Η παρουσίαση αυτή ασχολείται με ένα ευρέως γνωστό, εμβληματικό, αλλά και ταυτόχρονα παραμελημένο κτήριο στη νεκρή ζώνη στη Λευκωσία: το ξενοδοχείο Λήδρα Πάλας. Πρόκειται για ένα κτήριο που, από την ανέγερση του το 1949, μέχρι και σήμερα έχει συνδέσει άρρηκτα το όνομα του με τη σύγχρονη, ταραχώδη ιστορία της Κύπρου. Δεν αποτελεί απλώς ένα πολυτελές ξενοδοχείο, αλλά ένα χώρο ο οποίος αντανακλά τις περισσότερες από τις πιο σημαντικές στιγμές της σύγχρονης πολιτικής ιστορίας της Κύπρου, από τις αρχές της δεκαετίας του 1950, αλλά ταυτόχρονα και ένα χώρο που έπαιξε σημαντικό ρόλο στην ανάπτυξη και ανάδειξη μιας κοσμοπολίτικής και πολυπολιτισμικής Κύπρου. Η παρουσίαση θα αναφερθεί και στην έκθεση Λήδρα Πάλας: Χορεύοντας σε μια γραμμή η οποία παρουσιάστηκε πρόσφατα στο Λεβέντειο Δημοτικό Μουσείο Λευκωσίας.
