Ця проповідь розповідає дві зворушливі історії, які переплітаються у Євангелії від Марка - зцілення жінки, що 12 років страждала від кровотечі, та воскресіння 12-річної доньки Яіра. Через них Христос відкриває силу свого слова, яке дає не лише тілесне, а насамперед духовне життя.
Ісус говорить три прості, але всесильні речення:
«Дочко, віра твоя спасла тебе…»
«Не лякайся, тільки віруй.»
«Таліта, кумі — дівчинко, кажу тобі, встань!»
Кожне з них творить чудо, бо Слово Христа саме чинить те, що промовляє. Воно зцілює розбитих, підіймає померлих і дає мир тим, хто жив у страху.
Проповідь веде нас від болю хвороби і втрати до повноти Божого миру. Вона нагадує, що кожна наша недуга, фізична чи духовна, є лише тінню глибшої проблеми - віддалення від Бога, і що лише віра у Христа повертає людині цілісність.
Слово Спасителя і сьогодні промовляє до кожного з нас:
«Не лякайся, тільки віруй.»
Бо там, де звучить Христове слово, навіть смерть перетворюється на сон, а віра - на життя.
