In the heat of the moment, when everything in you wants to stop, that’s where transformation begins. In this video, I reflect on something my coach says during the most brutal workouts: “This is where you change.” When the body is screaming and the mind is begging for comfort, he’d remind me: “Eddie, I thought you wanted change… this is where it happens.”
That message has stuck with me beyond the gym. Because pain isn’t the enemy, it’s the cost of greatness. It’s the toll we pay to become stronger, more resilient, and closer to the person we want to be. Whether it’s a workout, a life challenge, or chasing your dreams, the hard part is the work.
Use the pain. And keep going. That’s where you change.
