I hope that answered yourquestion.

Kimothy (07:50):
It did, and can people buy that from you on the
internet?

Virginia (07:55):
They can, the scrubs, and they're also I just dropped
them at Libra and Thorn.
So all of my products, myscrubs, them at Libra and Thorn.
So all of my products, myscrubs, my bath bombs, which
have hidden crystals, which, again, I do a lot of moon work.
So this past weekend, with thesuper full moon, I did soaks and
, um, I have a magnesium spray.

(08:18):
I do candles which are infusedwith energy, um, so yeah, this
is all available at Libra andThorn and through my website.

Kimothy (08:31):
Nice, how would you say ?
Your practice has changed yourlife.

Virginia (08:40):
It opened me up to the world of mysticism.
So, prior to really diving intothis, I was just well, what do
you call it?
Normies.
I was a normie going about mybusiness and just letting things
happen to me.

(09:01):
Now I realize the power that Ihave to call in what I want.
So that's been probably thebiggest change being able to
manifest.

Kimothy (09:16):
I just want to point out that you and I met at a
function at the Ninth House, which is a metaphysical shop
here in Tucson, and that weended up knowing the same person
, one of the people that was inthe human design business class
that I took I don't remember howlong one or two years ago.
I don't have a concept of time.

(09:36):
That works very well is how weknow each other and is helping
Virginia, along with herbusiness, like that group helped
me.

Virginia (09:46):
Yes.

Kimothy (09:47):
And I think that's cool .

Virginia (09:48):
It's a very small world when you get in tune with
the energy around you.
And I call her CB.
That's how she introducedherself to me, but she's the one
who actually gave me permissionto figure out what my gifts
were and how to use them.

(10:10):
So they're a wonderful person.
I truly admire her.

Kimothy (10:18):
What's the biggest motivator in your practice and
has it changed since you firststarted?

Virginia (10:23):
Yes, so it has changed .
Even though I'm a?
Yes, so it has changed.
Even though I'm a baby at this,it has changed.
My biggest motivator is to beas authentic as possible and how
I can support my clients in thework that I do, and the biggest
motivator is being able toaccess and do different things

(10:48):
for different clients.
Um, and it changes.
So it changes each day and forevery person.
Um, sometimes it's tarot cards.
Sometimes it makes no sensethat cards that come out with
the message that I have to say.
Other times it's I will createnew products or new things

(11:15):
because someone says I need thator I need this.
So my whole motivation is toshow up as authentic as I can be
and provide and support peoplearound me with the gifts that I
have.

Kimothy (11:36):
I love that.
Thank you.
What is your biggest strugglewith your practice?

Virginia (11:45):
What is your biggest struggle with your practice?
The biggest struggle is livingin society, mysticism and things
that are beyond 3D reality.

(12:06):
Having to function within that3D reality, especially the
capitalistic 3D reality.
That is a major struggle.
I wish I could pay my rent onwitchcraft, but that's not what
happens.
So, yeah, that's my biggeststruggle that balance.

Kimothy (12:33):
I also wish I could pay .
I also wish that.

Virginia (12:38):
Right, I think everybody would.
I mean, if we didn't have toworry about capitalism and we
could just do what we're good at, wouldn't society look
different?

Kimothy (12:52):
Damn it, money is stupid.

Virginia (12:56):
It is, it's very stupid.

Kimothy (13:02):
Do you ever have self-doubt or imposter syndrome
about your practice?
Of course, and if so how do youbeat it?

Virginia (13:10):
Oh gosh, you know, Kim , I'm so glad that we had this
conversation this week and notlast week.

Kimothy (13:18):
Yeah, I spent the whole week crying.

Virginia (13:20):
Well, and I spent the whole week trying not to get
stuck in that.
But I understand 100%.
So, yes, I suffer from impostersyndrome.
I think if you are a humanliving in a meat suit body in
this 3D reality, you're going tosuffer from imposter syndrome.

(13:41):
But what's wonderful is whenyour guides or your intuition
show up and say hey, youactually know what you're doing.
So can I give you an example ofwhat happened to me last week?

Kimothy (13:57):
I love examples.

Virginia (13:59):
Okay.
So I was in the process ofsaving a person's number into my
phone and they told me adifferent name but I just put in
I'm just going to say Susie.
I put in Susie.
We had only communicated viatext and voicemail, so I hadn't

(14:22):
had actual contact with thisperson.
So Susie calls me and I callher by Susie, which was not the
name she gave me.
She just was like how'd youknow that name?
And I was like that's not yourname.
She goes that's my real name.
I gave you my middle name and Iwas like I always do this thing

(14:46):
when something like that happens, I look up and I just go thank
you.
And it was not audible to Susie, of course, but I'm like thank
you.
I needed that to remind me that, yes, while it may be strange
and odd and weird, my intuitionis intact and it's guiding me.

(15:09):
So that was a main one that hitlast week that I was like well,
if I didn't think I had giftsbefore, I think I do now,
because she was calling herselfsomething else.
So imposter syndrome is realand I guess, whenever I do feel

(15:29):
that coming on more, I lean onmy guides and my spirit team to
give me the concrete proof thatthis is real.
This is actually the life thatI'm living and it's it's meant
to be other than the fact thatyou kind of seemed like a

(15:56):
stalker.

Kimothy (15:57):
I agree that would make me uncomfortable.
I'd be like what are?
What have you been doing?
Yeah, you've been Googling me.

Virginia (16:05):
Well, and she was like I didn't even say, and I was
like yeah, I don't know how Iknew that one and it, this was
again.
This was in a normie sense.
I was, oh no, I was going ah,this is awkward, thank you for

(16:27):
that, but can you like do thatwhen it's not so awkward.

Kimothy (16:35):
You're making me seem dangerous.
Can we not do that?
What is your favorite tool inyour practice?
It doesn't have to be aphysical thing.
It can be like a certain smellthat you like, like you burn

(16:55):
some incense, or like a song um,well, and this is gonna sound
strange, but it's my ability tocommunicate.

Virginia (17:12):
It doesn't have to be out loud and it doesn't have to
be with anyone else, something, and then all of a sudden, bam,
it shows up or in some way orsomething like that is one of my
favorite tools that I use and Iuse it all the time.
So my communication with myspirit team, that is a huge tool

(17:38):
for me, and being able tofigure out how different ways
that that works, and being ableto figure out how different ways
that that works, that's, that'sbeen it's really cool.
It's been super fun Let me justput it that way Super fun.
It was very scary in thebeginning, but now I am able to
set boundaries and be like no,we're not doing that.

(17:59):
That's not okay.
That's about a hard no, we likeI want to keep this
relationship going, but nope.
So that's the thing that I usethe most.

Kimothy (18:15):
That's one of the most interesting answers I've gotten
to that question.
Yeah, that's cool.
Yeah, that's neat.

Virginia (18:21):
Yeah, that's neat, well, and it doesn't create or
require anything but my mind, which I love because I can take
it anywhere with me.
I don't have to have a specialcrystal or anything.

Kimothy (18:44):
It's literally just my mind.

Virginia (18:50):
How do you pull yourself out of a magical slump?
Uh, go to mount lemon or naturewater, hug a tree, surround
myself and ground myself innature.
Um, that is how I get out ofthe slumps.

Kimothy (19:03):
I still haven't been at Mount Lemmon.
Oh so, and now it's cold andI'm not going to go because it
snowed.
No, thank you.

Virginia (19:10):
Well, I went up there after the first snow and it was
magical.

Kimothy (19:15):
I like to look at it, but it's above 60.
I think it's gotten above 60and I'm freezing and I'm angry
about it Right now in my house.
I hate wearing all theseclothes and a freaking blanket.
I just want to wear shorts anda tank top always, I know, I

(19:36):
know.
Anyway, what is something youwish was discussed more in the
witch community?

Virginia (19:47):
Ethics, ethics what practices are ethical and what
are not?
I think that if we as acommunity had more open
discussions about ethics, wewouldn't be seen as the villains

(20:12):
in the story.

Kimothy (20:19):
I think we probably would be, because of the way at
least the Christians that I seeout running their mouths, but
we'd have more defense.

Virginia (20:29):
Yeah, and of course, there's always going to be those
who just want to burn usregardless because we're
different.
But I do think that ethics as acommunity, if that was more of
an open topic, I think that wewould be stronger as a community
.

Kimothy (20:51):
I agree.
When I see it brought up, likeon Facebook, it gets shut down
one way or another, no matterwhich.
Whether it's hey, I have noproblem cursing someone, or you
should absolutely never cursesomeone, it's always shut down
really fast.

Virginia (21:07):
Yeah, yeah, and I think that if we talked about it
more as a community and again,I think that would help babies
like you know, newbies be ableto find the communities that
they're more comfortable in,because then they could align
with people who have the samebeliefs.

Kimothy (21:33):
I agree.
Think about the three biggestinfluences on your practice,
whether it's people or books orsome scientific theory whatever.
Thank them for the effect theyhave on your practice.

Virginia (21:54):
Oh well, I would you know, because I'm a creator, I
actually did this last night.
Oh, because I'm a creator, Iactually did this last night.
Oh, Kim, that's so weird.
I created a candle for one ofmy very good friends in this
practice and I can't wait it'sdon't tell her, it's going to be

(22:19):
a birthday present Um, but thatis honestly creating something
to honor those individuals orjust those things that help me,
like, specifically, nature.
Creating something to honor that.

(22:40):
That's how.
That's how I do it.
Um, so, like for one of myfriends that was creating a
scent for nature, it would becreating, um, I, I create a lot
of, uh, a lot of jewelry, andone of my favorite, um, sacred

(23:01):
geometry pieces is the tree oflife, and that is a.
It's paying homage.
Homage to nature and to theability to, for nature to
reground me and recenter me andallow me to get back into
contact with the, the earth.
Um, and uh, yeah, I think.

(23:24):
I think that that's how I honorand thank those around me is by
creating things for them thatalso honor their journey.

Kimothy (23:39):
But who are they, who are your three or what are your
three biggest influences?

Virginia (23:44):
Okay, so I would say my biggest three are, well,
melissa um, who was the formerowner of the ninth house.
She she led one of the tarotclasses that I took like the

(24:05):
first tarot class that I took, and she introduced me to the
world of tarot and that openedup such a big door for me.
So she was one.
I would say that CB is anotherone, because she gave me
permission to be big and figureout what it is that I can do.

(24:29):
And what I loved about that wasshe didn't tell me like these
are the gifts that you have.
No, she was like yeah, you havegifts.
Figure it out, I'm not doing itfor you, that's not my job.
Figure it out, I'm not doing itfor you, that's not my job.
So, and and that's that's andby not like putting me in a box

(24:59):
or saying, oh, you are a mediumor oh, you are a, a, a, you know
a healer by not putting a nameon it, it allowed me to grow
into different versions andabilities, if that makes sense,
you became an alchemist.
Yes, and that's it.
Yes, I became an alchemist andbeing able to turn some pretty

(25:26):
sour stuff into some prettybeautiful stuff, um, and then
the, the, and she's not thefinal person, but she has had
such a huge impact on me, myfriend Kinsey, because we get to

(25:46):
be as different as we want tobe and nobody we don't go.
Well, that's too weird.
Like, we just allow it, we justallow each other and having
that space and that friendshipto be able to explore all of the

(26:09):
things, regardless of how weirdit may seem in mainstream or to
normies like.
Just having that space and thatperson to be that free with
that's amazing and I, yeah.
So I think those would be thethree people.

Kimothy (26:28):
I love that Melissa was actually the first person I
ever interviewed.

Virginia (26:39):
Was she?
She's amazing.
Yeah, I really love her.
Yeah, she's amazing.
When I took that class it wasso funny.
On the last day of class I'msitting there reading cards and
I'm like I'm going to read atthe ninth house one day.
And sure enough, that's where Istarted reading was at the
ninth house.
Um and I'm there occasionally.

(27:02):
I just haven't been there.
I've only been there once inNovember, just because of time.
It's the holidays, you know.

Kimothy (27:10):
Mm-hmm.

Virginia (27:12):
So yeah.

Kimothy (27:16):
What advice do you have for somebody just starting out
in their practice?

Virginia (27:31):
take up space and allow yourself to get bigger,
because the only way that youfigure out what you're capable
of is if you believe in yourselfand you take up the space.
That's.
That was the permission that Ineeded, that I got and that
allowed me to be able to dodifferent things.

Kimothy (27:53):
Now that you've talked to me and seen what these
questions are like and how Iinteract when you answer them,
who do you think I should haveon the show?

Virginia (28:04):
Oh gosh, I would say if you could get CB, that would
be fabulous.
And also I have a couple offriends that would be fabulous

(28:27):
to interview as well.
I'm not going to say theirnames on right now because I
don't know if they would agreeto it, but I have a couple of
people who I would definitely belike, hey, you need to go
interview with.

Kimothy (28:38):
Is there anything else you wanted to talk about
anything?
I didn't ask anything happeningwith you, any questions you had
for me ask anything happeningwith you, any questions you had
for me.
Well, if I could talk about myproduct line for a second.

Virginia (28:55):
Is that okay?
I would love it.
Okay.
So I created several differentscents, and what I love to tell
people about is the journey thatI had to go through in order to
create these scents, because itliterally is a walk through my
spiritual journey.
So the first scent that Icreated is called self-love, and

(29:18):
the reason I created that wasbecause, in order for me to do
any of this work, I had to allowmyself to love myself, and I
know in this society, in thisday and age, a lot of people we
don't have that ability to loveourselves, where we are and who
we are.
So for me, that journey wasreally accepting that I had to

(29:44):
go through all of the pardon, myFrench the shit that I went
through to be able to get to theperson that I was when I
created that scent, and that isthe journey that I was supposed
to go on.
So, after I created self-love,then I createdrender, because I

(30:05):
had to surrender my will to thewill of the universe to take me
on this journey.
And while I was surrendering,it was the song by Tom Petty
Free Falling kept coming into myhead, because that's how it

(30:26):
felt Tom Petty free falling keptcoming into my head, because
that's how it felt, like I wasjust free falling off a cliff
but allowing myself to be caughtby my guides and keep going.
So I had to surrender in orderto go to the next step.
For me, the next step wasforgiveness, and this took a lot

(30:51):
, and I'm not talking aboutforgiving someone else.
I'm talking about forgivingmyself for not acknowledging and
being fearful of my spiritualjourney, because for the longest
time, I was not beingauthentically myself and it was

(31:13):
because I was afraid, and so Ihad to forgive myself to be able
to move forward.
I will say that I got stuck onthat step for a while and I had
to sit in that and really allowmyself to release.
And again, this is notsomething that you just do once.

(31:35):
There's times when I still goand I light my forgiveness
candle because I internalizesomething that's not necessarily
mine or I pick up somethingthat I had already put down to
be able to move to the next step.
So after I was able tounderstand that forgiveness

(31:58):
again, it's continual then Imoved into the next step.
All right, so once I forgavemyself, then I was able to
actually dive into my intuitionand really explore different
ways that I can use my intuition, that my intuition shows up for

(32:23):
me and that moved on to myability to communicate and so
that that that brought me to, uh, the communication scent and
that really has allowed me tonot only communicate very easily
with my own team, my own guides, but also with those of other

(32:46):
people.
And then came the abundance.
So being able to rely on thosegifts to call in the abundance
that I know that is there for me.
So with those different scentsthat I created, I was able to

(33:08):
make candles for each of thosescents.
I created the sugar and saltscrubs for each of those, um, I,
um, I'm in the process ofcreating a magnesium soak for
all of those scents, um, so thatjourney has been that really

(33:32):
impacted my ability and givingthem those specific names really
helped me to know okay, you'vehit another milestone milestone,

(33:53):
and having people continue toshare their stories with me
gives me other ideas.
So the next center that I'll bedoing is going to be called
clearing, because it's importantfor us to clear away what's not
necessary in order to moveforward.
And I don't know if you havemoon rituals, but that's a big
part of my moon rituals is beingable to clear out what's no

(34:13):
longer serving me, and that'sactually like a weekly thing
that I do.
It's not just on the full moonor the new moon, it's clearing
out what's no longer serving meso that I can make space for the
next part that's coming in, andso, yeah, that's the story
behind my spiritual journey andthe different sense that I

(34:37):
created to help with that.
I also have some protectionsense that weren't necessarily
part of that specific journey.
They were, but they didn't makeit into the line because the
scent was a little too, I don'tknow, personal for me.

(34:59):
Not everybody likes patchoulilike I do.

Kimothy (35:05):
I freaking love patchouli.

Virginia (35:07):
You do Well, hey, so maybe I'll get you one, but uh,
actually that was another thing, that so I'm I, because I have
all my products at Libra andthorn.
I have to create more for myother clients and doing a
protection magnesium spray thatwas going to be on the forefront

(35:29):
of my list, because I need that.
Um, and then I also createjewelry, um, that, that so
earrings and necklaces andbracelets Um, I have a little

(35:49):
girl and we love to createtogether and it's actually so
much fun to be able to instillthat, that creative joy with my,
my, my, my daughter.
So, and that's really sweet.
Yeah, it's a lot of fun.
We actually created a lot ofdifferent bracelets recently.

(36:12):
That was a lot of fun to haveher help me create them.

Kimothy (36:25):
I ask of my guests are thing number one.
Please recommend something.
It doesn't have to be witchy oror metaphysical or mystical, it
can be whatever.
It's just whatever you're intothis week that you found
recently and you're like, whoa, this is really cool.

Virginia (36:41):
Hmm, okay, um, I guess , because I'm all about
cleansing and clearing, like inthe work that I do, I pick up on
a lot I, and I guess it doesn'teven matter if you're reading

(37:04):
tarot or if you're not, like notworking with other people's
energy, but just cleansingyourself, using salt to cleanse
your, your, your aura and makesure that you're not holding on
to any anything that's not yoursor that's not in your highest
good.
That's, that's been my biggestthing since, I want to say, the

(37:29):
beginning of November.

Kimothy (37:33):
Oh gosh.

Virginia (37:34):
Using using a salt specifically, it doesn't matter
what kind of salt, but some kindof a salt to cleanse your aura
and help purify it.
That's that would be my advice.

Kimothy (37:52):
I actually have a rec.
Oh yes, and it is.
If you are local, you have tobe really local.
Eg's has the cherry cider forthe flavor of the month, and
that's my favorite thing thatthey make.
So go get you one.

Virginia (38:04):
Oh, yes, yes, for sure .

Kimothy (38:09):
I'm always sad on December 1stst because then it's
some stupid cherry holiday, berry, whatever, I don't care,
it's not cherry cider, get outanyway.
The last thing I ask of guestsis please tell me a story.
It can be a story from yourlife.
It can be a story from yourlife.

Virginia (38:28):
It can be always had um a very, very sensitive

(38:59):
subconscious and, whatever Iwatch it, it turns up in my
dreams and um, evidently thescary movies called in something
.
I don't know what it was, butit was scary.
And I was not the only one whowas noticing it, my partner was

(39:22):
also noticing it.
Doors were opening and closingshadows like creepy, creepy
stuff, closing shadows likecreepy, creepy stuff.
So I ended up going to my localmetaphysical shop and I
purchased some differentcleansing and clearing things
and I performed some differentrituals.

(39:42):
I believe it was at that pointthat I also purchased my first
Oracle deck and um.
Oracle deck and um.
So I did this and all of asudden it was gone and and I was
like, okay, that's cool, um,and that really kind of opened

(40:04):
me up to, oh, I may have alittle bit more oomph behind the
things that I do than Ioriginally thought.
So I guess the moral of thestory is is that, regardless of
where you are in your practice, just know that there's always
more things to learn, and everytime I open myself up to

(40:28):
something new, I do learnsomething else about different
practices, different things thatwe can do and how to keep
growing.

Kimothy (40:43):
I'm curious and nosy.
How did you end up in ametaphysical shop?

Virginia (40:49):
How did you end up in a metaphysical shop?
Because I knew that this wassomething that I wasn't just
going to be able to be gone.
No, I needed to actually dosomething to help clear my space
, my physical space of thisspace, my physical space of this
.
And because it was showing upso aggressively, like with the

(41:12):
doors and the shadows and thedifferent noises that we would
hear, I knew that it was more.

Kimothy (41:24):
I needed more help.
Had you I mean had you been toone before.

Virginia (41:38):
Um, no, I mean back when I was a kid, like you know,
growing up, and but as an adult, no, I hadn't.
And for me to also decide thatit was time to get a deck of
cards.
Decide that it was time to geta deck of cards, but I also
think that it was, um, I wasgoing through some very
transitional times in my in mylife and I was looking, I was

(42:01):
actively looking for things thatwere going to help explain what
I was going through.
And you couldn't explain itwith normie mentality, you
couldn't explain it.
So, and I think that was that, and that was when I was like,
okay, here we go, let's just.

(42:23):
That was my first dive.
And then, yeah, there's a wholeother story about that that
partner too.
And then yeah, there's a wholeother story about that, that
partner too.
But I don't know, yeah, I don'tknow if we have time to get

(42:43):
into that, but yeah, it was it.
It it opened up.
It opened up it.

Kimothy (42:48):
It allowed me the key to open the door to my mysticism
.
Well, thank you so much forcoming on the show and for
telling me stories.

Virginia (42:58):

Kimothy (43:41):

.

Virginia (43:47):
The Reaper, um the Reaper, uh.

curriculum program for studentswith special needs.
That's what I, if I could doanything, that's what I would

After years as a forensic and clinical psychologist, I offer a unique interview style and a low tolerance for bullshit, quickly steering conversations toward depth and darkness. I honor the seriousness while also appreciating wit. I’m your guide through the twisted labyrinth of the human psyche, armed with dark humor and biting wit.
