AI isn’t coming for your job.

It’s coming for your identity — and exposing everything you’ve been hiding behind.

In this quietly devastating episode, Kellan breaks down the truth that most coaches, creators, and leaders are terrified to face:

If AI can replace you, you weren’t coaching — you were performing.

This conversation cuts deep into:

  • the collapse of surface-level coaching
  • the addiction to distraction
  • why people feel more lost than ever
  • the rise of soul-level leadership
  • why presence, truth, and emotional depth are now non-negotiable

If you're ready to stop living on the surface of yourself… this episode will feel like a mirror you didn’t know you needed.

Coaching in the last 10 or 12years, 15 years, has been progressively
more commoditized and trashed.Welcome to the show. Tired of the
hype about living the dream? It's time for truth. This is the
place for tools, power andreal talk so you can create the life

(00:21):
you dream and deserve yourultimate life. Subscribe, share,
create. You have have infinitepower. Hey there. Welcome to your
ultimate life. It's so muchfun for me to do this podcast and

(00:44):
especially since I've addedthe Thursday episodes. It's been
several weeks now and we'vedone maybe 10 of them and that means
I've had the opportunity tohave 20 different coaches on and
this is a Friday episode. TheTuesday episodes are usually when
I have one guest and we talkabout how they are creating that
ultimate life purpose, prosperity and joy. Fridays is typically

(01:09):
this me a solo episode and Italk about important things of the
day, stuff that's going on,and we're going to do that today.
About 10 weeks ago orsomething, I added a Thursday episode
talking about coaching and therise of AI and what the way I decided
to structure Thursday was meand two coaches that I'm talking

(01:33):
to and they don't know eachother, just coaches. I mean, I know
hundreds. And so we're goingto do this for maybe a year, maybe
longer. We'll see. But the,the purpose of Thursday is to give
coaches a chance to reflect onAI, artificial intelligence, all
the different ones. There'sGrok and Claude and of course Chat,

(01:54):
GPT and Perplexity and all therest. And I don't know the names
of the rest of them off thetop, but it's really surprising to
me. Really surprising to me.The, the, the fantastic ways that
this amazing tool is beingused. It's also really funny to hear

(02:17):
the different ways peopledescribe their relationship with
the tool. I mean, we've allseen the movies, right, where someone
starts to have a relationshipwith a robot, especially one that's
all dressed up to look like ahuman. And you know, they get better
and better and pretty soonpeople start get scary. You can't
tell the difference. We'reobviously way far from that. At least

(02:37):
I think maybe there's secretstuff going on in labs we don't know
about, but that doesn'tmatter. What I want to talk about
is your ultimate life. Are youhappy? Do you have everything you
want? You know, when I askpeople two questions, they stumble.
Question number one is what doyou want now? Often there's a pause.

(03:03):
Sometimes there's just a popout Answer. I want a bunch of money.
I want to have all the moneyin the world or so much money I never
have to work again or neverhave to worry about money. Or another
real fast one that comes outis I want freedom. Nobody has any
call on my time. Sometimesdepending on the life situation,
they'll say, I want help.Somebody's been struggling with,

(03:25):
you know, a health situationor taking care of somebody. I want
health for my kid or myspouse, you know, my, my partner
or whatever. Those are alleasy to, to immediately say and they're
nowhere near deep enough.Like, what do you really want if
you think about yourself? Ijust did an exercise with chat. GPT

(03:48):
is the one that I use most. And I have some goals that are the
next 12 month goals because asyou know, my new year starts October
14, which is now, I don'tknow, a month and a half ago or so.
And every October 14th I setnew goals and they're not really
New Year's resolutions. I havea vision and then I have a mission

(04:13):
and then I have smaller goals. The vision for my life. And I want
you to think about thisbecause when we talk about creating
your ultimate life, at leastwhat I mean is way beyond this week,
this month, and even thisyear, the vision for your life. Now,
right now we live in Canada, but Joy and I are both dual national

(04:37):
and so we're quite aware ofthe political skullduggery that's
going on in the US Right now.As I record this, the government
shutdown in the United States,or partial shutdown, whatever it
is, is still going on andpeople are not getting paid and some
public assistance is not beingfunded and it's a real catastrophe.

(05:00):
So right now, when someonesays ultimate life, they might be
thinking of right now, nearterm, if I'm in an accident and I've
got a car on my leg, you know, the only thing I'm thinking about
is get the car off my leg.Yeah, I know we're talking about
something bigger and longerthan that because it's always the
case that the near termproblems eventually end. This too

(05:22):
shall pass. The night willend, however dark it is, and there
will be light in the morning. You know, the sun always comes up.
So I'm taking that point ofview. There's a lot to be said about
the struggles, but that's thetopic for a different episode. One
of those things, for example,no matter how crappy the thing that
happens is, you can say, whatawesomeness can I make out of this

(05:46):
mess? We're not talking aboutthat today I want to talk about what
it takes to get your ultimatelife. You might, I don't know. Do
you believe you can havepurpose, prosperity and joy, like,
all at the same time? That's areally interesting question and one
that I have conversationswith, with people a lot. And most

(06:12):
people awkwardly answer it atbest. Or some will say, yes, oh,
yes, of course you can haveit. And then I'll say, well, what
does that look like for you?And they can't really say it. And
after they think about it fora while, they can say it. But my.
My question for you is, if youare creating the ultimate life for
yourself, you have to knowwhat it is right this minute. If

(06:34):
I'm taking a class in college,if I go back to school and I want
to take a university class, and this, that and the other, and
someone says, what's the goal?I already know instantly. It's either
just to learn the stuff, orit's to get an A. Or it's to barely
get through and pass like youalready know and you can, you know
that right away. And for me,it's always getting A, because I
don't like getting anythingless than that. But somebody else

(06:56):
might just say, I just want tolearn stuff. I don't care what my
grade is. And that's a fairapproach too. Although if you get
a crappy grade, maybe youwould question about whether or not
you actually learned thestuff. But that's a different. A
different thing, right? Sowhat is your ultimate life? I'll
tell you what mine is and thenI'm going to ask you to fill this

(07:17):
in my mission this year, lastyear, ending six or eight weeks ago,
I don't know. This episode'scoming out in end of November. So
six weeks ago, my episode ormy goal six weeks ago was to reach
300 million people with amessage. And the message you've heard,
if you've listened theseepisodes, is of your own worth, divinity,

(07:41):
meaning you're a child of God,wi worth identity, which is your
heritage. And the P, W, I P OS. P is your possibility, which is
infinite. Ownership is O,which means you own your life, and
S with sovereignty. So W I P OS. I wanted to reach 300 million

(08:03):
people with that message. Now,I don't know exactly how close we
came. We have had, you know,it's really difficult to tell. I
know we reach millions, tensof millions, and even over a hundred,
maybe 200. I don't know if wequite reach 300, but I don't Care.
And the reason I don't isbecause it is the activity of going

(08:23):
all in with everything that Ihad every day to do that mission
that changed who I am, and itchanges how I show up every day.
And I like that. I love that.So six weeks ago, I set a new goal,
and in the years before that,I just been raising numbers. This
year I changed it. I'm notraising the number this year. I want

(08:43):
to nurture those 300 millionpeople. What does nurture mean? Well,
you know, you plant a garden, you got to nurture it. You weed it,
you put miracle grow on it orwhatever. I've never been particularly
handy at that and haven'tlearned those skills, but I know
what it means to nurture meansto take care of, to assess and provide
the needs to create health andgrowth and that kind of thing. And

(09:07):
it's kind of a tender word. You think about it with, you know,
we just got a small kittenthat was, I forgot, just a few weeks
old, eight weeks old, I think, really tiny. And Joy just took it
to the doctor today. And ofcourse, she's gained a lot of weight
and, you know, quite a bitlonger because little kittens grow
pretty fast. So she's growing, and that's all good. And we're nurturing

(09:32):
her special kitty food, highcalorie, high density, making sure
we don't step on her. That wasreally an issue when she was really
small, and she's dark gray, soit was hard to see, and a little
bit dim, shadowy, all thatkind of stuff. So we had to take
care to nurture her. Well, that's an example of nurture, and
you know what that means. Somy goal is to nurture these 300 million

(09:55):
people with not only themessage but the method. How do you
create that ultimate life?Because so many people tell the story
of, I'm stuck where I am. I'mstuck in my job. I'm stuck with the
income I have. I'm stuck withthe health I have. I'm stuck in limited

(10:16):
possibilities. And I. It hurtsmy heart really a lot. And the reason
is because I used to. Ibelieve that when I was making a
lot of money in the corporateworld, I. I felt really, you know,
proud of myself for making alot of money in the corporate world.
But I was not happy. I was nota happy person. And if you've read

(10:38):
either Tightrope of Depressionor listened to some other episodes,
you know the stories that havecome from that. And in the last 18
years, since 2007, I've donenothing at all but work on this ultimate
life thing. And I live therenow. And in getting to this place
of where I live a life everyday of purpose, prosperity and joy,

(11:01):
then my next immediate goalis, I want to help you have that.
I want to help you have it.I've got courses about how to create
time and how to createproducts. If you choose to sell products,
about how to buildrelationships, about how to love
yourself, how to forgiveyourself from things that you may

(11:22):
have done or that others mayhave done to you, forgive them to
clean your heart and yourenergy out. All kinds of things.
How to make, how to growbusinesses, how to make products,
how to make money. All ofthose things are elements of creating
a life of purpose, prosperityand joy. And because I'm trying to
help 300 million peoplenurture them, nurture you to get

(11:43):
there. That's why I create allthis stuff. One of the things that's
come to mind really powerfullylately is this radical shift in coaching,
which is why I started thatThursday episode interviewing two
coaches a week. And I thinkcoaches are going to be history,
gone, out of business, exceptthe top few percent, maybe 5%, maybe

(12:07):
only 3. And the reason isbecause coaching up to now has been
an act of performance. Now, ifyou go to maybe you remember high
school drama or you've seenauditions for either speaking or
dramatic presentations ormusical orchestras or something,
people that audition, youknow, there's fear and they're worried

(12:30):
and some people are bold andsome people make mistakes and some
people stumble. The act ofauditioning is uncomfortable often.
Right. And maybe it's been foryou also, and you have some memories
of that. Most coaching thathas gone on in the world in the last
10 years and especially sincethe start of COVID in the last 20

(12:53):
to 25, six years, is abysmal, quite frankly. It's abysmal. People
run out and they get acertification in this or that modality.
I saw, I still see ads onFacebook. Become a life coach, you
know, and they show a beachchair coach from anywhere, make money,
blah, blah, blah. No, youwon't. And no, that's not true. And

(13:14):
that's a lie and false andmakes me upset. Become a leadership
coach. Coach executive teamsnonsense. I was one of those C suite
stuff, you know, it's just nottrue. When you're in a position of
authority, you only listen topeople that you believe have something

(13:34):
for you. And just becausesomeone hangs a shingle and took
a few classes and got acertain, maybe they're trained in
A little NLP or some listeningmethodologies and reflective listening
and a bunch of stuff like thatdoesn't make you a coach at all.
Because coaching is not a listof activities, questions, frameworks,
not just accountability. That's just horrifically not even

(13:58):
the base layer. Okay? And allyou have to do is look at sports.
Okay, Right this minute, as werecord this, the sixth game of the
World Series is tonight. Now,by the time you hear this, it'll
be over. And whether Torontowon or the LA Dodgers one will all

(14:19):
be history and in the recordbooks. But tonight, because I'm.
Joy and I are both dualnational, right? But I'm living in
Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, soI'm rooting for the Blue Jays. Dodgers
won last year anyway. Andbesides that, yeah, I got a problem
with some of the stuff goingon in California, so it kind of makes
me not so inclined to root forthe Dodgers. But anyway, whatever,

(14:41):
setting all that aside, I'mrooting for Toronto. And if you look
at the, the differentpositions, pitching, catching fielders,
runners, you know, all of thething. And you want all of the parts
of the game and you watch thecoaches, you know, they show pictures
of coaches and you see them, their faces, and sometimes you see

(15:05):
them talking to the players. And it's interesting to watch those
interactions. Thoseinteractions are very intimate. The
conversations are veryconnected. They're deep, they're.
They're only about the thingthat matters right now. Maybe it's

(15:26):
mindset, maybe it's atechnique, maybe it's, you know,
one of the performativeaspects of, of swinging the bat around
the bases or throwing the ballor whatever. But what, what you can
see is the energetics areconnected. And that's the most important
part of coaching. It alwayshas been. But up to now, coaching
in the last 10 or 12 years, 15years, has been progressively more

(15:48):
commoditized and trashed. Andit has become full of fakes, practitioners
who are trying and maybe theymean well and so forth, but they
haven't really worked onthemselves. They haven't overcome
their own issues, problems, areas of imposter syndrome, how they're
showing up in the world, whatthey believe about themselves, what

(16:09):
they believe is possible. Youknow, they haven't lived. They're
not living the life thatthey're trying to help their client
create. They're not living inthe truth of what they're giving
their client. And I'm notsaying everybody that coaches, a
business owner has to havemade more money than the business
owner, because most of theproblems that I see Even when I'm

(16:30):
coaching, people that ownbusiness aren't in the business expertise,
they're in the mindset, they're in the courage, they're in
the, you know, the beliefsystem. Now there are certainly things
to learn about marketing, about copy, about language, about
writing ads, about productselection, about how to take care
of customers, about how tomanage teams, leadership. There's

(16:52):
all kinds of specifics, areasthat can and need to be worked on.
But the most important thingis the leader. Who's leading? Who
is he? Who's he being? Soanyway, let's get back to the second
question that nobody ever cananswer because this ties into that.

(17:15):
Number one is what do youwant? And we talked about that at
length. And you know, theother question is, who are you? Who
are you? People can't answerthat question. They stop, they, they
stumble. They realize thatthey're supposed to. And there's
that word, supposed to. I hatethat. You probably do too. They're

(17:35):
supposed to say somethingprofound or whatever and they default
to roles. Well, I'm anaccountant. I am a dad. I am, you
know, I'm a YouTube star. I'ma, I'm an influencer. I'm a, you
know, that didn't even used tobe a job, but now lots of kids, you

(17:56):
hear them ask, what do youwant to do? Oh, I want to be an influencer.
Okay. It's a real thing,right? It's actually a thing. And
they make boatloads of cashand there's so many. The highest
growth in millionaires arebetween 18 and 25. I think, I think
I read that somewhere. Butanyway, so they talk about it in
terms of either position, role, you know, some flavor of that

(18:20):
and that has to do with whatyou're doing. And so this goes back
to all of those things that Italked about that someone might need
to learn to run a business orrun it more effectively. Increase
top line revenue, increaseprofit, decrease fixed overhead,
decrease cost, decrease risk. All of those things are activities.

(18:44):
But the most important thingbeyond the activity is who is doing
the activity. A clear exampleis if I am a leader and I've had
a lot of leadership roles whenI was in different corporations,
who's the leader now? One wayto be a leader is to tell everybody
what to do. And you know, yourown insecurities show up and so you're

(19:07):
not open, you don't listenvery well, your authority can't be
challenged. You're the bosstype, leader one way. And you've
probably worked for some ofthose I have. And then there are
other kind of leaders who you,you love to follow. I had one of
those too. Really enjoyed bestboss I ever had in the years when

(19:29):
I had a boss, best boss I everhad. Open, inquisitive, interested
as well as interesting, verycapable at the job and as a leader.
So that person was being aleader. So that is the most important
characteristic. So when I askyou, who are you? Instead of answering

(19:52):
with roles, I want you tothink deeper than that, deeper than
that. You might say I'm aspiritual being having a physical
experience that's closer tothe truth than I'm an accountant.
Because the physicalexperience that we're having is all
over the place. There'sphysical things, there's health,
health things, financialthings, family things. All these

(20:15):
experiences comprise ourexistence, who we are. So I encourage
you to spend some time rightnow and over the next few days answering
the question for yourself at adeeper and deeper level, who are
you? What I know about myselfis I. I am infinite and eternal.

(20:35):
I have existed and I willexist. I know I'm a son of God. I
know I choose to be a discipleand friend of Jesus Christ. But those
are choices. That's a choicethat I made. Being a son of God,
I can't do anything about. Ichoose also to say and be. I am my
word. I speak only truth. I dowhat I say. I am who I seem with

(20:59):
no camouflage, duplicity orguile. That's a really important
statement to me because at anearlier period in my life, none of
that was true at all. And sodeciding who you are and then living
true to that declarationaffects your job. It affects whether
or not you get hired, promoted, make more money, have good

(21:21):
relationships. It affects yourhealth and well being. It affects
your mental health and wellbeing. It affects a lot of things.
So those two questions, whoare you? And what do you want? I
would propose and offerspossibility. They're the two most
important questions you couldanswer yet. They're the ones we spend

(21:42):
the least amount of time on.We're worried more about getting
to work and making some cashand what I'm going to do this weekend,
working for the weekend, hoping we got enough money at the
end of the month, all of thatcrap. And I know that because I've
lived in that frame and hadfor years and I don't anymore and
it's way more fun. So I'vedone both and I can tell you which

(22:03):
is more fun. So let's go backto things that are going on right
now. And coaching. Because oneof the things about coaching really
is like, again, the athlete,an athletic coach. It isn't just
about learning the skill, swinging the bat, catching the ball

(22:24):
or pitching. It is about themental frame, the belief, the spirit,
the internal stuff. That's thething that matters, right? When you're
in the right mindset, you cando anything. You've seen players,
they're in the zone, they'rein the right mindset, everything
is working right. Other timesthey're uptight, you know, they miss.

(22:47):
It doesn't matter if you golfor do whatever, overthink. You've
heard that a million times. Sothat's the foundational framework.
Now let's go back to what Iwas talking a little bit about, coaching.
The reason the coachingindustry is going to be completely
gutted and gone, except forthe very top percent, is because
this new technology that we'recalling AI, although it's not intelligent

(23:10):
at all, but it's the mostawesome researcher and has the ability
to accumulate and present andwrite, writes beautifully. And so
it can research and write andgive us information way faster than
you can, or I can way faster.Right. And if you learn, it's really
important to learn to give it,you know, good prompts and ask good

(23:31):
questions, then it'll blowyour mind. Well, what that does for
coaches is all of the work,100% of the work that has to do with
information you provide.Coaching questions, all of that stuff,
holding space, even offeringencouragement, chatty, will blow
you out of the water. It canoffer emotional, empathetic, powerful,

(23:56):
encouraging language waybetter than you can because its vocabulary
is infinite. And it can goresearch and does all the literature
that's powerful in the worldand come back and say stuff that
you're going, wow. So whatthat means is the only thing left
for coaches, me and all therest is that ability to connect and

(24:20):
get right to the heart of thematter. That's it. Right to the truth,
right to the depth. And that'swhat I was seeing as coaches, and
I see it on lots of sportsteams, But I saw it in conversations
in the baseball games I'vebeen watching over the last few days.
That relationship is developedover time. It's not disconnected.

(24:44):
It's not just a series ofquestions or a framework or some
tools. There has to be trust. There has to be deep trust and a
powerful connection betweenwhoever's coaching, whatever they're
coaching, and the person beingcoached. So that depends on two things.

(25:05):
It depends on the skill of thecoach. It depends on the skill of
the coachee, like if youmaybe. And I'm sure, oh, I don't
know, I've done this. Got intoa situation where I could have received
powerful help and coaching, but I was either pissed off or afraid.
And so it didn't amount toanything because I wasn't listening.
I wasn't open. One of thecoaches that I interviewed the other

(25:27):
day for an episode that'sprobably already out, they said,
you know, less than 1 in 20people are really open to these messages.
And the messages were ofgrowth, of the possibility of AI,
of coaching, of getting toyour ultimate life, all that. And

(25:47):
I said, I find the same thing. Not that people don't want it. Oh,
yeah, I want it. But we allwant the easy button. Ding, ding,
ding. I want it to come in anAmazon box, right? I use that because
we get Amazon all the time.Everything's delivered. I don't know
about you, but we do that alot. And, you know, I've never found
a gold bar in one of those ora package of silver, like, you know,

(26:11):
big cash or a big happinessbutton that makes you happy. That's
always from the inside. And sowhen you go thinking about the coaching
profession, here's what Ithink. If you are not a coach and
you are trying to create yourultimate life, where are you getting

(26:34):
advice or help? Because ifyou're getting your advice and help
from YouTube, TikTok and allthe rest, probably not going to work.
Now, there's lots of YouTubevideos that are good. I've got a
thousand up. A lot of othergood coaches have got things up and
they're helpful. They are. Butthere's never going to be anything,

(26:55):
whether it's on YouTube or thescreen of ChatGPT that equals or
carries the power of a truehuman connection, of someone who
cares about you, who isempathetic, who's actually on your
team and wants you to win asbad as you do. A good coach will
do that. In all the exchangesthat I've had, And there's been 5

(27:18):
thousands upon thousands withchat GPT, especially as I wrote this
book, I mean, I don't know howmany hundreds, maybe a thousand hours
of research and interaction asI talked about, you know, the capabilities
that we're developing indifferent coaching methods and all
that kind of stuff, never oncedid I get a feeling of that it really

(27:38):
wanted me to succeed or thatit really wanted anything. It did
a great job with fantasticwords, encouraging, powerful, you
know, just awesome languagethat the language moved me because
language is powerful. But IDidn't get a sense at any moment
that that essence which iscode of chat GPT had any want for

(28:01):
me at all. So that's why it'sgonna. Its ability to do all that
other stuff is gonna wipe outthe middle. And by middle I mean
all the way up to 95%.Coaching is toast. But if you want
to stay in the game, you gotto be in that percentage where real
connection is powerful. Nowwe've talked for over a thousand

(28:22):
episodes about creating yourultimate life. I look you right in
the eyes with all the love inmy heart and tell you that it's absolutely
possible for you to have itpurpose, prosperity and joy every
day. And I don't care what'sgoing on around you, don't care who
wins what election, what thegovernment does or the weather or
anything else. Becausecontentment and happiness comes from

(28:43):
inside. So when things happenthat I don't want, I say, what's
the masterpiece I can makefrom this mess? I ask that out loud.
Why? Because it's fun. No, itisn't what I wanted. I got a letter
from the Canada Revenue Agencywhich is like irs. I don't go into
doom scrolling or doom saying.I just say hey, this is a game. What

(29:06):
are we going to play? What arewe going to do? And I choose to live
that way every minute of everyhour of every day. I serve my clients
that way. I help them lift andbuild. And you know what it creates
success. Products created, books written, companies started,
millions of dollars in incomeis possible. And it's way more possible

(29:30):
when we are in that place ofpositive belief. So my if you want
to cut years off your learningcurve, if you want to cut years off
your implementation of anykind of growth, grow your business,
grow your income, increaseyour top line revenue and profit,

(29:53):
decrease your overhead, yourfixed costs and your risk, make cash,
make an impact in the world, change lives starting with your own.
The best way that I know howto do that is to get a good coach.
One of those that are or willbe in this top 5% who are in it with

(30:14):
you and who are not in theleast bit worried about performing.
See, one of the cool thingsabout Chatty is it doesn't care what
you think. Right? It doesn't.It doesn't. It's not like worrying
about what you think likepeople are and when we approach others

(30:35):
and we talk to them, but halfof our mind is busy worrying about
what we're thinking or they'rethinking, that means the conversation
is inauthentic and Everybodyfeels it and it's that superficial
garbage. So here's what I'msaying for you today. Want to get
your ultimate life? Get a goodcoach. Number one, if you are a coach,

(30:56):
then you got to get to that5%. Now, here's some ways to, to
look at that. I don't. Some ofthe coaches that I've interviewed,
interviewed in the last fewepisodes don't even use the word
coach. I'm not a coach. They've used the word soul guide.
Okay, I'll go with that.Because we're not just people. We

(31:17):
don't just have a quarterly oryearly objectives. We don't just
have KPIs, we don't just haveincome goals. You see over and over
again that people aren'thappy. They make money and commit
suicide. They make money andthen the relationships fall apart.
They make money and their kidshate them. You see zillions of those

(31:38):
examples. So obviously tohappiness and the ultimate life,
there's a lot more to that. SoI want you to think about this idea
of a soul guide. Who is yoursoul guide? Now? You can say, I don't
need one. Then my question toyou is, are you living the ultimate
life right now? If you're not,you need a soul guide. I can pretend
you don't and say, well, youknow, you can find it some other

(32:01):
way, go ahead. But if you wantto cut years off your learning, off
your growth curve, you know, get a soul guide or a coach, a good
one, one of those top, top,top tier ones, because they can cut
years off your businessgrowth, years off your soul growth,
years off your happinessgrowth, all kinds of that. And you

(32:24):
can tell by talking to someonefor half an hour, an hour, where
they're at in that spiritual, emotional context. It used to be
in business for many of theyears that I was in business and
executive leadership. Youcan't bring personal crap to work.
Leave that crap at home whenyou come to work, leave it at the

(32:45):
door. You know, that kind ofthing. And that is utter nonsense.
Utter nonsense. You see it onthe athletic field, and I go back
to that because it's soobvious. If a person's got a personal
problem, tragedy, or someother thing going on in their life
and they're out there tryingto play. Commentators are busy. Yeah,

(33:05):
so and so, you know, they'renot there. They're missing this and
that, and they just had thishappen and it's obvious. So you can't
separate that. And pretendingthat you can is just robbing you
of the Experience of a fulland powerful life. So there's a crisis
going on right now. It's acrisis of surface living. The noise,

(33:30):
the news, dopamine loops, algorithmic living. I get up, I look
at the phone, I cruise intothe day. I drink my coffee, I get
to work. I yell at thetraffic. I get off at work because
my colleague hasn't done theirpiece of the project. I'm uptight
because the boss is coming in.You know the drill if you've lived

(33:53):
that. And on and on, so and sosick again. I got to pick up their
crap. I got to work an extrashift. You know. You know that if
you're an entrepreneur, oh, Iwas going to do this. The product
didn't work. Oh, nobody's, youknow, opting into my opt in page.
Nobody's landing. Nobody'spicking up my lead magnet. I spoke

(34:13):
and no one came up and talkedto me afterwards. What's wrong with
me? Oh, I'm tired of working.Am I even going to make it? Am I
worth all this? Is anybodygoing to listen? I just finished
this book, and nobody gives acrap. Like, you know, the endless
stream of stuff, whether youhave a job or whether you don't.
Even if you're a parent. I'msucking as a parent. I wonder if

(34:34):
my kids are going to be okay.I wonder if I screwed that. I wonder
if my screwed that up. Iwonder if my teenager is going to
ever talk to me again. Like, every one of those things is normal.
And they're all things we canget past easily and quickly. And
one of the things I'm gratefulfor about this monstrous change that

(34:56):
happening with AI is all thegarbage about soul guides. Coaches,
whatever you want to callthem, is going to be torn out of
the middle and tossed in thescrap heap. And I am so grateful
for that. And if that's you,if you're looking for a good coach,
make sure that you, you know, you trust your gut. Like, you talk

(35:17):
to somebody, they really feellike they give a crap, and they're
going to take you where youwant to go. Like, you need to know
that. And if you are a coach, you can't pretend that this isn't
going to change your world. You can't pretend that you. Well,
it's just the human touch, andI just have to show up. You're full
of crap. If you're not clawingyour way up the mountain of growth
every day, all the time, thenyou're going to be left in the dustbin

(35:39):
of history. One of the Thingsthat makes the coaching profession
so needed right now. I justsaw a post from the CEO of Nvidia
and he was talking about theawesome opportunity of AI right now.
He said that, you know, we'reless than $200 billion of investment

(36:01):
into what's going to be amulti trillion dollar industry and
Therefore less than 10% of thebuild out has even begun to be completed.
And that means a staggeringopportunity not only for investment,
but for creativity and growth. And then he said, your worry isn't

(36:22):
that your job's going to betaken by AI, it's that your job's
going to be taken by someonewho knows how to use AI better than
you do. And I just thoughtthat was a, a thud, you know, a big
true and right point. So rightnow, careers are changing, there's

(36:45):
upheaval in the market, thework market that's going to create
family and relationshipupheaval. If there was ever a time
to go get that soul guide, man, I am, I have that. I always
have that. Because in myopinion, a coach without a coach
is a fraud. Because that meansthat you think you don't need to

(37:09):
be on the mountain of growth.I don't want a coach that's not working
on that and I hope you don'teither. So if you're a coach, you
need to get busy because thischange is going to take your job.
If you're not, this AI changeis going to take your job. And who's

(37:30):
going to take it is somebodythat knows how to use these tools
better, faster and is moreopen to this than you are. Two of
the coaches that I interviewedin the last little while talked about
it just had exactly to do withage. One said, well, my first thought
was I was just curious, wow, what's this going to bring? Another

(37:50):
one said, oh, I tried to avoidit as long as possible. Had directly
to do with which generationthey were in. Right? Leaning in is
a way to get to your ultimatelife. Loving yourself is a way to
get to your ultimate life.Forgiving everyone, everything is
a way to get to your ultimatelife. Lean into the changes that

(38:12):
are happening. All of thistechnology is wonderful and if you
don't know that, that's justbecause you're not in it enough.
And I'm talking about deep useof this astounding tool. And yeah,
it hallucinates and yeah, it'sprogrammed to be nice and pet you
and stuff. So tell it to quit.Like, I'm not going to do an episode

(38:35):
right now on how to use AI.Although one of the things that the
Nvidia CEO said is there'sgoing to be more millionaires in
the next five times. Moremillionaires from AI than there ever
was from the Internet. And weknow the Internet created tons of
millionaires, tons of them, hesaid. Five times more from this AI

(38:57):
So this episode has been overabout a lot of things. AI is coming
and it's here. Get busy withit and get to learn it. If it's going
to affect your work and itwill in a dramatic way, be front
and center about learning howto use it and get over this whole
fear nonsense. If there wasever a time to need a coach or a
soul guide man, it is now, right now, this next two to four

(39:25):
years staggering requirement. And in order to be the kind of coach
that matters at all in thatfast changing environment, you have
to be anchored in the processof growth. Because all of this stuff
that's happening is aboutgrowth, adaptation. And if you're

(39:46):
struggling with fear and youare full of doubts and all those
voices in your head andthey're keeping you from taking action,
you're toast. And that's adoom prediction. But the other half
is you don't have to bebecause the levers are in your hands.
You're learning youropportunity, your capability is within

(40:09):
your hands. And you know, howcome I know you can do this? Because
clear back at the beginning, Italked about your worth, which is
infinite, your identity, whichis divine, your possibility, which
is beyond your wildest dreams.Ownership, which is you own, your
life and sovereign, whichmeans you control everything that

(40:29):
comes into your heart and yourlife. And if you don't understand
what I'm saying right now, orif you don't, you're not living a
life of full joy. Let's talk.Go to this Kellen Flukegar Media
and get a use the contact formand let's talk. Because that's all
I do is help people realizewho they are, what you can do. Create

(40:53):
business, create impact, andthen live in purpose, prosperity
and joy. I know you can do it.I don't know if you're going to,
but I know you can. And ifyou're looking for the kind of help
you need to get there, get it.Because the longer you wait, the
more behind you will be or Iwill be. But I'm not behind because

(41:16):
I'm all in, all over the placeon this. And that's why I offer the
kind of help that I do. I'mconfident in your ability to create.
I don't know what you're doingwith it. I'm confident in my ability
to love you and bless you ifyou're willing to learn. One of the
things I notice is that whenyou get a person that says they want

(41:40):
to be coached and, you know, start to work with you, and then
the first thing you want to dois argue for limitations and tell
you why everything that you'reseeing as the mirror is wrong. Because.
And yeah, well, don't be that. This is the time for change and growth
if there ever was since you orI took our first breath. I want you

(42:05):
to leave this episode withabsolute confidence. And I want you
to leave it with a plan tomove forward one step every day.
Get the resources you need, get the help you need. Love yourself
and man. It is time to createyour ultimate life. Right here, right

of you. Every episode givesyou practical tips and practices

The Burden

The Burden

The Burden is a documentary series that takes listeners into the hidden places where justice is done (and undone). It dives deep into the lives of heroes and villains. And it focuses a spotlight on those who triumph even when the odds are against them. Season 5 - The Burden: Death & Deceit in Alliance On April Fools Day 1999, 26-year-old Yvonne Layne was found murdered in her Alliance, Ohio home. David Thorne, her ex-boyfriend and father of one of her children, was instantly a suspect. Another young man admitted to the murder, and David breathed a sigh of relief, until the confessed murderer fingered David; “He paid me to do it.” David was sentenced to life without parole. Two decades later, Pulitzer winner and podcast host, Maggie Freleng (Bone Valley Season 3: Graves County, Wrongful Conviction, Suave) launched a “live” investigation into David's conviction alongside Jason Baldwin (himself wrongfully convicted as a member of the West Memphis Three). Maggie had come to believe that the entire investigation of David was botched by the tiny local police department, or worse, covered up the real killer. Was Maggie correct? Was David’s claim of innocence credible? In Death and Deceit in Alliance, Maggie recounts the case that launched her career, and ultimately, “broke” her.” The results will shock the listener and reduce Maggie to tears and self-doubt. This is not your typical wrongful conviction story. In fact, it turns the genre on its head. It asks the question: What if our champions are foolish? Season 4 - The Burden: Get the Money and Run “Trying to murder my father, this was the thing that put me on the path.” That’s Joe Loya and that path was bank robbery. Bank, bank, bank, bank, bank. In season 4 of The Burden: Get the Money and Run, we hear from Joe who was once the most prolific bank robber in Southern California, and beyond. He used disguises, body doubles, proxies. He leaped over counters, grabbed the money and ran. Even as the FBI was closing in. It was a showdown between a daring bank robber, and a patient FBI agent. Joe was no ordinary bank robber. He was bright, articulate, charismatic, and driven by a dark rage that he summoned up at will. In seven episodes, Joe tells all: the what, the how… and the why. Including why he tried to murder his father. Season 3 - The Burden: Avenger Miriam Lewin is one of Argentina’s leading journalists today. At 19 years old, she was kidnapped off the streets of Buenos Aires for her political activism and thrown into a concentration camp. Thousands of her fellow inmates were executed, tossed alive from a cargo plane into the ocean. Miriam, along with a handful of others, will survive the camp. Then as a journalist, she will wage a decades long campaign to bring her tormentors to justice. Avenger is about one woman’s triumphant battle against unbelievable odds to survive torture, claim justice for the crimes done against her and others like her, and change the future of her country. Season 2 - The Burden: Empire on Blood Empire on Blood is set in the Bronx, NY, in the early 90s, when two young drug dealers ruled an intersection known as “The Corner on Blood.” The boss, Calvin Buari, lived large. He and a protege swore they would build an empire on blood. Then the relationship frayed and the protege accused Calvin of a double homicide which he claimed he didn’t do. But did he? Award-winning journalist Steve Fishman spent seven years to answer that question. This is the story of one man’s last chance to overturn his life sentence. He may prevail, but someone’s gotta pay. The Burden: Empire on Blood is the director’s cut of the true crime classic which reached #1 on the charts when it was first released half a dozen years ago. Season 1 - The Burden In the 1990s, Detective Louis N. Scarcella was legendary. In a city overrun by violent crime, he cracked the toughest cases and put away the worst criminals. “The Hulk” was his nickname. Then the story changed. Scarcella ran into a group of convicted murderers who all say they are innocent. They turned themselves into jailhouse-lawyers and in prison founded a lway firm. When they realized Scarcella helped put many of them away, they set their sights on taking him down. And with the help of a NY Times reporter they have a chance. For years, Scarcella insisted he did nothing wrong. But that’s all he’d say. Until we tracked Scarcella to a sauna in a Russian bathhouse, where he started to talk..and talk and talk. “The guilty have gone free,” he whispered. And then agreed to take us into the belly of the beast. Welcome to The Burden.
