Michael Pope is one
of the most patient people with

I had to say that it was ablast.
So, with that said, michael, why don't you tell people a
little bit more about yourself, for people that aren't familiar

Speaker 3 (01:57):
Absolutely.
Greetings everyone.
I am Michael Pope, international speaker, coach and

Speaker, coach and trainer.
And I help high achievers stophesitating and take bold action.
So a little bit about me.
Married for almost 28 years, soit'll be 28 years May 17th,
I've been married to my wife.
We have three sons an18-year-old, a 16-year-old and a
12-year-old.
All boys and they're all in.
(02:17):
They're all black belts inkarate.
So great kids.
So don't go start a trap atMichaelael pope's house.
That's what I'm saying.
Yeah, we got our in-housebodyguards here.
Speaker 2 (02:30):
Right there you go
there you go, absolutely love it
.
So before we really dive in andget started, um, first of all,
michael, you know what's sofunny is when you're on, it's
like we're just doing ourtraining sessions or whatever.
We're just talking and havingway too much fun.
Um, so before we get started, just want to remind everybody on
the top right corner of thescreen is a blue QR code.
It takes you toempowerperformancestrategiescom
(02:56):
Empowerperformancestrategiescomagain for people listening on
the podcast forums later on,michael, it's been like 110
episodes.
I finally figured out which wayit is to point.
So there are lots of resourcesand Facebook pages for veterans
and their families, as well assome free books that I've
(03:17):
written.
So be part of our community, join the tribe and get involved
with the mission.
So, with that, said, mr Pope,we are talking about some good
stuff mission.
So with that said, mr Pope, weare talking about some good
stuff today.
So, winning the day, which Ithink is really super important,
and before we really dive inpeople that again don't know you
well, how did you get involvedin the self-development and in
(03:38):
this world?
Speaker 3 (03:40):
Yeah.
So for me, growing up, I had ahorrible self-image, absolutely
a horrible self-image.
Hey, Susan, I was going to haveyou on and see you.
I had a horrible self-image.
I'm a natural introvert.
I was terrified of publicspeaking and I remember Michael,
being asked by managersprevious managers if I wanted to
(04:02):
consider being a manager or apeople leader one day, and I
wanted nothing to do with itbecause of my self-limit.
I never saw myself as a leader.
But I was introduced to agentleman named Percy, who
absolutely amazing man.
He introduced me to the worldof personal development and once
I read my first book, which wasthe Magic of Thinking Big,
which is probably somewherearound my desk somewhere, but
(04:24):
the Magic of Thinking Big once Iread that book and I realized
that there's so much more to me,right, that there's so much
more that I can do, so much moreof an impact that I can make, I
dove right into personaldevelopment and it it really
elevated me personally and juststarted to open up doors for me.
Speaker 2 (04:46):
Yeah and amen.
Because, honestly, you know, you look back and I've known you
for a few years now and I justlook back and I know how many
people you have affected, changed and helped and so on,
and the ripple effect, or thetsunami effect, if you will,
that you've created because ofthat map right, that started
(05:06):
that and changed your life orhelped you to, for you to choose
to change your life.
You know it's amazing.
I love to hear those stories,so thank you for sharing With
that said, so we're going totalk about, you know, winning
the day, which I think you'llagree is going to be mostly
mindset.
So let's talk about thisbecause I know you're passionate
(05:29):
about it.
What does winning the day meanfor you?
Yeah and I think it meanssomething different for
everybody.
Speaker 1 (05:35):
So for me.
Speaker 3 (05:36):
What it means for me
personally is that when my head
hits the pillow at night, that Ican look back on the current
day with a good feeling, right, where I'm not feeling like a
feeling of regret.
It's not a feeling of regret,or man, I shouldn't have done
that, or man, I wish I had donethat.
Or man, if I just had theconfidence to make that phone
(05:57):
call or to take that action.
I don't want to have thosefeelings because I grew up
having those feelings.
Over and over.
Those missed opportunities arelike opportunities.
Like man, I should have donethat.
And seeing someone else get anopportunity, I'm like man.
I thought of that idea.
Or, yeah, I know I could havedone that too, right, I could
have been where they are rightnow.
I don't want that feeling andso for me it's just.
(06:19):
It's like I said, it's beingable to lay my head on a pillow,
knowing okay the things that Iwanted to accomplish that day, I
did it.
That's fantastic.
Everything, right, maybe thereare certain things that I could
have done, but the things thatwere very important to me,
knowing okay, I did those and Ican feel good about myself.
(06:41):
Right, if this happened to bemy last day, knowing that I
still felt good about what Iaccomplished.
Speaker 2 (06:50):
I love that.
I love that, because how manytimes do we say, oh, I should
have, but you know, and we alldo it as human beings, right, we
as neurocoders, of course wecondition ourselves differently.
But you know, it's but I'm tooold, or but I'm not smart enough
, or you know, and then it goesto the shoulds right, I should
(07:11):
have done this, or I should havedone that.
And then, you know, I'm alwaysgoing to say this, and my friend
, good friend, tina Parker, andI came up with it and it's don't
be the butt that sheds all overyourself.
Speaker 3 (07:22):
Oh, I love that.
Don't be the butt that shedsall over yourself.
Yes, yes.
Speaker 2 (07:26):
Yeah, so what are
some steps that you take or that
you want to share with us asfar as to get into the right
mindset to make sure that you'rewinning that day, depending on
what that means for you?
Speaker 3 (07:38):
obviously, absolutely
, absolutely Right.
So something that helps andJohn Maxwell says said, your
success is based on your dailyroutine, and so one of the
things that can really help andhelps me is thinking about the
tomorrow, right.
So, before I, before I in myday, is thinking about OK, so
(07:59):
what do I want tomorrow to looklike?
Right?
And if I can only accomplishone thing tomorrow, what would I
need to accomplish in order forme to to be able to end
tomorrow knowing that, okay, Iwon today and I think, if you do
that right, it doesn't have tobe a whole lot of things, but
just find those one or two orthree things that are very
important to you, that's inalignment with your goals that
(08:22):
you can accomplish for tomorrowand and plans for it.
So that's the first thing isreally identifying, okay, what
those one to three items arethat you need to accomplish.
The second thing would simply beto figure out okay, is there
anything that I can do right nowto make it easier for me to do
that Right?
So let's say that one of thosethings was to to make five phone
(08:47):
calls, or to, or to submit fiveproposals.
Then, if it's five phone calls, and maybe I can go ahead and
identify the phone numbers rightnow, right, put them in a
spreadsheet or highlight them, have them ready to make it easy.
So that way I'm not trying tofind the numbers, no, I've
already got the numbers.
I can set the time and make thephone calls.
If it's fitting content orsomething Right, I can have a
(09:10):
plan in place already.
Make it easy for myself, sothat way I can wake up and go,
ok, yeah, here's what I need todo.
Boom, I can do it.
Speaker 2 (09:18):
Yeah, I love that.
I'm going to add to that if Ican schedule it.
Yes, absolutely Schedule it.
I mean, if you look on mycalendar you'll see things
scheduled, you know, becauseotherwise you get busy and or
you think I'll do it tomorrowand tomorrow never comes right.
It goes back to the old theRocky movie with Apollo Creed
(09:38):
and Rocky right.
There is no tomorrow Rock.
There is no tomorrow yes, yes, Ilove that movie, or that part
especially, but I do love themovie.
And it's weird how people willjust say tomorrow, tomorrow,
tomorrow, and then all of asudden it's been 10 years and
then you're shitting all overyourself again, you know you can
always have excuses and excuses.
Speaker 3 (10:00):
Just excuse it.
This is a failure disease.
It really, is it really?
Speaker 2 (10:03):
is.
So what are some some?
How do I want to say this?
So a lot of veteransspecifically struggle with
finding purpose post-service.
So what are some practical ways, especially for success, to
redefine success and get peopleon the right track so they can
(10:23):
win that day?
Speaker 3 (10:24):
Yeah.
So I believe you know, wheneverI meet a veteran, I always
thank them for their service, and I know some don't like
hearing that, but until I figureout something better to say,
that's what I say Because Itruly appreciate that they're
taking, they're willing to risktheir lives to protect our
(10:45):
country, our freedoms that wehave, and so I'm very thankful,
very appreciative of those.
And so what I would say to thatveteran is okay, when you were
in the military, you know youhad a purpose there, right, your
purpose was serving, protectingall the type of things you're
doing.
But then you're trying to finda purpose outside of that.
(11:06):
Just try to figure out okay, ifI wasn't getting paid for it,
what would I be able to do tomake an impact where I could
feel really good about myself,right?
What's that one thing that youcould do to to to truly feel
like you're adding value, creating an impact, even if
you're not getting paid for it?
Yeah, and I think that'll helpyou find your purpose.
(11:29):
Um, for some it may be.
It could be joining, like thepolice force, it could be
becoming a teacher, right?
So I think, if they try tostart figuring out, ok, if money
wasn't involved, what would Ido?
This is going to help me feelfulfilled.
And then, once you do that, oh,go ahead, michael.
Well, please, please, please,yeah.
So then, once you have that, Imean you can look and say OK,
now how can I monetize this?
(11:49):
Because in most cases thatservice is monetizable that
service is monetizable.
Speaker 2 (11:56):
Yeah, and I'm
literally sitting here laughing
and that's why I literally hadthis exact conversation with
somebody yesterday.
What do you love to do intoday's world, you know, to find
fulfillment or purpose?
You know there are so manypossibilities in today's world,
you know, and whether it bephotography or wood carving, I
(12:18):
mean being a police officer, like I said, fantastic, or any
of those you know amazing jobs, careers, I should say.
But there are so many thingsthat you can find.
I love to talk, I love to helppeople.
Here we are right.
I mean, there are so manydifferent ways.
So I was literally having isactually with someone with the
(12:38):
ACP, about doing some trainingsand so on, but it was.
American corporate, michael Pope, got me involved in ACP.
So thank you so much and, honestly, I'm working mentoring
a veteran with business now andthey're bringing me in to do
(12:59):
some um other trainings and andum someone off with some people
that are kind of stuck onfiguring out exactly this.
So I was talking to jenny and,uh, literally had this exact
conversation and what you'resaying, exactly what I said.
That's awesome right now.
Thank you, thank you and thankyou again for you know the
people you surround yourselfwith.
It's weird people you surroundyourself with.
It's weird.
Yes, the more you surroundyourself with people that are
like-minded, like-hearted, justthings magnetize to you and you
(13:23):
keep moving.
So I love it.
So another reason I loveMichael Pope just saying so
let's go with you know, as faras winning the day.
So we talked about schedulingsomething.
We've talked about puttingtogether those three things,
those five things to do the nextday, and, of course, taking
(13:44):
action.
And a lot of times I just wantto add to that as well is taking
action can be as simple.
What I do is I'll just textsomebody saying, hey, can we
talk tomorrow?
And the action is started, andthen it starts to unfold from
there.
So it can be simple.
So give us a couple of otherthings that you do to prepare to
win the day, if you will, orsteps, or something.
Speaker 3 (14:03):
Yeah, please,
absolutely.
And so, going back to what yousaid, michael, about sending
that text or taking that smallaction, is, as we know, when
we're encoding, is we rememberto reward ourselves, right?
So celebrate the fact that, hey, I took action, yes, I did it
Right, and so that's just soimportant of doing those things.
(14:23):
And so for me you know you'veheard me talk before about doer
but so I always go back to mydoer or whatever, pretty much
when I'm doing anything.
And so for those of you ifyou've never heard doerORE, the
D in DORE stands for discipline, and discipline is doing the
prescribed activity no matterwhat, even and especially when
it's difficult, and one of thethings you got to understand,
right.
So once you have your task listof the items you want to do for
(14:46):
the day, to win it is mostcases it takes discipline.
So Michael just talked abouthow he sets a schedule, how he
might send a text message tosomewhere.
He takes immediate action ortake some type of action.
That requires discipline.
So that's the first thing,right?
So once you identify your items, ok, what discipline do I need
(15:07):
to take to do it?
And a lot of times it's justtaking that first step.
I see some people so manypeople get stuck on thinking
about step 25, you know, or like, how am I going to get the
video submitted to YouTube?
Like, you haven't even recordedthe video yet, right?
So at least record the videofirst, then we can worry about
the other stuff.
I love that, you know, but it'slike do one step at a time,
(15:31):
don't get hung up on the details, so that takes discipline.
And then O, so, o, endure, ochanges up on the details, but
so that takes discipline.
And then oh so, oh, endure, ohchanges, depending on the
circumstance.
When it comes to winning theday, for me it means one thing.
What is that?
One thing that I can work onthat's going to make the most
impact, that's going to move mecloser to my goal for winning
(15:52):
that day.
And you just got to figure outwhat that one thing is and then,
of course, take the distance todo it.
E-endure is for eliminatingexcuses, and I've already talked
before.
How you know, skew-cited is afailure disease.
I learned that from the bookthe Magic of Thinking Big.
But it's just eliminating thoseexcuses, right, and whatever
(16:16):
words you use that are similarto an excuse, like some people
say well, I didn't make anexcuse, but you're using but
Right.
Or are you using all types ofalthough Right, all those type
of words you know just tells me,hey, don't use but Because it's
just an excuse.
So typically, if someone says, you know I don't use, but
Because it's just an excuse, sotypically, if someone says, you
(16:37):
know I would do this, but right, they're making, they're about
to tell you an excuse, so doyour best to eliminate it.
No one's perfect.
I'm not perfect, but I do my.
And I just said, but right, right.
So I'm not perfect and I do mybest to eliminate those excuses.
And I remember to praise myselfon that journey.
(16:59):
And then R, when it comes towinning the day.
For me, it's all aboutresponsibility.
I have to own theresponsibility for my choices.
I own the responsibility for myactions.
So, whether I do something ordon't do, it is based on me
owning the responsibility,taking personal responsibility
for the actions that I take yeah, and it is a choice, right.
Speaker 2 (17:23):
Everything you just
talked about, every single step
of that for winning the day, with the doer program and our
mentality I love that, by theway, we talked about multiple
times um, it really sets thetone right.
It's your choice to do it ordon't do it.
So what do you choose for thatday?
Do you want to win it?
(17:47):
Do you want to go?
I should have, but that'sthat's the question.
Right is, is that itself so forveterans or their families?
So let's, let's dive in alittle bit into for veterans or
their families.
So let's dive in a little bitinto.
Okay, I have something I wantfor purpose or whatever the case
may be, and I need to win thisday, I need to win tomorrow, I
need to win this week.
So you're looking at a biggerplan, if you will.
(18:08):
So you've been through thesteps here.
I have something scheduled.
I took immediate action.
I've done the things that we'retalking about right now.
How do we create a bigger planfor winning, not just the day?
Speaker 3 (18:21):
Yeah, and so the
thing is is, when you develop
that habit of winning the day,you end up winning the week.
Winning the week leads you towinning the month and then
winning the year.
And so when you're looking atthe big plan, you got to figure
out okay, what do I want?
Right, so at the end of 2025,what do I want that to look like
?
And just to call that futurepacing, where you're imagining
(18:43):
or you get a clear picture of,okay, what do I want to
accomplish?
What do I want things to looklike?
And whenever I'm doing somethinglike that exercise, I try to
utilize all my senses.
So, what I want to hear otherpeople telling me hey, michael,
you did an amazing job with that, right, you know you're hearing
those type of words Is is is.
(19:05):
What do you see Right Do yousee Is it an award?
Is it a monetary amount?
Right, a number of money in thebank account.
Is it a check coming in to you,an email coming in, saying hey,
you've been selected for this?
Right, start visualizing whatthat looks like and that'll
start helping you to puttogether that plan.
Speaker 2 (19:25):
Yeah, and I love that
and you know, celebrating all
along the way, of course, youknow, because it's not just,
it's part of the Voyager journey, it's not just oh hey, I just
got selected for this, you know, because how long does that last
?
How long does it last for that?
Speaker 3 (19:40):
whatever success
means to you, I've got very long
, yeah, you think about anolympic athlete.
Right, if they waited until theday they can actually compete
in the olympics to celebrate man.
They've lost so muchopportunity.
Years of training hard, they'veblocks that.
Speaker 2 (19:57):
Yeah, absolutely so.
With that said, I'm assuming, just like everything else, it's
not.
I know this is what I teachpeople and I do myself is I look
at the big picture and workbackwards for my goals.
So can we talk about what, howto do that more specifically, so
you know what you want?
I found what's going to fulfillme.
What is my purpose?
Now, how do we work backwardsover, let's say, it's a one-year
(20:21):
program or one-year plan?
I guess I should say yeah.
Speaker 3 (20:25):
So, let's say it's a
money amount, right.
So let's say it was.
Let's just say, for easy math, let's say your goal is to make
$120,000 doing X, Y, Z, right is, your goal is to make $120,000
doing X, Y, Z, right?
Then an easy way of workingbackwards is okay.
You divide it out and say well, you know I'm making, you know,
$10,000 a month.
(20:45):
$10,000 a month times 12 monthsequals, you know, $120,000.
That's if you start, of course, month one at that amount, you
may not most people don't gofrom zero to $10,000.
Right.
So then you got to figure outOK, maybe I'm not able to do it
month by month, divide it out in12.
(21:06):
So then I can set milestones.
So maybe I want to have it thefirst quarter, Maybe I need to
be making, you know, threethousand dollars per month
consistently for three months, you know, depending on where you
are Right.
So start where you are,Absolutely, and then you just
got to break it down.
So, however, you can divide itdepending on the time you have,
(21:28):
do your best to do the math onit to make it work.
Speaker 2 (21:31):
Absolutely, and this
goes with most things right,
whether it be money or you'restarting a new business.
Make a list of figure out whatyou want, your purpose, your
fulfillment, and then make alist of what you need to do to
accomplish all those things, including things simple like
business licenses and names.
And you know, calling MichaelPope to get your tech set up you
know things like that, or learnhow to use your tech I should
(21:54):
say, yeah, you know.
By the way, I need to talk toyou, so you know, let's look at
some tech stuff if you will, because you know goodness knows
you're amazing at it, right, soyou know it's going to be very
overwhelming for people, youknow.
So you know, give some tips andthoughts on, you know, when
(22:16):
you're starting a business, apodcast, whatever it is and
you're starting to set up andtech is part of pretty much
everything in the world now.
So give us some thoughts andideas how to make it where it's
not overwhelming, because techchanges so fast.
Yes, and how to kind of getyour mindset right so you can
win the day with tech.
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (22:38):
So, for me, what I
tell people is it's possible,
right.
So unless you're trying todevelop something you know
extraordinary for the first time, in most cases someone has
already done it right, it's aproven system.
And I'm really big on systems, see James Clear says you know,
(22:58):
we don't rise to the level ofour goals, we fall to the level
of our systems.
And what I like to tell peopleis let's try to identify the
system.
So let's say you're, you know, you know, you see michael's
podcast.
You're like man, he's hadhundreds and thousands, of
hundreds of thousands ofdownloads.
You know, how can I do that?
How you know?
And it feels it may feeloverwhelming to you.
Well, he didn't start there, right, but he does have a system
(23:20):
.
So let's, let's see we canfigure out out what that system
is.
Okay, so you can look at.
Okay, what software is it usingto record the podcast?
Okay, well, yeah, can you usethat same software?
Yes, it's possible, right, whatcamera, microphone?
You can identify all thosedifferent details and make it
really easy.
But once you realize, okay, youknow it's possible, let's
(23:43):
figure out.
Okay, what do I need to do?
First, obviously, I'm not goingto get 100,000, you know, or
half a million downloads on dayone.
But what do I need to do toactually get the first download
right?
I mean, I've got to at leastrecord the podcast so that you
can go through those steps, butyou have to be able to break it
down into small, doable thingsand then of course, ask for help
(24:05):
if you need it.
Speaker 2 (24:06):
Yeah, and that's
perfect, and that's literally
what it's all about.
That's how you stop overwhelm.
Right Is chunk it down intosmall pieces, celebrate the
health excuse my language out ofeach one thinking about it,
just imagining it and, of course, doing it.
You know, I mean really, because the more you do that,
the more your brain createsneural pathways to be excited
about it and not overwhelmed byit, and so on.
(24:28):
So Right.
Speaker 3 (24:31):
So like when you,
even with this podcast here,
once you've got, once you hadyour background all set up, I
mean didn't that make you feelgood to like?
Okay, I got the logo andeverything set up.
I mean it's like it's done.
Once you get it, it's done.
You don't have to think aboutwhat is my podcast going to look
.
Like it's done.
Speaker 2 (24:48):
Yeah, absolutely, and
I just something just popped up
in my head.
I saw the very first one that Idid with you and Sidney.
Speaker 1 (24:58):
Gould.
Speaker 2 (24:58):
And the walls are
different colors.
So I'm going to say this, guysas well Don't just sit there and
aim the gun and aim the gun,and aim the gun.
Don't procrastinate about it,because the fear of failure,
fear of rejection, fear ofsuccess and all the other things
that we do Pull the trigger.
I mean I would have still beengoing.
How am I going to paint thewall?
That's perfect.
Speaker 3 (25:15):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (25:17):
You know.
So just keep that in mind whenyou're doing that.
So, um, we're starting to get alittle uh towards the end of
the show.
So anything else that, um, youwant to.
You know, actually I want toask you I can't help it
self-discipline, okay, I knowthis is what really runs the
show, if you will right.
So I, I really want to touchbase on on this and just pop
(25:39):
into my what are some of the keyways to really put
self-discipline into play, because this is where everybody
wins or fails.
In my opinion.
There are other things thatcome along, but if you don't
have the self-discipline forconsistency, it's not going to
happen.
So give us some thoughts on,give us Michael Pope's success
formula.
Speaker 3 (26:00):
Yeah.
So one of the things that comesto self-discipline a lot of
things that a lot of times thething that stops most people
from being disciplined is fear.
Yeah Right, it could be fear ofthe unknown, fear of failure,
fear of not being perfect.
Sometimes it's fear of success, like some people, like man, if
I, if I do this, then peoplestart.
You know, if I watch my podcastand then people start calling
(26:22):
me for speaking engagements, youknow what am I going to speak
about.
You know, like I've heardpeople like go tell themselves
some stories in their mind.
I'm like like stop, stop, stop.
It's like we're not even thereyet.
When that day comes, we'll workit out.
You know, when Oprah calls youto be on her show for an
interview, like you know we'llcoach you on that.
(26:44):
So sometimes you just got toslow down and focus on the
things that you have controlover.
So we have two things that wehave control of.
We have control over ourattitude, which is the way we
think, how we react to things.
We also have 100% control overour actions, meaning what we do.
So it's completely a choice,it's up to us, absolutely.
Speaker 2 (27:05):
So did you hear
something Oprah's calling or?
Speaker 3 (27:11):
Calling you man or
someone better calling.
Speaker 2 (27:16):
I love it.
I love it.
So, michael Pope, how do peoplereach out?
Speaker 3 (27:20):
to you, my friend?
Absolutely.
Yes, everyone, I'm located.
I'm available on social media.
If I can talk right, I am aspeaker most of the time.
I'm available on social media,Michael J Pope Jr Also.
My website ismichaelpoptrainingcom and, yeah,
you can access me that way.
It's real easy.
And I am Michael Pope, international speaker, coach and
(27:41):

hesitating and take bold actionhere we are.
Speaker 2 (27:50):
Michael Pope was
phenomenal.
If you have the chance to workwith him, I say this he's a
friend, he's a mentor, he's acoach.
If you have the chance to workwith this man, call him Truly,
truly, thank you.
Speaker 3 (28:02):
I appreciate what
you're doing for veterans too,
michael, and really foreverybody in that situation.
Speaker 2 (28:07):
Veterans yeah, I I
appreciate that.
Um, you know it's, it's I.
You know I started this becausemy dad right, to honor my dad,
so because I didn't want other,uh, veterans and their families
to go through what he did andthings are better, right.
But here's the thing that Ifound out.
This has filled my heart somuch I can believe.
(28:28):
You know, I'm helping so manypeople, so many people, and it's
just, it's just filled.
You talk about fulfillment orpurpose, right, and this is just
one of them yeah so it'sfantastic.
so thank you, my friend, forsaying that You're welcome.
Speaker 3 (28:44):
And there's a huge
market out there.
I'll tell you this Because I'veheard other veterans and people
in.
I was actually at a conferenceand I was talking to this nurse
and she was talking about howshe was feeling, like suicidal
thoughts, before she wasintroduced to personal
development and purpose.
I mean, there's a lot of peoplethat are just lacking that
purpose to know that they matter.
Speaker 1 (29:07):
At the end of the day
, everyone wants to know they
matter, Michael, you matter.
Speaker 3 (29:11):
My friend Susan, you
matter as well.
Thank you for watching.
Speaker 2 (29:15):
Thank you.
You do as well, my friend.
Truly, it's an amazing thing.
With that said, do you have anyand I didn't ask you about this
before but do you have anywebinars coming up or anything?
People can catch you.
Speaker 3 (29:27):
I do not.
Everything I'm doing is like inprivate.
I know, right, I need to getsomething public going.
But yeah, I mean I've got a lotof uh, I've got a lot of like
private speaking engagementscoming up, so I've been more
focused on that than doing likethe public webinars.
Yeah.
So anybody you know I turned 51next month, so you know
something.
Speaker 2 (29:51):
So I'll reach out,
though.
If you can have Michael comeand present to your your
audience, or again, coaching andthat kind of stuff, please
reach out to him.
With that said, my friend, weneed three tips to get veterans
and their families furtherfaster.
Speaker 3 (30:04):
Three tips, hey,
jonathan, three tips.
So one, I would say Focus onwinning every single day, right?
So, like I said before, askyourself, hey, what do I need to
accomplish today so that when Ilate, when my head hits the
pillow, I know that I've wontoday?
Pillow, I know that I've wontoday.
(30:27):
Right, you can literally say, okay, if this is my last day on
earth, I know that I've wontoday.
Second thing I would say isthink about the legacy that
you're creating, right.
So always think about, okay, what type of impact I think
about the people who created thebiggest impact on me, and
always make sure that, okay, Iwant to be the type of example
where I can create a legacy, where people can look back and
(30:50):
say, oh yeah, you know, michaeldid this and that really helped
me out.
That's important.
And the last tip would be be adoer.
Discipline yourself, focus onthat one thing Eliminate excuses
and take personalresponsibility.
Hey, be a doer, right.
Discipline yourself, focus onthat one thing eliminate excuses
and take personalresponsibility for everything
you do.
Speaker 2 (31:09):
I absolutely love it,
absolutely love it.
I know your grandfather had alot to do with that.
Second tip.
Yes, absolutely, I love thatstory.
