في هذه الحلقة تتحدث ضيفتنا د. منال مرغلاني استشاري الطب النفسي والحاصلة على شهادة الاختصاص في الطب النفسي من جامعة الملك سعود بالإضافة إلى الزمالة في اضطرابات الأكل من جامعة جامعة اوتاوا عن حفرة الأكل العاطفي وكيف نخرج منها. وتوضح خطر تحول الأكل إلى ملجأ وملاذ لتجاوز الصعوبات الحياتية التي تؤثر على الحالة النفسية. كما تتحدث عن تبعات ذلك وكيفية التصرف فيما إذا كان من يعاني طفلًا . كما تتناول الحلقة أنواع اضطراب الأكل المختلفة وكيف يمكن تجاوزها سلوكيًا ومتى يجب أن نطلب تدخل المعالج النفسي للتحكم في هذا السلوك.
