I thought I was in total self acceptance about my aging face and body. But, seeing a photo of me next to a much younger friend gave me a reality check about how time, experiences and health concerns have left their mark on me. It's not easy to make new friends when you are a grown lady. It feels like when we were younger, our lives were easier and more carefree there were more obvious things to bond on-like bands and boy troubles.
