Welcome to the show.
Tired of the hype about livinga dream?
It's time for truth.
This is the place for tools, power, and real talk, so you can
create the life you dream anddeserve your ultimate life.
Subscribe, share, create.

(00:24):
You have infinite power.
Hi.
Welcome to your ultimate life.
Welcome to your absolute joy, pleasure, and power.
You know, I talk about thisevery single episode a little bit
and from a different angle.
And sometimes I use the samewords, and sometimes completely different

(00:45):
words.
And a lot of it depends onwhat's going on around me, what I've
seen, who I've talked to.
And I come to the sameconclusion over and over again.
And that is, you're the architect.
Now, this little screen behindme says the law of the Architect.
And I use that as a backgroundfor a class that I taught, I don't

(01:05):
know, a couple of weeks ago.
And the reason I used it isbecause it's a true thing.
And it talks about your.
Your.
The need to be the architectof something.
You know, we.
We.
We do this haphazard approachto life.
Often, like, I don't know, youjust get up and you do whatever's

(01:26):
handy.
Maybe you have a littlemorning ritual about grooming.
You know, if you're a guy, maybe you shave or maybe you have
a beard, maybe you don't.
You dome your hair, take ashower, do whatever.
And so you prepare your body, and then maybe you eat, okay, I gotta
eat, gotta eat breakfast, or whatever.
And so you prepare your body also.
Or maybe you exercise a littleand you gotta prepare your body.
So there's a lot of thingsthat we might do to prepare our bodies,

(01:50):
either cleanliness or somekind of personal hygiene or exercise
or both.
And we do that because itfeels good.
If you're going out in publicor you're going to be in public on
Zooms or make, you know, appearances somewhere.
You want to look presentableand decent and, you know, don't want
to stink.
So you use deodorant orwhatever it is.

(02:12):
If you're on Zoom, I guessnobody smells yet over the video,
but we do that preparation, and we do it because we think, okay,
somebody's going to see me,and I want to look presentable, maybe
attractive, maybe powerful, maybe focused, maybe not slovenly,

(02:33):
but maybe, you know, together.
I want to appear to betogether, you know, have it together.
And so, you know where this isgoing to go.
It's like, why is it only ourbody that we pay automatic and unwavering
attention to?
Well, there's a couple of reasons.
One you wake up, you got to goto the bathroom.
You can't ignore that very long.

(02:55):
You might wake up and feel hungry.
So you say, oh, I'm hungry.
I gotta eat.
I gotta handle that feeling inmy body that says, I need, you know,
juice, a muffin, whatever, yogurt, whatever you eat in the morning.
But I've gotta nourish the body.
And if we go very long, yourblood sugar gets low, your brain
might get a little foggy andso forth.

(03:16):
So there are signals that tellus you gotta care for the body.
Then we have societal normsthat people react.
If I show up looking, youknow, tired or not in good shape,
you know, if you party thenext last night and you wake up looking
not all there or hungover orsomething like that, we don't.

(03:37):
We don't want that becausethat has negative consequences.
And we know those, and we'reacquainted with those our whole lives.
And that's fine.
As far as the body goes.
Now I want to do somethingelse, talk about something else.
If you're going to take atest, maybe you're going to school,
or maybe when you remember youwent to school, or maybe you're taking

(03:59):
some continuing education andyou think, oh, I want to do well
on the test.
So I study.
I remember, maybe I preparesome note cards and, you know, whatever
it is to learn the principles, the ideas, the formulas, the processes
that I have studied.
So I have them at my fingertips.
Maybe if you're going to havea performance, you know, I played

(04:23):
the piano for a lot of yearsor sing, and I still do.
So you warm up, you work on things.
I've already done some workthis morning on some songs.
I'm preparing for a concertI'm going to do.
I'm going to do a concert with.
On the third album that I havecalled Oasis, there's an album I'm
preparing.
It's got 15 songs on it, Oasis.

(04:44):
And I'm gonna do a liveconcert, and a dozen of those, 15
are already released.
They're on Spotify, if you're curious.
So look up my name on Spotify, and they're released in groups of
three.
And I'm gonna do a liveconcert here in Edmonton on that.
So.
And I'm.
I prepare for that.
Of course I do.
Why?
Because I wanna know the material.
I don't want to have theaudience focused on the fact that

(05:08):
the singer, the performer, thepianist and singer doesn't have his
stuff together, can't rememberthe lyrics or, you know, is so focused
on, you know, trying to playthe music.
Right.
That he's not performing.
And so not only am I going toget the music really well learned,
I have it on most of them.
And, and.
But I want to focus onexpression and creativity so that

(05:29):
you, as an audience member, you're like, oh, wow, I can feel
this.
I'm glad I came.
I got messages, I got uplifted.
And if you know my stuff, it'sall about your ultimate life.
It's all about meeting thechallenges we have in life head on,
overcoming them, using them asgrowth opportunities, building blocks,

(05:52):
and then creating the ultimatelife, the life of purpose, prosperity,
and joy that I enjoy today andevery day.
So why am I using all theseexamples of preparation?
Well, it's really simple.
When there's a specificdeadline, like a concert or a test

(06:13):
or we're going to the officeand, you know, we have.
Or hunger, you know, we havethese signals or external events
that require us if we're goingto perform well or look good or not
offend people or whatever, to prepare.
Right.
And we do those things automatically.
Well, my question for you is,when there isn't one of these externalities

(06:38):
that's obvious and forces usessentially to prepare.
And I'm not saying you do itall the time.
Yeah, I've gone to wing it anda bunch of times, and so have you.
And you congratulate.
Congratulate yourself.
Oh, yeah, I was just wingingand I did so good.
Yeah.
And that's not normally, youknow, you feel like you skated a
little, or sometimes you evensay, I do way better when I just

(06:58):
wing it.
I'm just, you know, in the moment.
And I've done all that too.
So I'm not downplaying any of that.
I'm old enough that I've triedall these different approaches.
But here's what I want to talk about.
What about when there's nothing?
What about when it's just a day?
In fact, what does just a dayeven mean?
Every single day you drawbreath is a performance.

(07:25):
Think about that.
It's a performance.
That performance happens once, and then that day is gone forever.
And it's written in thehistory books, in the book of life,
in the minds of those you werewith, in your own mind and heart
and memory.
It's.
It's over.
And I'm not saying that tocreate this idea of pressure, because

(07:49):
often if we're going to do aprezi at work or something, we feel
some kind of pressure like, ooh, I better do that good.
Or I'm Going to suck.
I'm not talking about that.
I'm not talking about creating pressure.
But I am asking you about your desire.
Because your ultimate life isan idea that you have a purpose.

(08:12):
You may or may not know whatit is right now.
You may or may not feel itdriving you or calling you.
But purpose is the first wordin purpose, prosperity, and joy.
And here's what I know.
You and I were created by thedivine creator.
I'll use the word God, and youcan substitute whatever spiritual
power you want to to make itfit for you.

(08:35):
But we were created by thatdivine being.
We were created by God.
So that makes you and me achild of God, a son or a daughter.
So with that divine heritage, like there's purpose, creation's
not an accident.
We were intentionally,lovingly created.
So that's a.
That.
That gives you pause.

(08:55):
That's a staggering thought.
Wow.
I am created on purpose, notsome accident.
My spirit, now your body, yourphysical body, you've got a genealogy.
You had parents and they had parents.
But the pedigree of yourspirit is just like one line.

(09:17):
Wow, God, you, God, meindividually, I don't know how the
mechanics of all that works, and I don't care.
But here's what I know.
That's true.
So it's not an accident.
And you have a purpose.
And purpose, prosperity, andjoy is about finding that purpose,

(09:37):
choosing it to own it,internalize, lean into.
Love it with all your heartand use it to serve.
And because we are servingwith such vigor and power, we create
awesome value.
And since money follows value, people pour money on you.

(09:59):
And as a combination of theservice and love that you offer combined
with your choice to live in astate of growth, that creates joy.
Joy is a choice.
Joy is a choice.
What?
Joy is a choice.
Now I'm married to joy, sothat was also a choice.
And every time I say thatabout joy, I say I'm married to joy

(10:22):
because it's funny for meevery time.
Maybe you're tired of hearingit, so I just invite you to consider
that.
And I waxed a little poetichere about our opportunity to prepare
every day.
Because every day goes onceand we get to have it once.
And so what that makes me wantto do is be the best I can be that

(10:46):
day, because I might not behere tomorrow.
Now, as I record this, and Idon't know when you're going to hear
it, it may be days, weeks, months from now.
And so a couple of days ago, Igot an email from my sister that
my mom Passed away.
And so she lived a good Life.
She was 91 and a half can be92 in a few months.

(11:08):
So she had a long life, andshe was productive and did a lot
of good stuff and a lot ofservice and et cetera, et cetera.
So it was not sudden.
Sudden.
It's always sudden.
You're alive and then you're dead.
But it wasn't unexpected.
And I know because I'vealready had my own death experience
when I chose to come back.
I know where she's going, whatshe's doing, and I know that she's

(11:31):
with my dad.
And they were very in lovewith each other and lived, you know,
together for many years beforehe passed.
But she's been a widow now for 20.
I don't know, 20 years.
27 years.
Almost 30 years.
27 years.
So she's had a long periodwithout him, which was lonely for
her.
But my point is, you're aliveone day and you're dead the next,

(11:54):
right?
And so it is sudden.
So we never know when that'sgoing to be.
It can be after you're 91 orit can be tomorrow because there's
an accident or a sudden illness.
I contracted a sudden illnessin 2018 and flatlined and died in
the ICU and had someconversations with God, and one of
them was a conversation aboutwhether to stay or go, meaning go

(12:18):
into the eternal world or stay here.
And I chose to stay.
So I'm here by choice.
But you know what?
We all are because we chose tocome before we came the first time.
We just don't remember allthose details.
So all of this is preamble toset you up to something, for something
I call the scroll of Truth and Power.
Now, the scroll of Truth andPower is a document that I created

(12:43):
for myself with this idea ofpreparation in mind.
I want to.
I choose to live each day thevery best I can, intentionally.
Like focused and powerful and useful.
That doesn't mean I don't play.
That doesn't mean I don't goon vacay.

(13:04):
That doesn't mean I don't justgo hang out with joy sometimes.
But whatever I'm doing, Ichoose to do it the best I can with
focused intention.
So in the last day or so, I'vereceived lots of comments and heartfelt
wishes of condolences and soforth, because my mom passed.

(13:30):
And it just warms my heart tosee the tender outpouring of people.
Now, tons of people commentedon my Facebook post, many of which
I know and interact with atleast on social on a fairly regular
basis.
But many, at least half Iwould say not.
And many I don't even knowtheir names and I didn't know they

(13:53):
would see my post or that theyare following me or our friends.
Because you know, sometimes wehave lots of friend requests of folks
we don't know.
I have that because of my workas a coach and I don't have time.
We have thousands and probablyso do you.
My other page has 15,00014,000 something followers.

(14:15):
So I don't know them manypersonally, but I love them and it's
a heartfelt joy to hear andsee those wishes.
And the preparation that Italked about that I do puts me in
a state where my feeling istwo things.

(14:36):
When I feel warm and gratefulbecause they are sending those wishes
and I feel tender toward themand I say something back and it's
not driven by being polite orit's not driven by the need to acknowledge.
It is driven by true gratitudeand acknowledging their their beingness

(14:58):
as a child of God also and asharing the common experience of
sadness for a moment.
And they've chosen to sharethat with me.
And that's a beautiful thing.
So what I wanted to talk aboutfor the bulk of our time today is
the scroll of Truth and Power.
And if you want to see thewhole scroll because I can't read

(15:19):
it to you, it's too long, Iwould recommend you this book Living
with Purpose and Power.
It is the most recent book Ipublished, although I'm working on
another one.
It is my 20th.
What I'm working on now isnumber 21 and in the scroll of Truth
and or not the scroll, but inthe book Living with Purpose and

(15:39):
Power, I share all mydocuments including this scroll of
truth and Power.
And more importantly I talkabout how to create your own own
because when you want to findor choose your life purpose, you
have to do some examination inyour soul about who you are and what
you want to create.

(15:59):
You get to choose how you addyour presence to the world.
I use the phrase a lot, addinggood to the world because that's
a choice that I make.
I choose all day, with every interaction.
How can I add good to thisperson's life?
How can I lift them up alittle bit or a lot?
How can I add good to the world?

(16:21):
And you know, you can makestuff up on the spot and I find about
how you can add good to theworld and I find it way easier to
do that when I've prepared theway I talk about in the scroll here,
the way I talk about in livingwith purpose and power.
So I wrote that book for two reasons.
One, to share how I createddocument, what it does for me, why

(16:44):
it's the most powerful writingin the world, except with the exception
of God's word in Scripture.
That document is my ownpersonal scripture.
It is a.
A conversation, much of whichwas revealed to me by God, about
who I am, what I'm about, andmy purpose here.
And to.
To make that document and thento memorize it, internalize it, weave

(17:10):
it into every strand of myDNA, makes me remember, moment to
moment, that I am a child ofGod, I have a purpose, what that
purpose is.
And recommit.
Recommit.
Recommit every moment.
And I find that is the mostjoyful, powerful, fun way to live.

(17:30):
I've never had as much fun asI have right now in my life, and
that's absolutely the truth.
And yes, I'm experiencing somesadness at my mom's passing, but
I know where she is and I knowwhat she's doing, and so there's
some joy there, too.
The last years of her lifewere, you know, broken.
She was broken.
He's getting old, and Walkerand, you know, some memory fading

(17:54):
and so forth.
That happens when we get that age.
Not always, but usually.
So I'm grateful that she'swith my dad now, grateful that she
taught me music.
The greatest thing that I tookfrom her is the music.
Developing music.
I learned to play the pianowhen I was young, and I've gone on

(18:15):
to develop thatprofessionally, both playing and
singing and et cetera, et cetera.
So back to this scroll.
Now I.
Picture.
Here's what it is.
I want you to think of aherald on the castle wall.
And maybe there's sometrumpets or not.
I don't know.

(18:36):
But the.
The.
The herald is reading thescroll at the top of his voice to
project with infinite power.
That's how I treat this scroll.
And it's funny because in the.
In the scroll itself, the fontI chose was one of these wavy, curly

(18:58):
fonts like I imagine it's inmy imagination, would be medieval
in nature.
And there's a castle wall, andsomebody's reading this scroll from
that castle wall, only it's mereading it again aloud to myself
and to my God.
I also have language in therethat describes my work.

(19:25):
So it's tied together with myown contract, my Magna Carta, with.
With God and with.
With clients, with people thatI work with, because there's a.
I.
I'm not Only speaking tomyself and to God.
But I'm also, in the language, speaking to a client or a prospective

(19:47):
client, talking about thepower, the intent, the focus, the
intensity and the results ofthe work we do.
Because the work that I dowith people's intents.
And the reason is becauseyou're so awesome.
You're amazing.
You're a miracle.
You're magic.
The odds of you living andbeing like you are one in a number

(20:07):
so big you and I can't countthat high or even imagine that high,
you know, with a hundred zerosor more.
And that's infinitesimally small.
And the reason is becausewe're all literally unique.
Not only from a DNAperspective of which the combinations
are infinite, but also from anexperience perspective.

(20:28):
Your spirit, the experiencesyou've had, the things you've learned,
the knowledge and things youbrought with you.
Like all of us know we weresomewhere before.
And the personalities of evenidentical twins are completely different.
So the physical DNA is only a.
A fraction.
That spiritual DNA is by far larger.

(20:49):
And then you add to that theinsane number of combinations of
experiences and feelings andattitudes and so forth that we have
in this life.
We're not just a littleunique, we're wildly unique.
And that is cool.
So the scroll of Truth and Power.
And I'm going to tell you justa little bit, there's five staves.
Now, stave is a word for verse.

(21:12):
Stave the first.
And I use that languagebecause it's like, you know, reading
from the wall.
The scroll of Truth and Power.
Stave the first.
Guided and nurtured by Godthrough the valley of death and refined
in fires of abuse, depression, addiction and self loathing.

(21:34):
I am become the ultimatealchemist, lover of people, healer
of souls, magnifier of prosperity.
Stave the second.
And in the second stave, Italk about what I do and what a potential
client does to create theirown powerful identity and declaration.

(21:59):
So that's one of the thingsthat's in living with purpose and
power is how to create thesekind of declarations and why and
how to make them so powerfulthey rattle your soul every time
you say them from memory.
And they move you.
They're literally part of you.
The second thing is how tocreate yourself every day.
Which goes back to the thingthat we talked about at the start,

(22:21):
which was this idea that whenyou have something important happening,
you create yourself.
You don't let that happen accidentally.
Well, then why would you or Ilet one of our precious days go by
without preparation?

(22:41):
Think about that I'm justgoing to show up today and see what
happens.
Oh yeah, it was a sucky day.
Wish I'd war.
It's like saying I don't.
They're not going to payattention to the weather at all.
I'm just going to go outsideand hope I'm okay.
Well, some seasons you mightbe okay.
In the wintertime in Edmonton,if you don't check the weather, you
could pay serious consequences.

(23:04):
So preparing for your day isintelligent, it is powerful, and
it is the source of infinite joy.
When you show up prepared fora performance and you do well, you
serve the people who listenedand you serve yourself and you honor
your creator.
So the scroll of truth andpower is that document and process

(23:30):
for me.
So I do a morning creation, daily creation process.
I don't use the words morningritual because that has become a
cliche and I don't like totrivialize it.
It's a daily creation processand mine takes me a couple of hours,
sometimes maybe two and a half.
But it's powerful.
And when I get done, I am allin, focused and capable and meet

(23:52):
every situation with awesome power.
Now, yesterday was.
Yesterday morning was aperfect example.
I did my morning ritual fullon, totally prepared, came down,
was having breakfast, saw anemail from my sister and realized
my mother had passed.

(24:12):
Now, I don't know how it wouldhave affected me if I had no preparation.
But because I was fullyprepared spiritually, physically,
emotionally, mentally, I wasimmediately able to go to a place
of love and understanding instantly.
And that was beautiful andpowerful not only for me, but for
others that I interacted withYesterday morning and all day it

(24:37):
has left me again because Iprepared this morning in a state
of grace, godly power andcrazy love.
And as I thought about, youknow, the things that had happened
in, in her life and my lifeand all, all of that, I was also
blessed to feel her spirit.

(25:00):
And there were some unresolved issues.
I wrote about those intightrope of depression.
My own book journey, my ownjourney from darkness, despair and
death to light, love and life.
And I felt the circle close interms of completion not of her life,
but of all of those things.
And so everything, there's noangst, there's no yearning.

(25:24):
It is closed in absolute peace.
What a blessing.
And it's because I have thiskind of preparation document.
So when I say in that firstday, you know, through the valley
of death and the fires of allthose things, I'm acknowledging the,
the role of refining fire inmy life that I meet head On.

(25:49):
And I enter refining fireevery day on purpose.
That's not a one.
And done.
I choose, as I create my life, okay.
To master the principles ofcreation and create my life.
To enter refining fire every day.
Because I want to.
I want to grow every day.

(26:10):
And so I pursue that.
And in the second stave, Italk about how my people that I work
with create their own lives.
And I give them or help themcreate tools.
Now, I have something called aguiding star set of documents.
One is this scroll of truthand power, but it's not the only

(26:32):
one.
There are other declarationsof being, but I also help clients
create their own declarations.
And, you know, the state ofbeing that they want to have.
And it's always mighty and powerful.
And so my invitation to youtoday is again, I said it a minute

(26:52):
ago.
Get this book and read it orlet's talk.
I invite you to chat with mebecause deciding choosing your life
purpose and then embracing itwith everything you are creates the
most money, the most fun, andthe most impact in the world.
Now, almost everyone I talk tosays, I want to help people.

(27:15):
I want to have a big impact.
That desire comes becauseyou're a divine being.
You focus that desire becausewhen you think about your life, you
say, wow, I've been throughthis, this, this, and this.
I've learned this, this, and this.
I sure could help people withthis, this, and this.
And that Yearning builds thisdesire in us to go do and serve with

(27:37):
that.
And then we stop and we don't.
And maybe we volunteer in thecommunity and maybe we do something
in our church, but we havethis idea that we could do so much
more.
And you know what?
The idea is true, and you're right.
And this is your invitation todo it now.
And so your invitation tostart with is get that book.
Go to kellenfluecigermedia.comthis little URL here on the top and

(27:59):
contact me.
There's a contact form.
Let's talk.
Because finding out orchoosing your own life purpose, that's
consistent with your divinegifts, your life experience, that's
the most important choiceyou're going to make.
You're a child of God.
You have infinite capabilitybecause you have the DNA of divinity.

(28:20):
What?
Yeah, the DNA of divinity.
I saw a post the other daythat had some of the kids of the
Beatles.
It might have been a kid ofeach of them, I don't know.
And it talked about theirmusic ability and the songs a couple
of them had written together.
And, you know, Paul McCartneywas in the audience at a performance
and you know, he's emotionaland everything.

(28:42):
So.
So think about that for a minute.
Says some musical training and ability.
Generationally, you have gifts.
Are you maximizing those?
Are you intentionallyidentifying them and then developing
them so that you can serve?
Because people, purpose, prosperity and joy includes the prosperity

(29:04):
piece cash.
And I can't tell you, I can'tcount the number of times people
that I talk to, sometimes aspodcast guests, sometimes as clients,
sometimes as prospect, sometimes as one of the members of
the challenges that I hold.
And if you have a story youwant to tell, see that right there.
Dream build, write it dot com.
