(00:00):
Okay.
(00:00):
What really happens behind thescenes to host a successful event
in an aligned heart-centered valuevision, like values driven event.
There we go.
What really happens tocreate one of those?
What does it look like?
I am pulling back the curtainon my recent audio summit.
Beyond the numbers, whatworked, what didn't?
(00:20):
Power powerful mindset shifts that Imade beforehand, during, and after.
This is part two, so if you havenot listen to part one, I would
suggest you pause this one.
Go back and listen to part one.
I'll link it, , in the show notes.
As well.
That way you can do that because we arejumping straight in to where we left off.
(00:51):
This is the Your Money Your LifePodcast, the show where I help
female entrepreneurs go fromstress and struggle to unstoppable.
Here we blend step-by-step strategy, mindset, work, and emotional regulations
so you can create unstoppable finances, build an unstoppable business, and
truly enjoy your unstoppable life.
It's time to take my wisdom, myexpertise, to help you simplify
(01:13):
money and go beyond the numbers.
I'm your host, Aimee Cerka.
Welcome.
I'm so glad you're here.
Okay, welcome back.
This is part two.
If you missed it, I wouldhighly go back and recom.
I would highly recommend yougo back and listen to part one.
I am debriefing some of thethings that showed up behind the
(01:34):
scenes, what worked, what didn't.
Takeaways from the audio summit thatI hosted in April beyond the numbers.
So we were finishing off the lastepisode talking about the fact that
promotion closed for my offer and Ididn't hit my revenue goal by a long
shot, and that if that was my goal, itwould've been deemed a failed launch.
(01:54):
But I don't feel that way at all.
And here's why.
The expectations thatit has to happen now.
It has to happen in this moment.
Were removed.
I did not have that expectation.
Obviously, we had the goal and the hopeand the excitement, and you still, this is
a process of being able to be so excitedand believing that it can happen because.
(02:19):
There can be a degree of like, youdon't believe it's gonna happen, so
like you're not excited, so then likeit doesn't happen and then you're
not disappointed because you didn'treally believe it was gonna happen.
And like, that's all aboutprotecting ourselves as well,
but there's an excitement.
It's like, this is like what?
It's almost an expectation, right?
(02:39):
But, and it's an expectation in a waywhere we're expecting it to happen, but
we're not putting the timeline on it.
This is a thing that I'mexpecting to show up.
This is the thing that I knowis coming, and you can be so
excited because, hey, I know.
I know that these amount of peoplethat I'm looking for are going
(03:00):
to be in this program, or they'regonna be in this container.
We're gonna have these clients.
They're showing up, they'recoming, and you can be so excited
about that, but without takingyourself out that it has to happen.
Now, I had a launch that I did before.
It's only been a couple yearsago, put it that way, and I did
not hit the goal that I had set.
(03:23):
It was one of my best launchesthat I had had to date.
The most amount of opt-ins, themost amount of people there,
even like live showing up.
People were opening emails, peoplewere engaged, and I closed doors
on the offer with zero sales, zero.
And that took me out because Icreated this expectation that it
(03:43):
was all, it had to happen right now.
If these people were gonnabuy, they had to buy right now.
That was when it was gonna have to happen.
And if they didn't buy, that meant that Iwas a horrible whatever, business owner.
All of those things, like I failedbecause it didn't happen right now.
But that's not true because Iknow that we have 210 episodes.
(04:09):
The podcast of me giving value, notto mention social media and blog
and emails and all of those things.
Where I am giving, this isthe giving channel, right?
So I can show up and I can give andcreating this summit was such a fun give.
I loved doing the interviews.
I so enjoyed it.
And we're talked about likewe're gonna do another season.
(04:30):
I don't know exactly when, yetwe're kind of planning things out
and I'm feeling some of that out.
That was totally a give, but the givingis not tied to the receiving because I can
receive, I can have a. Like while we'rerecording this podcast right now, can find
(04:51):
an email that I sent, whatever it was aweek ago, and be like, Hey, I'm ready now.
I'm ready to be all in withinin the Unstoppable experience.
Or you can listen to a podcastepisode and be like, Hey, I'm really
ready for Money Master Academy.
Or you know what?
Execution Lab is just what I need.
And they can find something fromthe work that I've done in the past.
Right?
Like that.
It doesn't have to.
(05:12):
The work for money thing isn't, it'snot a direct correlation, so I can
show up and I can have fun and I canlove doing the summit and do that as
a give and know that the receiving iscoming, even if it's not showing up
right now because it's going to happen.
I know that.
(05:35):
In this piece here, especially in anera where we're taught like work, work,
work, do the thing, do the thing, andwe can think we're gonna dive into this
on a money mindset series here soon.
Even like how the things that we weretaught in school growing up, like
have sabotaged us as business owners.
And I don't know that itwas intentional or not.
We don't have to get into any of that, but this is where we're at, right?
(05:57):
We'll get into that when we getinto the Money Mindset series.
Um, I did love the dual positioning.
I had Money Mastery Academyand the Unstoppable Experience,
so you had two options for theoffers that you could enroll in.
So Money Mastery Academy isessentially like the DIY version,
less support all of the strategy.
You did get three months of execution.
(06:17):
So you do still have some support, connection with me, but it's
available at a lower price pointto help you be like, heck yes.
Now.
And then of course the unstoppableexperience has the hybrid of the group
coaching and the private support.
You've got the 12 months totruly make that transformation.
So I loved having both options there,, and offering them at the same time.
(06:37):
That way people can choosewhich one worked for them.
Experience.
Experience and even like the,the conversation that we just had
with the financial part, right?
And the revenue and knowing likewhen revenue's going to come in.
This whole thing.
Probably like my primary goalfor the summit was about it
being a healing experience.
Like I wanted to have fun,I wanted to do these things.
(06:57):
Yes, I love the list growth thathappened and you know, revenue that's
come in result.
It was about being a healing experiencebecause I had created a lot of
little T trauma mindset, whateverwe wanna call it, from the summit
(07:19):
program that I had purchased before.
And it was very much, youknow, like do X, Y, Z, and then
you're going to get this result.
And it was very much in thedo the certain things to get.
The certain result, verymuch more masculine.
But this was about like healingsome of those things and knowing
and remembering how to trust myself.
(07:40):
And it was so much fun because of that.
Like even the things that didn'tquite go the way that I wanted
them to, I loved the experience.
And I think if we had, if I hadn'tdone so much of the mindset, then
really more than the mindset.
'cause some of it's mindset, mindsetand emotional regulation work.
Let's see the next thing here.
(08:02):
Okay.
I did offer a giveaway and Ilove the idea of the giveaway,
so I think that I'll do it again.
I might shift it a little bit better orexecute it a little bit better because
I know I attract a lot of people in myaudience who are watchers like I am.
Like we don't necessarily engage inthe Facebook groups, but like, Hey,
we're there watching to see likewhat everybody else says, right?
(08:22):
And then we're like, Hey, yeah, I'm in.
Like this is, we consume and we're seeingthose things, but we're not necessarily
the ones creating a lot of engagement.
Um, but I love the giveaways.
This was like, Hey, shareyou're in for the summit.
Those things we did drawings forcredits, um, for the program.
So it was a great way for peopleto be able to work closer to
me without finances being un.
(08:45):
Obstacle.
And it's also like an exercise, you know, and belief like,
Hey, am I gonna win the draw?
Which I could have donea whole session on that.
That might be a good idea Forseason two, I talked about this a
little bit, but really working onhaving the regulated nervous system
through the launch like it was.
There was a lot of hard with the prepwork, but I was, when I was going
(09:07):
through and healing so much of that andthe things that I created before, so.
When I was able to show up and beregulated and have fun and go to the
zoo and do these things, like therewas spaciousness in there because
I had gotten to that point, likeit wasn't a dysregulated launch.
'cause you know, I've been there, done that stressing over checking
(09:29):
numbers and like, am I doingenough and I have to do this.
But there was a spaciousness therebecause I really worked on showing up
to this event in a very regulated space.
We talked a little bitabout the spaciousness.
I did get to add like there was somethings that, hey, I had space for.
So people who had clickedto check out the, um.
(09:50):
Offer and hadn't purchased,got a individual personalized.
I sat here and recorded aV voice note just for them.
Like it was not a generalized thing.
Um, but it was really fun to be ableto sit and make space to record.
And of course, I was losingmy voice at the same time.
That was kind of funny, like, I thinkit was like 25 different voice notes
(10:12):
that I sat there and recorded and sentout to these people because again,
I had created that spaciousness.
Um, I trust you.
I trust me.
Like that, that part was there.
And again, the regulation,it just made it so much fun.
So like that part, I don't knowthat I can stress that enough.
Like if you are going to host an event,if you're going to do these things,
(10:34):
like how can you do it in a way, getthe tools, get the support to be able to
help you, help you show up in a regulatedmanner without the like, have to make
this work right now or else everythingcrashes around me because that's no fun.
Talked a little bit about thefact that I don't close the doors.
I don't like the false closed doors.
(10:54):
I don't love the vibe of that.
Um, I have an automated onboardingprocess, so like that's available.
That's much more of like how I operate in.
Versus specifically the summit, but with the offer we talked about,
like I had the bonus in place.
So, for Money Mastery Academy, it waslike a group support bonus, and then
the Unstoppable experience, it was ahigher touch private support bonus.
(11:16):
So there was a sense of urgency anda rewarding thing there by like, Hey,
let's take action if you're readynow, let's take action while we're
in the event and like, I'm going to.
Reward you for that, give you the bonus.
But yeah, I don't do the falseclosed doors thing anymore.
That doesn't vibe for me.
Um, and again, there's no shoulds.
(11:36):
Like I think that's, that was a largepart of even like my pitch to the
speakers when we were creating this.
It was like, we want tocut through the shoulds.
Like I started my business.
I have freedom.
I know that you did as well.
This step-by-step thing,it doesn't feel good.
And we have to learn totrust in the uncertainty.
You have to learn to trust inyourself, trust that it'll work, that
(11:59):
you know.
I think a large part.
Okay, so like primary goal, right?
Was healing, like having fun for me,for me to host this event and have fun.
The secondary one was really abouthelping the people that want, trying
to figure how to word this here.
Helping people know whether or not I'mthe coach that they wanna work for.
(12:22):
Like if I can help you get clearon that, if you know I'm the
person that I wanna work with, then it's just a matter of when.
Like, Hey, what container's right?
When is it right for you?
Those were the goals andI think that we really.
Did this again, like I wasn't crashing, Iwasn't burnt out at the end of the launch.
And I know so manytimes that we have that.
(12:43):
So the whole point was cutting throughthe shoulds and listening to yourself
like that was the goal of the summit.
And I know that the thing that like isthe massive win in my column like is,
Hey, I hosted the summit and I did this.
I did the thing right?
I did thing that I wanted you.
(13:03):
Even though I've taught this now fora little bit and we've done some of
those things and I've done it on asmaller scale, I had not hosted a
big event like that in a while sinceI had done so much of this work.
Hence some of the healing workthat I had to do beforehand, but.
It was so much fun.
It was so much fun to do this.
Um, and that might sound sosound a little self-centered,
(13:26):
you know, like that I launched.
For me it felt good.
It felt fun.
I loved it.
And you know, the Britney Spears song, um.
Circus all eyes on me inthe center of the ring.
Just like a circus likethat comes to mind.
Right.
But it is though.
And this is the same thing for you.
This is what I want you to hear from this.
Like for me it's my business andyes, I love serving my clients and
(13:48):
the people that are in my world.
Like I got an email last week froma perspective client that like
she, we going back and forth via email.
So it was like a private email.
And she told me that my responsebrought tears to her eyes because
she felt seen and she feltheard, and she hasn't had that.
(14:08):
And that means so much
because that's the goal.
But if I didn't show up and I didn't knowthat, like, Hey, this is for me and being.
There's nothing wrong withyou, you're not broken.
All of those things like wehave to work on ourselves.
(14:30):
We run, for most of us here,we run personal brands.
This is not, we're nothiding behind Corporate.
Corporate stuff doesn't work herebecause you are building, you're selling
you not in a weird way, like no sextrafficking, none of those things, right?
You're selling you andyou have to be the person.
(14:52):
You have to stand in your power.
You have to stand in your authority, like, yes, we are working on money,
we're working on your business.
We're doing so many of those things, andI'm working on like an in-depth experience
that I think we're just gonna be able todive into this, that I'm so excited about.
But you have to get to thatpoint, and that's really the
biggest takeaway for the event.
(15:13):
It's what a huge win it wasand how much fun it was and how
excited and like the motivation.
And again, like I built the entireOptum page in like 45 minutes and
I had kept, I was putting it off.
I didn't feel like I had the words, Icouldn't quite figure out the wording,
those things it needed to be done.
And I had, I do a lot of my likeemotional regulation work like in
(15:34):
the evening after the kids go to bed.
'cause hey, that's when I have me.
So I had done some of thatwork, got ready, went to bed.
It was laying in bed.
It was like midnight, and all of a suddenI was wide awake and I could just see it.
I was writing the opt-in page in my head.
So I finally just got up and like workedfor 45 minutes and the entire opt-in
(15:56):
page was built like just like thatbecause it was in alignment, it was in
fun, it was in my power as opposed to.
Succumbing to all of the shoulds, and Ishould do this, and this has to happen.
And those things like when you cantrust yourself and trust yourself with
the money, like we do all these things.
(16:17):
We work on the strategy with themoney because we can talk about the
fact that we're avoiding our financesbecause we're afraid of being wrong,
we're afraid of failing, we're afraidof all of these different things.
We can work through all thesemindset obstacles, and when we
do that, then you move forward.
Personal power, and we do so muchof this, and that's really what
(16:38):
I want you to hear from this.
Behind the scenes of beyond thenumbers, it's like things didn't
go perfectly according to plan.
I didn't hit all of the goals, but this was such a huge win.
Like I don't even know thatI can describe it and I want.
(17:01):
So if this episode sparked somethingfor you, whether it was like, okay,
these are some crazy mindset shifts thatyou're talking about, Aimee, or maybe
some like specific behind the scenesdetail, I would love for you to grab.
Right now it's the MoneyMindset Mastery checklist.
It's currently getting a rebrand.
, the Guide's getting a entireupdate, and I'm gonna release a
(17:22):
private podcast with it as well.
But if you grab it now, you're gonnaget the update when it's available.
Currently, it's 10 simple stepsto help you create an unshakeable,
well, it should be an unstoppablemoney mindset, but hey, that's why
we're getting the update, right?
But really what we're goingback to is it's so much more
than a step-by-step checklist.
You do this and you're done.
(17:42):
But it's a playbook.
It's a way that we operate.
It's the ways that we show up to beable to help you unlock that next level.
And of course, we're gonna do it allwith the lens of aligned strategy
and emotional regulation as well.
So go to Aimee circa.com/mindset.
That link's gonna be inthe show notes as well.
But let's untangle the beliefsand the patterns that are
(18:04):
keeping you stuck financially.
. What you resonated with on thisepisode, because I know this was
a little bit different, right?
You know, behind the scenes.
So what resonated withyou from this episode?
What did you love?
What did you not love?
Um, side note, I didn't mention this.
I love the audio only format.
We are definitely keeping that, even like a video summit that I
(18:25):
was listening to the other day.
I literally just stuck my earbudsin and like had my tablet like I
walked off or listening to things.
So love that format.
Definitely keeping that.
I don't know how I missed that inmy notes, but send me a message
on Instagram at Aimee Cerka.
