Qasim Rashid is a candidate for US Congress (IL11) on a fully people-funded campaign. In addition to seeking the Democratic nomination, Qasim is a notable human rights lawyer, author and speaker. Qasim would be the first Pakistani-American Congressman and runs on a progressive platform with a focus on economic, social and climate justice for all. As a resident of Naperville, IL, Qasim is happily married to his wife Ayesha of nearly 17 years and together they have 3 children attending Naperville public schools.
